Kim Stansell was the BEST! Since her departure 2 years ago, I cannot emphasize enough how difficult my experiences have been. I figured this is the year for me to say something about it— I have now been on hold for 30 minutes to try and speak with someone about having my taxes redone after being rejected by fed/state.Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere to have your taxes done.

I waited a while to leave this review but for the price HR Block charges for taxes this shouldn’t be happening. First year with then wasn’t bad. I worked with Jane Abbott who I was unfortunately not able to get the second year. This year was just terrible. First person I was assigned to was a disaster and didn’t do my taxes for days after she was supposed to. Then when I hunted her down to complete them she gave me totally incorrect numbers because “she didn’t have her notes with her”. I complained and they assigned me to someone else and manager even offered to give me a discount when it was all done. Second person I was assigned to was Jukka who was better at taxes but the reality is, even after paying $1000, my taxes still aren’t filed. Also never got a discount for the terrible experience because apparently that manager was gone a week later. As it stands I have to keep calling them even though they took my money so they can complete the job. Find someone else if you want peace of mind. They should be cheaper for this level of service. Also please FINISH filing my taxes or I’m going to escalate to corporate and or file a dispute with my credit card company. This is ridiculous. I only requested the edit the address!!!!

Kimberly Stansell has been doing my taxes for about 13 years now. Shes efficient, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I never have any problems when I work with her. She explains things very clearly and gets the job done. Shes even been willing to work with me remotely since I moved! I upload my forms on the website, she prepares everything before our appointment, and after 15 minutes of her explaining my returns, were done! Total peace of mind. Would recommend her to anyone.I have not had good experiences with anyone else at H&R Block, so this is not a positive review for the company, only for Kimberly.

Jane was phenomenal. I am very upset with how I have been treated in the past with my taxes and information. While in the midst of mymotions, she was very calm and trusting. I just moved into the area and I was able to get in with them really quickly. I made an appointment and the gentleman was very helpful because I was missing a W-2 from a former employer. I really appreciate the hard work they are doing during these stressful times so people like me who’ve struggled to get a W-2 and waited last minute to file I want to thank them for their help. I was a little frustrated that I have to come back BUT, it’s how things are. I highly recommend them and H&R Block in general. Thanks guys!

Isaac was incredibly helpful. I just walked in without an appointment, waited a few and after he was done with his appointment, he helped me out. He was incredibly sweet and actually helped me understand my financial situation even better. We joked that he was the father I never had. Can not wait to see Isaac next year and show him all the good financial decisions that I’ve made!

I’ve been trying to find a new tax pro for a month after learning my original tax pro moved. I do what was needed by uploading my documents. This location and another claims to not see them. They’re in the section labeled “documents” on my account. How hard is that to see? I call and was told I need to call tech service. Tech service tells me that the tax pro needs to call them to find my documents. I get an email shortly after about an appointment that I didn’t make for a time that I couldn’t do. Midday on a Monday? I have this thing called a job. The website and the app wouldn’t let me reschedule. When I emailed that I needed to reschedule I get a call that they’re moving me to another person. I’m forever done with H&R.By the way, they did see my documents, they just didn’t look right. I didn’t do anything different after they claimed to not see them. All of a sudden later they claim to see them.

I just called to make sure it wasnt too late to file and the lady who answered was incredibly rude. At first she asked if she could call me back because she was with a client and of course I understand that. Not a problem. Then when I tried to give her my information she just kept repeating how busy she was. She even scoffed at my name. No thanks. Ill be going somewhere else for sure.

Terrible service, was pressured to file and now H&R Block wont give me a refund of the $315 tax prep fee even though we amended for a better return and it should be covered under their Maximum Refund Guarantee. Poor communication between H&R Block corporate and the local offices. They just point fingers at each other and dont take responsibility.

This if for 2017 service, 2016 service was a much better experience. During the service I was missing a statement for the mortgage I had paid on a home I had sold early in the year. Since it was only 1 month mortgage paid, I was pressured into filing as I was told I wouldnt receive much back for it. Turns out I would receive over $1k for it, so an amendment was needed. Went in to do the amendment and the Tax Advisor said it would be $200. I felt this was not reasonable as I was pressured into filing in the first place rather than waiting until I could retrieve the file. I decided not to amend with them and the Tax Advisor spoke down to me saying if you can figure it out. Not sure on the other advisors, but I do not recommend working with Isaac Behar at this location.
