We purchased a refrigerator from this store and found the product is defective after a month of use. A technician inspected the unit and opened ticket for a replacement. The sale person we worked with at the store was supposed to follow up but he never called. Fine… up to this point, the situation was pretty smooth.5:00pm on Saturday, we get an automated delivery notification from Howard’s that the delivery is scheduled the next day with no other details as to how they pick up the defect. We had to call the CS several times to find out we are supposed to empty the fridge in use before the exchange is delivered. We had just stocked up our fridge earlier that day for the whole week and have no spare fridge to store the food while the replacement cools down to safe operational temperature.We reached out to the store sales person (who says its “out of his hands”), delivery department (who deferred to sales), and their distribution department (who went home for the day). We even offered to pay for a pickup on another day, but no one we talked to has the authority to say “yes”. The person who does went home already (distribution department manager). They told us to just get some coolers and that the defective fridge MUST be taken at the same time.Maybe we wouldn’t have been as upset if we didn’t buy $300 worth of groceries 6 hours before their notification, but Howard’s has shown no empathy to a situation of their making.This is going to be our (and anyone who will listen to us) first and last time dealing with Howard’s.

I recently needed to replace two major kitchen appliances when they wore out and would no longer operate reliably. The first was a double wall oven, and the second was the dish washer. After extensive research and comparison shopping online, I decided to make my purchases at Howards Appliance in Torrance.After having nothing but problems trying to place an order with Howards online system, I finally printed out my order and took it with me to their Torrance store.From that point on, my experience can only be described as first class. Jesus Ruiz (JR) greeted me at the door, looked at my order, and showed me the floor models for what I had picked. He then entered the order into their sales system and made sure all the available discounts were applied. He was knowledgeable and professional throughout the process.A few days later both appliances were installed by a Howards service team. They were clean, neat, and fast.Its been about 6 weeks since my purchases, and so far there hasnt been a single hiccup with the appliances or the installations.My unqualified recommendation if you need appliances is to give Howards in Torrance the opportunity to help you. Im convinced youll get the best price around plus unmatched service too.

From when I walked into the store I knew I was glad I went to Howards. The sales person was friendly and knowledgeable. He answered my questions, led me to the products I was interested in and gave me my space to decide. I purchased a washer, dryer and dishwasher. The payment and delivery schedule was seamless. The delivery and set up was performed by two different knowledgeable pairs of technicians. They contacted me via text and phone for delivery confirmation and arrived at the scheduled times. They were very professional and made sure each appliance worked properly. I give the whole process Five Stars

Worst customer service of all time. We bought our fridge brand new about a year and a half ago and spent $500 on a warranty. The front panel where the water and ice come out, broke. We called Howard’s and they sent out their service folks. Not only did they not fix the panel, they broke the fridge and freezer! They didn’t tell us when they would be back or when they would call, just that they needed parts. I called the store today and the sales woman said that she would do her best to get an answer but that, ultimately since they service team had come out already that they, “were making progress.” Sorry, but breaking something that wasn’t broken before they fixed it, is not progress!! Please go to a different more reputable store. This place is a nightmare.

Our old refrigerator was not able to be repaired. We chose Howards as our appliance store. Very good place to go. Not crowded. You can shop at your own pace and not feel rushed. The salesman was Lorenz. He was super nice and helpful. We chose a side by side Whirlpool as this is the best brand to buy. We had a prompt delivery and the 3 men that delivered the refrigerator were very helpful and friendly. They did a great job as well. I definitely will return there if I need any new appliances. The customer service is A+ in my opinion.

I highly recommend Howards Appliances and had nothing short of an excellent experience with them. I was able to purchase a refrigerator without even entering the store with the professional assistance of Anita. She was thorough in all explanations and used FaceTime to show me the refrigerators in stock. Delivery was within 2 days and was also excellent.

JR (store manager) was easy to work with. However, there is some disconnect with the movers. They were supposed to install the TV and that detail somehow did not make it on their scope of work. Furthermore, the movers lied and said that I did not want them to set it up after I asked about what was required for setup. The integrity is lacking as far as movers go. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. I will leave a separate review for the store, as that was a better experience.

Unfortunate incident that recently happened at Howards in Torrance ca the purpose of this review is about customer service. My salesperson Anita was Great, The store manager was very pleasant the delivery guys very very polite and customer serviceSo how did this go from a good review to a bad one really fast?I was informed to allow the fridge 12 hours before placing food into itafter 12 it was running But no ICE and Warm Water the next day the Freezer went out as well the Refrigeration was off and onNOW FOR THE BAD PART. Went back to Howards and met the VICE PRESIDENT OF RARE ? Voiced my concerns about just replacing the unit.For a Vice President Very arrogant and disrespectful Talk to Me was talking to me as if I was a child Well we dont make it this is a service problem repeatedly dont raise your voice Im not normally how I talk to ask him for his card smiling laughing at me..it is necessary for me to forward a complaint and I am in the process of doing a YouTube VideoMr Riddle CEO HOWARDS
