2023-04-26 16:49:40I am currently in a program through the HRC. It truly is a wonderful and life changing experience. If you want it to be. Before I was in the program I heard things. some negative, now being able to see from the inside. you must do your part. Nothing is handed to you in life. Ive realized thats where these negative experiences were coming from. It may take time but if you stay on the right path and work WITH any program and individual offering help things will be positive. If you do nothing, you get nothing. Life is difficult. Live and enjoy it. Very grateful for all the people at HRC. My son and I thank you. One day will give back.

2015-01-26 19:03:51As a rental property owner I have dealt with HAMC for seven years. I have found them without exception to be helpful, professional, courteous and fair. They are a joy to work with and I find them to be a big reason why Section 8 tenants are completely acceptable to me given the normal qualifying process that all applicants follow.

2017-06-08 22:20:32Im going thru a life changing event with my family, we all are going thru it. We have nowhere to go after June. Our home is being sold or something. The landlord gave us 60 day. Im searching for any solution for us and when I went seeking some kind of help at the housing resource center I felt dumb. First I called and juana gave me good information and I went in to seek that information but when I got there. I saw two girls... one had blonde straight hair and the other one was sitting in her desk. I was left standing there in front of them as the blonde haired girl complains about her phones not working. They did even acknowledge me at all... the blonde haired girl was wearing white too and tight white pans looking like shes clubbing. Very unprofessional. Then I get the list and leave. I then called back to that office to let them know that I had found a place and was ready for their program to assist me... the girl who answered said, sorry sir we dont have funs for that program and hanged up. I feel left out by these people. Some one from a higher authority needs to go check the personnel at this office. So ghetto and rude.

2014-05-15 05:08:11I recently applied for a management position at this agency and it was a great interview and the Executive Director has great insight into the social ills of homelessness. The program appears to have good intentions about how they service people on the Monterey Peninsula.

2017-10-05 01:10:15I was referred here by 211. This was my first and only time in desperate need of rental assistance. Was turned away and told that the Housing Resource Center is strictly for people who receive Cal works and turned away.
