Jonathan is a outstanding teacher who honestly cares about making his actors better. This class was so much fun being able to work scenes and watch scenes every night and leave with so much valuable information. I drove two and a half hours each night for this class and it was worth every mile. A must for actors who are serious about improving their craft.

Hot Shots is LA’s best kept secret. Ever since the industry transitioned to more virtual & self-tape options for auditions, it’s become more & more imperative that your tapes STAND OUT. Hot Shots is the place for exactly that. Both Yasmeen & Jon are incredibly kind, thoughtful & wise, & their space is warm, inviting & unique. I get nothing but amazing feedback from both my reps & casting directors, & above all else, I feel like I’m going to set when I drive to their studio to tape. The little things like use of props & the option to print your sides there go a long way when you’re a busy creative here in LA. Plus, whenever Norbert’s there, you know you’re gonna have an extra creative session. I cannot recommend Hot Shots, Yasmeen & Jon more!

I live in Atlanta, GA and I wish they had a studio like “Hotshots Selftape” in LA. I was able to record my audition with Jon and let me tell you he really makes you feel comfortable and knows how to break down a scene/sides. If you’re in LA and want the best quality work and fast I recommend you go with HOTSHOTS SELFTAPE STUDIO! You won’t regret it.

I recommend Hot Shots! My auditions were vague and general before checking out a self-tape class here, even after going to a handful of other schools and classes.Since joining, I have a strong technique and approach that is applicable for film/tv auditions, callbacks, and being on set.If you’re like me and you want to stand out in your auditions, looking for something new, then tryHot Shots.

In life, You are always going to get all types of different people walking through your door, but to refuse to help an actor because of your own personal judgment, instead of being understanding, is disappointing. Everyone is just trying to do their best and figure out as it comes. Absolutely would not recommend this studio ever again to anyone. The only great person there already left, yes Eric.

You do not need to look further for making a demo reel. Book with Jon and his team. They mean business, and they want your reel to look, and feel, natural and amazing. You will be challenged in all the best ways as an actor. I was impressed by all the attention, direction, and guidance I was given, as well as time and patience. Also the quick turnaround after filming! I can now get my things together to apply for the agencies I want. I cannot thank you enough!

Yesterday was the first time I used a self-tape service, and I got to say, I think I’m converted! Jon at Hot Shots is professional, friendly and fun to work with. Jon offered great notes and insights after every take, and it was fun to play a little bit with my short scene, he got me my tape in less than 6 hours, it looks great and I feel confident sending it off to my agent and casting.I really recommend Hot Shots, and I’m looking forward to the next time I get to shoot with Jon. 10000% worth the money.

My first time I did a self tape here and I will definitely be back!Met Yasmeen and Jonathan today and they were so kind and professional. The studio is so great to work in....its clean, cozy and private with quality equipment. They really do make sure you have a great audition.Loved it!

I went to hot shot self taping for the first time a week ago and got some of the best coaching I’ve ever received. Jon is a true professional. I will definitely be going back for any coaching/self tape needs. Not to mention, I got an immediate callback for the role. This is the place to film your self tape if you want to book!

I cant say enough good things about Hot Shots. Jon is professional, time efficient, and genuinely cares about creating an environment that empowers you to do your best work. He is passionate, detailed oriented, and has smart adjustments that elevate my auditions to the next level. The studio is clean, easy to find, and has parking. The editing process is swift; my edited material is usually waiting in my inbox by the time I get back home. I love this place!
