Rachel is super awesome shes a dog whisperer. My dog is big and a bit fearful of water and nail clippers and teeth brushing. My dog loves her and she always says she has very little issues getting him all cleaned up! I love the report cards and quality of service. Always a treat for me and my dog

Great place! Groomers were always very patient with one of my older dogs that had trouble standing up for a long time. They took care of her when other groomers refused to cut her hair or demanded extra fees. I will keep coming back out of gratitude, even though my current dogs are low maintenance.

I have three dogs and have been coming here for a while now. We always love it but today was extra special. My 15yr old baby (meatball) is living out his bucket list before crossing over the rainbow bridge. He loves his spa days! Anahi, Maddie, Priscilla, and Keri went above and beyond to make this day special for meatball and me. Went as far as signing his report card with special notes 🥹 and saving some hair for me. Thank you all for making this day extra special.

My dog went in for a bath and nail clipping. The Groomer did an excellent job. They are so friendly and helpful. You can tell they love being around all the dogs. My dog came out looking so handsome. I would definitely recommend them.

We love Hot Diggity. Have been taking our two mini goldendoodle pups there for as long as weve had them - one year. Pups are 30 and 40 lbs. Have looked around and would not go anywhere else despite discounts and lower prices. Hot Diggity has a special family-oriented environment and provides services such as Dog Boarding, Vet Services, Dog Grooming and more. In 2023, Hot Diggity organized a Rattlesnake Avoidance Class that we attended, and our pups really benefited from it since we hike a lot. We are ready to take another rattlesnake class to reinforce the avoidance behavior.The Hot Diggity office environment is really nice with employees treating people like friends and pets as family.We dont know what happened last month, but this time around, the groom and stylish cuts on our pups were the best yet. Amazing muzzle and body cuts. We just love going there.Full disclosure, we are proud clients and nothing more.

This is the absolute best place to bring your dog for all of your grooming needs. I have tried other places and not ONE of them was willing to groom my dogs nails due to his resistance. I have brought Gucci here multiple times and Maddie does such an amazing job with him: thank you!

Anahi did an excellent job grooming my mini schnauzer, Wynona! She took detailed notes of my requests and took great care of my girl. I got to see the last couple minutes of her groom and Wynona looked relaxed and happy. Ill definitely be a repeat customer.

Our Charlie boy loves his visits to Hot Diggity Dog Resort. The groomers are amazing and do a fantastic job with our Doodle. The staff is always so helpful and friendly. We make the 20 minute drive from Poway because they are the best!

Super informative and friendly. My dog looked great. She was scared at first but when I saw her on the grooming table, she looked happy. She was super excited and not scared at all when she was done. I overheard someone talking with a customer on the phone about a behavioral problem and they gave great advice. You can also watch the training sessions on a tv in the front and all the dogs looked happy. Going to try them for boarding if the need arises.

Super friendly customer service over the phone while making Remys appointment. Very clear instructions on how to show proof of vaccinations as this was our first time.Easy check in for the appointment - our groomer asked how wed like his coat cut and was very attentive to our needs.Love the heads up text to give me time to plan when to leave to pick him up. Payment/check out was as easy as check in.Our groomer didnt have to muzzle Remy (he has been in the past due to touchiness surrounding people touching his paws and ears), so I know she took time to make him comfortable and was gentle with him enough so that he didnt gnaw at her hands. (I hope he didnt, at least!) (:Overall, super happy with his groom and with the employees here! Will definitely be using their services again.

Our dog Sasha is 14 years old (Australian Shepherd Mix), and while we usually bathe and brush her out at home, she sometimes gets stubborn mats or knots (or nasty burrs!) that require professional help. We have taken her to the groomer inside of one of the major pet stores a few times before, but were told that she gets so stressed out that they have to take several breaks with her... so we honestly thought that going to the groomer was unfortunately just something that was going to stress her out every time (like the vet lol). However, I decided to give K9 Resort and Spa a try recently, and while she was hesitant to leave me at first, she came back looking great and didnt seem stressed at all! As if that wasnt enough, the prices are quite reasonable - definitely much better than going to the pet store where shed be stressed out, anyway. We brought her back again last week, and had another fantastic experience! She seems to really like the staff, and she always comes back to us looking wonderful! Thank you so much for taking such great care of our sweet girl - she looked beautiful for our family photos!!

Hot Diggity Dog is the place for all your dog service needs. My pups get happy whenever they visit because of all the good times they have. Today was the first time Honey and Alex were groomed. Honey receieved the double coat de shedding service with a sanitary clean up. Alex received the double coat de shedding service with a hair cut. Both dogs nails were trimmed, ears cleaned, paw pads cleaned up, smell wonderful, and have cute bandanas. Stephanie and Salem did a beautiful job. Honey is a very shy girl and Im glad she did so well with them. You can even get a report card to see how your dog did while in their care.

Took our 5 month old Bernedoodle puppy for his 1st grooming. He is very active and his hair was like fuzz. Keri really did a wonderful job on him! He looks so handsome - AND he left happy, not at all upset by the experience. We have been taking our 3 year old bernedoodle to K9 for a couple of years for both daycare and grooming and have always been pleased with both services. You can trust everyone at K9 to take good care of your 4 legged family member.

I brought my yellow lab in for deshedding and grooming. I love the staff at Hot Diggity Dog they are so professional and good to my dog.Labs sheds so much due to their thick undercoat and I would get hands full of fur. After the deshedding no more shedding and her coat was so shiny. Thank you Hot Diggity Dog!

No matter how much I bathe my dog on my own with sensitive skin shampoo, he is never as relaxed as he is after getting professionally bathed by the hardworking groomers at Hot Diggity Dog Resort. Today they paid extra attention to his itchy tail per my request, and sure enough, my dog came home no longer itchy and finally able to rest comfortably. The groomers here take pride in their work and clearly use quality products. I always feel at ease leaving my dog in their care 💜 Thank you!

Its the people at Hot Diggity Dog Resort that make the difference! Second time, different dog. Same great experience!! This time my mini schnauzer went in, very matted and dirty. I had even attempted to shave some of her mats so she was very uneven. She had been all over before for grooming- petco,petsmart,vet, and always had issues. I would get a call that she tried to bite or that she was being difficult. Worried that I would have the same problem here, but they did so well with my standard poodle, I had to try. My pup came out looking the best ever! Didn’t have any issues. She was a beauty! I will definitely be coming back with my other two soon.

Pros: very friendly staff. They did a great job with my dogs and they looked amazing afterwards! They even came with a cute report card on how they did. They also ask for vaccines which is great, it shows that they prioritize the health of the dogs that go there.Cons: the receptionist is terrible! The first time I booked with them over phone, I showed up on time and they said they didnt have me on schedule. They were flexible and took me in anyways, and it turns out they put a different owner instead of me. I let it slide because they apologized and saw my dogs anyways. Made a second appointment and the same thing happened. Luckily I called this time before I drove over there. They put me on hold for a long time and I just decided to hang up because this is the second time this has happened. This is ridiculous. Either they are disorganized or dont know how to use their scheduling system.

First time here taking our pup to get groomed. We usually wash her ourselves since she has anxiety and we have to medicate her to get her to the groomer or vet but she needed a good de-shed and her nails done. By far the best experience so far. The communication was great. They even text us saying we can bring her in earlier since they were running ahead of schedule. They also gave us a 20 minute phone call so we could be there to get her right when she would be done. The grooming report card was a nice touch with anxious dog moms like me wondering if their pup is okay. I hesitantly say that were fantastic! Only because I don’t want this place to get too busy where we can’t get an appointment. They did a wonderful job with her and treated her like their own.

My first visit to K9 resort and spa was to get 2 of my dogs updated on their shots. They have a vet come in every other Monday. They were so friendly and we got in and out very quickly. The vet was great and I am going to bring one of my dogs back for a deep teeth cleaning. A couple days later I took both of my dogs in for grooming. Again everyone was very friendly, professional and accommodating to how I wanted them groomed. When I came back to pick them up I was so happy with how they turned out. It honestly was the best haircut/grooming they have ever had and Ive taken them to a lot of different places. They both looked adorable! This is definitely my go to place from now on. I highly recommend.

This place is amazing. Theres a really good vibe from everyone. My dog was afraid going in but the girl at the check-in counter was gentle and patient with him. When I picked him up he came out prancing and so happy. His groomer, Rachel came out and updated me on how he did and her observations while grooming him. Genuinely love this groomers so much. I usually book appointments with Salem but the whole staff is so gentle and friendly with my senior girl. I’m able to walk her to the door every time, and when I mentioned her arthritis they immediately pulled out a belly band to support her on the table. They’re the only people who I want to cut her nails, they’ve never hit a quick and it’s not like she stays very still for them. And she always comes out adorably trimmed teddy bear paws! 10/10 will be back soon

We took our Maltipoo to Hot Diggity Dog Resort and everything was seamless, from scheduling to pick up. The facility was modern and clean, and had a nice smell, which was nice compared to some that I’ve been to. I really liked that they groom the dogs behind a glass window so that you can clearly see everything being done. The services were very professional, all inclusive and priced right. Mandy our groomer was very knowledgeable and had good styling suggestions. She listened to what we asked for and did an awesome job.This is now our go to spot for our favorite pooch!

I highly recommend HDDR!!! Im really thankful to have a place for all my dog needs that I can truly trust! Everyone clearly knows what theyre doing on top of being so nice, friendly, and responsive! I have toy poodles and its not always easy finding a good groomer, but HDDR did the best Ive ever seen! We looked for several potential places to take our Husky to get groomed and found K9 Resort & Spa on Yelp. They came highly reviewed, so I took a chance and Im sure glad I did. They have a great appointment scheduling system, where they can text and email you beforehand so you dont forget. Also, they called 20 min before the grooming was done so we could be there in time for her to be finished up. She came out looking so soft and fluffy, with a cute little bandana! My husband and I could tell they took amazing care of her.We have also kept her there for doggy daycare because of work, as well as boarded her there overnight while we were on vacation and she loved it! I especially love the fact that you can watch them play all day, and then see them sleep in their rooms. She had fun with all the other dogs and got special treats and extra love. Also, their rooms arent the tiny, horrible kennels that are smaller than the size of your dog. They are actually very spacious and come with a cot for your doggy. When I went to go pick up our dog, they provided a daily report card full of stuff she did everyday while we were gone. It was really amazing how much attention to detail they put into everything!We have gone back several times, and the best part is that they remember your dog and the owners, and really treat our furry friends like family! We have even left her for long trips lasting two weeks while we were out of the country, and were never concerned that she wouldnt be taken care of. Love K9 Resort and Spa!

This is the second time I have taken my yorkie to be groomed at Hot Diggity Dog Resort. I love how on top of appointments they are. They contacted me with a reminder message, the day before. The staff is so friendly and welcoming and the facility is clean and organized. They were wonderful with my pup Scarlett, and took great care of her. We choose only Hot Diggity Dog Resort for our dog because of our great experiences there, their professionalism and courtesy.

I brought my shy little dog to day camp to socialize with other dogs and to help her become more independent. Coming for day camp once a week or so helped her become friendly and confident around other doggies. She has also spent about 8 nights over 3 or so stays and she is well cared for; comes home happy and tired from playing! The grooming and anesthesia free teeth cleaning services here are great too. It is very convenient to drop off my dog for day camp and grooming all in one day.The environment at K9 Resort and Spa made my dog feel safe and cared for. The dogs go through a behavior evaluation before being accepted here. It is wonderful to see all dogs are calm and play nice. No rowdy or aggressive behavior! The caregivers are very gentle and loving. Being able to log into the webcams and peek at what the dogs are up to is great too!This a family owned and operated place. The staff know us by name and even remember the progress my dog has made. The facility is clean and service is prompt and friendly.

K-9 resort was an amazing first spa experience for our Mia. Front desk young lady, Jolyn was super nice, friendly, and very helpful. They sent me texts reminders for Mias appointment. They texted 20 minutes before to pick her up, and Mia was super happy, and squeaky clean when I picked her up. The report card at the end is super cute.I recommend it for your pups grooming needs.

K9 and Keri did a beautiful and kind job grooming Murray, our very large (86 lb) poodle schnauzer mix. In fact, Murray liked it there so much after he was brought out to me he wanted to go back in. And he looked gorgeous, they had been able to interpret all the requests I had had for a non standard cut and get it right. This will be our go to grooming place. K9 does a quality job, much much better than all of the less expensive places we tried. I have said it is good value because you get a lot for your money. And it is worth every penny. They pay attention to your requirements, they are kind to the dogs, they are organized and professional and they can handle large animals as well as small.

K9 resort and Spa is amazing! I took my almost one year old Yorkie here and they were fantastic! She has been seen by several groomers previously who had said she wasn’t very cooperative. We usually would receive phone calls from previous groomers to pick her up early and the groomers had to take breaks when dealing with her. Similar to what others posted in the reviews before mine. K9 Resort and Spa not only did an amazing job but never complained and completed her entire grooming! This was her very first time getting fully groomed! I cannot tell you how grateful I am for K9 resort and Spa! Thank you! They even gave her a report card and she didn’t fail!! Her first passing report card! I was very pleased with the service. In a day when customer service is frequently lacking, everyone here was truly fantastic. My two labs have never been this clean! I have been taking my dog, Pi here for a few months and it has been the best grooming experience she has ever had. She gets the de-shed service. The groomers do an excellent job. Her coat is so much softer with a lot less hair around my house. The location is very convenient for me since it’s around the corner from my office and I can walk on over. Once Pi got skunked and they are able to squeeze her in after I had tried to get the smell off myself. I highly recommend K-9 Resort and Spa!

I’ve been using K-9 Resort and Spa since they first opened in Escondido. The owners, Penny & David are warm, wonderful people who not only care very much for your dogs, they care very much for you. With their help, I’ve trained my now seven-year-old golden retriever and received their expert advice and help with our fearful, but friendly, German Shepard. They have been very patient with her and are the only ones I trust to leave her with. I highly recommend their grooming and training staff.

Awesome place! I took my two dogs there for a cleaning and flea treatment. Making the appoint was very easy. Their website is easy to navigate and I was able to call and make the appointment, super friendly staff. We got there a few minutus early and there was no issue with being seen. The front desk rep, Penny, was amazing. Very welcoming, very nice, and super genuine. When we came back after about an hour, the dogs were as good as new. Will definitely be coming back for all my future grooming needs. They also do overnight stays so we might use them for that as well.

We have been SO happy with K9Resort&Spa. We were planning on boarding our puppy there on an upcoming vacation so wanted her to have some time at daycare to get used to it. We signed her up for their LEEP program so she gets training while she’s there! It’s been amazing! David, Penny, and all the staff are so friendly and our puppy gets some fun, safe playtime while I work. When we boarded her last week we were able to check in on her with their WebCams. She was a happy pup and received private training and had her first professional grooming while she was there. We will definitely continue using all of their many services. I had such high hopes for this place based on the reviews but I was incredibly disappointed. I took my Pomeranian there for a deshed and haircut. I spoke with the groomer, showed her pictures, specifically said to leave his hair 2” as we are moving this week to a very cold climate and he will have to be on a plane etc. I said please don’t shave him as this is terrible for Pomeranian coats and I don’t want him to be cold with our move. I emailed the pictures at her request so she had something to reference. I picked him up to see he had been shaved down to less than 3/4”, he had not been deshed at all. She just took clippers to him. She also cut his tail approximately 5” off. I spoke to the front desk and ended up asking to speak to the owner or manager but was told the owner would not call me and the manager is on vacation. I would not recommend this business to anyone who cares about their dog, mine will now be suffering for weeks in the cold and hoping his hair grows back at all because the groomer completely ignored the instructions.

If it weren’t for business reviews I never would have been blessed to find K9 Resort and Spa so I’m writing my own now. After two traumatic visits to other groomers and being told that my dog was virtually ungroomable, I called K9 and told them my story. They were very reassuring on the phone and willing to give us a try. They worked their magic with my pup and did a beautiful job. Stephanie even texted me a photo of my smiling happy dog midway through his appointment. I also took in my younger very timid dog for her first grooming (bath and nail trim)Words cannot express how thankful I am to have found our forever groomers. I have been getting services here for at least 4 years. My little buddy Charlie was always nervous going into the other groomers that I have tried. He required being on leash and he would fight to avoid going in. Here at K9 Dog Park he is comfortable enough that he will walk through the front door on his own. He always looks so good and they trim him just the way I like him. Training classes I have taken have been fun and helpful in making Charlie a happy and comfortable dog out in public. My pup is super sweet and easy going but he hates going to the groomer. I was really worried about switching but my old groomer closed and he was WAY overdue! He’s a poodle-mix so he needs a lot of cutting and shaping. Not only did they do an excellent job with how he looks, but he was happy! 1) I was concerned my 6 mo goldendoodle would be too much for a groomer and they would only suggest shaving him down; 2) My husband was fairly adamant on having the dogs hair on face and body fairly shaggy. After showing a picture of what we wanted, I just left him in the groomers hands. I had heard that all their groomers were good with doodles, and that must be the case. The whole staff here is wonderful! Our rescue dog got kicked out of a previous daycare because he has a lot of energy and is super mouthy. We have been working with him for about 6 months and while he is getting better it is a slow process. Weve not have had a single problem here they understand his behavior issues and have been a vital part in working to correct them. We are a team together in teaching manners and better behavior. We did training with Penny, the co-owner and head trainer, and it was well worth it.

This was our first visit to K9 Dog Park. I have a LARGE lab/husky/shepherd/? mix with an extremely heavy coat. He gets a shave down every couple of months to keep him comfortable so were familiar with several different grooming shops. Well, I can honestly say Penny and her crew are terrific! We are so glad this place is so close to our home. The owners are so nice and seem to know everyone and their dogs by name. Our two male dogs are shorthaired so the grooming gets done quickly, however, our female gets a special cut and she looks great. They are so sweet with all of them. I heard about K9 Resort from a friend and read the amazing reviews online, and decided to take my dog there.From my first call to schedule an appointment, I was impressed. There was a small miscommunication in the service she needed, but they immediately called me and cleared everything up-their communication was much appreciated! They also called me about 20 minutes prior to the service completion, which allowed me ample time to get back.When I got there, Slash was extremely happy, and did not display any of the behavior she had previously exhibited at the last groomer. AND she looked perfect. The cut was exactly what I asked for, she smelled amazing and her coat was puppy-soft.I have to give 5 stars for this service, and will definitely be bringing Slash back in the future! I have been taking my standard poodle to K9 Resort & Spa for over 2 years, now. She is a regular participant in the Daycare program. Her experiences with the entire staff have been outstanding. We were stressed out and nervous about leaving our 9 months old maltipoo puppy, Winnie, for the first time in her life. We checked out other boarding places but were disappointed to find out dogs didn’t get their own rooms or they were unable to have social interaction with other dogs unless we paid the extra fees for dog camps on top of a deceptively low boarding fee (which means unless we paid extra she would only be out 10-15 minutes out of her room with a staff member 3-4 times a day with no social interaction with other dogs). There were also other restrictions about using their own brand of dog food, bathroom breaks etc.I browsed the internet and I loved how David and Penny started their business from a great love of dogs and have such a deep understanding of our canine friends. From the moment we stepped into K9 Resort and Spa and were greeted by Penny, I knew I made the right choice. She is so friendly and reassuring to nervous dog parents. I didn’t feel pressured at all. All of my questions were answered clearly. Many customers came in and incredibly, she knew every customer and their dogs by name and so I knew they were happy returning customers.K9 Resort and Spa looked clean, smelled clean and didn’t even look like a typical dog boarding place. Another deciding factor was when she showed me how you can even see your dog on the webcams from your phone. We left our Winnie for a Full Day daycare and temperament evaluation, reassured she was in good hands. At pickup, we were happy to see how happy she was from playing all day with other dogs who passed the temperament evaluation (so you know there’s no aggressive dogs who might attack your pup). We’re so happy and relieved we found K9 Resort and Spa. I love how the owners, Penny and David are there and how friendly and professional all the staff members are. Now we’ve signed her up for boarding while we go on vacation and Full Grooming.

I was so excited about taking my dog to this place, after seeing reviews. It would have been a better experience if they communicated better, what to expect. When I made the reservation I spoke to a sweet woman on the phone, and told her my dog would most likely need muzzled during grooming. She said they work with a lot of aggressive dogs. I was quoted a price somewhere in the $90’s which included the full grooming package. She said if she weighs in under 50 pounds it would cost less. When we checked her in she did weigh under 50 pounds. When we returned to pick her up, she wasn’t cooperative so they were able to de-shed only, but they couldn’t brush her teeth, clean her ears, clip her nails. They said they couldn’t get the muzzle on her so unable to complete the services. They charged me $80. When I asked if the price would be reduced because of her weight he said it would have been $119 normally. That’s not close to what I was originally quoted. I think they should have just called early on and communicated that they were unable to work with her. Instead I was still charged full price. I wouldn’t have been so disappointed when picking her up 2 1/2 hrs later. I would just recommend asking them to communicate if any issues occur with your dog.

Getting to know my pets and myself, both owners were personable, kind and professional.My insights on my pets were taken seriously as well as my questions.I brought my dogs for a day camp test and I received verbal feedback and the cutest performance like report card scoring from their staff who played with, engaged and observed my dogs with other dogs.Furthermore, during my dogs 5 day stay, they gave me codes so that I could access video to observe my pets. They also responded via text quickly when I asked them a question.Finally when I picked both my pups up.. the carefully inventoried objects were all accounted for by their kind staff as well as a detailed report on each puppy (including eating) and they were clean and happy!!The couple that runs K9 Resort are caring and accommodating great people. We have a 5 yr. old Aussie. Over the Holidays, we were out of town for 14 days but were concerned because we had never left him for that long. After looking at several options, we chose K9 Resort and Spa. What a great choice! The facility was clean and very nice, both the indoor play room and his private suite, and the people were wonderful to deal with and obviously very caring. The highlight for us on this trip, was the ability to tune in on our cell phones and watch our dog anytime throughout the day or night from our location in Chicago. To think that we actually got to share our pets experience while we were gone and even more impressive was their willingness for us to be able to watch how well they were doing in caring for him while he was in their care. All-in-all, a unique and impressive experience--and the dog appears to have enjoyed it too!

I have been going to K9 Resort and Spa for several years and I have been completed satisfied. My dog, Bella, is a very hard to handle because she nips when she gets scared from the blow dryer or the electric razor. The staff is very careful not to stress the dogs out and they are all caring toward their customers (dogs). I drive all the way from Carmel Mountain because I know they will be treated with TLC and they are excellent groomers.

Weve been taking our Goldendoodle, Harvey, to K9 Dog Park since bringing him home in April. He LOVES the doggy daycare, as do we, as it tires him out and they teach him some basic commands (like sit, walking on a leash) while hes there. Weve also had Sonia groom him twice. Last week i left my Australian shepard Dolly, for 3 days. I was completely saddened by what i saw, and didnt see. For the price i paid and I supplied food and bones and treats and toys. It was extremely expensive. Manly because she spent 75% of her time locked in a windowless closet type room. Barking the whole time. And shes not a barker. Then when she was out she paced alone. Completely ignored. Never did i see human interaction. No petting, playing, nothing. Only someone mopping that never touched her. And when i left her, i said.... she prefers people. The other dogs played. She paced. I called in when i saw her locked up so much, they said they rotate them out every 20 min. I watched alot. Not 20 min. If i wanted her to be ignored for 3 days i could have left her home in my closet. I supplied bully sticks. Never saw those in her room either. I had her groomed before my roomate picked her up. That i can say, she looked good. I will never leave her there again. It was heartbreaking. And ive told people not to leave their dogs there either.

First thing I want to say is, this place does an outstanding job on nail trimming! My puppys nails are all smooth out and even my little niece noticed it. She used to complain about getting scratches all the time that made her afraid to visit. But ever since taking my puppy to K9, she is now constantly calling and asking if she can visit and have not heard her complain about getting scratches. I used to take my puppy to the vet to get his nails trimmed but the nails were still long and sharp. As for price, I paid way less at K9 so I guess the saying you get what you paid for is not always true. What I also like about K9 is, they take care of their customers very well! Where to begin... from my first phone call to make an appointment to picking up our boy that afternoon, the experience was excellent. It was apparent that the staff is kind, dedicated, compassionate, and, knowledgeable in this field and very capable. I was even greeted by the owner when I dropped Cooper off for his first visit/evaluation. He was with them for much of the day and when I picked him up in the afternoon, it was apparent that he had had an exciting/ fun-filled day. He was so happy! We just rescued Cooper two weeks ago, yet he was not at all apprehensive about any of the staff, which says a lot about their connection with the animals in their care.I was even given a doggie report card (Coop scored a Happy Camper... hes a genius!) when I picked him up. I want to start by apologizing for not remembering all the staff members names, but the service I recieved on such short notice was amazing. I had come in fairly early morning, and the gentleman who was checking clients in, was very informative; gave me a referral and checklist of vaccines to get my pooch pal a bath and haircut, and because of that, my buddy was able to have his vaccines up to date. I was able to take the place of a cancelled appointment, and my dog was pretty matted, but the groomer, Ms. Pricilla did AN AMAZING JOB!! When I picked up my pooch pal Teddy, he looked so cute!! I had an appointment for an evaluation to board there and was so excited after seeing reviews. When I arrived at the scheduled time they had people complaining about their appointments being wrong but I didn’t think anything of it. Then to find out they told me they let too many dogs in and there was no room for my dog( even with a scheduled appointment). They said there is nothing they can do. I left and will not be boarding there. They had more than enough time to call me before to say they were at capacity as my appointment was 10:00-3:00. They seem very unorganized. I wanted to let everyone who reads these reviews know that K9 Resort & Spa made it right almost immediately by refunding the full amount of our pups de-shed. Its the only place we trust to board him when were traveling and where hes had all of his grooming done since we brought him home at 8 weeks old.However, on Friday, Id scheduled him for a 1:30PM De-shed. Id made the appointment on Wednesday evening. These are lengthy appointment slots as hes a double coated Klee Kai so its scheduled for 1 hour & 45 minutes. I should also note that when we take him in for grooming he spends the whole day in daycare there as well.I got a text just before 9AM on Friday morning basically saying theyd bumped his appointment to 3:30PM. I thought maybe my husband had okayed this change since hes the one who drops Remy off in the morning, but he didnt. There was no call to ASK if this would be okay with us, just a text message and an email stating theyd changed his appointment. We have an appointment every Friday night with friends & we were 45 minutes late because of this bump. When we asked the gal at the front desk she basically said some more people had booked & they were trying to accommodate & fill in where they could.I knew when Id booked the 1:30PM that we would have plenty of time to pick Remy up & make our appointment.It wouldve been nice to at least get a phone call ASKING if this was going to be okay, to which we wouldve said no, but because they didnt call I wasnt even given the opportunity.We will continue to bring Remy to K9 for their services as we think they are the best at what they do. However, I would just ask for some common courtesy when considering changing peoples appointments.

My complaint is that I feel their prices are inflated and keep getting worse. When I began taking my dog the cost was $80 for bath and trim ( this was $20 more than I was paying at my previous groomer), but I went ahead and did it. Now they have raised the price $15 MORE, costing me $95 for bath and trim. That, to me is ridiculous. I wouldnt pay that for my OWN hair! It is for that reason we will not be back. Very disappointing. Perhaps their rates are fine for those of greater means, but for an average person on a budget it has become unaffordable.

Grooming services great, but please take your dog elsewhere if you are thinking of boarding them. The place is not suitable at all for boarding dogs. They have very unusual rules, like 7 pages of forms to fill out, mixing dogs that are not spayed/neutered with other dogs that are not spayed/neutered.The lady doing doing the temperament test wants instant loving reaction from dogs shes never met before and instant liking to a surrounding that the dogs are not used to. She does not understand that this is a natural reaction from dogs or any animal for that matter. The bottom line is, just stick to offering only grooming, since you have such a limited space or advertise that you only accept really small breeds. Learned big time from this experience. Will never use their services again!

I have been taking my dog, Luna, to K9 Resort and Spa for the last five months. She goes two days a week for full day daycare. She loves to arrive and drag me into the resort to play and she comes out at the end of the day, happy, exhausted and smelling great! I took my old girl for grooming on 12/29. She still had a faint skunk odor on her ears from a Thanksgiving encounter. I didnt tell them about it and didnt expect it to be gone when I picked her up.But Surprise! She looked great and smelled great.This was her first time there. When I picked her up, she was not in a hurry to leave. That tells me that she did not have any bad experience there (after almost 11 years together, Im pretty good at reading her).Nice folks! Totally recommend!

My husband and I have been using K9 for all-day daycare weekly for our Aussie. This week, we also did some grooming for the first time.I completely trust the folks at K9 to take care of our girl. She comes home happy and tired, and with a sweet note about how the day has gone.We can watch on the webcam, but thats just too addictive, so I stopped that!She looks, smells and feels beautiful after her grooming.Bringing our doggie to daycare seemed like an extravagance, but it became necessary for her care since we work such long days. I am so glad we started bringing our girl in. It helps socialize her and break up her week. I notice she is even better with other dogs now when we go to the public dog park.

I feel really good about taking my dogs to the K9 resort, everyone there is very friendly and sweet, and they really care about the dogs.We have only used their grooming services, the groomers always do a great jobs on our dogs and are very sweet to our dogs.

So...I brought my 3 boston terriers in for grooming last Friday and figured that they could also stay in the doggie day care for part of the day. Well, not only did they look and smell great when I picked them up but they were also completely pooped for the rest of the day. I was hesitant to use the day care at first because they are my 3 little shadows but after they warmed up to the other dogs (and stopped following me around), they adjusted quite nicely. I will use the day care services again (and the grooming!). Thank you!

We own two Olde English Bulldoggs and take them to K-9 Dog Park for their treat---Dog Spa. They love it and everyone there pays attention to detail; are very friendly and always have time to answer your questions.Blucifer our male, went through Canine Good Citizen Training @ K-9 and did very well. Instructor was great and we always had time to review the days lessons. Maggie our female, will attend Therapy Dog Training in two weeks and we are looking forward to the experience.I would give K-9 a 10 out of 10 for customer service, knowledgeable staff and overall environment.

We love the K9 Dog Park! Our 4 year old JRT mix loves it too. He hasnt always had the best experiences with grooming at other places, but always comes back into my hands loved and happy from the K9 Dog Park. David and Penny truly love dogs and it shows. Their easy online scheduling and payments makes it a breeze and they always seem to have some fun event going on for dog owners & dogs We love the K9 Dog Park!

Our Basset Hound has separation anxiety and howls all day when were at work. We started bringing her to K9 for Doggy Daycare to help with the bonus of giving her lots of friends to play with every day. She comes home tired and happy. She behaves better on walks, and is less fearful when saying hello to dogs we meet while out and about. Very much recommend the services here.

My lil guy’s first ever professional hair cut done by Keri.I have Multi factor authentication on all my online accounts, so the fact I’m writing a review meant I had to remember all my passwords, shoot a code in order to write this review. And I should, because the business, and Keri deserve it.I’m an Amazon pro, I don’t go out of my small bubble because I work from home and by that I mean I just work a lot. Convenience matters to me. These rockstars provide the best possible care for our little pup! They really take the time to know your pup and give them what they need.He just loves going to daycare, can’t get enough of the L.E.E.P training and always comes back home well rested and in a loving mood (not overtired or agitated).The staff here are terrific and the business operates with such open and honest practices that they’re willing to have their daycare on webcam for owners to see how their dogs are doing throughout their stay.We’ve also used grooming and boarding services which were both phenomenal!

Our dog Loki (51/2 month old boxer) went to K9 Dog Park for all day doggy day care and grooming. The first thing that my husband and I noticed when we walked into the facility was how clean it smelled. Due to our busy schedule, we were unable to log into the webcam to see how Loki was doing during the day. When we picked him up, his coat was very soft from the conditioning and his nails had been trimmed nicely. Loki was very happy to see us. When we got him in the car, he immediately fell asleep in my husbands arms and started snoring. He had a very sound sleep that night and woke up the next morning, ready to go. I really liked the fact that we received a report card when we picked Loki up to know how he did throughout the day and what the staff worked with him on. The whole day went to smoothly and Loki clearly had a good day, so we signed him up for 7 more days at doggy day care. Thank you to the staff at K-9 Dog Park for taking so excellent care of our puppy:)

Super friendly staff. They will explain all the services so well. Must go to this place for good spa service for your dog. I’ve taken my husky there twice, I loved it. My dog is super clean and his coat is shiny and smooth.
