I recently had an amazing experience at the Honda dealership, thanks to my service advisor, Nick. From the moment I met Nick, his kindness and professionalism stood out. He ensured that I was well taken care of from the beginning to the very end of my visit.Despite living just 5 minutes away from another Honda dealership that provided me with a terrible experience, I chose to drive 35 minutes to see Nick instead. The extra travel time was absolutely worth it. Nicks dedication to excellent customer service made all the difference.I highly recommend this dealership to anyone in need of Honda services. Nick and the team here truly go above and beyond to ensure a positive experience for their customers.

Had an appointment for 8:00 am. Arrived 10 minutes early and Service Writer Stella Taylor was right there before I even got the engine turned off! I had the car scheduled for installation of the splash guards and mentioned I wanted the 3M film door edging and door handle trim. She called the outside vendor and got them to the car dealer pronto! Less than 90 minutes later, I was on my way home with all items installed. Great service!

Took my 2014 Honda Accord Sport to the service department for the major 100k-125k service on 3/25/2024.The team there did a great job checking me in and getting my car back to me by the end of the day even with a large service request.A big thank you to Nick A, who was my service advisor. He did a great job keeping me up to date and worked with me to make sure the cost wasn’t too high.The Technician was Jason R. and he did a great job servicing my car. Honda of Escondido’s service was phenomenal. Omar helped me with getting my ac fixed. Although it was under a recall and it was a bit inconvenient getting the work done, they made it so easy and simple.I’ve been to different Honda dealership and Escondido Honda has set a standard on what amazing customer service looks like.Omar, my technician specialist, even called me at the end of his shift to let me know he would not be in the office the next day. This made it easy to know who I was going to be contacting. If I choose to buy another Honda it’ll only be at this dealership.

We have a new 2023 Odyssey Touring and the infotainment system went black? Benito saw the problem and they got on it. Diagnosed on Monday brand new vehicle bad infotainment screen it was ordered and it was fixed and returned to us on Wednesday. Over all the services was great nice friendly staff. Once diagnosed quick repair. Awesome staff and communication was timely. I would highly recommend!!Thank you

Whoa 😳!!! It showed 4.9 for the reviews. No way.No waiting area. Restroom out of order.Service advisors hate their job.Fernando Almaraz has a stock answer for most questions: “ we need your car for most of the day, are you okay with it”, even before hearing the question. Feels frustrated to get up from his chair. Felt sorry. Hope the minimum wage gets to 50$ soon.

I went in to Honda of Escondido to get my car inspected a month after purchase. They touched base on all of my concerns and were very helpful! Stella is a great service rep. Could be better at the check out process. Reviewing the bill and discussing any finding from the vehicle inspection would be a plus. The cashier was lifeless and needs to speak up when commuting with customers. Over all I will probably return.

Poor experience today.After getting off the phone with the service advisor, he said he would call me a Lyft. 45 mins goes by and I call and text him, no response. I call the front desk and ask the lady to check on my Lyft. He forgot to call the Lyft for me.Now my 8 min ride to Honda became 35mins, cus its rush hour.Pick up my car, they forgot to reset the service minder on my oil change. Again!Did they even chant the oil?Then I get home and I realized I dont have my FOB. The car starts so its in the car somewhere. My wife and I spent an hour looking for the list FOB. We finally found it jammed inside some components under the seat.Frustrating...

Service is great if you have questions they answer them for you. However when I got my car back. They gave me back my car on empty. I barely made it to the nearest gas station. I do hear a screeching noise when I turn my steering wheel. Other wise I don’t have complains about their service. Always nice and keep you updated.

Rough start but they came through at the end. Had a lot of work done on my 2006 Insight. Purchased used so unforeseen repairs & did finally fix the loud noise from wheel bearings, yes, victory there!! Have had 2 Insights during my time here. Advisors try really hard to accommodate.

Went for a routine oil change took the opp to bring up an issue tht Mgr Mike couldn’t assist w and refused to provide corporation number, bad customer service for him, it had being over 6 mo since we last spoke w no updates.Rep Nick was able to assist w the issue that Honda created themselves w/in less of a week.The inconvenience (they created) deserves 0 star but in order to submit review it must be more. I guarantee you will have a great experience coming to Honda Escondido’s service department! It’s very simple to schedule an appointment and once you arrive to the dealership, everything will be taken care of easily. I spoke with two different service advisors, and the service manager, and I can assure you that each and everyone of them took personal time to make sure that I was taken care of. I went in for a visual inspection for any possible undercarriage damage after falling into a sink hole. Rick Saia was my service rep. My CRV was inspected throughly with video footage and deemed to be damage free. The best part was it didnt cost me anything being a regular customer at Honda of Escondido. I brought CRV in for oil change, tire rotation, new filters and brake fluid exchange. No waiting on a Wednesday! Went to breakfast and it was done. Excellent service by Ivan the Service Advisor, Alejandro the Technician, and the female manager? She showed me how to remove key fob from key chain (duh). Service was excellent, no appearance of anyone ever being in the car (no floor or seat paper, no tags etc.). Best ever! Very happy.

They were friendly, quick and easy. The only thing I will say is they recommended some work done like air filter replacement, but I didn’t get a call to ask if I wanted it done. Instead they just said my car was ready for pickup and only did the original request work. I had to call them and ask them to add that since I didn’t want to bring it back anytime soon. So is it a good or bad thing that sales wasn’t pushy? I guess depends on customer.

Been taking my cars there for years, never had an issue with the service nor staff. Plus, they honor other Honda dealerships coupons, which is nice!3/25/24- Took my 2009 CRV, great appt, used a coupon and they honored it as usual. The only thing that I noticed, they do a multi point inspection, I asked them to refill all fluids. Got home, seen that we were low on brake fluid as noted by tech, but no evidence of them re filling it. Other than that, they are good. Just make sure they dont overlook refilling fluids

He gave me so many great tips, especially on how to keep the mice away from chewing the engine wires!! I live in the country. Fernando typically helps me and has my last two visits. He always goes above and beyond and is a tremendous asset to Honda and the perfect representation to the Company!! When Im at Honda of Escondido for service and if I see anyone in the car lot looking around. My job requires me to be on the road up to 200 miles a day. Im a single women, a Senior and they know it and see to my safety and make sure all is well. I have had a couple of last minute emergencies and Fernando always makes the time, no matter how busy they are to get me back on the road as quickly as possible, educating me on what to do, making sure Im safe. I have taken my Patients cars in for maintenance at their car dealerships and have been shocked by the slow, poor customer service and maintenance. Youre just a number. I brought my pilot in to get two new keys and reprogram three existing keys. I came to pick up the car and keys and when I got home I tried the keys. Two would not work and I had to return the next day to start the entire process over again. My frustration was that neither the technician nor the service manager took the time to the check the keys prior to calling me for pickup.

I have used Honda of Escondidos service department for many years (and even purchased a Honda from them). For many of those years the service department has been outstanding. In recent years it seemed to fall off a bit and I had two somewhat suspect interactions in particular. There has been high turnover of service advisors the past few years and at times you get the feel youre being upsold a bit. To be honest, I considered switching where I serviced my car to a different location after one suspect and expensive interaction recently. I decided however to give them an opportunity to regain my trust and they didnt disappoint. I am raising my rating of Hondas service department back to 5 stars based on my most recent interaction, which was a positive one. Ivan Peralta has been my new service advisor and he seems like a great guy. He handled my most recent service professionally, courteously and promptly. I appreciate his service. I would reiterate however that I hope the owner(s) of this Honda location are compensating their service advisors fairly. I understand how sales works, but forcing/encouraging service advisors to rely on upselling to bolster their income, will likely hurt the company in the long run. Consumers like me can be loyal, but once they feel theyve been taken advantage of, they are often likely to leave for good. I have come very close to doing so myself. Trust is extremely important in any relationship, especially with your service advisor/mechanic servicing your car. Im cautiously optimistic that Ive turned the corner with Hondas service department and that the service department is moving back to the way it had always been for me (honest, trustworthy, fair, etc...). Thank you Ivan for the outstanding service on my most recent visit!

Very thorough inspection and service. I liked the video of the inspection, which they sent me while I waited. All the reps that I talked to were super attentive and friendly.One small confusion is that you authorize the inspection and oil change by signing when talking to the representative. However, within minutes, you get an online request for authorization as well. You only need to sign one.The customer lounge is phenomenal too! Coffee, hot chocolate, couches for watching TV or tables for eating or working, free wifi, and stocked vending machines.

Rick Saia was great. I had a problem with my truck that occurred traveling to Escondido and needed it fixed quickly so I could return on time. Rick made me an immediate appointment and the issue was diagnosed and repaired, along with correcting a recall item and routine maintenance within 2 days, plenty of time for my return trip. Rick kept me informed the entire time. He is very personable and knowledgeable. I will be using Escondido Honda for maintenance in the future.

It was pretty good. People were nice and outgoing. I got attended by someone immediately which was great. The downside for me though was they didn’t have a family friendly section. I have a little one of 2 years and at my other dealership they had a kid section and even preteen section. Here they just had the typical tables and vending machines with a coffee bar section. I am going to give you 4 stars, the service went well and the advisor did great! My only complaint is I went in for only an alignment and at the end of the service was not provided with a before and after alignment reading print out. Now I know you can say the printer isnt working (and if not working with the money you make you can afford to fix it) but how does anyone actually know the alignment was completed and in proper spec? The problem is I know I didnt physically watch the alignment get completed so now I am left wondering. Just giving some advice to a shop who wants to be 5 stars but youre not quite there. Shop is super clean and fresh. Seems like a decent place to get your car serviced.

I originally got a quote from the service scheduler only to find out when I arrived that it was going to be $300 more than originally quoted from the call center. Omar explained that those quotes are not accurate and that I needed to always call him directly to confirm. I was not happy to hear this, felt like a bait n switch. It was a repair that was needed to safely continue driving the vehicle so I opted to stay and get the repair completed. However the operators at the service center have completely lost my trust. Andrew was very helpful. This was the second time I was coming back so this is a combined review. In the past I had no issues but for some reason I’ve been assigned Omar twice. First time I did not talk to him until after my car was serviced. Another employee took over because my car had been waiting in the service line 20 minutes after my appointment time. (I was the first in line there and last to be seen) Second time I didn’t realize they assigned me Omar again. Andrew took over because Omar was gone. He was very helpful and prompt. Last time I spoke to Omar I asked him to change my phone number in the system. Then when he was supposed to call me about my car, I did not hear back for hours. So I called and Omar said he called my number (he even quoted my new number), he did not and later confessed he called my old number. I don’t know if they’re giving him too much to do but this is the first time that I have had such issues at this business. I will try to make sure I get someone who is more prompt and keeps their appointments. I understand he was held up by a previous customer but he needs to find a more democratic way to end a long conversation so you don’t miss appointments with your next client.

I needed a replacement key for my Honda Accord. I called the service department to find out how much it was going to cost. I also called 3 different locksmith companies because I had heard that getting a key replaced from the dealership is a rip off. Well, that is a myth because 2 of the highly recommended locksmiths were going to charge more and the 3rd locksmith who quoted me $20 less than Honda, then wouldn’t return my phone call to schedule the service. I was able to have my car towed to Honda, no appointment required, and it was finished and ready within 2 hours after the vehicle was dropped off.Aside from the inconvenience of having the car towed to the dealership, overall, I was very satisfied with my experience with both the service and customer support at Honda of Escondido on Auto Park Way. I had warranty service done on my civic due to leaking AC lines. This was covered under warranty and I wasn’t charged a dime. Thank God. Beware of other dealers that try to charge you diagnosis fees when your car is under warranty.Service advisor Rick was great. Very informative and quick to answer any questions and concerns. Upfront and honest, thanks Rick.

I went in for a free recall check. Service department sent a video of what they found under the hood and followed up with a written itemization of service suggestions. Prompt text messages and updates throughout the day. Service was complete when promised. Andrew was very kind and attentive.

We were in the middle of a road trip. Brakes starting making an intermittent thumping sound. Another repair shop was unable to diagnose the issue. Honda of Escondido did a thorough diagnostic process, found and resolved the issue. Stella, the service tech, and very pleasant and communicative.

Fantastic service on most things. Not recomended to have them change simple stuff like air filters. Astronomical prices on emissions and suspension assuming they can get parts.
