Look no further! My husband and I first worked with Russell Johnson in 2016 when we had to empty, list and sell a family home in Lakewood in just 55 days. He got the job done and was a real pleasure to work with. Then in 2021, again on a very short deadline, we needed to purchase investment property with insurance settlement money that ultimately proved insufficient to cover a planned (and already permitted) rebuild after a major fire at our commercial property. Russell worked with us from Belmont Shore to East L.A., looking at commercial as well as residential properties, and we ended up purchasing 2 residential triplexes just ahead of a major tax deadline. Russell is so attentive, thorough and dedicated, wed use him again without hesitation should the need arise. His Finance and Mortgage team are equally great. We have worked directly with Russell on buying/selling 5 houses, and indirectly on 3 others. He never ceases to amaze us. He continues going over and above what is actually required of him. He has worked side by side with our lenders so we wouldn’t have to worry about the progression. He came to our current home late in the evening and moved chairs inside for us, after our tiring trip from AZ to here. He’s always been available no matter what time of day or night. Rus”sell” Johnson did his best to derail our home buying experience. He invented a turf war with the buying agent, threatened to cancel the sale without consulting his clients (after money was already in escrow), and was just plain rude to the mortgage broker. He’s egotistical and obtuse. Do yourself a favor and work with someone else.
