2024-02-05 19:13:53I absolutely loooove this place. Ive only had good experiences from this park. They have a little something for everyone. From the kids to the wife or the boys group. What your comfortable riding they have trails for it! The tracks are always great, too!

2024-05-18 03:17:11A days worth of trails with varying difficulty all doable in a capable jeep. None are terribly hard but some of the man-made obstical course will require a decently built rig. Never been crowded when I visit.

2024-03-22 01:22:22When you live in the Bay Area your off roading options are extremely limited. Having this nearby is nice. When I do mods such as suspension ECT its handy to try them out without travelling for hours

2023-10-31 12:20:19I came here for a group camping Jeep event.Restrooms were clean the camping area was nice and trails were so much fun.Recommend printing a map before coming out to navigate the trails easier.

2023-07-16 01:41:39Great place to learn off roading skills and have fun doing it. Besides off-roading learning you also learn how to spot your driver. After the learning skills the instructor takes you out trail riding which is also a confidence builder. The instructors also teach first responders at the driving school as well.

2022-02-15 14:39:10This park is very awesome! There are lots of trails for all types of off-roading. Cool views even if it gets a little congested sometimes. There are 2 sides to this park, one side is for dirt bikes and one side is for 4 wheelers. This is nice because I don’t have to worry about a dirt biker flying down the trail when I’m wheeling, and flying into a wheeler when I’m dirt biking.

2020-09-15 05:45:16Awesome place with a fee of just $5. Super amazing clean restrooms in their camp grounds. Less to no network coverage in most areas. You can enjoy the live Motor sports by the motorcycle and ATV riders. You can spend hours watching them practice this sport. The place has an interesting point of Radio Ridge which is a line across San Andreas fault dividing the tectonic plates. We enjoyed the Beck, Chemise and Hidden Springs hiking trail. Initially it was scary as there was no one else in the area. But with time we felt better as we didnt see any danger there. But prefer going in the groups for hiking here as these are the places less traveled. We also did the Hudner Pass Trail which is a 4x4 recreation trail i.e. Car hiking. This was the unique experience for us. This was the easiest trail here and I would recommend you to do it once. This trail also has amazing views.I also recommend doing the Mudstone Ranch hiking trails which is covered in the same day use fee bought at this park entrance.

2023-05-07 22:31:59My husband loves to come here to ride dirt bikes. Its beautiful in the late winter, early spring.Went on a hike to the Nature Area past the Madrone Camp. It was beautiful along the running stream, especially after the rains of 2023. Take Beck Trail along the stream to Foot bridges or stream crossings. On Hidden Springs, head through shaded areas in the trees and exposed areas along the hillside of sage on Madrone Trail. Lovely views of the valley off this trail. Azalea Canyon is a steep climb or a knee strainer if heading down. Cathedral Rocks didnt give quite the view of the rocks, liky because it was overgrown due to recent rains, though you could see them. Take Hidden Springs towards the valley, away from the OHV area and the path is blocked by a rock slide. Though you can traverse it to the other side to continue to Chamois Trail. I didnt take this one, as I wasnt sure where it went. Though after hiking the rest I believe it might head back down into the canyon and head back on Bird Creek Trail which then takes you back to Beck and eventually the trail head. Hiked for 2.5 hours and never saw another soul. The images are views taken from Madrone Trail.Great place to camp if you want to ride and crash without a drive home. But dont expect to sleep if camping on the weekend. This time a group decided to party until 4am, running the dirt bike at 3am, yelling, singing loudly, pounding on what sounded like the dumpster. I realize this might not naturally be the peaceful crowd, but people need to sleep. Especially if youre going to get woken up early by dirt bikes rolling around

2023-06-12 01:51:03Awesome place to ride. Theres the lower hollister hills thats more for dirt bike quads and razors, Most of the trails are one way. And theres the upper Hollister hills, and thats more for jeeps, 4x4, razors. For a $5 day pass, you get to go into both parks
