Absolutely loved my stay here during my solo trip to Los Angeles!Staff were very friendly and helpful.Whatever needed to be done in terms of housekeeping upon request for my bedroom, it was done.Location was quite convenient for public transportation links to get around LA, convenience stores within walking distance and all the rest of the basics.Hotel has a guest laundry which can be used to wash our own clothing at a low cost.Bedroom had everything: fridge, table lamps, telephone, shampoo, hand wash liquid etc.At the end of my stay, I felt very sad to have to say ‘goodbye’.I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Recently stayed here for 2 weeks with my husband for his work. Enjoyed our stay here. Hotel is older but very clean and staff were all very friendly! Hotel also had guest laundry which is great since we stay 2 weeks at a time. Pool area was nice and clean as well. Area seemed to be a good safe area. Definitely will be staying here again.

Great service and room. I booked a room at 1 in the morning and check in an hour later. The front desk was helpful and understanding. Bedroom and bathroom is very clean and smell pleasant. I had the pool view room so that’s a plus. Would recommend staying.

Very good hotel with nice COLD A/C, hot shower, and fast Wi-Fi! Its also walking distance from a number of restaurants and IKEA of all places! The rooms are quiet, and the beds are very comfortable! The exercise room has dumbbells up to 50lbs and a good treadmill! Theres a restaurant and bar here, too.

We were not happy when we stopped by this hotel and tried to book a reservation. The concierge lady was rude and when we told her we were IHG members she quoted us an outrageous price of $239 for one night for 2 queen beds! I asked if this was the IHG member price and she stated that’s the only price since we only have a few rooms left. This was on a Thursday mind you. We thought the price was too high for what we needed so we went somewhere else.

The most serious problem is people consistently smoking weed in one or even two more of the rooms and the members in the hotel didn’t actually take any actions to deal with this problem immediately. We inhaled the terrible smell all the night till morning. It’s a terrible experience I have ever had.

Carpet is pretty gross and the 5th floor smelled awful. Like sewer. I was first put in a room where the air was broken and stuck to on and the second room it wouldnt turn on at all. Bed was OK and slept well. Breakfast is over $15

Highly recommend not staying here. Fire alarm goes off constantly, within the last 24 hours, fire alarm has gone off over 8 times. Front desk just lies and says it’s a “malfunction”. Fire alarm will turn off and turn right back on.

After reading some of these reviews, I must say I was a little concerned whether I had made the right choice. I booked this room for two nights for our Coldplay concert since we showed up a day before. I must say I couldnt be happier with our choice. Yes, the rooms are a little dated but very clean. The breakfast was great! So far its our second day here and I have enjoyed our stay. If you dont mind staying at a hotel, thats a step below a Hyatt (which I have stayed multiple times). I think its a great place to stay. As for me Im looking forward to tomorrows breakfast lol.

Not too shabby location. Right off the freeway, spent my anniversary there. Great bedding, with an awesome view. Sheets were clean, and pillows were stuffed. Although the food Is crazy pricey, I would advise to stick to the one night and bring your own food. No mess in the bathroom either, water heater works well. It was perfect.

Inside the building was very dated and in need of repairs. In the room the window was warped, so there was a gap that was opened that couldnt be shut. The elevators were super small. I always stay in IHG hotels because of the quality of the place. Unfortunately, this one was not. The staff was very nice and the rooms were very clean, just really dated.

The hotel looked clean but it didnt feel clean. As soon as I got to my room I wiped down the restroom counter and night stands with a disinfecting wipe and it was extremely dirty. The small cushion couch in there had so many mystery stains. The restroom didnt have a working air vent, and the bathtub had hair. The bed was comfortable and so were the pillows.

Had a good experience here with my family. Customer service was very good. They were always friendly and willing to help. We had breakfast one of the days at the in hotel restaurant and it was very good. The price and portions were great. Had an omelette and some French toast; both were delicious.

Stayed there in Sept 2021. Its a very dated and disgusting place. I stayed 7 days, not once did the staff clean my room or took out the trash. The bathroom was falling apart, shower curtain seemed to be years old. The staff never greeted me, smile at me or ask how was my stay, Im a platinum IHG member.Lets just say the entire building needs to be gutted and remodeled.Only good thing is its location. Close to restaurants, shopping and the freeway.I will forever avoid IHG locations in the Los Angeles area and will stick with Marriott.

I have moved 2x. The ladies at the from ESPECIALLY Serena i think is he name(nicest) are all really great for hospitality and customer service. Once because leak in wall, and once on my own to a double bed. Each room has had problems with drain lines, whether its the toilet or shower or both. Really needs to be fixed, NOT patched.

We stayed at the hotel for a wedding over the weekend. The service was excellent and they allowed us to extend our stay multiple times when plans changed. The room was clean and comfortable for a hotel room. The location of the hotel was easy to get in and out of and had plenty of parking. There was a nice heated pool that or room looked out upon. The only things that bothered me were the lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom and the poor sound insulation between rooms.

I use to really like staying in this Holiday Inn. Service is usually very good.However, the hotel is run down on the inside. Most recent stay - carpets on hallways are very filthy and damp looking.The carpeting has many stains and appear unsanitary. The rooms are not well kept. Not because house keeping does not do a good job, but because everything inside is dingy and over used. The new feel and clean look does not exist.Last 2 times I stayed, there were very loud drunk people arguing and fighting. Seems to be a normal occurence at this place.I will not stay here anymore.Felt let down by the old feel. However, front staff are very welcoming and professional.

5 day stay. Front desk was welcoming but more so when we greeted them and asked how their day was going, the day after checking in. Housekeeping manager was on top of the rooms being done. The housekeepers were friendly when we greeted them and helpful when we needed something. My husband thought the bed sagged but my side was fine. Pool was at a pleasant temperature, it being December. Pool area was nicely kept up and inviting. The bedding was tucked in so good we had to yank at it to get into the bed. I would stay there again.

If I could rate them a hundred stars, I would. I booked with them less than 24 hours before our scheduled stay for a birthday surprise for my husband and they nailed it in such a short notice. I requested for the room to be decorated prior to our arrival and although the decorations I bought online came in really late at the hotel, they were still able to pull through amazingly even without air pumps for the balloons. My husband and I loved what they did with the room and I couldnt thank the team enough for all the help and support that I got. Excellent customer service!

I had originally booked a King bed room and when I arrived they told me they were all booked and they gave me a 2 bed queen standard room. Second issue I experienced here Is that the room next to me was very loud in the early morning the people next door kept yelling and banging the wall. I called the front desk twice and didn’t do nothing about it. Third issue I had was room service kept knocking on my door more than once in the morning after having the sign on my door to not disturb, mind you it wasn’t even close to check out time. But overall room was very clean and bed was very comfortable, room had microwave which was a plus.

They had a great selection of both hot and cold foods. The best part about it kids eat free with an adult breakfast buffet purchase! For the rest, its $12 per person, for a not even interesting looking breakfast. The rooms are at least nice. They are clean and well maintained. The bed though is super uncomfortable, kinda hard. My back has been hurting sense Ive slept in it. I appreciate that they have a laundry room but there is only one washer and one dryer, $1.00 per load with one chair to sit in... doesnt make sense. The cleaning service is good. They have a pool but no hot tub. Overall a decent hotel.

It isnt bad and was reasonably priced, but the drain in the bathroom didnt work properly and our room had the heat on full blast when we got there and the AC didnt work. Someone was sent to fix it quickly, but I dont understand how it got to that level of heat after the cleaning crew checked the room...

I was surprised no breakfast was included at all since all the holiday inns Ive been to serve something. The room was pretty clean minus the sticky substance on the nightstand. The shower was clean but the shower head seemed mounted incorrectly as the head stood several inches away from where the mount was supposed to be flush with the wall. Over all ok except the smells in the hallways were disgusting. Maybe a ventilation problem? Decent price made all worth it considering.

It was a nice room, and staff was nice, however, someone entered my room multiple times while I wasnt dressed. I heard the door unlock from across the room, and I barely made it over in time to shut the door on them before they entered my room. Once was 2 hours before checkout, which, although disrespectful, I suppose I can accept as being the cleaning people. The other time, however, was late at night, and I cant think of an excuse for that.

Holiday Inn is always our hotel choice, this one in particular was great. Clean room, clean and comfy beds, pillows were extra puffy and soft. Made our over night stay very easy and stress free. Asked front desk for the biggest room so my kids wouldnt feel so confined and they came through big time! Breakfast was also on point!! Very tasty and fresh, unable to bring the kids down the staff quickly provided to go plates and cups to take back to the room. By far the best experience at a Holiday Inn, Ive used them in all my trips, Denver, San Diego, Paso Robles, Pasadena! With experiences like this you have a loyal customer.

Just recently stayed at this Holiday Inn and could not have been more pleased with everything! This was a great location for us with easy access to all things to see and do in Los Angeles. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The lobby was very inviting and all the front desk staff were so polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet was super delicious and the wait staff there both on the weekend and weekdays were amazing! We WILL use this hotel again in the future. Thanks for a great stay!

An absolute zero! From the staff to the non functioning doors for emergency exits to the outdated and horrible smelling rooms do yourself a favor and avoid this place. While we were there they were attempting to clean the hallway carpets which IMO the dirt is the only thing holding them together. The carpets were left so wet it stunk horribly and then that dirty water was on the bottom of your shoes and tracked into the room and even my personal vehicle. The windows in the room wouldn’t open and when I called the desk for help they said they are made to not open. So in the middle of a pandemic where nearly none of the employees are wearing masks I’m not able to open the window in my room for fresh air. As if all of that wasn’t enough I travel with a service animal, I made the hotel aware on the reservation, I called them after the reservation was made online. I called the day before and the day of arrival along with making sure the desk clerk was aware upon check in. Almost every time I left the hotel or returned I was reminded that they don’t allow pets. I politely reminded them that he is a service animal hence the vest that reads SERVICE ANIMAL. After the 4th time I ignored the staff since on that 4th time some woman chased me down the hallway even though I had already answered the desk clerk. Stupidly is an understatement when describing that woman.

We stayed with family including aged parents for 3 nights and it was a very comfortable stay. The rooms are large and well lit. Services are good. I would like to mention Jose at the Front Office who was of great help to us.Being from India, I wasn’t sure of the commuting from this hotel to downtown and Jose was there to help give detailed instructions. It really helped us get back from downtown to the hotel.I would recommend this hotel to all tourists.Very comfortable stay, I must say!

The only reason why Im not giving 5 stars is because the curtains did not close fully to block out the Sun when you want to sleep in. The ones that could block the Sun are just for show and cannot be shut. The only curtains that can be manipulated are the sheer curtains that let the light in already LOL. other than that the room was very clean and very comfy. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

I thought I was booking at a Holiday Inn Express, which are a constant when I travel. They all seem to operate the exact same way. However, this hotel is in a nice area, just off the freeway and close to good restaurants that are open late, along with a very handy shopping mall a short drive away. Lobby staff was welcoming and helpful. Room was nice. My only complaint would be no complementry breakfast, which would have been helpful to me. I always feel like Im trapped in hotel restaurants as they usually cater to the car-less and desperate patron, and charge way too much for bad food. That may not be the case here, but since I was travelling alone, I skipped breakfast both days since it was inconvenient, which made my days more difficult.

We reserved a king deluxe suite here in West Covina because we enjoy the hotel and the restaurant attached but when we arrived, we were told that there was some issues with the king suite bathroom and we would have to stay in the double queen suite. I called Dennis, the General Manager, and he explained to me that someone refused to tonics their things from the room and he was sorry for the mix-up. I explained to him that we really liked the king suite but would accept the double queen as long as there was some compensation for the mistake. He assured me there would be a discount, but upon checking out we were told there would be a $40 discount for our entire stay of over $5k. I explained to Serena that it didn’t feel like an adequate discount. She explained that it was the only amount that was approved by Dennis. I felt like they could have been more accommodating to us considering the fact that we stayed for 11 total days with 3 rooms for the second time in 8 months. We really enjoyed out stay, I just hope they have the correct rooms available for us next time

I stayed here in June of last year when I went to go visit my girlfriend in Cali. Great hotel, with decent food and reasonably close location to amenities, shopping and transit! Nice and cool AC!The only thing I would improve on is the quality of the food served at the restaurant, but other than that, Ive no criticisms. As far as I can tell, this is a Holiday Inn with its act together.

I stayed a couple of months with my guy.. I did not care for the front desk girls. One Never smiles or looks you in the eyes. The younger robot gal was only friendly with my guy never breaking her stare on him. And I also Caught her flirting with J him once.!. And he eventually told me, he loves the way she drools over him.. so he notices her unprofessional flirting with Another Womans Man. The rooms are o.k. The restaurant is a hair pricey.. they do not give Free breakfast like some Hotels do. I Like the location.

This motel is simply: dirty. Arrived late after spending all day at Kaiser and I was tired. 2 Lumpy Queen beds with a chair shoved in the corner. 4th Floor. Went to get ice. Map in room said ice machine across the hall. NO it was finally located on the first floor. Began noticing the carpet in hall was torn and dirty. Hall smelled like Weed. Room 409 was Hotel, Motel, Holiday Inn. Dirty, Dirty. Bought breakfast in advance and went to get coffee. Charged $7.00 dollars for it and NO ONE Eating breakfast. Skipped breakfast and toured the hotel and ALL THE CARPETING IS BAD. Check photos and Justin Chong front desk supervisor, no apologies, just clean your hotel.

It feels like a cruise ship, mostly because the hallways to the rooms are only a little taller than the doors. Friendly desk staff always greets us when we arrive, and kept muffins at the ready in the mornings (a very welcome addition!) The bed was comfortable and the staff is very friendly.Now the bad stuff.The noise from the freeway just outside my 5th floor window was the worst I’ve ever experienced. I could compare it to having a train going by non stop but add an occasional banging dump truck, lots of semi-trucks and motorcycles. I had to leave the AC fan on to try and drown it out enough to get to sleep.Maybe the rooms on the other side are quieter. I’d recommend asking for a room away from the freeway.

The Hotel is great, it was clean and quiet in the rooms. It is a little bit older but a perfect spot for Los Angeles. You can explore the City perfect from West Covina. You have some space to move around into or out of the City. I wished for a Room upgrade because we stayed for 3 Nights so it would be a very nice gesture for an IHG Ambassador. But we didnt got it. But our stay was great. We stopped on our Roadtrip from Boston to Los Angeles and this was our final Hotel. Highlight was the dope shower that was slightly lower than rest of bathroom floor and included a pull down seat. POOR SERVICE: They made charges to my room that I never made. Someone ordered at restaurant and post to wrong room. I called about it they didn’t help at all. They gave me the run around and then lady said call my bank. I asked to speak to manager but never was available. I must have called more then three times. Finally Justin told me need to speak with manager but they already left for the day. I had no choice but call my bank let them know what was going on. I still haven’t heard back yet from a manager. Poor customer service. Now they have to deal with bank. All could been avoided by fixing problem. So make sure you get final bill to make sure charges are correct.

No I didnt sit there watching like a creep and timing them.The rooms were nice. Could use a few upgrading and what not. The shower on the other hand...not too bad. Just dont expect to use the tub since the drain wouldnt stay shut. And when it was opened all the way...water would build up cause it was clogged.We stayed there for 6 days. So it cant be that bad. Housekeeping only came when we requested it. I dont think they just go in everyday like before in other places.There was a nice sized fridge to keep our food nice and cold, and a small microwave.The location is easy to get to from the freeway, and theres plenty of shops and food close by too.Id stay here again if we were in the area again.

Free parking, free wifi, microware, small fridge, TV, lots power plugs (6 plugs in the Lamps base), and 2 free computers with printers in the lobby. A small gym, restaurant, and swimming pool. Staff are very helpful and friendly. There are lots food, stores, bars in walking distance (eg Hooters, Starbucks, Ikea, Waltmart, TGI Friday ...). Its very safe location. I dont think you can smoke inside.cons: Bathroom has no ventilation. its next to freeway (highway 10), so room facing to freeway could be noisy. Elevator sometime make crazy loud noise that scared my baby.

My bestie and her family (they are member of IHG) they have 2 toddler boys, stayed here since wedn June 21-26 and this just happened yesterday evening around 6pm or so, the young woman had a fight with her husband/bf, and ended up cutting her wrist tried to kill her self, this things happen yes understand that but, for this Holiday inn for not trying to make it up for my bestie family us beyond me, I own a timeshares and is anything, I mean anything, my timeshares will do anything in they possible can to make it up and to make me and my family safe staying in any of the resorts/hotel accommodation, really, jeopardizing my bestie family and others who stay there 😬😡 really I will raise hell to my confront my timeshares or the the IHG company and definitely they need to have some kind compensation for this incident during theyre stay, Im just saying. My besties husband got interrogated since he saw/witnessed what happened since the young womans husband followed them to the room, thats sketchy 🤔🤔😬😡 not happy since so much violence always happening in Los Angeles specifically in SoCal, I love SoCal, but to seeing this ? Not cool!! IHG you do need to do something to these people who stayed here during this incident!! It is only fair !!
