We had the unfortunate situation of staying at this Holiday Inn after staying at one very nice one in Almagordo New Mexico. This one had no friendly staff. The hotel was hot saving on energy so management not leaving air on consistently We were told Management wont do anything unless someone complained, we did complain but nothing was done. It is just terrible coffee and you could probably check back in a year this owner is cutting back on cost where it matters. Air in room is set at a solid 73 with 3 people in a room it gets stuffy but no adjusting worked. Towels were so bleached it they feel like sandpaper so worn you could see through them. For a quick emergency stay this was fine but it doesnt compare to others. Price should be reduced since this doesnt compare to others.

You cannot sleep here because of the noise from next door, completely avoid if you are using this place just to sleep and rest because you won’t be getting that from all the trucks and loaders next door. Staff are wonderful and very helpful, no complaints there.

This was a very clean place with kind people. It was close to a ton of areas just not the beach. It was in a not so busy area too so it was easy to start a journey to visit elsewhere.

The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was what I expected.Having the freeway close is a double-edged sword; Convenient, but NOISY. In addition (on the night I stayed 9/28/23), there was what sounded like the hammering of a 20 (sounded big) diameter pole into the ground noise that kept on for quite some time!!!!That said, should the need arrive, I would stay again if it was close to my destination/intended purpose for visit.

Terrible! I walked into the (unlocked) lobby at around 12:30 AM (i wanted to see about booking a room), didnt see anyone at all behind the counter, etc. So, while i waited, i decided to maybe use the toilet in the lobby, but it was locked. All good! So i went to grab some hot tea...only THEN, did a worker come out, and decided to yell at me for trying to use their bathroom, and stealing their tea (hot water machine and 25 cent tea bags). Then, i informed him i was waiting to talk to someone about a room, and his reply was LOBBY IS CLOSED, WE ARE BOOKED, LEAVE!.Unnecessarily rude. Negative 5 stars. Womp womp.

We stayed for an important appointment at West Sac CDTC DMV. From the beginning the experience was delightful. The desk staff was very professional and courteous! I wish I had gotten her name, she has exceptional customer service. We were upgraded for no fee and she put us onto the IHG membership. The room was clean, the shower had incredible water pressure (resulting in a wonderful shower) and the air conditioner really worked! My husband and I slept VERY COMFORTABLY in the bed. I did notice a few things were 100% in the room, like the temperature control needs a new battery and the microwave is missing a dial, but overall I was very happy with the cleanliness of the room and hotel in general. The breakfast was great. The on demand pancakes are a fun novelty (were used to seeing waffle machines) and I enjoyed the omelets as opposed to scrambled eggs!

The bed and pillows were very comfortable.The toliet was running all night.Make sure to bring ear plugs, especially if your room is on the east side of the building. Unless you are in to the symphonic sounds of multiple trucks backing up starting before 5am. Its next door to a heavy equipment rental place.I will say the service was nice, they got us into our rooms early. Theres hot breakfast available, but I was out before it started :-( it smelled good though.

This hotel was about what I was expecting given that its a Holiday Inn Express and the prior reviews.Check-in was a breeze and parking in the underground garage was simple at the end of each day (there was plenty of parking). I appreciated that the elevator went to the garage and was secured with a keycard.Breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30am, but was always out a little beforehand - I didnt try going down too much earlier to see what time staff started to set things out. Point is: everything was available by 6:30am, which I appreciated. The food itself was adequate and the coffee readily available.The room was comfortable and utilitarian. The desk chair and side chair showed quite a bit of wear, but I really didnt care at the end of the day. The bed and pillows were really comfortable, which to me is the priority in any hotel room.Overall, if youre staying in the Sacramento area (or cant find a hotel in Davis) this is a really great option and worth checking out.

In an industrial area, so it was not conducive to walking outside. The staff was really nice. The room was satisfactory, however there was a major leak from the soda vending machine outside our room (water from the refrigeration unit) that had the carpet soaked in front of our room and tracked into our room when you walked through the hall. You had to pass it to get to our room...

Despite the reviews of this place, its not bad. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. We had the 3rd floor viewing the freeway and the two gas stations. The restrooms had the proper amount of shampoo, soap, and towels for me and my dad to use. Its close to a shopping area like IKEA and others if you ever need to go shopping, and you also have main Sacramento to visit if you ever want to see things.The only thing that sucked was that the toilet was clogged before it unclogged itself the following morning. Aside from that, it was a great experience. Ill book here again if I have to.EDIT: I added a picture.
