Location was a perfect location close to business conference. Breakfast area was large and plenty of assorted options. We decided to go to a mom and pop place for dinner one night and absolutely loved Ray Chicken and Fish. Very close to the hotel.4 miles from Airport.The room had a large closet with a good iron and ironing board, desk for work, and plenty of space to move around. Larger bathroom.Very relaxing stay and would book this place again in the future.

The hotel is clean and nice. Yhe water pressure is horrible. The check-in process was brutal. Extremely slow and non engaged. The gentleman was very nice, but he took 17 minutes to check in the two people in front of me, and then he had me standing there why he called someone about other business. It was just very odd. It was like he forgot I was there to check in. He finally gave me my room key once he realized he didnt finish checking me in.

High praise to the staff at this hotel.Freeway was being worked on and the sound of a truck backing up was continuous after 9pm during my stay.Still I was able to rest and continue my drive the next morning.Sweetheart of a person running the breakfast area.

Stayed at this location while working in the area, and its a good place to stay if youre in the area. Theres plenty of parking (10.00). The facility was fairly clean, and the rooms were well kept. The front desk was very friendly and welcoming. Id definitely rebook at this property if in the area.

Worst stay ever at a Holiday Inn. Some how got charged for 3 rooms and there was an event scheduled that not only blasted music so loud it could be felt and heard on the second floor, it also took up all parking. Worst stay ever...

Nice rooms and everything looked clean. Breakfast was mediocre, and they charged $10 per car per night. Coffee was ok with an after taste of mold. Lastly, they didnt have their famous omelettes, just very scrambled eggs.

Nice place. Clean.But I called and asked if they had truck parking . I asked 3 times. They told me they did. They dont. Wanted to charge me for 8 parking spots, only charged me for one. They do not have truck parking and should not be telling people that they do.

I had an enjoyable stay. The room was very clean, and towels were refreshed daily. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable. This was a work trip, and the hotel worked well for it. The only down side there was a highway nearby, and the noise was somewhat problematic all night long. Also a construction site right next door contributed to noise. But otherwise a pleasant stay and good service.

I wish I could be writing a review as great as everyone else however my experience was different. I will say that from what I saw it was very clean. My boyfriend is an IHG employee and he booked at room for us. I had to leave a day earlier so he made sure to put my name on the reservation so I can check in without him. He spoke to someone and they told him that I was able to check in. We get there and the manager Singh told me I couldnt check in because I wasnt an employee. I explained to him that I was on the reservation he said I wasnt. I pulled up the reservation to show him and he wouldnt look at it. I told him that I had driven 12 hours with my 9 year old son to get here and I didnt have anywhere else to go. He didnt care. He said I could reserve a room for $179 but I told him my boyfriend had already paid for the room. He said it wasnt paid for. I asked for the manager he said he was the manager. I asked for a corporate number he said I can call but the calls just gets routed back to him. I called my boyfriend and he reached out to someone and they said yes I can check in. Singh then says we dont do it at this location. Then he turns around and says they charged for the room this morning and he will cancel the room and refund the money. They never even took the money out. I am embarrassed for IHG to have someone who lacks empathy, professionalism, and good customer service. My feelings were very hurt because he had a smirk on his face throughout this whole ordeal. Im upset that I even had to give 1 star.

Avoid this location at all costs. Under renovation, across the street from the freeway, another building under construction to one side and another hotel under renovations to the other side. They charge for parking in a small lot that is a mess and cluttered with building materials and discarded furniture. Stairwell and emergency exit cluttered with more building materials. Some exterior doors dont work. The food was cold to barely warm. Most of the front desk staff were super rude. The room had various unpleasant smells from straight bleach in the bathroom to a musty smell of the bed/linens.Tip, if you are completely Desperate and have to say here...the light switch for the light in the top of the wardrobe cabinet is embedded into the side of the cabinet. Since its so new, staff couldnt help because they werent told where it was. I heard other guests were having the same trouble. Terrible management.

This place was remodeled so the rooms were nice and clean and new. The staff was super nice and helpful. Just a quick overnight stay here for work but definitely a good spot. Only downside was not many restaurants within close walking distance. Other than that it was a great deal.

Whenever I visit Sacramento and I want to stay overnight this is a place to stay and stay overnight at rooms are very clean. They don’t have a bad smell and everything just looks clean the hallways and well lit. They have a big dining room area for breakfast in the mornings and they do serve a light continental breakfast.

Not bad at all. First time staying in a Holiday Inn. It was conveniently located, close to the golf course (I was attending event there) which is nice and has great rates.Rooms are clean, well sized and the staff was pleasant.Beds were okay and bedding/towels could be nicer, but then again it’s holiday inn.Great spot for business travel or if your staying one night.They offered a full breakfast when we went which was prior to the new covid communal food restrictions. That was a plus when traveling with kids.

The staff were amazing and the rooms were sparkling clean and freshly remodeled. I was in Sacramento to deal with a family medical emergency and the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful throughout the week I stayed here, and on top of that, they were patient and understanding with my mother who has Alzheimer’s. Overall awesome experience, would definitely recommend.

I dont know much about the area really. My room was newly remodeled and was beautiful. I was fortunate enough to mostly work with the evening front desk lady and although I dont remember her name I have to say how fantastic she truly was. She made everything during my week long stay that much better because of her personality!! This location is so very lucky to have her as an ambassador!

Wouldnt let us check in online. Manager Swam was very rude, and lied about when our card was going to be charged. This was going to be our first stay at Holiday Inn. We couldnt make it on time due to a broke down car. Called hotel, they said sorry and quickly charged my card anyways, right after hanging up. So much for calling them, they probably resold it and earned double. Swam said that the cards get charged at 6pm. This was untrue, they charged right after I spoke to them at 9pm. Very shady

Good service. Courteous staff. Modern decor. Clean room. Location centrally located to every place we needed to go. Of course the area is a bit noisy with traffic and nearby construction but that didn’t keep us from having a good time. Next time I am in town I will look for an excuse to stay here.

The hotel itself looked pretty good from the outside but I quickly found out they are currently doing renovations and remodeling on the third floor. (The same floor my room was on). I constantly had to contend with the smell paint, sawdust and whatever chemicals they were using. I was not told ahead of time of the ongoing/active renovations and if I would have known I probably wouldnt had stayed here. Also my room on he third floor had no hot water which I only discovered the day I was checking out when I tried to take a shower. I brought this to the front desks attention and they seemed concerned and apologized but didnt offer any sort of compassion or compensation for my hardship. Overall I was very disappointed in my stay as they was a lot of repairs and renovations being done thru the hotel and things just seemed disarray. Not a bad hotel there was just too much going on for me to really enjoy my stay.

We stayed here for four nights in early December.My kids loved the amazing breakfasts, especially the automatic pancake maker! I was grateful for a great selection of whole wheat breads, bagels, and English muffins, even gluten free bagels. The breakfast staff was so friendly and kind too. The breakfast room is called The Great Room. It actually feels like a comfortable living room.Our guest room was comfortable and the bathrooms as well as beds & linens were clean, with super fluffy & comfortable pillows.The TV worked well and the mini fridge was larger than many other hotels weve stayed in.On the critical side, our bare feet got a bit dirty so the carpets need to be cleaned. The room was a bit dark at night and could have used a brighter lamp by the TV or desk. We wanted to go swimming, but Sacramento was having a cold spell and the pool didnt seem heated. The treadmill in the Fitness Room was out of order, but there was a sign indicating we could use the fitness room in their sister hotel next door.Unfortunately, the front desk was difficult to reach on several occasions, sending us in circles of recorded phone menus and eventually hanging up.This is something that definitely needs to be changed.Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I liked this hotel. The reception was excellent. The room were clean and spotless. The 3 stars are for the parking spaces. They should make these other guys drive a truck with the trailer and a big utility trucks park out on the street. Instead, they parked in the lot taking up 4-5 parking spots. Yes, I end up parking out on the street.

My husband and I stayed here last night, and it was everything that I expect in a hotel stay. Clean from the rooms to the lobby to the elevator. Friendly service regardless of who was at the front desk. Comfortable beds that leave you well-rested. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, they are unable to offer breakfast, but they still provided coffee with different sugar and creamer options. We will definitely be staying here again next time we come to visit.

Due to the power outage me and my family had to go to a hotel for at least the night. The staff were nice and friendly in a robotic scripted kind of way but that’s better than the alternative. I bought the room through a 3rd party (Priceline) and was not informed until check in that there was $150 hold on a few card. I was a few dollars short and they wouldn’t let us do two cards. By time we actually get a room there was noisy kids playing in the hallway and adults being loud in the rooms. It was 10pm on a school night so we requested another room on another floor so my children could sleep. Took awhile since the disturbance. When asked for a later check out I was informed it’s $10 every hour after 11 until 1pm. This is very inconvenient due to everything going on and with the blackouts lasting days. My overall experience is not good. This hotel seems to squeeze every dollar out of you. Don’t come here. I won’t ever come back it’s not worth it.

I enjoyed my 2 night stay here. The hotel has staff that are extremely kind, especially the young girl that checked us in. She was beyond friendly, kind, and informative. The hotel is clean both inside and outside and the hotel itself looks appealing from outside. The continental breakfast was also nice, it was a selection of both hot and cold food items. I would definitely stay here again.

Honestly I am 😳 for IHG to be associated to this property. Its so old. Its not well maintained. The rooms smell like old cigarettes similar to a cheap Vegas hotel room. The carpet is questionable on the last time it was cleaned (its also torn and not maintained). The bathroom has no fan or ventilation and no way to prop the door open as its hinges keep it shut. Rooms overall are dim. I found it actually easier to leave the TV on and just mute it when not needed than it was to use the remote and TV as its so hard to control and really just frustrating. I never once saw a security guard. The breakfast was marginal... juice dispenser and water fispenser broken. Even the sales office door was open one day and honestly the fact that anyone can work in that overly cluttered room is beyond surprising to me. The chaos of the office shows an idea of how organized this group is. As a frequent IHG and HI Express visitor there is a level of expectation that properly maintained properties have created. I book with IHG and Holiday Inn Express because I thought there was a minimum expectation of quality but this is false advertisement with the name.. I would revoke the franchise rights if I were IHG. Its a disgrace. The gym equipment is broken and I was super confused by carpet in the gym especially because again I highly doubt its ever cleaned. Water cooler in gym not refilled. With all the time of covid seems this property really could have gotten a face-lift of some sort. It took 3 days for the dirty towels in the gym to be changed out. The signs say you must wear a mask (and the breakfast lady tries to enforce it but she doesnt even have spares) but the front desk does not wear masks. If it is a rule all should participate in that to I clue staff. The lobby bathrooms could use some attention as there is no soap even in them so who cares about masks if you cant wash your hands. Overall its a poor quality IHG property that I would shy away from next time.

The customer service is good here, all very friendly. The Continental breakfast is decent. The room was clean and well appointed. The reason for the 2 stars is because the bed is so hard and the pillows so soft theyre like sleeping on nothing. I have literally never had such a bad nights sleep in my entire life. I was tired and started trying to go to sleep a little before 9pm. However, I didnt actually fall asleep until around 4am and slept no more than 20 minutes at a time for a grand total of less than 2 hours. When I decided to get up my neck hurt so badly I ended up driving to the store to purchase a pillow for my next 2 nights because I couldnt even bare the thought of another 2 nights like that. I would never stay here again just because of how bad their bed and pillows are, I NEED SLEEP! Not to mention, this particular hotel was right off the freeway and the windows offer no insulation so it was extremely loud all night as well.

Great experience. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Room was clean and exactly what I paid for. Theres a mini fridge and microwave in every room. They gave your choice of fruit and a sack with a granola bar and pastry with cold bottled water for breakfast due to covid. For the price, you cant beat this.

The hotel rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel itself is not large, but that provides a more intimate atmosphere. Room cleaning does a good job, and the free breakfast provides quite a few options. There was the smell of weed in the hallway, but I do not believe this is the fault of the hotel or staff. A Wonderful Stay!We had a conference at the Holiday Inn Cal Expo with easy access to the highway.The best part was the people. Everyone was kind and helpful every step of the way.we enjoyed clean bathrooms and sleeping rooms. We had a comfortable conference area and support through it all. There was plenty of coffee and breakfast in the morning.All together a comfortable place to stay!

The room was very nice and up-to-date the only issue is that the bed sags on the side my husband slept on. The security was great and I felt as though my things were secured while I was asleep. The laundry was a bit High, $2 to wash and 2.50 to dry. I kind of expected to place to have a bar or some sort of nightlife the price was anywhere from 100 to $145 nightly. The room was set up for business, which I liked and it was right up my alley. I also like the fact that they had a variety of channels to include HBO and all of the other fancy channels that I do not get to watch while Im busy working for the week. The reason why I didnt give it 5 stars is because the laundry was high priced. However the continental breakfast was excellent and I would definitely recommend.

They are not affiliated with holiday inn! Private owned. We payed for the room through our HIG membership app. But they refused to give my 20yr old daughter the keys to our room, so she was forced to sleep in her car next to the freeway even though our room was already paid for. Honestly if it was your daughter put in harms way what would you do. We had made the reservation for 2nights and 3 days as we had a volleyball tournament my husband was working at. We let the night manager know we would be showing up late to check in. We shot straight to the tournament as it started at 730am and got out of there close to 7pm showed up to the hotel and found out they canceled our reservation for not checking in at there specific time which their policies are not on the HIG membership site. We were charged a fee for the cancelation they made without contacting us or our consent we were charged for the the first night as well, over 360 dollars was charged to my act. For their false advertising of being a holiday inn. They refused to reimburse us and stated no one would help us only they could help us as they share no affiliation with the corporate chain. We were forced to pay for another night due to no where else to go for the night. Horrible room the shower had rusted screws sticking out as one of the shelves in the shower was damaged. Tv was not set up for use. In total for one night in a double Queen with pull out couch costed us 530 dollars and my daughters safety and the worst weekend with a hotel ever!!! Do not book there do not stay there! Frauds!!!! I would put negative 10 stars if I could!!!! Horrible just horrible!!!

Our car got broken into the first night. this is a horrible area to stay in unless you want your car broken into. the hotel doesn’t even have any sympathy or try to help. didn’t even sweep up the broken glass after we told them what happened. their breakfast was worse compared to other hotels that serve breakfast for free. no pancake or waffle maker. the service was horrible as well, save your money and take it elsewhere.

Nice facility. Very clean rooms and comfy bed! However, I am lying here wide awake because my 2.5 year old quickly discovered he could reach and unlock the swing bar lock. The lock is unusually low and close to the door handle. Jimmy rigged the door with the ironing board and hoping that keeps him in if he tries to be sneaky in the night.

Our 5 day stay was perfect . We had Morning breakfast with Monica whom was friendly and informative she made sure my baageeeel was cooked perfectly and that I had all that I needed. The front desk was also very helpful. Over helpful on Christmas day when we wanted to order food the front desk went out of his way to find out what was open and gave me about 5 different numbers to try. And even though nothing was open he opened up the store so we could at least get some chips and drink. Everyone here went above for us.

I was just going to leave this rating at just one star but after receiving the passive aggressive response from the hotel itself about no explanation I will answer.I am a veteran. My family and I attempted to stay at your hotel and we called your 1800 number for military veterans etc discount. The person for reservations was rude and I understand asking questions to Covid 19 is a necessary requirement and I agree you should.However this representative was rude, and asked personal questions not really related to reservations and I couldnt understand what she was saying at times. We were going to stay at the hotel while our house was being looked at but regardless it was none of her business. She finally made a reservation I thought but when I went to the front desk immediately after she wasnt much better.The front desk ( medium Height Blonde Ponytail pulled back) said they had no availability and informed I just made a reservation and she said they dont always have the same information as actual hotel. I asked was she sure them she got annoyed and said after 1pm is when they will have availability and theres no way the rooms can be cleaned before and I didnt even ask her all that I just asked if she was sure about availability.So I was tired from sitting in hotel parking lot with two kids being treated rude by your customer service for military/veterans and the when I immediately went inside your front desk was rude as well.I said okay Holiday Inn Express & Suits Do Not Want my business and the audacity of your passive aggressive response about me giving you a low rating but no reason as if Im a liar and flake.You got your reason to read and understand with the rest. Ive stayed here at Holiday Inn for the past month for training. The rooms are clean and good size. However, employees make a huge difference to a hotel. Cen, who works at the front desk, couldnt do more for me. Always says hi and remembers my name, checking in whenever she sees me. She really made an good stay into an excellent one.

My dad and I stayed here while visiting California for my grandmas funeral. The girl at the front desk, I think her name was Cen, was so cheerful and pleasant. I actually enjoyed the check-in process because she was so wonderful to interact with, and she always had a smile and a hello for us every time we saw her. Cen made a difficult trip slightly less awful for me and my dad, and I really appreciate it. The room was nice, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and the hotel provided a crib for my baby to sleep in. 10/10, would definitely stay here again.

Nice, clean room, friendly staff. If you get the rooms in the middle of the building, you dont hear the traffic noise. Just, beware of people putting their stressed, crying little kids in the pool. Its outdoors so the noise carries. It is close the malls,grocery and restaurants. Good deal for price and location. I did not see any homeless or users around .

My room was very clean and very quiet. They have an outdoor pool and fitness center. The only con I have with this hotel is that the continental breakfast was just a brown paper bag with a Danish, granola bar, an orange and a bottle of water in it. I understand that is due to COVID19, but I ended up just having to go out for breakfast everyday or order something on DoorDash.

This was probably the best lodging experience Ive had during my trips back and forth between Humboldt and Los Angeles. I had no idea a room could be had at a Holiday Inn Express for the same price as a Motel 6, where I usually find myself... begrudgingly. The first thing that struck me was how immaculately clean EVERYTHING was. Ive stayed in more hotels and motels than I can even recall but this particular hotel outshined some of the bigger and more expensive names at a fraction of the cost. The staff was incredibly nice and just as helpful. I had forgotten toothpaste and the front desk was more than happy to supply me with a packet of Colgate. The king bed was perfectly firm with two down pillows and two cotton filed that zonked my butt out almost immediately. Breakfast was included and wasnt even continental but sadly I slept right up until checkout and missed that perk, it smelled amazing however. In the room youll find everything you need and nothing you dont; pod coffee was provided and was exactly what I needed this morning. Overall I was stupidly impressed and will be booking with them again in the very near future for my return trip.

Horrible service. We booked 2 nights(Fri&Sat) in July 2021 for a Softball tournament . Sat Morning, after breakfast, we came back up to our room and the key would not work. The door lock was not responding at all, completely dead. We went down to the receptionist to let them know our key wasnt working and they didnt know what to do. They couldnt get ahold of the manager and didnt know where the master key was. We were locked out of our room for over an hour which made our daughter late for her softball game. Worst part of it all is NO ONE in that hotel knew what to do in this kind of situation or where the master key was to open the door.Later that evening, we talked to the manager and she did apologize for the situation and the lack of training in her employees. She mentioned if we signed up for their rewards program, she would put points into our account for a free night stay at another Holiday Inn. THIS is how I left my room. I paid $146 with tax for the night. They charged me over $480 because they said I left the room in horrible conditions. As you can clearly see in the pictures that is untrue. We stayed there a total of 19 days.Due to unforeseen circumstances we unfortunately extended our stay at the hotel on five separate occasions and we were charge $100 deposit each time. Which in and of itself is absolutely ridiculous the deposit should be charged one time. I could see if we moved rooms perhaps that would be justified. That wasn’t the case, we stayed in the same room our entire stay from when we checked in on August 29th, 2020 until Checking out on September 17th 2020. Today is September 25th 2020 and we are still waiting For our deposit. We have called the customer service line only to get the runaround from representative to representative, manager to manager, with everyone saying that they couldn’t do anything. When we did get someone to listen they didn’t do much other then to say that they will get the manager for that hotel to call us back. We are still waiting for that phone call.Here are just a few of the issues that we had to deal with. Firsty it says that there is complimentary breakfast. False! What you get to do is go downstairs to the reception desk where they give you a paper bag with instant oatmeal, a banana, along with a side order of attitude from the receptionist every single time. We never had clean towels unless we went downstairs and basically force them to give them to us. Even worst in order to get clean sheets we had to take our dirty towels and linings downstairs ourselves. Not something you normally do when paying to stay at a hotel. Those things are typically done for you. I don’t know if this is normal practice but we were woken up on two separate occasions and asked to move our car so that their maintenance could do some work. This was at 7am. We had Ask the front desk to please tell the people that were playing their boombox all hours of the night to turn it down. After hours and hours it appeared they never did ask. I had to go downstairs myself and get into a confrontation with people that were not even staying at the hotel so that we could get some rest.My wife is 29 weeks pregnant and she had a little bit of an accident in the bed. She was very very upset and embarrassed about it. She did not want me to know so she call the front desk who told her to give it to the cleaning crew. So she then discreetly took the sheets out and gave it to the cleaning lady Informing her of the situatio and telling her that she does not want me or anyone to know And how embarrassed she was. What do they do? They then proceeds to take the sheets out of the bag in the middle of the hallway giving my wife a lecture on cleanliness. I’ve never seen her so upset and embarrassed in my entire life. The poor thing was crying so hard she could barley breathe. I asked her what was wrong and she wouldn’t tell me. It wasn’t until later that night she managed to tell me what happened. Needless to say I am outraged! There are so many other things that happened at this hotel. we had a nightmare this day and it does not look like the holiday in express will be doing anything to apologize or make any of this situation right. I don’t recommend staying there to anyone.Can anyone PLEASE tell me if this room should be Considered left in horrible conditions and should be charged over $480 for damages?

Its a nice enough place to sleep and stay, breakfast was good but aside from that not too exciting or good. Staff was friendly but the only redeeming thing about the location was its proximity to the freeway. Felt safe the entire time as well so if you just need a room and a safe place go for it.

On the day our brother died of covid-19 we walked into the hotel to find a man at the check-in counter without a mask, picking his teeth, touching the counter and utilizing the credit card machine. No wonder California has so many covid-19 cases. We couldnt believe masks werent mandatory. The staff are nice, but the sound of the heater was so loud, you couldnt hear the TV when the heater kicked on. Traffic was noisy, and the TV reception kept freezing and tiling. We only stayed because wed been up since midnight after receiving the news of our brothers death, we had been driving 16 hours, and my sisters son made the reservation. We were exhausted. Its about a 15 minute drive off the I-5. The rooms are large and appeared clean, but the refusal to enforce the mask-wearing rule tells us this hotel is not safe.This occurred on January 8, 2021 at approximately 3:30-4:00 p.m. The man who was maskless completed his check-in process.

Over 60 guests stayed at this hotel Nov 7-9, 2014 for our sons wedding at the nearby Haggin Oaks golf course. We have nothing but praise for this hotel and its staff. We worked with the hotel manager Monique regarding prepayment of some rooms for out of state guests. The staff was very accommodating to allow family members to congregate and reunite in the large breakfast/sitting room in the evening hours. Marta, in charge each days breakfast, was attentive to all guests, even going to the extra effort to make for more gravy for the biscuits. The hotel also provided a shuttle for our guests to the golf course wedding. We received feedback from our guests that this hotel helped to create a very memorable destination wedding weekend.

The location was in a commercial, outside of town location. Only about 8 minutes from downtown so it was OK. Our room was pretty standard, nothing to complain about or rave about. Everything was as it should be. Upon check in things were a little rough. There was a young girl who, we found out later was on her first day and hadnt been trained to do anything. She was alone at the front desk and kept saying, as new people would enter the lobby, the one who can do this is upstairs with a customer We waited nearly 20 minutes as customers came and went hot and irritated. I cant blame her because she wasnt fully trained. The manager should have never left her there alone. Other than that everything was fine.

Was there for a conference, no hello or greeting while coming in. Coffee in the main hotel if you looked hard enough was 3 dollars for all day refills. I paid but no one else that was using it did! Tons of conference attendees were drinking for free all day. The front counter seen them and said nothing. I am just more honest than most. I give this Holiday Inn Express a ZERO!! I ONLY gave a ONE STAR because this app wouldnt allow me to post unless I added at least one star !! Not only did they harrass me on the way in to drop off RXS for my friend and demand my Identification just to inform me that the person in the room I was going to wasnt ALLOWED visitors!! NOT ONLY.... but a few days before the management locked me in the elevator for over five minutes! When they finally decided I was ALLOWED to leave and opened the make shift door with prices of ice cream stickers stuck all over it, the five or six maids and maintenance seemed less then concerned and had no explanation of why the elevator malfunction happened, in fact a few of THEM were chuckling under their breath. The check in receptionist I dealt with the 2nd time were out and out bullies!! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL and obviously NOT concerned!!! I was looking to rent a room for future dates and this is one hotel I WOULD NOT pay to stay at. Also, on my first experience with Holiday Inn Express, a gentleman was exiting the business also complaining of poor treatment by the hotel staff. ZERO!! ITS A NO GO!!

The Receptionist, Cen, was extremely courteous and friendly. She provided excellent customer service and explained everything to me in full. After being tired of La Quinta and Motel 6, we wanted to try something different. So we booked online and got $80 a night for 3 nights. This is a very decent place that has lots of amenities and then some! You have a nice flat screen TV, Lots of plugs to charge your stuff on or charge your phone, a Keurig Coffee maker, spacious room space to relax and do whatever...High Speed Wifi is the cream of the crop at this place, its not like some crappy Wifi that you get at a basic hotel, it has decent speed enough to do gaming on it if you want. And its free during your stay.Microwave and fridge? Check and check!The staff are wonderful here too and helped us get extra things of items we needed such as coffee and an extra pillow.Breakfast is very nice too, you can have Biscuits and Gravy, Pancakes, Cinnamon Rolls, cooked ham, its very delicious!As far as being accessible to places to dine at, etc, you really do need a car and a GPS in order to navigate the area, you will easily get lost without these essential items. There are literally so many turns in this area within each other, we got lost quite a few times.All and all... This place has really treated us well and has served our needs. After XMAS, were heading home back to Hayward........If youre tired of the cheap motels in the area and want something different that is clean and full of amenities, please give this place a try, we really think you will like it!

So I just had my first really interesting experience in Sacramento. This was really brilliant on my part but Im sure you will get a laugh.I get checked into my hotel and I decide I want to go get a six-pack and just chill because I have to be up really early for a wedding the next day. I see that theres a 7-Eleven thats two blocks away and I thought it would be a good idea to walk down there at about 11pm at night.I get about one block away from my hotel and I realized I had made a major mistake of walking to the 7-Eleven in this kind of neighborhood. But at this point Im already committed to it so I continue my walk.I walk up and this chick hops out of her car and shes bumpin E 40, she leaves her door open and C walks all the way from her car to the 711. And at this point Im like oh f#%in hell no.I go in, buy my beer and decide its probably better to just call an Uber back to the hotel. Thats when the crack head in the bathrobe came up and started asking me about where Im from and if I knew her (which I obviously didnt).Me and my Uber driver had about 3 minutes together and we both had a good laugh about what had happened. He got a 5 star rating but Im only giving this Hotel 3 and it has nothing to do with my 7-11 experience, its because they use powdered eggs for their continental breakfast were gross and their workout room was tiny and unsatisfactory.Even if those were on point, the best I could probably have given them was 3.5 stars. But since its a whole star system, I dont feel generous enough to upgrade them to 4 because of that crazy 7-11 experience.

Yesterday I put my EDD card on file for one night. I had a family problem went to my aunts house came back to check out and I noticed that my card was still being charged for another night but they went up there and didnt clean but they did clean how to talk to a manager and supervisor who ever. Theyve been trying to call the cops on me after charging me for another night from charging me with extra. Ima get mine back

This might have been a nice place 20 years ago, they tried to remodel but fell painfully short of living up to Holiday Inn standards (which arent all that high)10 minute wait in elevator (and 90⁰)110⁰ stair wellsBlack out blinds made in Switzerland (must of been because they resembled swiss cheese)No circulation in the bathroom, stayed hot and muggy the whole stay (4 days/3 nights)Ill never stay here again.

Customer Service is horrible, very rude and untrained management, place is falling apart, really old and not maintained properly, I had to go to Home Depot and buy some pliers so I can turn my shower on. I was here 2 nights and shower issue was not resolved, and no one seems to care about it.

The only thing I dont like about the Holiday Inn is that its right by the Marriott and the Marriott cost a little less but theyre both comfortable I suppose theres no breakfast either but theyre perfectly good hotel which is why I look at the stars but space that you can get a way better deal off Priceline express deals
