I would have given 5 stars on everything but when we got home I saw that they charged us $50 because they said the duvet and towels had some dirt on them....Im guessing they dont use very good quality detergent??? Its DIRT. My daughter was there for softball tournament and sat on the bed for a minute before she realized she needed to change out of her uniform. Over 20 years of staying at hotels and Airbnbs and we have NEVER been charged for dirtying the duvet or towels, etc. Might not want to stay here if theyre going to nickel and dime you over something like that.

This hotel must be financially hurting since they charged my card $100.00 (3 times). I called the hotel and they said my son and myself had damaged the entire room LOL! I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and never had an issue and NO, my son and I didnt damage anything! Left the room in perfect (CLEAN) shape! My creditor did a chargeback, so I got all my funds back and they are LEFT WITH NEGATIVE FEEDBACK AND ADDITIONAL CHARGEBACK CHARGES!!!! WARNING!!!**DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL**** THEY WILL CHARGE FOR HIDDEN/CLAIMED DAMAGE FEES!!!!!!! HORRIBLE!

The hotel failed to meet expectations, with several disappointing aspects. Firstly, the lobby lacked air conditioning, resulting in an uncomfortable temperature of 83 degrees Fahrenheit according to the thermostat. Furthermore, the parking lot reeked of urine.Additionally, upon entering my room, I discovered a visibly stained duvet. The breakfast options were subpar, and the absence of body wash or soap in the shower was inconvenient.Overall, my experience was unsatisfactory. I cannot recommend this hotel and would not choose to stay here again.

Easy on off freeway hotel with nice large clean rooms. Was a big black hair in the tub, but otherwise clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was better than most “free” ones, but I would not serve the sausage or eggs to my guests. Within walking distance of a Convenience store and a really good taco truck called Tacos La Enseñada.

If I could give less than one star, I would. Do not stay at this hotel!! We checked into the hotel at ~6:30 pm. Within an hour some stranger was able to obtain a key to our room from the front desk staff person. We had the door latched. So, when the person opened the door it jammed. Still we heard the person trying to force the door open. When my husband confronted the person, the excuse did not make sense. The front desk staff person would not put us in contact with the manager. Instead, she claimed that her name was Rebekah and that she is the manager. Dont stay at this hotel. It is not safe.The next day, I spoke to the actual manager of the hotel. She said that her name was Araceli. She confirmed that the evening front desk staff person is not the manager and that her name is not Rebekah. Therefore, I can deduce that the staff person lied to us. The manager spent time defending the employee. However, it was clear that the employee had lied to her as well and stated that she was proactive in reaching out to us about the keys and that it was an honest mistake.After I stated that with the all of dishonesty of the evening staff person that I suspect it was some type of coordinated scam, the manager slammed the phone down and hung up on me.

This hotel will ATTEMPT TO CHARGE HIDDEN FEES AND CLAIM YOU DAMAGED A ROOM! I had to reach out to a creditor to complete a chargeback case on these guys! Needless to say, I did receive all my funds back in full, and these guys are left with nothing other than negative feedback and fees associated with the chargeback my friendly creditor completed! LOL! DO NOT TRUST THESE JOKERS!

10 minutes west of Morongo Casino there is this name brand hotel. It looks clean and decent in the outside as well as the inside. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. For the price you are throwing away money and might end up driving back home. They don’t charge your card on file when you book the room before so make sure to bring that exact credit card to check in, as for business travelers you might have to seek reimbursement which can take weeks. They also can cancel your reservation without letting you know. Our other party got here long into the night from their road trip and was greeted with a front desk person telling them they are sold out even with their previous booking and their reservation was cancelled. The only solution the hotel company (we went straight to IHG customer service online) offered was to pay the difference to stay at a 5 star IHG hotel with availability for an extra 600$! There is a Hampton Inn by Hilton down the street for the same prices as holiday inn so check that out instead or even pay the extra 200$ and stay at Morongo Casino Resort. In our case we just continued driving into Los Angeles unfortunately and will probably never stay here especially when there are tons of options in Palm Springs to the east. Never had an issue with Holiday Inn but this one ruined the vibes for this company.

Holiday Inn is our go to place. They are always clean and have friendly staff. This however is the first time the person at the desk didnt thank us for being sliver members. The room was clean and smelled fresh. Could have used a do not disturb sign, it was missing. Normal if we are only staying a couple days we dont need them to come in and clean. We just put the sign out. The shower head could use a good de liming it sprayed watter in all the wrong places. But over all another good stay.Great service here. Havent seen a bad room yet

Room I reserved was not available. First alternative room had a leaky toilet. Second room had a busted sink. When maintenance came to fix the sink, they deactivated our room keys! Hotel staff was too busy watching wild card games to help so I called IHG directly. IHG did nothing, and the hotel kicked us out for complaining about their awful hotel.We used our Hilton Honors program and got a much nicer room than anything at this dump, and the staff is trained and kind.After an 8 year relationship with IHG, as a platinum and or diamond member, I cancelled my IHG credit card and will never ever intentionally stay at any IHG property ever again.This hotel is the worst hotel I have ever been to.

I’m a disabled person and needed to use the lobby restroom Urgently before checking into my room when the employee denied my access until I begged for her to unlock the restroom door 4 times she ignored me ! My husband thought I may have an accident on the floor so he grabbed a hand towel off the maids cart near by hen the employee came over and RIPPED THE towel out of hand !, finnaly the restroom was unlocked after I had to demand the door to be opened 4 times. This employee discriminated against me because I am disabled I was humiliated in front of other guestThe worst holiday inn ever!!

Before booking the hotel, we sorted options based on having a spa. This location stated they have a spa. Booked online for 3 PM check-in. Arrived and asked the receptionist where the spa and pool was. She pointed in the direction of where they were. We went upstairs, put our stuff down, changed into our swimsuits, and went to the direction where she said the spa was. Only to find that the spa is closed. Went back to the front And asked her why the wall was closed. She stated that it is open from 10 to 3.I told her the entire reason we picked the hotel was for the spa that we were leaving and would like a refund. We’ve only been there 30 minutes. She said that she would not dispute it to contact Expedia and they would issue a refund. Expedia contacted the hotel and the manager Araceli, who was not even on site refused the refund.I asked the front desk receptionist to contact the manager with us there to explain why she was refusing the refund. At the same time, Expedia was trying to reach the manager and she was not answering. The front desk receptionist got Aracely on the phone and stated that we would like to speak with her and so would Expedia. Araceli said no and hung up on her.This is really the type of customer service you offer. Refusing a refund after 30 minutes and false advertising and then hanging up on your front desk receptionist leaving her to have to deal with the horrible and unfair decision. You made. Araceli should be ashamed of yourself. Good thing I had Expedia on speakerphone and they heard everything. We are seeking a case against Holiday Inn through Expedia to get our refund. Be careful when booking here call ahead to make sure their amenities are open.IHG you should really look for another manager. This one is extremely unprofessional.

Honestly its not too bad considering what your paying for lol. Check in sucked and we waited but it wasnt the front desks fault. Room was clean enough and AC was great. Breakfast was impressive considering the price point we paid. It was buffet style with various items to choose from. All in all its a decent place if you want to budget but dont expect amazing yall.

Would be five stars but taking away one because of no hot water during my stay. I also had to make my own bed when I arrived. The bed had no sheets but found some by the TV and comforter and pillows over by the chair. It was around midnight when I arrived and I was too tired to ask. I wasnt sure if it was something they do in California.

Jennifer the worker has the worst customer service experience was the worst. I arrived a little before 2 and asked to see if I could check in early her response was 3 with an attitude. I returned at 240 and I was going to ask to check in and once again the only thing she said was 3 oclock. The least should could of said was sorry room not ready or some acknowledgement. Then at 3 she said Ill check you in, apparently she doesnt realize she has a job because of the customer.

We ended up here after having to check out of Days Inn down the street due to several issues (please see my review of Days Inn Banning on Google and Yelp).This hotel is like a breath of fresh air in comparison to Days Inn. The staff here are professional and very helpful! The rooms were clean and did not stink. The shower/bathroom was sparkling clean, the breakfast bar was well stocked, delicious and sparkling clean. The only small issue was they forgot to put towels in our bathroom but the woman quickly brought us warm, clean towels. I def recommend a stay here.

We called ahead of time to see if we could check in at 1:30 the girl at front desk said yes we get there and she tells us at 3 we had to wait, the room had ants on the couch are bags got full of ants, the bathroom and the table were the coffee was at had ants I told the front desk she said there’s nothing they can do, my husband left his charger plug in at the wall I called when I got home Miranda said housekeeping didn’t turn one in I told her she didn’t have honest housekeeping . Definitely will not stay there again.

Me and my daughter went here with our disabled dog. Their website said that they were pet friendly so we chose that hotel. Were traveling from a few states away but when we arrived they said they didnt have our room available that we had booked and when my daughter walked in carrying our dog they had said that they are not pet friendly. I drove 9+ hours to find our we couldnt stay there for a night.

I always love to stay at Holiday Inn Express for the price and great breakfast! Unfortunately the one in Banning,CA disappointed me and my family. We had a delay at the check-in counter. The staff said their hotel never honor the one I booked which is paid and confirmed by Priceline. According to her Priceline do not pay them back. Well their hotel should take it out of the Priceline and other affiliates! Anyway, we ended up canceling the Priceline booking and rebooking it directly, good thing is she gave us $10 discount. But the problem is if Priceline will give me my refund! What a delay! We set up in a room, the bathroom sink is clogged (see pictures). The staff offer us a change of room but we already set for the night and tired so we refused. The molds above the shower is bad too (see picture).The front desk at that time is marvelous! She’s very nice and accommodating! It sure is not her fault all of these unfortunate but she stays good to her job.The cleaning lady in the morning is nice too when i informed her about the clogged sink.The breakfast lady is quite grumpy but managed to do her job. Breakfast is always great! The gym and the pool are clean!The management should do something about these concerns and maintain the best quality of their services and rooms.

Tried to use this hotel yesterday. We ended up leaving for the following reasons.First, we had to wait for someone to come to the front desk.Second, they checked us into a main floor room. The room smelled like smoke and musty.Third, they switched us to a new room on the 4th floor. Beds and room seemed okay until I sat down on the bed, and the whole mattress flipped up and almost on top of me. This was the last straw, and we went downstairs, and I demanded my money back and left.We went down the street to Banning for a much better experience hotel. Do yourself a favor and do not go cheap with this hotel and stay at another location.

Wow! I read some of the horrible experiences other reviewers had at this place. So thankful that was not my experience. Ive had the unfortunate experience of contracting bed bugs before from a RESORT in Palm Springs. So needless to say, Im always a little anxious staying in hotels and resorts. My husband and I recently moved to Banning, and had to stay in the hotel for three weeks until our floors and other repairs were completed in our new home. Dina, the manager, Filipe and other staff were extremely pleasant and offered great customer service. One of the things my husband and I observed is that Dina and Filipe would often help housekeeping out with the cleaning. Everyone seemed to respect each other and enjoy working there. The dining area was always clean, the sheets and bedrooms were cleaned appropriately, the gym, and even laundry facility were maintained adequately. I really hope they continue to offer the great services that my husband and I received, as the cleanliness of a hotel is significant to obtaining repeat customers and great reviews.

Room smelled wierd. The pillows were missing pillow covers and the sheets looked kinda dirty. There was a hair scrunchy in the shower from the prior guest. We had to make multiple trips to the front desk to address this. Customer service was good but I wish they paid better attention to cleanliness so it would avoid the trouble of bothering them to fix. Will most likely not be staying here again.

IHG chain & management, I had a very poor experience for someone checking in at 8:00pm.I am not displeased by the alone fact of being forced to wait 30+ minutes, for the person ahead, waiting on the rest of their party to arrive to the hotel. I am seriously displeased with Samantha’s attitude and handling about it.Having waited 30+ minutes so late at night (with show reservations at 9:00 which I made you aware of), your attitude was so poor. Under no circumstance should I have had to deal with so much rudeness and comments about how I need to “deal with it”.To management: You mean to tell me it’s true, “nothing can be done” to check me in, while waiting 30 minutes for the remainder of their party to arrive?You mean your system does not allow you to simultaneously check people or use another computer to get things going, meanwhile this staff member chats on about what beer she most prefers to get drunk?You mean to tell me your staff are not adequately trained to the point where, I can be promptly checked in (on a prepaid reservation) and those waiting for their party cannot just be checked on afterwards?Something is systematically wrong with your hotel or your staff do not carry the kind of important knowledge they should for things to get done. Oh, and I was absolutely late to my personal plans after Ms. Samantha failed to create key cards that worked on top.Believe it or not after a late night, they were deactivated on me again by the nighttime I made it back! Our stay started off by entering a room that wasnt prepped for a stay, the couch and table were flipped as if someone just got done with sleeping in the room. So we had to go back and show the front desk and they gave us a new room. Got all tucked into bed when we woke up the AC had gone out in the room to another room move so we moved rooms in less then 24hr period very inconvenient. When we finally got settled in the 3rd floor was very very hot and it had an odor as smelled if they just did a carpet cleaning, and with 100degree heat it didnt mix well. I would truly say that The gentleman at the front desk his name was Felipe helped us with a friendly smile and felt like he was doing everything in his power to male us feel welcome. But overall wasnt satisfied with the hotel. The last thing that was inconvenient, in the description they had a spa but when we went out to check it out it was cemented in which sucked.

If I could put negative stars I would! Our room had NO towels. When we called down to ask for some, no answer on the phone. When we walked downstairs, nobody was at the desk…we waited for 45 minutes for an employee. Nobody ever came! Our room had RAZOR BLADES on the floor. Hair clumps LOTS of hair clumps in the bed! Nobody cared when we called to bring these items to their attention. We were simply told “Oh yeah, this is common for our hotel. Nothing unusual there!” Management will not call us back and bother to even try to make things right! We paid $300 for one night in the most DISGUSTING and FILTHY hotel ever. This hotel had a really good location if you want to visit Joshua Tree. There really arent that many hotels anywhere near the park. The check in process was way more complicated than it needed to be. It was kind of awkward. We were the only ones there and it shouldnt have taken so long. The breakfast was decent.

My experience at this hotel was exceptional. From the amazing room to the service given not only from the front desk but house keeping as well. The ladies at the front desk, Akia and Araceli, were friendly, helpful and personable and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and welcoming, even after the uncountable amount of times they needed to reprogram or remake my room key because I could not stop locking myself out of my room. The rooms were clean and spacious and house keeping house keeping was very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable quiet and memorable place to stay. Oh, and their breakfast was pretty cool also, eggs, sausage coffee, juice and served with a smile from your hostess- ( wouldnt be a greatreview if I left her out!) Thanks again ladies!1. Recommendation- make your shampoo and conditioner available for sale cause its the bomb.

Good hotel in a not so great area. Had an awkward moment at checking where there was no one at the front desk, yet I heard a child crying in an office and what sounded like a couple squabbling in Spanish. After five to ten minutes of waiting through this, the desk clerk came out and checked us in. I was satisfied with the quality of my room, which more than met the standards of the brand. Overall my room was clean and comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was very good. The price was reasonable for the quality and level of service. Upon checking out, I found that there were several items missing from the back of my pickup. You see, this hotel is not in a very good location, with a lot of transient traffic through their parking lot, which is not well secured. I would stay here again, but there are other hotels in the area I would try first.

I have never been treated worse or more offensively in my life. They overcharged my credit card $317.00 and when I called to speak to the manager Deena it took me a week to actually get her on the phone although there had been numerous promises from other employees that she would call me. We stayed in this dirty hotel a little over 12 hours but were charged a total of $580. When I asked for her bosses’ number she refused to give it to me. I was a restaurant General Manager for 15 years and know what customer service is. This was NOT it. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE OVERCHARGED!!! I am done with IHG FOREVER!!!

The room and the hotel in general was very clean. The main reason for the 5 stars is related to the awesome staff. Every staff person was professional and ensured that my stay was exceptional. I go to many conferences so I am very familiar with hotel customer service. this team should train all hotel staff. Great job Holiday Inn!

We have spent 10 weeks at this motel. We just love the friendly staff. They go out of their way to be helpful. My husband is handicapped. We got a room that didnt work for us. No problem! We had a new room right away. The housekeepers are great too! Breakfast hours are long so you can sleep in and still get food!

Have stayed in many Holiday Inn ExpressHotels and this was the first bad experience. Dirty towel and wash cloth left in bathroom . Long black hair in both the bathroom and in one of the beds. No hand soap which I was told was due toLack of delivery. This location was great! The rooms were spacious and clean, staff was very friendly upon check-in. There was a nice breakfast area as well with lots of food to choose from. The area surrounding is nice as well, with lots of options for food to choose from as well. It was under construction while I was there and I was placed right near construction areas, so it was a little loud but not too bid of a deal.

A Young Man I didnt get his name who worked at night was really Nice and Friendly 🙂 always smiling.The Manager is Very Pleasant and Sweet very Helpful, you seldomly see the managers in other Hotels help clean This Manager Sandra, was mopping I think thats real Team Work.The Ladies in the Housekeeping Department (Marta, Graciela) were Wonderful,Helpful, Always Pleasant and ready to Help with a Smile.The last but not least was Alicia Great Lady, Sweet and Helpful.EVERYONE WAS GREAT!!!I was so excited about letting everyone know how wonderful everyone was that I didnt mention the rooms, When you walk into the Hotel its smells so clean, thats one of the many things I liked they follow the covid-19 rules you know the Hotel is being Sanitized. As we arrived the lady outside looked like the cleaning lady especially how she was dressed... as we passed her she was taking out the trash and putting a clean bag inside she said hello and we walked into the hotel we stood there and looked around looked outside and saw a sign on counter said call 📞 ###-###-#### so I stated dialing my husband suggested I asked the lady out so I asked her if she knew where the receptionist was... she said its me Im be right there 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I told my husband she should have said that when we walked in ILL BE RIGHT WITH YOU instead of making us feel unwelcome she needs to learn customer service! Then the bathroom trash 🗑 was on top of toilet 🤦🏻‍♀️ air conditioner was making a noise like it was a semi truck it woke us up the while night it was terrible room 217! Breakfast was aight just eggs and sausage was hot then in the morning the receptionist asked my husband to wear a mask 😷 but she wasnt and the other employees werent either!!!!! This hotel u only get 2 towels so we had to dry ourselves with the same towel we used last night full of dirt and grease! They have no soap on sink to wash hands u have to use shower soap inside the shower! And no laundry bag inside closet for my dirty clothes! This hotel is very unorganized and over priced almost $300 a night for terrible experience

Efficient and friendly staff. Clean room and exterior parking well lit. Excessive amount of irrigation water runoff is occurring nightly and the bathroom sink backs up. This is not abnormal for high occupancy establishments that have a narrow window of access for the maintenance personnel to clear the drains. The last thing that they want to have occur is to have the drain lines open when clients are in the area due to the often times disagreeable odors that will admit from the pipes same thing that would happen in your home.

BEDBUGS! Worst experience in my life !! Checked into Room # 322 at 3:30pm, by 4am the same night/morning, I woke up scratching and had 6 bites on me from my finger tips to my thighs. Woke up my husband, flipped the sheets & sure enough bugs were scattering! I Called the front desk immediately to report it, we were told the Manager will call us in the morning, no solution was given. Mind you we are 1.5 hours from home. So we packed up took caution while doing so & drove home, our weekend was shot. I have called the hotel all day and all week I have given my name and phone number to 3 different people and no one has called me back, most times I can’t contact anyone I have to call repeatedly before someone answers the phone. The only reason I booked this hotel was because of the great reviews it has. I tend to stay at the Marriott or Hilton and pay the same price. I loved the free breakfast and the friendly staff. I booked this hotel for the pool, but it DOES NOT has a heating system. It was 97 degrees outside and the water was freezing. So cold my daughter was in there for 5 minutes. On their site they say they do have heating, but when I asked the front desk they said they didnt and they where working on it. Overall I will NOT be staying in this hotel anymore.

Parking was adequate, even though the hotel was full. The neighborhood is just fine. I know the small town of Banning / Beaumont and feel quite comfortable. Had an extremely unpleasant experience with the front desk! We booked a 2 queens room through bookings and got an confirmation email of the room type. However when we got the hotel very late and tired, the front desk said our reservation was never confirmed and could only give us king room. We have three people and an ESA dog, there was no way we could fit in a king bed. They said they could cancel the reservation for us with a penalty. It was almost midnight and I still can’t believe they said that. And that was only the first part of the awful experience. The young guy(you deserve a raise or a better job)at the front desk was always trying to help and we waited until another lady was willing to switch her 2 queens room with us. However the other guy at the front desk won’t let my ESA dog in and even accused me of faking the ESA certificate. I was very disappointed bc I called the manager twice a week prior and confirmed that ESA was allowed! The manager said that she left notes to my reservation however the guys at the front desk said they couldn’t find it. And I wasted a lot of time telling them how ESA is protected by federal law and the certificate was NEVER fake. They made a few calls before they could finally let us in.Overall the experience was awful. And this hotel is right next to the free way. The walls are not sound proof, so the noise from the free way will wake you up at night. Have your ear plugs handy if you want to stay there.

Service was good but the room needed some updating. There was a measurement written on the wall of my room 58 1/2, and the bathroom wall paper was old and kind of dirty. Breakfast was a bit wierd as the biscuits they served were barely bigger than a 50 piece, which made placing the party sausage they had into it impossible. Excellence service, friendly staff. Not much going on. We got there early and they let us check in with a free upgrade is to a suite. Hot breakfast came with bacons.Only reason I gave. 4 stars cause the hot tub was down for maintenance repair, pool was cold - not heated and its next to the highway. Wind picked up after 7pm, me and the kids could not enjoy the small pool. It was all they look forward to after a long hot day with an average daytime temp of 100 degree.

The only reason I’m giving this hotel 2 stars is because of the renovation. Normally the hotel is good and there are no issues. Once the renovation started it went downhill from there. It seems like they don’t keep track of which rooms are 100% done and which rooms still have stuff to do. Half the time I stay here I get a room that somethings not working or it’s in mid construction or missing the fridge/microwave. If you are coming here for Indian Wells Tennis/BNP Paribas Tennis or another big event, I WOULD NOT recommend this hotel. The hotel is overcrowded and overbooked during this time and management does not know how to deal with it. The manager is the most condescending, rude person we have ever had to deal with and tried to shift the blame away from herself on us. She also flat out lied to IHG management. Why is such a person working in hospitality?It’s a small dinky hotel, the rooms are below average and the location feels unsafe, but it’s tolerable if you just want to crash for the night. We booked a room, they even called us at 8pm the evening of the booking to confirm it, and when we arrive there the reservation is suddenly canceled. The front desk receptionist, Kathryn, blamed others for the situation and offered minimal help in terms of numbers we can call or reaching out to IHG management or hotels in the area. She could not even tell us why our reservation was cancelled. We have been staying at this hotel for 3 years and the staff does NOT care about your situation. Apparently it was a card issue, but no one called to ask us about the issue. And people checked in after us who still had yet to pay.Holiday Inn guest services was more helpful initially. But they were unable to give us monetary compensation or find us another hotel for the night. We had to drive 2.5 hours back to our house at got home at 4 am. We got grounds passes for Indian Wells that we won’t be able to use now AND THEY WONT REWARD US MONETARY COMPENSATION FOR THEM!With Indian wells and other events in the area sometimes this may seem like the only option but PLEASE look at other hotels around the area like holiday inn Beaumont or San Bernardino. Don’t waste your time and money, because you aren’t even guaranteed a room here after reserving one.

Today when passing a Hilton on a long trip with the grandkids, the clerk at the Banning, CA Hilton holiday inn express refused me access to their restrooms for my 4 year old granddaughter saying that unless I had a room I could not use their restroom. Friendly staff. Some rooms have nice views of the surrounding mountains. Very pretty when theres snow on them. Several fast food places right down the street, including Del Taco, KFC, and McDonalds. To be honest if I were on the corporate team of the Holiday Inn properties or IHD is Holiday Inn properties or IA student I would definitely have her do I would definitely have her do management or training new employees because she and new employees because she is competent and she is on her a game. Im not sure what all of the hype is for... its a 2star hotel but the charge a nightly deposit so get ready to pay that in addition to your stay on check-in. Check-in clerk was rude and her english not very clear. Breakfast ok...No fridges or microwaves in standard rooms... Ill be staying down the street at days, Travelodge, or americas best value as they all rate about that same, cheaper, provide breakfast, no deposit, and have a microwave and fridge.
