Just had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Palm Desert! The newly renovated rooms provided such comfort, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The staff was incredibly helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. They also had a delicious breakfast – a perfect start to the day! Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Palm Desert. Also like to add that it was close to the Living Desert Zoo.

If I can give this hotel any less of a review I would. After a manager was Jennifer or aka Jen talked to me I am disable I asked for a key to get back into my room after my keys stopped working I was told I have to go upstairs. To get them I told her I don’t know where they are and she got up set I went back up to look for them and woke up everyone in room to get in after not finding it I asked can they send new keys up ( she is aware I’m disabled) she informed me I have to now go back down and get new keys because of that I asked her for her name so I can file a complaint in retaliation I was informed that because I want to file a complaint on her now I got 20 min to pack up my room and leave. Another low blow because I’m disabled. Way to go to Jen to help me feel less low able being disable and not able to move as fast as you.

Nice clean location ended up putting my dad and stepmom here for a little vacation when they came in town they were more than pleased. I was more than pleased and that’s all you can ask for a hotel.

I checked in here at the last minute after vacating my original hotel (across the street) due to the deplorable condition of that hotel, to find that this hotel was maybe two steps up. This hotel is in some serious need of upgrades. The front desk people were super kind, helpful and accommodating. Had I not been so exhausted from my experience at my previous hotel, I would have asked for a better room. This was a very old room, the AC was an old unit and I had to turn it off to sleep because it was so loud, then the room got too hot. Both nights I was there, at different times in the middle of the night (1 and 2am), there was a very loud noise coming from the ceiling that kept me up for a couple of hours. The breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast, it was fine.

Do not stay here worst holiday inn I have seen in my life. The first floor rooms feel like a basement in the projects of new york barking dogs smelled terrible. I asked to be moved to a balcony and that room was even worse the view was a power pad and a Porta potty and a horrid noise. This place was just awful the staff were watching us walking around following us. The staff were 2 Hispanic girls who did not like Caucasian women. Were very rude and did not want us there. Save yourself and stay at the new holiday inn express technology dr. Night and day difference.

2 night stay. Elevator was down the entire trip which was fine but made check in and out hard with carrying heavy suitcases.Our room had a blood stain on the door upon check in which was cleaned up when we told front desk. Rooms were average at best.Walkable to grocery store, restaurants and Starbucks.Breakfast had a good variety.Kids enjoyed the pool.

Its super outdated. The bathroom doors dont lock. It has way too much fragrance when you walk in. The beds are comfy. The pillows feel like air. You put your head down on the pill and its like youre straight on the mattress. The body soap was out when I visited. Thankfully I bring my own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I however forgot lotion and went to use the one in the bathroom. When I tried to use it, it seemed half empty, wondering if they reuse it for other guests. The biggest con is that you can hear everything outside the room. I had a room close to the front desk and elevator. When it was breakfast time, you hear people constantly walking in and out the elevator. Would not recommend coming here if you are a light sleeper. The staff are super friendly though. I only had to ask once during my three night stay to have housekeeping clean my room. What happened to those signs with housekeeping on them that you would put on your door before leaving? Havent seen them in any hotel in multiple states. The breakfast was okay. I liked the veggie omelette more than the cheese ones. Way too much cheese in those. Other than that the breakfast is pretty standard. You have the muffins, toast, bagels and the juice. I probably wont be coming back unless they make some upgrades.

Location is good.Rooms are fairly clean, property is a bit dated.The view of the hotels trash, some kind of power/utility structure, complete with portapotty is a pretty odd choice...especially that that is the room you would assign to your Diamond Elite member.Its not checkout time, and I havent notified anyone that Ive checked out, so I cant imagine why someone is trying to enter my room while Im in the shower.
