Clean hotel, good staff, they accommodated 4 families to be near each other while we were there for a swim meet. One family had the alarm in their room going off in the middle of the night which was the negative. I dont believe they got any compensation for losing hours of sleep our last night.

We stayed here for a night when we had a late night event. Upon checking in, the staff were friendly and welcoming. When we got back after our late night event, they had security available in the parking lot to ensure we got safely inside. 🙏🏽 Beautiful and spacious rooms.

They do not honor reward members 2pm check out.There are no microwaves in the rooms. You have to check with the desk to see if 1 of 9 is available.Breakfast is 12$ for one trip or 18$ for all you can eat. General breakfast like other hotels. Nothing special. Not worth nearly 20$

Rooms are fine and clean, but 20$ FOR A BREAKFAST BUFFET? 12 DOLLARS JUST FOR A PLATE? I might as well go to IHOP or a Chinese buffet at that point smhThe cleaning staff is sweet and kind. Had pleasant experiences with the general management, but the higher upside are indifferent. We requested to have our room cleaned every day for medical reasons, and it was initially denied, and we had to go argue at the front desk.

I enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend. The rooms are modern and stylish, the staff are friendly and they have DOVE dispensers near the sink and in the shower. Gone are the days of boutique soaps, shampoo, conditioner and lotions. From a guy who doesn’t like that sticky, oily feeling I’m glad Holiday Inn is using Dove - the stuff I use at home. The bathroom is very modern and on par with newly built homes. The bed sheets and pillows were clean and beautiful and is on the same level as any high end hotel chain. Definitely recommend this Holiday Inn.

A very cozy hotel. My family slept well here. The linens and sheets were clean and comfy. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Check in process was easy and the kids liked the rooms. Plenty of parking., and nice view from the hotel. Currently they’re having 50% off margaritas. The bar area is pretty big for a hotel and is rightly staffed. We had a good time here and look forward to our next visit here.

Nice appearance from the outside. Unfortunately, as soon as you step off the elevator on the fourth floor, youre assaulted with the smell of something terrible. The room was only slightly better. Fixtures and furnishings were updated, however the carpet needs to be replaced badly. So many stains, it was nasty. Additionally, our smoke detector was missing.

My first time stayed at Holiday inn Diamond Bar and as it turned out we will never going back there again, after the 3rd day stayed there without any room service, I have called the front desk and they toll us that we have to schedule for room service (they did not even mention it when we checked in), so I went ahead and schedule room service for the next day, and guess what, no one had showed up. So out of our 7 days duration, we never have a room service, very bad for $159/day, I was very regretted that we have turned down Best Western and used this hotel.

So although the room and location was fine I experienced a disheartening situation which occurred Jan 3rd at 11am .. first check out time is at 12pm here mind you and at 11am I had a maid enter my room while I was naked on bed without knocking I told her I was naked and to close my door she still has my door opened and is harassing me asking me if I was checking out mind you I had A WHOLE HOUR before checkout time and I just got out the shower and was getting ready to leave by noon. This caused me to yell at her saying “GET OUT!” So 2 mins later I get a notification on my phone from chase finding out that they were holding an additional $100 hold on my card plus the original $75 for no reason. I immediately called downstairs to the front desk and was told I was being held a smoking fee because there was a smell of weed in my room. I immediately got upset at this because I was falsely being accused of smoking marijuana in the hotel oddly enough right after I yelled at the intrusive maid. Now mind you I do smoke however I never even brought weed into their premises I do follow the rules and I do not smoke in rooms because I’m well aware of the no smoking policies plus I’m a frugal woman and I never like to spend more money than I have to so I do everything to avoid my room smelling of anything which is why I leave all cannabis related products in the car. Anyways so I stormed downstairs furious at the front desk who insisted I had smoked in the room. Completely sober me demanded that the general manager and another fellow come to the room and see there’s absolutely no smell and not any sightings of marijuana products in the room it was this moment the accusations were lowered after them not smelling any smoke in the room. I demanded that the general manager give me the name to the maid who falsely accused me of smoking. The GM Annie Hsu would not give me any information to her maids and wanted to protect her by all costs because that woman does not deserve her job and she was wrong! Also the staff were wrong for believing all accusations and charging my card without communicating with me or even confirming the accusations were true. Annie’s best explanation for this situation was yes I was accused of smoking weed because the day prior when I checked in I smelled a lil of weed (because I had a long stressful day a decided to hit a doobie in my car before checking in) also there was a smell of weed that I noticed coming from the elevator before I even got on it (I later found out I was also being accused of this too) so they all assumed it was me smoking in the hotel when come to find out it was a young (working lady possibly 🤨??) Caucasian woman who was smoking weed on the property yet I was the one being accused. the situation was not handled properly by Annie and i feel this crew needs to be replaced by trained employees who understands all discriminatory policies and who understands that acting in this way is not tolerated by IHG. annie protects her employees who disobeys the company’s policies. Annie also just simply refunded the extra $100 hold she did not offer me anything else and begged i spoke with her on the matter and not corporate smh

Very enjoyable stay. First, someone from the front desk called before I arrived to inform me of construction which inhibited access from the main road and advised an alternate route. I was really appreciative of that. Room was clean and tidy. I travel to this area for business and will certainly be back!

Stayed here for 2 nights. Other than no free breakfast this place was AMAZING. Everything was very clean in the room and the bed/ pillows were really comfy. The employee working the front desk, Oscar, was extremely nice upon check-in. I would live here if I that was a thing. Plenty of parking. Would stay again.

We booked a king standard, top floor. It’s not really the top floor. At first glance when you walk in, you think “wow, I can get comfortable here.” That’s until you start trying to use the room. The water pressure at the faucet and shower are so low. There’s not even a vent in the bathroom. Obviously it’s a hotel room and it’s not perfect, but I’m not going to sit on a couch with rips and stains in it. On top of that I had to stare at the water damage on the ceiling as I laid in bed. Tried to watch TV and they just use a digital antenna. Their channel list doesn’t match up.

Took a short trip to Cali and decided to stay a little outside of LA... this hotel was great! The room appeared to be recently renovated. It was kinda small but the balcony with pool view made up for it. The room was clean. The bathroom was also. The water was hot and shower drained well. The staff I did interact with were nice and professional. Hotel is near the highway and only about 25 30 min, depending on traffic, to get to LA.I had a chance to have a couple of drinks at the bar. The drinks were reasonably priced and strong. There was an issue with my first drink and the bartender politely made me another.The only suggestion is a smaller light in the room when you dont want to light the entire room and just need a little lighting to move about.Overall satisfied with my stay and would return.

The hotel room is not quite at all. The hotel is located at the intersection of two highway. I actually saw one of the review said that the hotel was really quite. The only thing I could say is that that review is bs. The vehicle noise wont improve as getting to the late night. Its just terrible. BTW, my room is ending with single digit which is facing the highway. If you get a chance, ask to get the room ending with double digit.Last but not least, there are actually a lot of Chinese food and Korean food around which is good.

Very clean, peaceful area, workers are very kind and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, bed is really good, the view we had was amazing, my toddler made it her home away from home. Pool was clean and decent size but the water was freezing, so we got in the hot tub which was like warm and perfect for the sunny weather. I would definitely come back. Thank you!

Stayed for 1.5 months for a project in August and September. This location is well maintained, rooms clean and well kept. The outside patio and pool area are relaxing, lined with palm trees and ample shade. Prices are very reasonable for the amenities provided. For long stays there is guest laundry. $8 wash and dry 3rd floor. Shop in lobby for toiletries and snacks.Food was good, with a surprising amount of options. I tried both breakfast and dinner. Every staff member I interacted with was professional and helpful, Notably William at the front, Carlos at the restaurant, and Annie the GM to solve a change with my reservation. I stay long term at different hotels frequently and recommend this property.

Been to this hotel on several occasions for work. It’s consistently comfortable. Sheets and beds are always clean. Amenities are abundant and the staff is incredibly friendly. You need only ask once for what you’re short on, and they’ll have it to your door in a matter of minutes. I’ll be coming back here frequently as long as my work allows.

The place was clean and sanitized when we arrived. Our room was very cozy and it felt like home. While the pool was too cold to jump in and have a good time, we still enjoyed going in the hot tub. The food was good, though the price range was a little higher than I would have preferred. The linen sheets, for some reason, made my skin itchy. Not sure what detergent they use to wash them, but I would watch out if you have sensitive skin. Good experience overall! I would recommend this place if youre looking to go on vacation for a weekend or two.

When I got to the resort with my family most of the staff was rude but others were doing their job and making us feel at home like Luis g. He made sure we got to our rooms safely while helping us carry our bags there as well as fixing the water problems we had in our room too. He made sure we had clean and dry towels when we went to the pool and he even keeps the pool crystal clean when most resorts are half way clean, and that’s what makes our stay enjoyable. We need more people like luis g who is hard working and determined to make everyone elses day a better day.

The hotel was nice, you can tell its dated, but still nice, we got an upgrade to a room with a balcony which was nice, the weather was cold so we needed a heater but the heater didnt work brought it up to the front desk and they sent maintenance and they fixed it within minutes, they had a hot tub which was amazing, the fire pits are cool as well, the restaurants food is good but pricey. The only thing is the area that its at theres nothing around you, you have to drive to get to places but other than that it was a good stay.

Entirely disappointed with the services provided in relation to the coats. I travel weekly and stay at IHG properties regularly. At this location the hotel provides NO housekeeping service if your stay is less than five nights. I was told to dispose of towels and trash myself by leaving outside the door daily. This felt like i was required to pay for services and told to also provide the services myself. Needless to say, every room on my leaving in the morning had piles of trash and dirty linens outside the door. Absolutely did not meet my expectations, especially for $700 (4night stay). Holiday Inn Diamond Bar you know better and should do better.

I went to stay here because the air conditioning unit went out, and we were expecting triple digit temperatures! The price was reasonable, and the room was very nice and clean. Of course, the air conditioner was great, but the thing I found to be best, was the comfortable bed and down pillows! It was heaven! I would highly recommend staying at this establishment. Really enjoyed my stay here! The beds and pillows are super comfortable. The pool was huge and the Jacuzzi was nice and cozy. I didnt give it 5 stars just because there were a few cons. First, the water pressure for the showerhead was very very low. Second, the hallway noise was actually pretty loud. I could hear everything from housekeeping grabbing items, to people walking by or people talking on the phone. I can usually block these sounds out, but at this hotel, its pretty loud. It was overall a nice stay, I would come here again! The hotel is on a hill, so they view is really nice.

My score is based on the conference room and the services provided for meetings. I did not stay in a hotel room so cant score that. Very impressed with the hotel! Not what I expected for a Holiday Inn but this place can compete with a Marriott. Was here for a business meeting and the staff was very helpful, professional, and accommodating. The food was also tasty and good portions. The gym was next to the conference room and it was a good size. The bathroom was immaculate and the dining area was very nice and had an outdoor patio with additional seating. I would use this location for future meetings and would stay there as well.

Over priced average hotel with a lot of issues. Paid $180 a night to stay here. Breakfast was $18 and equivalent to motel 6. Shower went from warm to cold repeatedly while on the hottest setting. Barely enough water pressure to clean myself. There was no workspace for me and my colleague in the lobby area. Only option they gave me was outside on the tables in the heat and noise of the highway. They had meeting rooms but only for rent. Go to the room and the desk provided in the room could barely be sat at due to its proximity to the mattress. Thin walls, heard a lot of noise all night. One of the two elevators was broken the entire three days I was here. They had a full house most of the time with some convention so getting up and down to your floor took a long time. I’m sure there are things I’m leaving out. Either way, never staying here again.

Great hotel to stay at if your visiting or working have stayed here a lot, the breakfast is great but it’s not free and the hotel is very clean and comfy also depending on what side you stay on there are some nice views. Also the bar and restaurant downstairs has amazing food it’s definitely worth a visit if you are staying out of town.

Do yourself a favor and dont book at this hotel. they will find some reason to keep your security deposit plus interest. they took 350$ from my account (not including security deposit they kept) because they said there was a stain on the lamp shade that they couldnt remove. if I made the stain I could maybe(probably not) be ok with the fact they took my $75 security deposite. that was the amount I authorized for them for incidentals etc so if I did damage the room I could understand the 75$ but I did not. & I paid secuy deposite 2x because I booked an additional night & had to re pay the deposit yet they didnt even refund my first deposit that I paid either. makes no sense & talking to them like taking to very polite theif as they smile your face and steal your wallet. I made them take me to the room and showed how I could remove the stain with spit and my finger and they did not accept that said they just work here nothing they could do the maids report is law doesnt matter what the truth is & I didnt even leave the stain! so if u absolutely have to book here do a VERY thorough job of inspecting the room before you settle in & I mean take a black light to everything because they said that my stain glowed in black lite? like I didnt. know the maids went over the whole room with a black light after people leve kinda felt invasive as well.. they will pin it on you even if its not visible to the naked eye. filed complaint with the consumer protection and better business bureau as well as reporting to my bank the unauthorized charge. hopefully I get my $ back

Overall the hotel was very clean and comfortable but had a lot missing compared to other hotels of the same brand under the IHG umbrella.The room was very comfortable and wifi was fast and usable. However no Ethernet in the room, no big deal.In the lobby there is a small counter with some amenities to buy, such as detergent, grooming supplies, food, and drinks. It also has the one single only microwave in the entire hotel. Your room does not come with a microwave oven, only a fridge.Breakfast also cost nearly $20 for the same cheap kind of food youd find at any other IHG hotel, a ridiculous gesture.Restroom was fine. Toilet flushes strong, shower gets warm fast, but sink is outside of the bathroom and the vent has no switch. So unless you prop the door open with a hanger or trash can, your bathroom is going to be moist and smelly.There is a table in the room for laptop use, but no power outlets nearby. Not very useful. The TV channel listing sheet is also different than whats actually on the TV, and no input switching capabilities for me to plug in my laptop or game console. The shades also do not close to black out the room. So if youre a late sleeper or want to keep your room cooler during the summer, youre out of luck.

I chose this location as its midpoint to my house and work. I called Holiday inn in the morning as my water and power was being turned off due to construction. Spoke to Manager Maria and asked if there are rooms available and I can check in early. She stated only available room is a double and the room price was around $150ish (can’t quite remember exact dollar amount) but with my AAA discount it was brought down to around $130ish plus tax and this is why i booked them. I even mentioned I will not be staying over night and asked for a day use and she stated that’s booked online only. She did NOT mention a $75 deposit and a $50 early check. Before calling Holiday inn, I called a couple of nearby motels including Ayres Suite across the street and was clearly given a price as well as their fees for earlier check in. Maria at the Holiday Inn did not communicate their hidden fees to me and that’s why I booked here. I did contact the the hotel when I saw the charge and Maria insisted that she explained the fees to me over the phone which she didn’t. I would have stayed at the Ayres Suite if I knew the price was going to be the same as Ayres is a better hotel.

I stay at many hotels, for a value hotel..this one was very clean & staff was great. Sarah at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. Great price also. My only complaint would be you only get a half roll of toilet paper in the room...thats it! I stayed in 2 different rooms and there was only half a roll on the dispenser in each room...no full roll, no back up roll. Come on!I know how valuable TP is these days but really need at least a full roll just to get by.

I have to come to the Diamond Bar area every 4-6 weeks for about a week at a time for work. My first trip here I stayed at the Best Western and it was the WORST. So, this time I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Diamond Bar and Im so much happier.As many reviewers have pointed out the hotel is still undergoing renovations. They are still renovating the pool area and they might be renovating some floors/rooms but I havent heard or seen anything during my stay in the hotel, which is great.I had a Junior Suite for my 4 nights and the room was large, comfortable with a balcony and lots of plugs and outlets for a business traveler. The king bed was very comfortable and the linens were quite good, which is a big thing for me since I regularly overspend on fine bedding for my own bed. My room was at the end of the hotel and if you open the door to the patio you can definitely hear the freeway noise but the room is very well soundproofed. Its not 100% quiet and there is some white noise but I found it soothing.I tried the breakfast buffet my first morning, and for $12.99, I didnt find the value. Perhaps because I came during the last 30 minutes, but the servers were not attentive. I had to wave someone down to be seated, to get juice, to get condiments, etc. Everything seemed to have been made fresh, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, fried potatoes with peppers and onions and pancakes, but everything was barely lukewarm or outright cold. I skipped it the rest of my stay.I did however order some fish & pub chips from room service. It came in 20 minutes, was hot and well made. The fish was well battered and fried and came with great malt vinegar and a dill tartar sauce I really liked. My only issue is that if they say pub chips, Im expecting like English chips, you know? Like, french fries, but these were just chips. I think they need to clarify that on the menu. I was a bit disappointed but I still ate it and it was fine.I used the fitness center during my stay and the equipment was all fairly new and the A/C worked well. They had towels for you to use there as well but the water dispenser was empty and dirty looking.This will be my go to hotel when I need to come out to Diamond Bar so I hope it continues to meet my expectations.

One of the best HI hotels I have stayed at. The new beds are fantastic and the staff members have been great from the reception desk to room service, to the bar. I was upgraded to a suite with a balcony upon arrival without having to even mention my spire status. A lot of HI hotels try to recognize members in different ways, but this hotel does it by nailing the fundamentals and thats what matters most to me as a business traveler. Juan at the restaurant/bar was also outstanding. His customer service and conversation was exceptional; much appreciated while on the road.

I stayed for an extended period of time and enjoyed every day spent here. the front desk team and the housekeeping group were all so helpful nice and attentive to anything we needed. they were going through a construction at the time but they worked with it every day and made the stay enjoyable. the team here really needs more recognition for all of their positive attitudes.

Would be a 5 star review but the construction going on is inconvenient and I wish they provided slippers in the rooms. Only 2 real gripes I have. If I could give negative stars I would. This place is under renovation. So they are literally running check in and the restaurant out of one of the banquet rooms. So besides how terribly inconvenient it is because once you check in, you have to go through a construction site to get to the elevator and your room, then in the morning (hope you’re planning an early day!) the crew starts working and you hear banging and power tools all day long!!! In addition, they redid the rooms and they are half the size. The room I had was literally a box with a bed and toilet. There are no chairs nor a dresser to keep your clothes in. Save your money, do not go here!!!! What a bust! I see one review says the staff warned them about renovations, not me. I got no warning, it was all a surprise when I pulled up.

Convenient location but some staff lack logic and service orientation. Issues upon arrival, issues with plumbing, moved rooms and our kids were placed in a room not adjoining as requested. Instead of an apology I was interrogated with when and who questions. What parent books minor kids in a room not at least adjacent??? Why lie about that? An upgrade maybe but seriously??? Location was the only reason we had to stay.

Newly renovated but its next to the freeway so its noisy even you closed the window. some noise insulation works need to be done.The hotel is clean and the service is OK but is lacking in some areas. For example, both coffee pots at ftront lobby was out early in the morning while after notified front desk. Checked several times, the coffee pots never return after she brought to kitchen for refill.Some employee trainings need to be done to live up to the Holiday Inn and 3 star class standard.

Excellent location to check out the local Korean and Chinese scene in the area. Noise from the freeway was not an issue. All rooms have recently been renovated. New furniture, carpet, etc. Ronaldo at the front desk was awesome. Checked me in, recognized my platinum elite status and took care of me throughout my stay. Ivan checked me out and was just as friendly and nice, even gave me a bottle of water for the road. I will definitely be returning!

The rooms were nice enough. The location is overlooking the freeway so it can be loud with the window open. The service was rough. We never had coffee cups replaced in our room, our door kept failing and needing maintenance, and a fire alarm randomly went off, waking everyone up early.

Lets Just call out these greedy hotels for not providing you service and blaming it on covid. I was surprised to find out that due to covid the rooms will not be cleaned for 4 days. Im staying here for 2 weeks so that means Im going to get maybe three cleanings before I leave. On my first fourth day I called front desk and asked if Im scheduled for cleaning and surprise surprise Im not scheduled. They were hoping I would forget. If I could give the place a zero I would. First, I booked my room from the Holiday Inn website, it said $170 a night. Not so, I was charged more than $57 more for my second night. Second, I get here to check in, and the front desk clerk has 0 customer service skills. Instead of the normal $75 deposit, she charged $150 because they have an event booked. That was the explanation for the increase in my room rate for my second night. My three daughters and I want to take showers and below is what we found. Stay away from this hotel.

The front desk staff when I stayed Wednesday sept 27 2017 was very professional and friendly. a gentleman called me the day of my check in to inform me of current renovations. it really made a difference because it gave me the chance to change my expectations. when I did check in, I was extremely glad they informed me of the renovations. i say this because I would have been extremely 100% upset if they had not given me notice ahead of time. so thank you holiday inn, even though you had to do necessary renovations, thank you for notifying me. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because Coral, Joshua, William and the other ladies were totally fabulous. Zinnia on the other hand was the most impolite, rude, non friendly individual that Ive ever met that works in Customer Service. From the 1st time we checked in until we left, she had a nasty, sour, and a dont give a care attitude. Ive been in Management for over 20 years and I definitely wouldnt have her on the front line to meet or greet an animal let alone people. Every single encountered experience with her was horrible, even down to her ignoring my daughter at the counter when our key stopped working. She literally walked off and and was about to walk down the side hall, she looked back and said oh you need help? My daughter said yes, I was trying to get your attention. Im watching her the whole time because I was warming my food in the microwave. I dont need to go on and on about Zinnia, she just simply doesnt display Good Manners, Good Hospitality, or any type of Friendliness, she could definitely learn a valuable lesson on Superior Customer Service from Coral, William, Joshua and the other ladies at the desk we came in contact with. It just hits differently when my family and I spent almost $800 for a week in the hotel to be treated like we did from Zinnia.

One was arguing with another worker in the middle of the party going on. Unprofessional and truly not appropriate. This was the worst stay ever. I booked a king room that was advertised and ended up with a full size bed and super small room. I went to front desk to fix the problem and was told they do not have any king rooms at Holiday Inn Diamond Bar location which was shocking to me. It was late at night when we checked In and me and my fiancee was very tired so we ended up staying. On checkout the following morning we run into another issue as I was told I could not receive a receipt / printout which I never heard of in all my stays in many Holiday Inns. This was the last straw for me. We have been IHG members for a good amount of time and at this point we no longer wish to spend our hard earned money with Holiday Inn. Beautiful hotel...worst sleep ever.I booked a room at this hotel and was impressed when i got there. The grounds were beautiful as were the rooms. However.....my room, 501, was so incredibly noisy that I did not sleep. That corner of the building aligns with 2 freeways and it sounded as if semi trucks were about to roll over me at night. At 2:30 am I could not believe how noisy it was and that there was so much traffic. And...I even had ear plugs.The most disappointing part was when I checked out I asked to speak to the manager about maybe getting a small discount. I was told the manager would be there in an hour and would call me. 8 hours later I still had not heard from anyone. I called in and was given voice mail. I again left a message but no response.Very disappointing that I at least did not get to vent a little bit. At least have the courtesy to call me back.Ill never come back though. If you stay there make sure to avoid the entire West/SW side of the building or it will be a long night....

Rooms were newly updated, and were kept clean. There is construction at the hotel Monday thru Thursday on the lobby. The temporary lobby is located in the back of the building and you have to walk out and into the unfinished lobby to get to the elevator, but overall it was very nice, and staff was very friendly.

They have the largest rectangular hotel swimming pool in that area, great for hang out or kids to play. Freeway 57 and 60 are within 1 mile. The meeting room of the seminar I attended can seat more than 30, larger meeting room also available. By the way, night bartenders are the best, love them.

Hotel is nice but unfortunately there were alot of stains on my sheets and two pillow cases in the bed had what seemed to be blood marks on them. I brought to their attention in which they changed the sheets and offered my a bottle of water. After a week of trying to reach the Manager the Assistant Manager offered me a refund for that night. Which i assumed was a comp for first night so i accepted, that turned out to be a $14 refund which is almost a Insult. I called Corporate which they leave it up to the hotels to refund and they informed me the hotel deleted my Reservation in the system. Still havent been resolved. While we stayed their elevator was so slow, the pool was outside it was so loud you needed hearing protection. They also seemly booked only from a certain bus line constantly had to wait for the elevator the stairs had been designed to only exit, so you could not use them to go up.

Customer service was so amazing! even our servers for breakfast! It was a buffet with a waffle maker ! We had the 6th floor and it was super quite and the bed WAS OUTSTANDING FEEL ASLEEP ONCE I HIT THE BED !!!!! I LOVE THIS PLACE WILL STAY AGAIN!!!! Newly renovated but it’s still a Holiday Inn. The place is already falling apart. The walls and the doors are not thick enough to be sound proof. They started doing renovations at 8am so we heard all the banging. Housekeeping sounded like they were having a party in the hallways. Complained about people next door smoking because the smoke was making its way into our room through the adjoining door cracks, but the staff did nothing. The furnitures look like they came from an ikea.

The front desk swiftly change our room, I am not sure due to good customer service or knowledge of previously similar complaints. We were to tired to leave the hotel (drove from LAX, and too tired to make it home), so we decided to take another room. The next room was cleaner. the first however, I stayed in a motel with immaculate attention to details on the (the milestone, Ogunquit, Maine).We did not stay long enough to take photos of the initial room. The photo is of the second rooms dusty doors and urine stained walls (this was the room upgrade on the 6th floor).

On 11/13/20 at IHGMy husband I my reservation at this hotel.My husband spoken with IHG ..they told him he had 13000 points and he can use 500 for each night.Which bring the rate down to 70$ a night.Well it was a different story. When we arrive a very nice guy at the front desk reception said IHG never use the points. And that the room a night will be $108 since points was never use.Oh my! Was I upset.Not holiday inn fault.We thank the young man.And contact IHG.They try to say we made reservations with a third-party which was false.they overcharged us their glitch .No microwave in the room .. Super noisy in the hallway. Maid talking loud on there cell phone.And during covid 19 is a safety concern. No temperature check.. Normally there is an extra roll in the bathroom somewhere but not here at the Holiday Inn in diamond bar, With two adults and two children it toke about 10 hour still no toilet paper! finally I had to go downstairs the man reaches under the counter and handed me a roll. Cleaning lady refuse to give us clean towels after we use the towels for the pool that took many request! Also there was a dead bird in the fountain on the way to the pool . Never again will I stay there!!

While making my reservation i specifically indicated that i would be checking in on morning of check out day at approximately 8 am, since I only required room a brief time. I left room at 11am and found days later that they charged my credit card an additional night stay eventhough i vacated room prior to check out time of 12 noon.When I called the hotel to inquire about the additional charge, the staff was rude and hung up on me when I asked to speak with manager. Very clean, spacious, some bus and 18 wheeler parking(about 5 spots), we fit an 80ft car hauler in parking spot. Staff friendly. The only bad thing about this hotel is breakfast is not free and there arent any restaurants near by. Its about a 20 minute walk to the nearest restaurant.

I canceled reservation as we were unable to use the room as planned. Canceled Jun 19th, reservations were for Jun 24th. Booked two rooms. They charged me $131 for one room. Please tell me in that time period on one weekend night, you were not able to re-book those rooms! I was being considerate and giving them five days notice. The thanks I get? This is a review for my father who had a reservation at this hotel from February 10th till the 15th. His flight was canceled out of Michigan on the 10th so he wanted to move the dates to the 11th through the 16th. They said no problem but he had to still pay for the 10th because he did not cancel within with 24 hours notice. His flight was not canceled until the morning of the 10th. Horrible customer service. He just canceled the whole reservation and is staying at a different hotel. Unless you are 100 percent sure you are going to stay there, I Definitley would not make a reservation at this Holiday Inn.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would.I am a loyal IHG member and any time I can stay at a Holiday Inn, I do. We travel around the country as well as other countries and spend close to $10,000 a year at Holiday Inns.This was the first time I have ever experienced such horrible service at a Holiday Inn.The reason for the low rating is not due to the quality or cleanliness of the hotel. It is solely based on the lack of Customer Care.Traveled to California for a conference we held and we had several rooms reserved and paid for, along with several other guests who stayed there and paid for their own rooms.We checked in and paid for all of our rooms, when one of the desk attendants called my room to inform me that there was a problem with my card. Turns out, the problem was that when he ran my card for the last room, he somehow processed a refund. So, they were showing a reversal for that room amount.I checked my bank and saw no reversal, just the hold amount for all the rooms.I spoke to the woman (Vanessa) who said she was the manager and she informed me that there was a glitch in her system. We both tried to contact my bank and because of the weekend, they could not confirm anything would be refunded until the following Monday.I spoke with Vanessa a couple times and agreed that we needed to wait until Monday to get things situated. I was not comfortable with the hotel scanning my card again for an amount that I did not see was going to be refunded. If so, the authorization would have placed a double hold on the same funds. Not something I could justify, seeing as it was their error.Come Saturday night, after a long day of working, I am told we are locked out of that room. In conversation with the desk attendant, they were instructed by the same manager who I spoke with and confirmed that we would take care of everything once things were clarified on Monday, to lock us out of the room if we did not leave another payment.I insisted to speak to the manager at this point, and the employee told me No. Said the manager was off duty and refused to contact anyone. I insisted there had to be a supervisor available during a weekend in case of emergencies and that I would like her to contact one of them. She again refused and said the only person she would contact was someone to come and remove our belongings from the room.I contacted the corporate office to open a case and he did so. Unfortunately he was unable to force them to let me in the room, due to not knowing the conversation, however he did force the employee to contact the manager, who was off duty.The manager did not respond and because we had already stood there for 2 hours, I let them scan the card again. I also asked her to give the manager a message when she called back..The message was that if on Monday, I didnt see a refund on my card or there were any other discrepancies, that I would leave the worst review for their hotel.Once that message was delivered, all of a sudden I get voice mails from the actual manager on behalf of the Assistant Manager saying that they are working to correct this. I also got follow up calls from other desk employees informing me of the same thing.However, at this point, there was nothing for them to fix because I had already given them my card to hold a double payment, for their own error.This would have been different if it were my or my banks fault. However, Vanessa admitted that it was their (Holiday Inn) system glitch.Despite the amount of money I spend at their hotels, or the amount of rooms we already had paid for during that stay, they still treated us like trash. To threaten me that they could only contact someone to throw our belongings out of the room and refuse to contact the manager I originally worked with, is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE.Now that Monday has past and items have posted, I now have to file a dispute with my bank, because there is more than one discrepancy with the charges. One room duplicated, and another room charged for an amount other than what my reservation/bill quote.

Slowest elevator in the history of elevators. Breakfast buffet was literally same thing ever day just switch between bacon n sausage. Hotel staff was rude other than the front desk. Deff look at other places in the area.

Over all it’s good but the just think they should accommodate Alil more to customers that come back as my company does spending $$$$$ bucks cuz at one tym there’s at least 8 guys staying for few wks at a tym. Cuz we all live out of town. N to think that wen we was checking n that they needed my ID just for me to collect 4 guys things out the rigs that was the most crazy thing I ever heard of n we all just checked n lyk we r goin to steal the cart.

There was renovation going on therefore it was noisy in the mornings, lobby was a mess. Dirty elevators. and u could see people working outside on the exterior from your room window. Rooms were nice

This location is clean and beautiful. And may I say Karolinas and Williams customer service towards me was more than great. They sure made me feel at home. I highly recomend this location to anyone that is looking for a nice Hotel to stay in. Iwill defenately be staying here in the future.

Well, at this point it appears that renovation is going great. A little extra effort to get to your room is needed. No room service, and restaurant closes at 9pm. But, the young ladies at the mock desk are Awesome!

The front desk was slightly infuriating to deal with. I was there to pick up a package, but had to make two separate trips and ask about a dozen times just because they couldnt find the package under a table. They were nice enough, but cost me a lot of time.

Very noisy since it is located in almost the middle of high way. I couldnt sleep at all. Nothing around this place except running cars. One of the lamps was out of order. Morning call service and breakfast were ok.
