I am so glad I found HK Associates!! Harjot was amazing! I just opened a small business and had so many questions. Harjot was very professional, always responded quickly and even going extra miles (going back to last 5 years) to make sure everything was reviewed thoroughly and taken care of. Very detailed oriented, professional and gave me advice for next tax year. I say top notch service from HK associates. As a household with a mixture of W2s, 1099s, and different kinds of businesses, tax season had always been stressful for us. Harjot and company are absolute life savers. The most qualified tax accountants and wealth managers Ive seen yet. I came to HK because of a scary letter I got from the IRS about 2 year old tax returns saying I owed a bunch more money. Shocked and terrified, I scoured my resources for someone to help me - asked friends and family for their tax people, searched the internet far and wide, ultimately settling on HK Associates. Something about them pulled me in, and Im so glad it did because, you will learn quickly, they are masters of their craft. Harjot took the lead on my tasks, and has been nothing but a dream to work with in such a frustrating and intimidating situation. Communication is on point, and he is very good at presenting all the over complicated IRS/tax jargon in a digestible way, aka in laymans terms. Im extremely grateful for their help with my complex tax situation and will definitely be using them for me and my wifes taxes from here on out. HK Associates save me thousands of dollars. I was getting harassed from the IRS to file my 2016 tax return (that I’d put off for years) even going as far as emptying my bank account. I knew I needed to get some professional help and I’m glad I called Harjot, from our first conversation he made me feel extremely comfortable and put my mind at ease. My family and I own a business together and recently found ourselves in need of a new CPA due to the size of project - business taxes plus personal taxes for two separate households. It is never easy when dealing with tax information. I have tried other firms and it always felt rushed and unauthentic. Im using Harjot for the first time due to starting a new small business, for both personal and business taxes. My field offered me just about zero insight on business or finance, and Harjot was very patient with me in terms of explaining the basics of small business finance and taxes. He also has seemed very transparent about what I need, and told me that a previous conversation I had with 1-800-accountants was all scare tactics, and he would take care of my needs more affordably and practically (so of course I gave my business to Harjot instead of 1-800). He has first hand experience with starting a business, so he is able to guide small businesses along the way. He has been super helpful, flexible and efficient.

For me, one big deciding factor on hiring a CPA is honesty and clarity. Harjot went above and beyond to explain to me my business standing, federal, state and county taxes and even helped me strategize for the future. Every call, text and email I learned something new. Mr. Khangura commands a strong grasp of individual and business tax law and prepares returns with care and diligence, but thats not the best quality about his firm. Mr. Khangura is easy to talk to and very transparent, which made me feel assured that all his clients are in great hands.
