2024-06-29 23:15:32The hotel is super close to LAX, you can easily drive there or book the free shuttle offered by Hilton Garden Inn.Its currently under renovation, so some facilities were temporally relocated (like breakfast area), but there was no noise during our stay. Reception area was a bit dusty and with renovation ongoing, but nothing that bothered too much.The room was recently renovated and super clean! Very spacious, super comfortable bed and no noise from outside - we were located on ground floor and could sleep all night.The check in staff was super friendly and helped with all questions we had!If you need to be close to LAX, its a great stay for the price offered!

2024-06-23 07:02:07Last minute stay. Stayed the night before flying out of LAX, hotel was under construction but it did not effect our stay in any way. Room was comfortable, waters were already placed in the room & as a Hilton honors member that is always appreciated. Shuttle is by reservation, easy to use. Driver asked what airline we were flying and dropped us right in front which was convenient. Only downside to the shuttle, is it is not 24/7 & you have to pay if youre using it before 6am. Luckily again, we were not effected. Would stay here again if needed.

2024-06-28 19:17:54Long-time Hilton HHonors member. I lost a lot of faith in Hiltons credibility due to a stay at this location. They had an extensive renovation underway. It was hard to even find where to check in. The room assigned to me was adjacent to one being renovated. It had plastic taped to the carpet in front of the door to protect it from the worker traffic. 2024-06-15 22:23:50Flew into LAX on 6/7/24 & stayed at Hilton El Segundo for an overnight layover; as a Hilton’s member, the location and price was worth the night. There was ongoing construction but had no effect throughout the night/into the morning.The only complaint and reason for 4 stars is the transportation dispatch person, Jacob, is horrible. Upon arrival into LAX, he was very rude and would cut me off when I asked for guidance arranging transportation to the hotel. He was not clear with instructions, as I’ve never taken a hotel shuttle from an airport, so it prompted me to call more than once before we were able to finally find the hotel shuttle pick up; the first time, he said to call once we have our bags. The second time, he said to call back once we were outside. The third time, he said to find a specific terminal and call him then. Finally, after the fourth time- we called again and he spoke with such a condescending tone because we didn’t originally go straight to the terminal before calling the first time. Again, had he explained all of the that from the beginning, we wouldn’t have gone all around.I’m not sure if transportation dispatch is employed by Hilton themselves, but if so- they need to hire someone who actually has better customer service skills because Jacob was not it; if the job seems like a nuisance, maybe he should find another.That aside, would recommend Hilton El Segundo for short term stays.

2024-06-06 05:47:47As of 6/5/24 there is heavy construction in the lobby so it’s a mess and makes for a loud 1st floor. It’s not very clear at all on booking sites that all the normal amenities are not usable so it does feel like a cheap blindside despite them saying “it’s on the site” (it’s not, can’t find it). The room I got at first also had an extremely loud, busted AC so they moved me to a “new” room in the middle of the night and I get in there and there is still a mess in the bathroom including a gross, unflushed toilet and used towels. Only the bed was made. I’ve been here 4 days so far and there has been 0 cleaning/ maid services done in the room. The staff seems mostly apathetic about it all. Seems like I came during a bad transition period or something since this place is kind of a mess I couldn’t recommend to anyone. I would have chosen a different hotel but all of the other nearby ones were booked and I’m here for work. What a bummer of a Hilton. Easily the worst hotel I’ve been to in a long time unfortunately.

2024-05-19 19:00:48Absolutely ridiculous all amenities are closed no pool, no fitness center.This hotel is undergoing extensive renovation essentially there is no lobby the front desk is a sad excuse of a front desk and looks worse than the most run-down motel.The most disappointing is that when I booked this hotel there was absolutely no indication that amenities are closed and that this place is undergoing renovation.If there was any indication that the pool will be closed and the hotel was undergoing renovations I would have chosen another in the area there are many choices.Shame on you Hilton for not giving your customers any indication of this renovation its clearly intentional not disclosing this to customers ahead of time.-Noting that this location says they now post that the hotel is undergoing renos perhaps they should send a msg to customers with bookings with this same warningRoom 3/5, updated and newer. Comfortable bed. Unfortunately the AC is really loud. It rattles in the room. Had to turn it off so I could sleep. The wash and shampoo is in bulk pump bottles (not a fan, not very hygienic) and it was empty on entry into the room.Breakfast, buffet style. Adequate w/ sausage, eggs, pancake, fresh fruit, yogurt, etc. Paid extra to have this with my reservation. Not included.

2024-03-17 13:04:38Excellent service. There is a shuttle from the LAX airport to this hotel. You will have to call the hotel number and ask for it. It was free! The drivers were wonderful, nice and very helpful.The hotel room. Overall, very clean. Beds were comfy and we did not have any issues with the bed. You can tell the floors were dirty but clean. We didnt see any stains but you can tell there are dirt trails from foot traffic. It wasnt too obvious.The bathroom was clean and well organized. The shower was good but it took a while for hot water to come through.Service was top notch. 5/5.

2024-06-21 16:07:29I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn from January 25th to January 26th. Since then, I have yet to receive my accommodation receipt. On April 27th, I emailed the hotel regarding this issue, but as of today, June 21st, I have received no response.This morning at 9:30, I called the front desk, only to be told that they had no record of my stay. To make matters worse, my call was abruptly ended without any further assistance. I am deeply dismayed by this level of customer service.I do not understand why I am being treated so poorly when I am simply requesting a receipt that I am entitled to. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I expected much better from a Hilton property.

2024-03-24 20:39:39This is the worst Hilton property Ive stayed at. There was a shuttle that picked me up at LAX which was great! However, Joshua at the reception desk provided the worst service Ive experienced at a hotel. He was very rude and dismissive. This was not only my experience but 2 of my coworkers also staying at the hotel. The rooms were very old and disgusting. The hotel is currently going through a renovation so well see if the rooms get updated. However, the service is poor. The price is very high considering you can stay at much nicer hotels in the area for the same price. I wouldnt recommend anyone stay at this hotel.

2024-05-04 16:49:44This is the most worse Hilton hotel we ever stayed.We were very early And just checking some information, the front desk lady wasn’t ready friendly.Once we walking to the hotel, can smell very bad pollution by renovation in the Air, black and white garbage bags covering all around the wall with dusty, carpet elevator all covered dusty.As well as the bedroom.Yes, you have announced that you are under renovations right now, but since you are still ongoing taking the bookings, you should also consider more for the health issues with this environment.We will not recommend this hotel.
