The hotel is super close to LAX, you can easily drive there or book the free shuttle offered by Hilton Garden Inn.Its currently under renovation, so some facilities were temporally relocated (like breakfast area), but there was no noise during our stay. Reception area was a bit dusty and with renovation ongoing, but nothing that bothered too much.The room was recently renovated and super clean! Very spacious, super comfortable bed and no noise from outside - we were located on ground floor and could sleep all night.The check in staff was super friendly and helped with all questions we had!If you need to be close to LAX, its a great stay for the price offered!

Last minute stay. Stayed the night before flying out of LAX, hotel was under construction but it did not effect our stay in any way. Room was comfortable, waters were already placed in the room & as a Hilton honors member that is always appreciated. Shuttle is by reservation, easy to use. Driver asked what airline we were flying and dropped us right in front which was convenient. Only downside to the shuttle, is it is not 24/7 & you have to pay if youre using it before 6am. Luckily again, we were not effected. Would stay here again if needed.

Long-time Hilton HHonors member. I lost a lot of faith in Hiltons credibility due to a stay at this location. They had an extensive renovation underway. It was hard to even find where to check in. The room assigned to me was adjacent to one being renovated. It had plastic taped to the carpet in front of the door to protect it from the worker traffic. Really guys? Flew into LAX on 6/7/24 & stayed at Hilton El Segundo for an overnight layover; as a Hilton’s member, the location and price was worth the night. There was ongoing construction but had no effect throughout the night/into the morning.The only complaint and reason for 4 stars is the transportation dispatch person, Jacob, is horrible. Upon arrival into LAX, he was very rude and would cut me off when I asked for guidance arranging transportation to the hotel. He was not clear with instructions, as I’ve never taken a hotel shuttle from an airport, so it prompted me to call more than once before we were able to finally find the hotel shuttle pick up; the first time, he said to call once we have our bags. The second time, he said to call back once we were outside. The third time, he said to find a specific terminal and call him then. Finally, after the fourth time- we called again and he spoke with such a condescending tone because we didn’t originally go straight to the terminal before calling the first time. Again, had he explained all of the that from the beginning, we wouldn’t have gone all around.I’m not sure if transportation dispatch is employed by Hilton themselves, but if so- they need to hire someone who actually has better customer service skills because Jacob was not it; if the job seems like a nuisance, maybe he should find another.That aside, would recommend Hilton El Segundo for short term stays.

As of 6/5/24 there is heavy construction in the lobby so it’s a mess and makes for a loud 1st floor. It’s not very clear at all on booking sites that all the normal amenities are not usable so it does feel like a cheap blindside despite them saying “it’s on the site” (it’s not, can’t find it). The room I got at first also had an extremely loud, busted AC so they moved me to a “new” room in the middle of the night and I get in there and there is still a mess in the bathroom including a gross, unflushed toilet and used towels. Only the bed was made. I’ve been here 4 days so far and there has been 0 cleaning/ maid services done in the room. The staff seems mostly apathetic about it all. Seems like I came during a bad transition period or something since this place is kind of a mess I couldn’t recommend to anyone. I would have chosen a different hotel but all of the other nearby ones were booked and I’m here for work. What a bummer of a Hilton. Easily the worst hotel I’ve been to in a long time unfortunately.

Absolutely ridiculous all amenities are closed no pool, no fitness center.This hotel is undergoing extensive renovation essentially there is no lobby the front desk is a sad excuse of a front desk and looks worse than the most run-down motel.The most disappointing is that when I booked this hotel there was absolutely no indication that amenities are closed and that this place is undergoing renovation.If there was any indication that the pool will be closed and the hotel was undergoing renovations I would have chosen another in the area there are many choices.Shame on you Hilton for not giving your customers any indication of this renovation its clearly intentional not disclosing this to customers ahead of time.-Noting that this location says they now post that the hotel is undergoing renos perhaps they should send a msg to customers with bookings with this same warningRoom 3/5, updated and newer. Comfortable bed. Unfortunately the AC is really loud. It rattles in the room. Had to turn it off so I could sleep. The wash and shampoo is in bulk pump bottles (not a fan, not very hygienic) and it was empty on entry into the room.Breakfast, buffet style. Adequate w/ sausage, eggs, pancake, fresh fruit, yogurt, etc. Paid extra to have this with my reservation. Not included.

Excellent service. There is a shuttle from the LAX airport to this hotel. You will have to call the hotel number and ask for it. It was free! The drivers were wonderful, nice and very helpful.The hotel room. Overall, very clean. Beds were comfy and we did not have any issues with the bed. You can tell the floors were dirty but clean. We didnt see any stains but you can tell there are dirt trails from foot traffic. It wasnt too obvious.The bathroom was clean and well organized. The shower was good but it took a while for hot water to come through.Service was top notch. 5/5.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn from January 25th to January 26th. Since then, I have yet to receive my accommodation receipt. On April 27th, I emailed the hotel regarding this issue, but as of today, June 21st, I have received no response.This morning at 9:30, I called the front desk, only to be told that they had no record of my stay. To make matters worse, my call was abruptly ended without any further assistance. I am deeply dismayed by this level of customer service.I do not understand why I am being treated so poorly when I am simply requesting a receipt that I am entitled to. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I expected much better from a Hilton property.

This is the worst Hilton property Ive stayed at. There was a shuttle that picked me up at LAX which was great! However, Joshua at the reception desk provided the worst service Ive experienced at a hotel. He was very rude and dismissive. This was not only my experience but 2 of my coworkers also staying at the hotel. The rooms were very old and disgusting. The hotel is currently going through a renovation so well see if the rooms get updated. However, the service is poor. The price is very high considering you can stay at much nicer hotels in the area for the same price. I wouldnt recommend anyone stay at this hotel.

This is the most worse Hilton hotel we ever stayed.We were very early And just checking some information, the front desk lady wasn’t ready friendly.Once we walking to the hotel, can smell very bad pollution by renovation in the Air, black and white garbage bags covering all around the wall with dusty, carpet elevator all covered dusty.As well as the bedroom.Yes, you have announced that you are under renovations right now, but since you are still ongoing taking the bookings, you should also consider more for the health issues with this environment.We will not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is currently under construction and maintenance, with NOISE and the smell of PAINT permeating even inside the rooms. The parking lots were full, and the lobby had a noticeable formaldehyde odor. While the room was spacious, I would not recommend staying here if you are sensitive to noise and odors

Hotel was under renovation. I would have given it 4 star rating but there were multiple issues in the room and in the hotel. The first issue was workers started banging and working on repairs 8 in the morning. Second, the light in the bathroom kept turning off after we turned it on. And the third and most annoying was the noise at 5 and 6 in the morning. When I called the front desk to complain, they said its the housekeeping staff working on moving things from one room to the other. Never coming again.

Little did I know that this hotel is undergoing renovations. There was very little places to park and there is construction equipment and debris everywhere. All the amenities were closed as well. The room was very nice and updated. The AC unit in my room was horrible though, it was so noisy, I barely slept. Hoping it will be better after the renovations.

The hotel is in a great location. They are doing construction, and it made the stay just okay. It took over an hour to receive fresh towels. The parking is terrible and you have to pay to park. We came back from being out, and we didnt have a place to park. We had to move cones to create a parking space.

Misleading Shuttle InformationI want to share my experience regarding the hotels airport shuttle service. So upset I booked this Hotel and none of the amenities are available. I pretty much got a shrug and an offer for free breakfast. I was under the impression the breakfast was free. So I paid for a room that would have access to the pool and hot tub and due to construction. The room os nice and the beds clean. Just upset with the lack of help and lack of any amenities. Hotel was under renovation and on the app I used to book it was not mentioned. You breath dust. According to them, rooms refurbishment was just completed, my one was just ok.Breakfast was poor and coffe was not available before buffet opening, I guess it was all about this renovation as usually Garden Inn are quiet good. Staff I delat with was unfriendly, no goodmorning, how are you, how was your stay (particularly a big guy at reception), but most of all I was not told they make up room only on request. When I was back it was too late and they said sorry no more housekeeping. They clearly had the chance to mention it as we had a small issue to solve the same morning and they knew I extended my stay for 1 night as it was already booked by a friend and they missed the chance to mention. Prices are the same of nearby hotels, I am often in the area for business reasons but I will not be back here.

Definitely the worst hotel room Ive stayed at in a while. They are currently remodeling, which we werent notified of until after we checked in. I feel like there shouldve been something notifying guests about this before they booked a room. The floor in the bathroom was visibly dirty, the water wasnt working when we first arrived (once again, we werent notified about this, just found out on our own), and the water pressure was pretty bad once the water was restored. We tried to use the airport shuttle service in the morning (we had an early morning flight) and was told that the shuttle didnt run that early in the morning, but we could try to book it directly. When we called, they said they didnt run on Saturday mornings. Thankfully we looked into this the day before our flight, otherwise we might not have made it to the airport in time. If I wouldve known all of this, I definitely would have booked a room somewhere else because having to get a taxi was a major inconvenience on top of a not great experience at this hotel.

Update 4.8.24Horrible experience with the shuttle. I dont mind the fact that I couldnt use the shuttle to get to LAX at the beginning of my trip, maybe oversight on my part, and thought it was 24 hours? BUT the service received when we came back was horrific. They contract with a third-party HMR Transport, which shuttles to several locations. I called as instructed, and the man was rude and abrupt. I waited for the pickup and saw a shuttle appear with two other hotels advertised. I took a chance and asked if they also go to Hilton Garden Inn. They said, Why arent you answering your phone!!!, took my luggage and said get in the van. First of all, my ringer was on, but it was loud and didnt realize he was calling. Second, why isnt the hotel name listed? Even a piece of paper in the window would help. The other guests on the shuttle were also upset. To make it worse, he did not alert the guests when he arrived at locations. One family didnt know to get off since the rest of us werent getting out. So I began calling out locations so people didnt miss their stop. When unloading luggage, one guest saw her luggage pushed and rolling away from the van. I stopped it and asked if it was hers. She said yes, she wasnt even out of the shuttle yet to retrieve the luggage that was launched. In summary, I have never been treated so poorly and in the future will go back to Hilton LAX when I need to stay in LA and park. I wont update the stars because its a third party, but hopefully the hotel takes heed.Former ReviewGreat option for Park and fly. Hotel is currently under renovation. Room was fresh and new. Hotel staff are friendly and professional, but cant do anything to address the situation. This place is a solid four stars. It’s a little dated. But it is all around fine for the price. I like staying for a night in El Segundo because of the proximity to the freeway and food. The hotel rooms and hallways were dingy and not up to the standards for what I thought a Hilton hotel would be. The hot tub jets didn’t work which was not too big of a deal but still disappointing. We payed for breakfast with our room only to discover at breakfast that it didn’t include pancakes which is what our kids were expecting, it was an extra $12 per person for pancakes on-top of what we already paid. So on the second night we ate breakfast elsewhere. Also the worst thing was that we left two cosmetics bags in the bathroom on accident and called back soon after check out and they said they hadn’t found anything. So the house keeping staff stole our things and lied about it. I just wonder what happened to honesty and common decency or just lost and found bins. I will never stay at this hotel again and I would caution any travelers to try somewhere else also.

Our group’s feedback is that this hotel is purely average. One room had a clog in the bathroom sink that never got resolved over the course of 2.5 days. Front reception not overly helpful and billing issues still not resolved. Complimentary coffee and water frequently empty. Bartender Bill the highlight of the stay.

Overall very good experience. What really speaks about any hotel or business is how they handle a customer issue. My room was out of hair conditioner. While I’m the lobby, I notified the desk and they said it would be taking care of during the day. Next morning, it had not been filled. It was a bit frustrating. I went to the front desk and there was Terraine. Probably some of the best customer service. Super friendly and he apologized for the mistake (we are all human). He personally saw to it that it was taken care of immediately, ensured I had all fresh towels (I didn’t even ask) and then came and found me at breakfast and comped my meal. He went above and beyond and his fun friendly attitude made my visit a memorable one.

Very comfortable hotel. A small restaurant on the premises. The staff checking us in were fantastic and helpful., The bartender in the evening was not exactly friendly but did his job effectively. The morning breakfast was havoc. Not enough staff members or tables and seats to accommodate the patrons in a efficient or timely manner. But I give the staff kuddos for doing their best. We enjoyed the calm and quietness otherwise of the hotel. Most of the staff members were very helpful and the rooms were large and comfortable.

We stayed here for 3 consecutive nights. The front desk employees varied from nonchalant to somewhat helpful. The restaurant wasnt open regularly because of being shorthanded, but when we did eat there, the food they had available was good. They were actually out of several items. Our server was very attentive, and actually the best thing about the hotel.We stayed in a room on the first floor. The air conditioner worked great, but the bed was very uncomfortable. The pillows flattened out once you put any weight on them, so you couldnt use them to prop yourself up to read or watch TV. We tried but were left with neck and back aches. We did not sleep well at all. The room smelled very musty, and the carpet seemed quite dirty. Thankfully, we had slippers. Some of the towels had holes in them.Im sure this is a very busy hotel since it is only a few miles from the airport, but it didnt seem to completely measure up to the Hilton name. It wasnt terrible, but Id stay at another hotel in the area next time since there are many options available.

We loved the bartender! We got to sit and enjoy a Thursday evening at their little bar in the breakfast area. They also served dinner, which was nice so we didnt have to leave the hotel at all during our 1 night stay. The staff was friendly. Our room was clean. Breakfast food options were good (make sure you purchase a room WITH breakfast INCLUDED.) The airport shuttle was a nice option to help keep costs down on our trip. I wish they would of had the outdoor heaters and firepit going, and had the outdoor seating area cleaned up.

There are just too many other places to stay to encourage anyone to stay here. The carpets are pulling up and bubbling everywhere, the hot tub wasnt heated, and everything felt tired and run down. The breakfast is the same thing every single day. I had issues with the wifi, and the front desk staff was rude and useless. Lots of people have issues with their wifi and their advice was restart your device. Its rated as a 3 star hotel. Its hardly a 2. It was tired, run down and just a let down. I wont ever stay at this location again.

My husband & I stayed here for 5 nights. Ill start with the things we liked. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The pool was often busy but there are plenty of chairs and tables. There is also plenty of space to lay out towels if needed. We also liked the cleanliness of the grounds outside. The entrance, patio area, and pool flowers and landscapes are beautiful. The parking lot was very clean as well. The hotel felt safe and secure. You need a key card to get into the pool, the bathrooms near the lobby, all doors, etc. The location for us was perfect. We could walk to the nearest grocery store (Ralphs), Starbucks, and In-n-Out! There are plenty of beaches nearby but not close enough to walk.Things that we think could improve are the rooms. The rooms are very outdated and could use some extra care. The carpet was sticky- we didnt take off our shoes, the fan or A/C unit had a musty smell, the mini-fridge smelled like fish, and the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. This hotel seems more suitable for a short stay. We will not be returning.

Travelled with family of 4. The breakfast was great! Ideal location about 10mins to LAX/rental car drop and short drive to area beaches and restaurants. Pool area was perfect after a long day exploring; it was green, with palm trees and quite large which is usually hard to find. They are also renovating the hotel in the next year or so, which will make it that much better. Highly recommend.

The room was nice. The service was really bad. The bar tender was really rude and dismissive. He acted like I was bothering him to ask about the kitchen. There was no parking even though we paid for a parking pass. Some of the parked cars looked like they had been there for weeks. Not sure how they are selling the parking passes. The first floor smelled like someone was smoking a joint up and down the hallway. The fitness center was small, lacking and not well maintained. Just an overall unenjoyable experience. I will definitely avoid Hilton in this area next time.

The hotel was nice and clean. The lobby area is very nice to sit in. The furniture is comfortable and with all the windows it really brightens it up! The rooms were perfect in every which way but the comforter is unlike any other!! I cannot even describe how soft and plushy and wonderful it is. The staff is very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. They made our stay perfect! This hotel is close to the airport and the shuttle service is so convenient! Thank you for the great time!!

Around 7am you do hear people closing their doors when leaving their rooms, but the same is true for most hotels. Hot-tub was hot (normal hot-tub temperature), and staff were all helpful. Rooms arent the newest: carpets seem a little old (but clean), and a few dents here and there, but overall very good. Rooms are large and spacious, marble countertops in bathroom, desks/tables, lots of cupboards and drawers. Comparing with prices of other LA hotels, this hotel is still well priced even though the price has gone up and they now charge for parking.

Conveniently located near the airport car rental location, this hotel offered clean rooms, friendly staff, and was overall a pleasant experience. The rooms are a little older, however, it was nice to have an actual bathtub instead of only a shower for once. We were able to check in one hour early as well which was amazing since we were traveling with a pretty restless toddler at that point. Breakfast was warm and filled us up before we headed off to catch our flight. Definitely would recommend and look forward to staying again in the future!

In town for a game at SoFi and stayed here. Unimpressed overall. Upon check-in the front desk was trying to explain charges to us but couldnt delineate between a fee and deposit (for incidentals). Getting an accurate description of total charges was like working through advanced calculus with a first grader.For $200 a night I expect an adequately clean room; our room was anything but. Stains on the carpet, stains on the comforters, such extensive hard water deposits on the shower head it sprayed all over the place. Every time we left the room the entire hallway on our floor smelled like weed. The outdoor patios were littered with drink glasses and trash from the night before. Just generally unimpressed with the conditions of the hotel.Breakfast was decent, but make sure you get a voucher from the front desk or it is a paid service. Location is good for proximity to the major venue (SoFi), but otherwise in an industrial area. Expect a significant walk to get to restaurants and other attractions in the area. They do offer a shuttle to the stadium.....for $40....to take you 5 miles. A Lyft was $12.If you are headed to a game or concert at SoFi, seek accommodations elsewhere.

Be aware this is not a corporate location, this is a FRANCHISE location, so theyll create their own rules when it comes to membership benefits.Corporate locations provide a free breakfast buffet for guests with elevated status. This location gave a $10 credit for registered guests, however their hot breakfast costs more (also know its table service, not buffet) so youll still end up paying something for breakfast.Parking is $20 per night yet the LAX shuttle stops running at 11pm. Let me say first that a guy named Antonio, maybe in maintenance, is the BEST employee there. Full of energy and a bright spark to the day. The hotel needs work and it has a slight smell. The staff is friendly. They all speak. Front desk needs better communication skills. I called before I checked in the first time to ask if I needed to make a reservation for the shuttle and was told no, only to find out when it was time to go that I needed to sign up. I ended up catching a Lyft. Im a Diamond member, no mention of breakfast hours or credit. No comp waters. Whereas when I came back on second visit, they wanted to swipe the credit card (didn’t do it the first time. It was all done thru the app with card on file) and I still had to bring it to their attention that they didn’t give us our credit. There weren’t enough towels the first AND second time for my party of 4. The first time, I was told if house keeping was gone I might be out of luck. That is never an acceptable response. Second time, there was a housekeeper in the hall who refused to give me towels because it has to come from the front desk. They KNOW they only put 2 sets of towels in these rooms. I guess they really expect 4 people to share. On top of that, half the towels were super dingy and should be tossed. The carpet was rolled up, tiles were chipped. When we went to breakfast, they left a place setting on the table from another diner and used their hands to sweep crumbs off the table. They keep the thermostat off. I thought it didn’t work until I realized you have to use the old school version and unless you have it on continuous, it doesn’t work well either. Just wasn’t worth the stay in my opinion. This is the 2nd El Segundo Hilton brand that I have stayed in that didn’t meet the standards. Wonder if it’s the same owner.

If you are staying here or airport parking, please know at this time they do not monitor the parking lot and cannot hire security apparently. They do inform the police, who are overwhelmed in this area as you can imagine. My vehicle was damaged by a transient - he had climbed onto the roof of my vehicle. He also banged on my vehicle as I drove away, and also verbally accosted hotel patrons and the shuttle driver in the street. This is not a safe place for your vehicle, and possibly for yourself, until action is taken.

We used digital check in from the app so we didn’t need to interact much but front desk staff didn’t even acknowledge us at all. We had reservations at the Doubletree in El Segundo, but found them closed for renovations when we arrived. Quickly Googling for some place close that we could stay at and leave our car for two weeks we found the Hilton Garden Inn in El Segundo.A quick drive and we found it and am very glad we did. We explained our situation to the desk clerk and he was extremely accommodating. He found is a room and they have the stay and fly package. He apologized for what happened (even thou it wasnt his fault) and was super friendly.The hotel was nice, very clean and in a great location. The room was perfect! Very clean and spacious. The bed was perfect, not too soft (as many hotel mattresses are) and made for a perfect nights sleep before our cross country flight the next day. They have breakfast on site but you have to pay for it. We opted to just take the shuttle to LAX and eat there after checking in.Our shuttle driver was fantastic! Very friendly! We got into a conversation with him about the famous people he has shuttled in the past, really interesting.Needless to say, we will be staying there for our next flight from LAX. What a difference this Hilton property makes! After leaving the Hilton LAX (check out THAT review,) we lucked into this one. We made the reservation on the phone before leaving that other Hilton, and discovered that this property is only a short 5-minute drive away. The room rate and self-park were comparable to the one we walked away from, but our Ford pickup wasnt too tall to self-park just feet from our side entrance. On hearing our awful experience at that other Hilton, Daniel at the front desk upgraded us to a suite for our four-day stay. Here, every room has a mini fridge you dont have to pay for and a microwave. Theres even a luggage rack that comes without a required bell hop. Dont waste time at other hotels near LAX. The airport shuttle is an UNMARKED white shuttle bus. They have a silly system where you call the hotel, describe what you look like and the driver tries to find you. It didnt work. I’ve stayed at this hotel 3 times now as a Hilton Gold member and I will not be returning and I’ll be canceling my membership due to my experience at this hotel.The rooms are outdated and rundown. I’ve stayed in 3 different rooms and they all varied greatly from each other in the size and quality. Additionally I had to do some work after checking out of the hotel and the staff would not let me use the lobby rest room. I’ve spent over $2,000 at this hotel and to not let me use the restroom after checking out is petty. I do not recommend staying at this hotel, spend your money elsewhere.

I am giving this a 3 star because of the lack of communication from the hotel in general. The restaurant is only open for breakfast, not lunch or dinner. There is nothing that I have found that communicates this. I had to scramble after I got there for meals. I dont eat fast food and that is all that is around the area within walking distance. I was lucky to get a ride to get some prepared foods. I didnt have a rental care because I was expecting to just stay at the hotel for everything for the 10 or so days I was there. Also, it was difficult to get my room cleaned. I asked 3 days in a row. I would have given it a 4 star if these things were better communicated. When I told one of the front desk that there was no communication about lack of restaurant I was given an attitude. Though, she may have wanted to report this so that other guests coming to stay for longer duration know that they cant just eat in house. It was super average and ok. I wont stay there again or recommend it though.

I think that says it all.I personally enjoyed the comforts of the room and the pool.Sure things were not perfect, the lady that checked me in was hopeless, she never relayed any info. A clean, comfortable and nicely landscaped unit of Hilton. I have used the airport shuttle on past visits, but this time I drove in. as rental cars are difficult to get. The room appeared as clean and fresh as on past stays, and I was able to use the Keurig coffee/tea maker with no trouble. Although it was not resupplied, as housekeeping was by request only, the people at the front desk were well supplied to provide more cups and such. This hotel is next to the Metros Green Line Mariposa Station, in an area of offices and commercial buildings. It is within walking distance of Sepulveda Blvd. (which is Pacific Coast Highway on that stretch). Breakfast service only, and parking is $18.00 per day.

Zero Customer service at the front desk. I was charged when there would be a $0 charge for the night I did not stay. I called in to let the hotel know that I will be late check-in around 2:00 am as I was traveling by road with family including a small child. They lied on the invoice and charged me extra which is not shown on the invoice. The invoice only shows one charge but my Mastercard shows 2 charges. This is fraud. The washroom was not cleaned properly and the tub was blocked. My son had a cut under his feet because there was a glass piece on the carpet. I would never recommend this location to anyone at all. Dont waste your money and time not worth it when you are traveling with a small kid.

Worst hotel experience ever! The service was really bad, employees here are not welcoming at all. They barely say hi or any kind words…you can feel you are annoying them by taking to them!There were no towels at the pool so we had to asked them several times to refill while freezing. We usually always do breakfast included and we usually have at least pancakes with it or even more. Anyway we tried everything we could have with the continental formule and everything wasn’t good (all their fruits didn’t taste good at all) so we bring our own fruits and bread after that.And now we showed up at the breakfast late (since it’s our last day so we were packing everything) ans when we arrived we saw the lady set up a table for someone and she told us “we’re closed” (just so you know we have four young kids, she didn’t even show us empathy and offer to give us a little bit of something at least…).Anyway I don’t recommend this hotel at all!! Normally I can count on the Hilton Garden to be a reliable brand. The employees were spectacular as always. The facility was lacking the normal comfortable amenities. The bed was lumpy and squeaked. The bathroom sink was clogged after washing my face and brushing my teeth. I didnt leave the water running. Room service was awful. Only because I was staying one night did I stay in the room. The front desk asked about my stay as I was checking out and were gracious about my issues. I told them I did not want a refund on my meal, so they paid for lunch which was far superior. First… I need to mention that we are Hilton Diamond members, have stayed at Hiltons very often. Stayed here a week. Common grounds and very nice. Rooms need updating...very old. The breakfast was excellent. Parking charge is $18 per day. We have never experienced such a poor staff as at this so called Hilton property. The staff are not worthy of wearing a Hilton name badge. Here is an example...there is a glass door between the breakfast area and the very nice outside patio. Staff gave us several reasons for keeping the door locked. Your pick...due to the homeless or the flies...seriously.On check in, such a lovely welcome…NOT. Lady had a frown, did not recognize our status, did not explain breakfast, did not offer bottled water.As Diamond members, we were upgraded to a suite w a small full kitchen. On entering the room, the kitchen was bare. Not even a fork. I had made several calls in advance to be sure they stocked the kitchen. All promised of course they will do. The Hilton garden inn is a beautiful venue. My girlfriend and I just had our baby shower in one of their banquet rooms and we had about 50 to 60 people who showed up and the staff was nothing short of amazing! The food we had them cater for us was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the room was set up perfectly for us. We did not stay at the hotel but just from our experience with this event, I will definitely book here in the future whether its for an event or just a night of relaxation. They informed me that shuttle service was no longer available, even on booking was advertised, but they offer a car to pick up. Good. I inform them that I have a baby I will need the car seat. The day I arrive I call for the pick up and the say again that they will send me a car with the car seat. I waited an hour . No car arrived . The manage had the arrogance to say that the car seat was not his responsibility. Obviously it was. They advertise on booking the shuttle service, which not require a car seat. They offer me at arrival a car with baby seat at arrival. Make me wait 1 hr and dont deliver. I email few days before to be sure I could reach the hotel without problem. They wait the last second to tell me that they was not able to deliver the service that they offer. I waste so much time energy after 12 hrs flight with a baby. So, I have strong mixed feelings about this location, and here is why.First, the good. They do in fact do everything standardly good that a hotel like this should, and you get what you pay for, maybe better. The rooms are clean, the workers are good hosts and responsive, and the actual room and night’s stay was very pleasant. Here, I would rate 5 stars.The issue however, comes with the lack of transparency, or a left hand and right hand not communicating situation, and this happened with two separate issues, both of which were extremely important to me at the time. The first is that, on a budget, the incidental fee, or lack thereof, was very important to me. I was told on the phone, in three separate occasions, that they did not have one. It is normal to have one at a hotel like this, but the fact that that was sprung up on me, when budgeting so meticulously, was brutal. Luckily I pulled it off, but as closely as one could. Secondly, I was told that the shuttle came every 30-40 minutes or so. Here again, not true. They do have a shuttle, but one needs to call it in, so I was waiting for 30 mins to an hour before I made the call, where I then waited another 30 mins or so. Here again, they are a smaller hotel, and that is common to do, but I was given bad information that would’ve all been easily fixed had I been told accurate information from the beginning. I also had a business meeting which I barely made to on time, about 30 seconds to spare, so, it all worked out, but they really needed to be better about this.I was going to complain later and see if I could get some kind of discount or something, but other than those instances, the workers were great, water ready available, and very responsive, I didn’t have the heart to do so. I am debating staying there again in December admittedly, but due to the issues I had, am debating going to competitors as well.

We have been a Hilton Honors member for many years. On 5/13/22, my husband had a room reserved and on this particular afternoon, my father unexpectedly passed away. When my husband had to cancel his room to get home to be with me in my time of need, the hotel was originally unable to refund our room costs. I needed to return my rental and they recommended I return it at night and then have the shuttle pick me up so I wouldnt have to deal with the company in the morning. This is a Hotel that I have frequently used over the years. When ever I come to the Los Angeles area this where I want to stay. This stay was not that pleasant. We arrived at the hotel around 130 am, we had 9 bags to carry to our room, we asked for a baggage cart and the front desk lady said we dont have any at the moment. So we had to make 3 trips from the car to our room. Then the room had a musty mold smell. I dont think Ill be visiting this hotel again and Im a Hilton hotel fan.

Gym only had two treadmill a cable machine and a dumbbell rack. In a tiny room. First night and I regret my decision on booking this Hilton.

We travel with my son’s hockey team all the time. This was by far the best hotel we have booked in. The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and the exercise room had decent well maintained equipment. After we checked out we realized that we left my son’s hockey jerseys in the room. The front desk went above and beyond to help us out, definitely the cherry on top of a great experience. High recommend staying here if you need a good hotel by the airport.

The walls are unfortunately not very soundproof and I got to be next to a very loud couple who was having a good time.The water pressure is also low so washing my hair was a bit of an undertaking.You can’t beat the location though and the landscaping is just beautiful.

Huge rooms with kereg, microwave and refrigerator. Super clean, upgraded, the first time I saw a sign out sheet for cleaning under the beds. They pay close attention to detail. Front desk staff very nice, cleaning staff is also very courteous.Comfortable clean beds and bedding. They are excellent in thinking...tv with flight updates(arrivals/departures)at LAX in lobby.

Only thing I didnt like was that theres no free parking in the lot; you can pay but the daily price is same as the going rate for LAX-area parking lots for people catching flights. They do the Lysol-guarantee clean; my door had a Lysol sticker on it as I went to open it and even my remote was wrapped up in a Lysol label and the bathroom had a Lysol tag as well. You can put the hanging sign on your doorknob so housekeeping wont bother you during your entire stay. Very comfy bed and pillows!

All that was available to watch was infomercials, HBO family, and some other garbage stations. It was like the owners said, Give me your cheapest package. I stay at this hotel over Memorial day weekend and will definitely not be returning. I booked an early check in time which I didnt think would be a big issue, but I was wrong. The cleaning lady kept coming to the room and asking when I was planning on checking out. Later on that evening, I get a call from the front desk asking me to come down because it was time for me to check out. She informed me that the website I used to book this room only allow me to stay during the day and not overnight. She informed me that I could pay the difference of the total amount bill, which would have been $60, in order to stay overnight (which I did). That night security knocked on my door at around 2 a.m. and told me my room was suppose to be vacant. When I went downstairs to talk to the front desk, he said he had no ideal what I was talking about. The next morning before check out I checked my account and notice four separate amounts ($102.15, $56.85, $79.00, and $29.26) was taken out. I talked to the lady at the front and just told me the previous lady that told me I was only required to pay the difference, which would have been around $57, was wrong. I wouldnt have stayed in this hotel if I wouldve known I would be charged OVER $200. This is modern day thievery, and I will be contacting their corporate about this situation.

The condition of the room we had was dated, the carpet was old, shredded around the door, corners, etc. We booked for a room with a king size bed, got a room with two queen size beds. The positive was the fridge. It actually kept our water and food cold! This hotel is ok for a traveler staying overnight and then to the airport, other than that, Id look elsewhere. The hotel had a breakfast, only if you want to pay for it. Considering the mediocre condition of the rooms, it should have been included.

Ebony the front desk person, has to be taught customer service or they need to get someone else to work the desk. Shes rude, she interrupts, she behaves as if you are bothering her. She seriously made me not want to come back. The room was okay, walls are very thin, parking was good but you have to pay as they also allow public parking. Close to LAX and lots of food stops. 1 mile from the beach was nice.

We are flying internationally and was told there was a shuttle service... that’s why we booked here. They said they’d pick up every 1/2 hour. Well, we got down to the shuttle pick up at 6:25, just in time. 5 min went by and I thought maybe he was running a little behind. At 7 min I went to the front desk to insure we didn’t need to schedule it. I told her we were flying internationally and need to get an Uber if he broke down or what not. She called the driver who told her he already did the 6:30 pick up! We had to pay $25 for a luxury Uber (large enough to fit our luggage) to get to the airport. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. You’d probably get a nicer room at the Holiday Inn. The hotel staff was very nice, that’s really the only positive thing about this stay.My one recommendation for the hotel would be to have a Continental breakfast if you plan on keeping the hotel and the conditions they are in.

Nice place. Friendly staff. Rooms are in good condition. By far the best shower Ive experienced in a hotel. That aside: they put us next to the service doors to the kitchen. It was slamming all night. We also seen on the website that they provide a crib for babies, which wad good because we have a 3 month old. When they brought it we were surprised to see it was actually a mobile play pen for a toddler. Made things really awkward. The staff was nice. One of the kitchen staff saved us a $2.00 delivery charge on a piece of cake because we were literally three feet from the staff door. The $2.00 delivery seems a bit much considering you pay $189+/night. And they dont do room service for breakfast. Its all buffet style for $11.95/person. So if breakfast in bed is your thing (as it is for my wife) then you have to get your food and bring it back to your room yourself. They say they offer room service after 6am but we asked for our breakfast to be Delivered and they said no. Very clean. Close to some decent restaurants. My first stay in a Hilton and I was unimpressed. I wont hold it against the chain.

The sound proof, or lack of, is a problem at this facility. I can hear the men in the room next door talking. I can hear any movement in the hallway and the housekeeper knocking doors. We could not connect to the wifi at all.Dont be fooled with the price. The breakfast is $16 each (plus tax and tip) and parking is $15 per night. For two people or more, you probably get a better deal if you pay a bit more and stay at 4-star hotel with breakfast included.

It is hard to find a great spot near LAX with a park & go package that isnt astronomically priced. So, I was thrilled to find this hotel with a good price for a nights stay and up to 7 nights additional parking. The hotel itself is great - the rooms are a little dated, true - but rooms are large, and comfortable.We were very pleased to see Cynthia at the front desk when we arrived! She was friendly & professional and is an asset to the hotel. She arranged for our Lyft to take us to the airport the next morning and even called us in the morning to alert us to possible delays with our ride. The Lyft service was a definite benefit to staying here, as the hotel shuttle has been discontinued, due to Covid. Cynthia gave us clear direction as to how to get Lyft service back to the hotel when we return in a few days.We would not hesitate to return here when we have to fly out of LAX.

Wonderful place to stay! Easy to catch the Metro C Green Line with a station right outside the hotel. With a fresh made breakfast. This Hilton Garden Inn is a real deal. Its close enough to the LAX airport to easily get there but far enough to avoid the premium price and free shuttle to and from the airport also.

Worst customer service I’ve ever had at a hotel. Lesley at the front desk was both incompetent and rude. No one wants to actually assist anyone. I’m disabled and the hotel shuttle driver HONKED at me getting out of the vehicle with my walker at the entrance. At breakfast the hotel attendants ignored me. I had a hotel customer get up and help me with my plates. We had two tarantula spiders in our room, a false fire alarm at 2:30AM, and construction from 9:30AM-3PM in the room next door. Worst place to stay EVER!

Have been a guest at this hotel a few times in the past and I have to say that its always been a pleasant experience until this time.We were traveling since 3:00am from Tampa, FL. We arrived at the hotel that we had made reservations months ago at 11:00am. We were told that no rooms were available, but to leave our suitcases there and they would call us within an hour when a room was available. No call. 2 hours later, no call. 3 hours later...no call. My husband called to find out what the situation was and he was told that the rooms still werent ready! We decided we were patient enough and extremely tired and just wanted to get some rest, we drove to the hotel and there werewthe front desk girls handing out too keys to guests that had just arrived! After asking why we hadnt been called as promised, she said she forgot. They werent the least bit sympathetic or apologetic. I asked to speak to a manager, the girl that had promised to call us within an hour went in the back and was back there for approximately 5 minutes. He came out with the customer service rep. in tow and immediately started to defend the representatives actions. I told him that its poor customer service and we shouldve received a phone call as promised.He asked us if we wanted a full refund to go stay at another hotel. I told him it was a little late to start looking for another hotel room at this point, being it was after 4:00pm!We finally got into a room and the pillows are so soft, had to ask for 4 more for just my husband and myself!Needless to say, we will never stay at this hotel again!

Do not be fooled by the reviews that were bought. This is a *** hole. It smells like a grease trap overflowing in the lobby and I have had better food at Dennys. No kidding. Read all my reviews. I usually like where I stay. Not here. No king bed as reserved. Oh, and good luck taking the shuttle from that hell hole LAX. My advice is to go straight to the real Hilton on West Century Blvd and bypass this Motel 6 wanna be altogether. The picture of the pincher bug in the tub in my room is my condolences to the owners for being ripped off by your staff. But, you owners are ultimately the reason this place sucks.

This hotel is close to the airport and not too far from the beach. The lobby looks nice and renovated but the hallway looks old and the lighting there was a little dim. I did not live here but my friends didn’t like it..
