2024-05-14 18:36:21Had a lovely first visit with this clinic. Dr. Joesting was kind, concerned, and attentive. Providing a good range of care and information. Daphne, the dental assistant, was fantastic. Warm and friendly and exactly the kind of personality you love to see when entering a new dentists office. The gentlemen who went over costs and the insurance breakdown was thorough and made sure that my insurance was being utilized to its fullest. A fantastic first impression all around!

2024-06-13 23:03:38Beware of this place, they quote you random price for each procedure code over the insurance covered price. When you ask clarification they don’t communicate properly and delay stuff for long time to make you tired. I was delayed for more than 3 weeks for no reason when I received the estimate on mail and they refused to check their provider portal.Simple pre determination process and they tried to charge me more than what was in the predetermination estimate. They deceptively added an item code and tried to act like they already added it in predetermination and insurance missed it. I asked them what is the total cost before booking appointment 3 weeks back and the person clearly mentioned the estimate provided by insurance. Insurance says if it is was added and even not covered, it will definitely appear in the estimate document.I was following up for more than a month now and now I lost hope to actually get treatment from them because now I know they can be lying and steal money.Don’t go here if you have insuranceUpdate: I was at your office this morning. You didnt talk like you will give me a solution.It didn’t seem like a mistake either.

2024-05-12 02:51:50I went in for my crown appointment thinking that my crown would be covered by my insurance. I was never informed of the total cost of the crown, what my insurance would cover and my financial responsibility. I verified with my insurance that the cheaper crown would have been totally covered. I was required to pay $666 instead. My appointment was at 9:00 am and by the time I was finally finished it was 2:00 pm. Later the same day I developed a huge blister on the right side of my lip. Three days later my lip is still swollen. We will not be coming back.

2024-03-25 23:08:40Just finished my cleaning appointment with Miriam. She was amazing! She explained everything that was going to happen and checked-in with me throughout the appointment. I was so apprehensive going in and she made it so comfortable for me. Id give her 10 stars if I could!Ashley and Dericka (at the front desk) were also incredible. We had some great laughs upon check-in and it was easy to schedule my next appointment.Thank you Miriam, Ashley, and Dericka!

2024-04-07 19:59:43I am a 63 year old female in need of ALOT of dental work. I have had alot of dental work done in my younger years (not all good). I felt my experience here was really pretty good. Hygienist doing X-rays was excellent. I felt the dentist was very educated and knowledgeable and gentle, within the scope of his job.I would have preferred filling out paper questionnaire rather that on line. I am just not tech savy, recently had a stroke and the online bit was straining and not a good way to start the experience.All in all, I would refer my friends to this practice if I were asked.

2024-04-16 21:36:50UPDATE: 16APRI was hoping this office would call me back after leaving two messages with their answering service requesting a call-back and then after seeing my previous review and responding to it, but no luck there. Tried calling them again and their answering service told me they tried reaching out to the front desk and no one was available. How can you not be available during normal business hours two weeks in a row? Either catastrophe has hit this office or they are just taking your time and money from a new patient evaluation and refuse to treat you further.INITIAL POST: 14APRWell, the first time I went in on February 7th was great. The front desk, dental assistant, and dentist were all kind and informative. Got my new patient examination and x-rays done with recommendation to come back for future services, however, since that day over two months ago this office has failed to properly send off the pre-authorization to my insurance provider to get those services. After multiple conversations back and forth with them and my insurance they still have not returned my calls to let me know one way or the other if they have been able to send my information properly. I left two messages with an outside service that they are using to answer calls, and so far no response. This was after my insurance provider spoke to someone at the office for thirty minutes walking them through each step for submitting a pre-authorization. Ever since that phone call two weeks ago between the office and my provider, they have failed to return my calls or send in the pre-authorization, as confirmed by my insurance provider. So beware, they may just take your money for a new-patient examination and run with it because they fail to provide follow-up care. I gave one star just because the first time I saw them was great, and based on the behavior from this office it may be the only time.

2024-03-21 21:19:27As others have noted, this business is not honest and actively attempts to charge customers significantly more than they should be charged. Their behavior is reprehensible and you should avoid them at all costs. I was charged double (an extra 1400) on a procedure and had to file a grievance through Delta Dental to get it back (still waiting). Im certain they are doing it to other customers and if you have gone here I highly recommend you check your dental insurance and get your money back for what they surely overcharged you.These people are criminals. Their responses to the negative feedback here is not genuine and they do not care. Its despicable.

2023-12-15 14:47:00Dr Lin and his staff are excellent in taking care of the patient. He went above and beyond to alleviate my pain and ensured I was ok during the whole process. He even reached out to me to make sure I was pain free after the treatment. He is also friendly and funny! His staff are all so nice, they too make you smile/laugh if you’re waiting for him. This really didn’t feel like a normal dentist visit but rather an effortless check up, even though I had 2 root canals and crowns. I highly recommend Dr Lin at Highland Dental Group!!!Cathy is excellent with ensuring your insurance will pay for what they say they will. My insurance tried to reject a service but since Cathy had called to make sure before hand she made sure that I was not out of pocket!

2024-02-16 21:40:48My husband and I moved to Rocklin and have been looking for a dentist in this area. We looked and tried but werent satified. We gHave 2 dental plans and Highland Dental Group acceprs both and thei billing was exceptional. Wonderful gental dentist, friendly and efficient staff. So happy we tried them. We highly recommend thei office. Linda

Cathy was helpful working with my financial aid and rings me up for my upcoming appointments. Thank you Dr. Lin and the entire staff for welcoming me to your practice 💯
