For the only hobby shop to be in the Antelope Valley for RC enthusiasts, Friendly staff. Not a big selection of model kits nor model trains accessories. Since Antelope Valley has a lot of dirt roads/ hills, it is definitely a hobby shop to purchase your first RC vehicle.

New to the RC world and having fun learning but as new as I am I dont want to mess anything up. Peter and Kristine are very helpful I took 2 TRAXXAS to the shop for tuning and they were happy to help and got them fixed the same day. When I arrived for pickup they went over everything that was done and even fixed small things at no additional fees. Highly recommend this place and will recommend to anyone to support our small businesses.

I was having some issues with my crawler. I was able to maintenance and test my RC at their location. The employees are very helpful and friendly. I would give them 10 Stars if I could. Great Shop awesome testing course. Highly recommend them!!

This is a great hobby shop, especially in an area where there arent a lot of them. Most of the store space is devoted to radio control vehicles, but there is also a dedicated area with a fine variety of plastic model kits and related finishing supplies, like paints, glues, brushes, etc. Friendly staff. Worth your visit.

Great place to go for all your RC needs.. The owners are very knowledgeable and helpful. They take time to make sure your getting exactly what you want..Their suggestions are priceless..I live near the other hobbie store and would rather drive 8 miles to HDH...I always leave with a little more knowledge and smile.They have a cool track that you can do some mountain crawling...They rent RCs so you can experience the feeling of these little bad a$s cars..NDB

My son received a racing toy car for his bday and I had no idea how to start it. I reached high desert hobbies and the staff was helpful and friendly. The young gentle man was extremely knowledgeable, he showed my son how to add the gas into the toy car and even offered to start the car for us and break it in at a reasonable price. My sons car was ready for pick up the next day! This place has a lot of racing toy cars for sale, toy aircrafts among other really interesting things. I was not aware of this place until my son owned his own toy car. I was also informed if my sons car is ever in need of any parts they can order them there and repair the car too. They had alot of toy cars there being repaired and having maintenance. If you ever own a racing toy car, I recommend this place for any questions or issues anyone is having with there toy cars!

This place is awesome. the owners and staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. Plus they are not out to just make a quick buck, they are there to make sure you get the right item for your hobby. be it from models to RC Cars, boats or planesthey want to make sure you are happy and satisfied with your purchase. They have an indoor rock crawling area and RC racing on most Sundays. They will also go out of their way to help you learn about the toys your buying.

A little over a year ago I brought an rc boat I bought online that didnt work out the box. Peter opened it up and fixed the electronics for me no charge. I was compelled to come back and purchase a boat that he recommended. A couple weeks ago, I went in and bought a better boat that he recommended. He also looked at my rc car and gave me info on what I should do for upgrades. They didnt have any replacement parts I needed though, but I also checked with other hobby stores, and they dont carry the parts either. I had to order them online. A few days later, I went in and bought a new rc car while Im waiting on the delivery of my parts for the rc car I already have.They have competitive prices, and their knowledge on the rc culture is informative. Mike is very knowledgeable as well. Theyre very friendly, and also have work tables where you can perform maintenance on your hobby. For a reasonable hourly fee, they will work on it for you.

Im pretty sure Ive given a review in the past on this absolutely awesome Hobby Store....oops!...I gave away my opinion.Heres my scoop....the owners, Christine and Peter, are just wonderful people. They are not just owners of an rc hobby store. They are truly rc people and are involved in the hobby community. Every time I go in there, Christine is helping someone or greets you, and Peters seems to always be working on someone elses rig.....I wonder if he ever works on his own rigs(Meaning, Ive been deep in this hobby since 1989, and Id need a break from it).As for the store, they primarily have Crawler/Trail Rigs and other offroad rigs. They also have other race cars, and Ill see a plane here and there......but basically ground-based RCs.If they dont have it, they will do their best to get it.Prices there are at or below internet prices from what Ive seen.There is an awesome rock-course for your crawler/trail rig. Thats the main attraction as you walk in and it covers a lot of flooring. Its by far the best indoor course Ive seen. Id say its best suited for a Class 1 and Class 2 rig.Parking is ok. The hobby shop is off the main road but its kind-of in a weird spot. Hard to explain.Check it out. Its honestly the only hobby shop I like within a 100-mile radius. All the others seem to be lacking product or knowledge or is brand-specific.

I cant say enough about these people, Christina and Peter are absolutely amazing business owners and will go out of their way to help you get what you need and they instruct their staff to do the same. They never pressure you to get what they think you should get, they give you options and let you choose. The indoor crawling course is free, they never charged for your own vehicle, they also offer premium RC trucks to rent for a very inexpensive price. Most of all their prices are unbeatable! It is very rare that youll find someone else or even Amazon with the same item for Less.

Went in with my son to look at the quadcopters. I was greeted a few moments after we arrived and then asked if we could be helped. The employees were both kind and helpful. One young man in particular took extra time to explain the different products and also took pains to find answers to questions he did not immediately know. They even unboxed our purchase and setup it up just to make sure everything was working before we left the store. This is the kind of customer service that I like. Great Hobby Shop.

Unbelievable, terrible customer service. Rude, and flat out lied to me. I have the receipt, was lied to and asked for a return it store credit and was flat out refused. She made a scene and kept telling me how wonderful their store reputation is. She all but called me a liar, and said it was my fault and her memory was perfect.This is third product from them that was either defective, broken, or not as advertised. So disappointing from a small business that prides itself as having “a great reputation.” I’ll never spend another penny there. All over a $90 model jet that I was told had everything in it, soup to nuts to build.She knew she wouldn’t return the item after I bought it. She told me anthing I needed to heard to make the sale. The store is mom and pop looking with a Crawler course and work benches with a decent size inventory but what separates this shop is the dudes who work there they are just so friendly it’s always a pleasure to walk in and see all the different looking RC people hanging out. I go there weekly and highly recommend you try this place for your RC hobby.

I visited high desert hobbies for the first time today after a crawler run with the fault line crawler group. They have a great selection of crawler related goodies along with a great supply of plastic models and many other hobby related things. We really enjoyed the indoor crawler course!! Too bad I live in Bakersfield, I wish we had a place like that here!! Ill definitely go back when Im in the area again👍

My experience there was good, The store itself specializes in RC wheeled vehicles from what i could tell, since I was there looking for servos the stock was somewhat lacking. the customer service was especially helpful, I was presented a lot of options without feeling like I was talking to a salesmen simply trying to get me to just buy something. One time I bought a servo with specs that didnt work with my microcontroller so they accepted to exchange, look over my project i was working on and find the right servos that would work. I also noticed they offer consignment options if your looking to sell hobby related items if thats an interest to anyone reading reviews

They were good at first until I left it their over night because they snapped a bolt in my rc car and they had to take it out over night and when I went to pick it up Monday they said the steering box was messed up and tried to say it was our fault when the day we left it there it was fine and before we left it was working fine and they didnt own up to there mistake and tried to blame it on us and make us pay for it
