I took my custom PC in to diagnose a part failure. They took care of it exactly on time and were able to tell me what went wrong. I would have spent way more money and time trying to do it all on my own. Would highly recommend.

Took in my old surface pro 4 Ive had for +10 years..super slow and was a big headache to even turn on..Edgar was super helpful, thorough with repairs and updates and extremely professional. Im not very tech savvy and was a bit nervous on finding a good place but Hi-Tek Solutions did an OUTSTANDING job!If Edgar and team sees this, thank you guys so much! I am not the kind of person who writes review but this is something cost me money and time, I would not suggest these people to anyone, I am small business owner self employed I have 2 computers point of sale one of them was giving error 513- Front Chssis fane not detected, so I sent it to them and they charged $104 they did not bother to change the 15 dollar fan but instead put grease in there, it dis jot even last 2 months same issue so I took out the fan myself I know that much about computers and turns out its bad fan and back sticker was peeled and put grease in there, If I could I would give them zero stars I ordered a fan from Amazon it was $16 dollars and computers runs like new. Please google YouTube the problem before you even think about going to these guys Theyre rip off.. SECOND week of April it was supposedly fixed by them 1st June it stopped working again.

I’ve never really bothered to leave Reviews, But After my experience here I felt beyond compelled to do so. I use my computer For work and school so you can imagine how stressful it was when it suddenly stopped functioning properly. However, All it took was one visit to not only solve the issue but amongst that, I experienced such wonderful costumer service From Mia. I can’t overstate how She single handedly managed to help me with all my questions, issues and helped to put my mind at ease. I was having issues with my devices being compromised and messed with by hackers most importantly my main phone where I keep all my valuable information. I brought my phone to the hitek team to get it looked at with all the information I could collect Edgar and his team went above and beyond to help as much as possible to give me peace of mind and make the decision to replace my devices since I was kind of unsure of what was really going on. Definitely recommended hitek for their awesome service and to anyone with similar issues. Ill definitely be coming back here if I ever need to! They are #1 in my book!

This place is amazing & I am so grateful for their service. I went to hi-tek solutions looking for help uploading a video to a usb as I was having difficulties, they attempted various ways to upload my video and refused to give up until finally achieving the upload. They understood how important this upload was to me and the time limit I had and did everything they possibly could to make sure I walked out with the video uploaded & satisfied. I took my computer to hitek solutions about a month or so ago because my custom build computer seemed to stop working after like 2 to 3 weeks of use. Once I took the computer and told them what I know about the possible problems they checked it out and told me the problems and fixed it. I will say it took a while to get it fixed but as long as it was fixed I didn’t really care how long it would take. After getting it back and using it for a month I can say for certain they did a wonderful job and I’m happy with the results I got.

They were kind and helpful but theyre were not able to give me a precise diagnosis for my custom pc. I ended just fixing my computer myself. I was expecting them to tell me what part exactly was not functioning properly but the most they were able to tell me is what they tried. For how much they charge to diagnose I at least expected that. I feel as if I shouldnt have been charge the full price since they couldnt report to me what was wrong.

I would say Hi-Tek Solution is a top-tier pc repair place because I recently took my gaming pc to change the case from the one I had to a case I bought because my pc was having issue with the airflow. So they do a great job and I highly recommend them to anyone that needs a pc repair of any kind because they are very nice and trustable people to have them repair your pc.

Customer service is great but unfortunately the 2 month turn around time is terrible!!!!Experience:I dropped off my computer mid-January, and I got a quote in early February. I was told that it would take 2 weeks for materials to ship and 2 days for the repairs. Shipping took closer to a month(I think they didnt place the order for the parts until I called 2 weeks later to check on the progress because thats when I got the shipping info) and then after receiving the parts, they sat on my computer for another 2 weeks, so I called to check what was happening and why they were taking so long. First, they confused me for another customers, after they identified who I was, they said my computer would be ready that afternoon. Annoyed by their lack of responsiveness and their 2 MONTH TURN AROUND TIME, I asked if I could just pick up my computer since I was unhappy. I understand how covid has affected certain industries, but why sit on my computer parts for 2 weeks when the contract explain how repairs take 1-2 business days. If you need someone to fix your electronics ASAP then Hi-Tek Solutions is not for you.I know the owner reads the comments so here is a word of advice, be upfront about how busy you are. If it takes you 2 months to make a repair then say so from the beginning. Dont waist peoples time.

Clearly its a trend. By the reviews and my own personal experience. I had to come back twice, was told to wait a good amount of time and after waiting was told they were too busy just come back later or some other time again (no thanks.) Costumer service was really a joke. I just need two minutes of their time and couldnt even get that. Save the sorry feedback.

I am over the moon happy for the repair of my labtop. My hard drive was failing and I took it in to get it repaired. Was let know off the bat that I needed a hard drive replacement which I went ahead and did. Great response and now my labtop is good as new. Super happy and will for sure be taking all repair needs to them.

They make things right!Took my laptop in to get the keyboards repaired and they did a phenomenal job on repairing my laptop. They kept me updated on the repair status of my laptop, which is always great to know if there are any delays. In addition to repairing the keyboard, they also replaced the screen at no charge since after the repair was made I noticed that there was some residue on the screen that did not come off. After several attempts of cleaning the screen, they wanted to make things right and offered to replace the screen at no charge. Everyone here was kind and really did their best to make things right and they did. I will definitely be coming back and will also be recommending them to my friends and family.

The service was fast and the staff that greeted me was professional, despite me being constantly on their tail because the computer that I dropped off to be moved to an another case was my only computer and I wanted it done as quick as possible. This place seems like it is very good at what it does. The technicians were able to figure out my custom build’s problem, order the necessary parts, and fix my computer quickly.I will say they they could have just called me for my password so they could save me the trip (and the fee) for taking my computer in a second time. This place is a joke. No one there kno3s whats going on. Had ny equipment for over 5 months. Was forced to buy brand new external 5TB hard drive that the owner promised to buy back from me at cost. Turns out didnt even beed to external and owner wanted to buy back external for like $30. Its all a scam and workers keep getting fired so its someone new each time you call. And they dont return phone calls. Go some place ekse for pc techs.

I will preface by saying they will get the job done, but its totally not worth the price. Three years ago I brought My PC. I was pretty sure the motherboard died and I didnt have the confidence back then to do the swap on my own. Brought it to them and they confirmed what I already knew, but for around 60ish 💲💸💰 I ordered a new board and they were going to do the installation, but apparently that caused the CPU to die.. which it was working fine before... I found that kind of suspicious... regardless after a couple days when I brought them the new cpu the repair was completed. FYI, they never updated my bios, firmware, or drivers, or set the optimal ram frequency in the BIOS.... TO be paying people top dollar, you really do expect them to at least bother to go to the manufacturer webpage and update things.....Fast forward three years, this week, I was going to upgrade my CPU, and needed to do a simple swap out of the motherboard, and maybe a new CPU cooler. I thought to myself... Im feeling a little lazy, I wonder how much they will charge. I was expecting like $30 to maybe $60 MAX for a simple motherboard swap and also remind them to actually update the drivers this time...Dude on the phone blew my mind away.. 🤯 He said they would charge minimum 💲30 just to look at it because its a custom build... that sounds silly to me considering there is no diagnosing... nothing is wrong with it, literally just needs the motherboard swapped. Everything is compatible, there was no thinking involved...ON top of that they told me labor was going to be around 💲 109🤑 and that was just their initial estimates. I dont remember the exact total I ended up paying three years ago, but I know it wasnt this much. My motherboard wasnt even worth all of their service fees. Even if I didnt know what I was doing, I could afford to break the motherboard and by a new one (very hard to mess up with this btw) SO I ended up doing the job myself that night.... it really was a simple job.Long story short, there is a lot of scammers in the PC industry. By scamming, I mean that what you pay for is overpriced, like mechanics. Sure they will get things to work, but they wont do a thorough job and it will be wayyyy overpriced.Unless you really really dont know what youre doing (Im talking about someone who thinks deleting an icon is the same as uninstalling the software) it really is better to just do it yourself, trust me, you can do it. And even if you dont know what your doing, I can guarantee that if you post an ad on FB marketplace or any other online platform, there will be some guy willing to do it for way less or free food lol. 😅

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I took my girlfriends laptop there to get the screen fixed because it had some pretty good reviews, so I had some pretty high hopes for it. I took it in and got the free diagnostic which took around 4 days. They let me know that the LCD was bad and that it needed to get replaced. I gave them the thumbs up to go ahead and check the unique LCD number because the technician said each of these computers - hp spectre x360 - have different LCDs, so I cant just order any. The technician had to remove most of the components of the laptop in order to be able to see the unique LCD number, potentially damaging other components. After 3 or more days I gave them a call back. They let me know that they were waiting for their vendors to offer them the cheapest price possible. Three more days passed when I called and told them to continue with whatever cheap price they had. They let me know that it would take approximately 3-5 days for the new LCD to arrive. After the 5 days I called back to check up. They told me that their vendor had sent them the wrong LCD. They had to order another one again, which took another 3-5 days. Another 5 days passed so I called them again. Finally the new -correct- screen had arrived and the old one was ready to be replaced. They let me know that the laptop would be ready for pickup the next day. I arrived the next afternoon and they told me that for some reason the keyboard and mouse were not responding. I waited for about 30 minutes and nothing. They apologized and told me that they would have it ready the next day. I arrived the next day and it was ready - sort of. The keyboard and mouse were still not responding, however they found a solution. If I just close my laptop then open it again everything goes back to normal. They explained that the laptop had a virus and that it was possible that that was what was causing the trouble. They then said that installing windows again might fix it but it wasnt for sure. Since they were only paid to fix the screen they gave me the laptop as it was. They said that they could install the OS and backup my data for under 200, but at that point I was done. I went back home and since my girlfriend was out of town the laptop was left untouched for a little over a month. I recently turned it on and nothing. The laptop will not boot and I keep getting error code: DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG. After a couple of hours of restarting and even unplugging then plugging back the battery, nothing. The laptop will not boot.The fix took about a month to complete. My girlfriend needed it back in 2 and a half weeks. Hi-Tek promised to meet the deadline. I was never updated by them, I always had to call and ask myself. Everytime I wanted to speak with the technician, he was always on lunch. They said I would receive a call back after his lunch was over, but unless they have 3 hour lunch breaks I never did get a call back from them. I always had to call. The laptop all of a sudden had a virus when it wasnt there before. The laptops keyboard and mouse still dont work. Now I will have to get it fixed AGAIN!

My 2TB WD external harddrive that has a little over 1TB data could not open/viewed in my laptop. I browsed everywhere, read reviews and called to inquire. I took my harddrive to this place to see if they can retrieve the data. I dropped it off along with my new 4TB harddrive. I was told theyll call me and send emails for any update/status on my harddrive.It took 4 months! And only able to retrieve 60% data. I paid $625 for the time and how much data they can recover! Ridiculous!I gave them 1 star because of the lack of communications, the time it took, and how much they charge for the percentage of data they can recover.****There was no percentage offered. I even asked and the receptionist decline and said they only give discount on the next service. Imagine how that makes me feel?!

This place is a joke, I had a very horrible experience. I decided to give this place a shot at fixing my computer, and they kept it for a month with no solution switching between a my screen and my motherboard. They were very unprofessional when I called for a diagnostic report, they said it was the screen then changed it by saying the motherboard was faulty. I gave the ok to change the motherboard, after they said the screen was not the source of the problem and the first part they ordered from their vendor had the same damage as mine. Second time around the broke my screen and did not have the balls to take responsibility for it and blamed it on me even though I brought it in with a screen that still showed the display and all of a sudden after a month on them working on it, does work any more if I were you find a different shop and if you decide to give this place a chance, good luck with the headache and CHECK THEIR WORK! Never trusting this place or the two people, (manager and computer tech working on my computer) again.Message to owner and staff take this message as constructive criticism if you want, point being dont say anything you cant promise.

I had a broken fan receptacle on my MacBook Pro 13 (Mid-2012) logic board. I called a few places to see if they could solder it back on. Each one recommended that I just purchase a new logic board which would cost around $478. I was almost resigned to doing just that. But then with a last prayer, I decided to drive over to Hi-Tek Solutions. I spoke with Andy and told him the situation and showed him the piece that had broken off. The way he replied was like music to my ears. Oh, it looks like a simple solder tack. 4 days later (due to it being a holiday weekend) I got my MacBook back and its been running just fine. I also had a bad fan but they managed to get it to temporarily work until a new one could come in. I expressed my concern about it running hot. So when the fan came in, Andy offered to take a look at my heat sync paste to make sure it was applied properly at no charge. This repair saved me $400. I couldnt recommend this place more.
