Interesting park thats also a history site. There are some very large trees here and paths for walking. Theres also native structures and a stream. Theres also a noisy bird house. There are lamps that light up the park at night. Theres two small parking lots and parking is free.

Because they have a show tomorrow, they close the park a day before! That’s not right! They should have it available to the public, not my problem they decided to host someone! And people with attitude aswll, taking 2 spaces at a parking spot ! Never coming back !

Always a joy to visit. I came years ago with my oldest when he was a toddler.Very informative signage everywhere to read easily and quickly. There’s a museum by the entrance that open later in the day and had a model T Ford. There are native people living replicas on the trail. There is an aviary with birds that we well cared for.There’s too much to list and it’s a place to come take a stroll and enjoy the sites. Very much a community favorite as many people were on lunch breaks walking or coming to exercise. Lots of squirrels to entertain little ones’ attention.We enjoyed every part of this place and would definitely come again!

This park is my favorite place to go to. Its peaceful and a great place to relax. A large bird aviary has many birds. Lots of friendly squirrels to see. A native American village, train, beautiful old trees. There are the ruins of a house that burnt down on site also. Lots of history on the boards throughout the park that tells the story of the park and surrounding area.

This hidden park is wonderful, its not really a park for kids to play more of a place to learn of history. There is a museum, a real train exhibit, small village and huge bird cage with many birds. Also the squirles are friendly looking for handouts. Bathrooms are available and clean. I will come here again. Great place for photos.

I love Heritage Park so much, even when I used to come here on a field trip with my class from Olita elementary school in La Habra. I remember walking around checking out the train exhibit, the church, the garden, and the Native American exhibit. I went to Heritage Park when I was seven years old for 20 years in 2003.

What a chill histroical park. Brought my baby here for a quick little stroll and was surprise to see all these historical exhibits. They have a cute little garden with water fountains that gets you in a relaxed mood. Lots of shade areas to just hang out and enjoy the peaceful sounds. Restrooms available.

Cute park. Its in the middle of an industrial area like business park not a neighborhood. Definitely a park to take pictures as it has a little tiny stream of water with a small little pond and rocks and little bridge.It also has a small museum with things from the 1800s with an old model-T car, an old telephone, sewing machine. Things like that. There is a big cage that has a lot of birds you can look at. Theres also some old trains with some history but you can not play on the trains but it says u can rent one out for parties. There are no bikes, skateboards or scooters allowed. Which is why I gave it 3 stars. There are restrooms and they were pretty clean. Also a picnic area with a lot of tables.

Absolutely beautiful treasure of a park! ❤️ It is a private park and requires a permit for photography photoshoots. Just a heads up so you wont be denied from doing a photoshoot. The restrooms were closed at the time we went. But, you can reserve a small gathering of up to 10 people. There are some beautiful buildings here with amazing history. There is a stream, pond, lots of squirrels and a bird exhibit. Plus, it was free!!!

I give Heritage Park 5 stars. Ive never been here before and I have to say very nice open space. Perfect for an outdoor wedding! Scenery was amazing and lots of places to take pictures. Their wedding setup was beautiful and gave just enough light to set the mood.

Heritage Park is very clean, peaceful and at the same time amusing. Many items and memorabilia are also available for viewing, reflecting the early years and development of Santa Fe Spring City. Indoor museum is also located within the park but confirm service hours prior of attending, also no fees are required to enter the park or museum. Picnic area is also allowed within the park.

I Went for the annual Pow Wow but was pretty bored. They have lots of vendors and beautiful items for sale. However, the music and performers were lacking. There was just this one guy talking on the microphone the whole time. We did get to eat some Indian Fry Bread. It was super tasty. They also had BBQ Ribs, Mexican Tacos, and Popcorn. We also checked out the small museum which was pretty cool. No playground at this park. Great for picnics!

A pleasant surprise in the middle of an ugly industrial area. I never knew of this park until I discovered the native American festival that happens here every year. Its a beautiful park with heritage building inside, birdcage and pretty old trees. Worth the visit

Its a beautiful park with so much space to walk around. Lots to look at. The only frustrating thing is the confusing opening time. Originally it was 7am, their official website says 8am, Google says 10am.When you actually get to the park all the signs have been changed to open at 9am. I decided to go around 8am because thats what the website said, fortunately around 8:30am one of the gates was open, but not all. Just kind of strange, especially if youre one to do activities early morning. Thats really the only thing that brought the experience down was not knowing when I could go to the park haha! Sounds silly, but yeah...

Aside from the vintage steam train, there are multiple historic buildings and a descriptive monument for each. There are also some very impressive trees you have to see to believe. Also you will find an aviary with some beautiful birds that call santa fe springs home. The grounds are always very neatly kept and I have yet to find a piece of trash on the ground. You will find the squirrels are even friendly here, I had about 6 at one time eating out of my hand. This is not just a park, its a nature park with pieces of Santa fe springs history well kept for everyone to learn about.

This park was beautiful, calm, quiet, and a neat trip into the history of the area. The train was awesome especially since they allow people onto the train to look at the boiler etc. They had a small food stand as well as water fountain and restrooms, all nice features. I only wish it were slightly more kid friendly. The train was a huge draw and a playground would have finished our trip perfectly.

This little park is definitely a landmark. It is hidden behind tons of warehouses but nonetheless a place you can visit. There is a giant birdhouse with multiple birds species and a small native american hut. You need to check it out if you are ever in the area. You can also reserve certain sections for special events like weddings etc.

This is a beautiful park! It’s a very nice place to bring kids to play because those buildings on the island aren’t just any buildings they’re slides for kids! Plus there are mini water falls and bridges on the island. But there’s one downside the water in the lake for ducks and turtles isn’t exactly “clean” it looks a little bit polluted. But other than that this park is great!

Came out here for a festival and the place was packed.Parking - For big events is not the greatest as you just gotta risk parking at businesses near by.Park - Not one of the biggest park but they make it work with beautiful areas to explore. Cool place for kids to walk around and look at some of the historic displays.Overall chill place and worth checking out, maybe wouldnt come back as I would like something with a play area for the kids.

Its a little hidden away, but well worth going. There are a lot of trees and sitting areas to relax. Its nice and shady and the breeze is nice thanks to the trees. There are a lot of cool things and building to see. The little river is cool to see and the big bird house is nice. The train there is huge and cool to see up close. Theres staff on the grounds, but I didnt see them. Its pretty much a self guided tour and its nice and relaxing.

Heritage Park had a Easter extravaganza with egg hunt for different age groups, crafts and pictures with snakes and lizards, fun for the little ones at no cost. Santa Fe springs does a great job for the community.

Beautiful park, very well maintained and not crowded, had a welcoming feel as soon as I got in the parking lot. Has a miniature aviary, green house and little private garden. Lots of history to be read about here and very relaxing atmosphere. Great park for walking, talking on benches, enjoying scenery, going for a historic self tour or just to enjoy the day!

Ive always loved this park. Historic and fun facts to read through out the park. The carriage house is a museum of antiques. Love the Indian trail and displays. Beautiful fountain area has seating and is very tranquil. Train exhibit is nice to see and has its own restrooms. Come for the summer concerts and other fun special events like antique car shows

This is a great public park. It is small and holds a lot of history. There is a small museum with many local artifacts. There are open field areas where the city of SFS hosts frequent community events. It is very family friendly. No alcohol is ever served or allowed. This phot is from a summer concert. The band is a cover band for No Doubt. Their cover band name is No Duh. Great park for a family picnic or to just walk around and get some fresh air and sun. Beautiful gardens and a bird viewing area.

It was very peaceful with only the sounds of the birds and streaming of water I felt as if I was far from the city with no traffic of car noise and a learning of the history of heritage park was an awesome finding as well. If I were to ever get married I would make sure to have my done here its perfect pretty clean quiet and it would be private. I wish there were more parks like this one

When we first got there, two other families, now there are about 4-5. There are clear signs to follow for a stroll around the park to allow for 6ft of distance. Its clean, quiet, and peaceful. A really lovely place to escape and not feel frightened by crowds.

Ive been doing to this park for years. Its always well maintained, super clean, quiet, and dog friendly. I love visiting the annual Aloha Festival, but after the festivals leave you see the big mess left by the people who dont respect public places. Luckily this place is a hidden gem and those visitors dont return often.

Amazing park! For you train enthusiasts out there, this park has a very historic train exhibition featuring a ATSF steam locomotive, caboose, and painted box car! Beautiful place! Went for the Heritage Of Aloha festival and I loved it! Beautiful trees shading everywhere I go, especially on a hot day its great. Bands were playing, dancers were here, and overall it had everything a regular festival would have. Definitely would come back again.

What do you mean I need a $50 photo permit and then pay $100 per hour to take pictures at this park. Is this for real or was the park employee trying to scam me? Im not a professional, nor want to make money from my pictures. It was just a simple photo shoot for a small video I wanted to make to promote my Instagram page. I wasnt aware I would go broke trying to make it. Paying for equipment and making time for this shoot was hard enough. Santa Fe Springs city or whom ever makes these decisions are just thieves. Ill take my business elsewhere.

Beatifully maintained and landscaped. Bathroom facilities were open, clean and well lighted. Several wooden tables present that were clean with bbq facilities available. Nice place for a walk on several pathways present with an aviary, with many birds there and a train exhibit. While theres no kids play area it is not immediately surrounded by busy streets. Seemed very safe to lets kids roam freely, within reason.

A great park to take any child who enjoys trains. They have a Baldwin locomotive for kids and adults to board and tinker with valves a bell for ringing. Plenty of shade and seating is available throughoit the park. The latrine is well maintained. A museum, nature trail, wind mill, and fountains offer plenty of history about its early settlers. There is plenty of parking and events held here are worth visiting. A++++

This place is beautiful. My wife and I were married here two years ago and we recently attended a friends wedding there last week, and its still wonderful. Far enough off the major streets to be quiet and serene. Great place to get hitched too, we were really happy with the whole experience, as well as the relative value in comparison to other similar venues.

Homey and historic, this park is a great place to walk your dog around and enjoy the history of the place. Originally a ranch built in the early years of Santa Fe Springs, the farmhouse and trains are still upright. In the morning and afternoon, there is a cafe that serves brunch and other sorts of food.

I have always loved this park lately the staff in the park seem to young to care for the park i had my family there yesterday and when we went to the bathroom there was people having loud sex my kids heard them and we looked for the park ranger, there was other people that said the ranger already new about it... When the couple came out the ranger just did a walk by didnt tell them to leave or anything as the couple continued to make a display the ranger just watched from his window then went to follow 3 ladies at the parj and must had made them feel uncomfortable cause just as fast as they walked in the park they looked bothered and walked right back out... Smh they need to get people that take this kinda job serious. There is family and children walking around this park its not a hook-up place!

Love, love, love this park. It is so breathtakingly beautiful. Back in 1989 I had my wedding there in front of the greenhouse. And it is just as beautiful now as it was then.
