Helixstorm in Irvine

As a private Christian School serving 900 students in grades PreK through 12th grade opening in the Covid environment brought challenges not only from a safety perspective but from a network perspective. Since we were unable to open in a traditional manner we opened as a remote learning center. Students were welcomed to our campus to distance learn in our facilities from faculty who were teaching on line. We quickly realized that our old network was not going to allow us to keep up with the demand on our infrastructure this new environment was going to create.We were faced with the need to replace our existing network with a limited budget and with an unrealistic time frame. We had worked with Helixstorm before on some smaller service and break projects but not on a project of this magnitude. We reached out to Helixstorm and they responded quickly to engineer a network that would support our projected needs, allow for us to grow and that worked for us financially.The account mangers assigned to our project kept us updated on the status of the project frequently. The Helixstorm team worked extended hours to shorten the project timeline in an environment where the network equipment was hard to come by because of the increased demand on systems everywhere which put more pressure on their team to get the equipment in service quickly when it arrived.As with all projects there were some surprises along the way. The Helixstorm team managed those well and worked hard to minimize the financial impact of those changes for us.To summarize we are very pleased with the final product and the service we received from a very professional Helixstorm team. They will continue to be a valuable partner to us in the future.
