Helix PC provided the most fair priced combined with the most professional service. Garnik has an excellent attitude thats focused on problem solving. I had some trouble finding parts, he found them for me. I had trouble figure out software, he showed me what I was doing wrong. He never said he couldnt help, even when he didnt know something he said Ill figure it out and get back to you. Its seldom you meet people in this business that are really so well rounded and so professional. Thank you Helix PC for building my beautiful beast of a PC.

I really needed a PC fixed so I could get my work completed, and I couldnt complete the repair on my own. I called Helix PC and I was asked to bring the PC in so they could take a look at it. The problem was a bit complicated and needed parts and some case modifications, and when I expressed my sense of urgency, it was met with empathy and I wasnt turned away or told that it wouldnt get done on time. I am so grateful for Helix PCs help, they really went above and beyond. If you need anything done for your PC and you dont want to treated the way they would treat you at Best buys geek squad, like another number, COME TO HELIX PC. Trust me, you wont regret it.

I spent several hours reading through reviews on PC repair shops around Burbank / LA. The amount of helpful reviews I came across about HelixPC is the reason I brought my PC into this shop. I wanted to add my review and experience to hopefully help others make a similar decision.I had a gaming PC that had become very unstable and would crash often. I brought my PC to see Gar on November 8th and got it back November 10th. Haven’t had a single crash and my PC is running (maxed out gaming & work/video editing) better than the day I assembled it. Gar is very passionate about the work he produces. We talked for a solid 30-45 mins the morning I dropped it off about every solution / scenario. Gar was very honest, clear, and thorough from the moment I dropped off the PC to the time I picked it up. I would come back to Gar in the future and will recommend friends and family to do the same!

My Samsung laptop is almost 10 years old, and was in need of TLC. He upgraded Windows 10 to Windows 11, cleaned the entire computer, replaced the fan and installed a new Blu-Ray burner disk drive as an upgrade to replace the DVD drive that was getting noisy. He installed all the necessary software and had everything finished within 36 hours. Knowledgeable, personable and dedicated to his craft - I would strongly recommend this business to anyone.

Need to upgrade or switch out some parts in your PC? Gar at Helix PC IS THE PLACE TO GO. I just got my PC less than a week ago and wanted to upgrade my fans with a new color and added RGB. I’d consider myself pretty tech savvy but more software than hardware and did NOT want to mess anything up. I messaged Gar online and he said bring it in after the weekend and gave me a quote - told me it could be done SAME DAY by end of day.I brought it in and he honored the price he quoted me (I originally had asked for 1 fan but then brought 2 and he worked with me on the price change - it was perfect). THE SWEETEST MAN EVER. Said it would be done by the end of the day and I left, I get a call not even 2 hours later telling me it’s ready !!!!!!I can’t stress how AMAZING of a job Gar did on my PC. I am blown away. I had a little trouble rebooting back but just gave Gar a call and he walked me through the small steps to get it working… and TADA!! fantastic. Fans running great, RGB working well with software - job well done. Any questions you have, he’ll have the answer or will work with you to find a solution. Outstanding service all around. He really knows how to work with customers and how to work on your computer. Prices are out of this world and the service is even better !!!!! Gar is the best I’ve been coming to Helix for 5 years now and it’s a great experience every time. My laptops fans were having problems and I was experiencing random freezing with the laptop. Brought it in to Gar and he suggested we replace the thermal paste as well as clean the insides of the laptop and the fans because they had built up a lot of dust over the years. Problem solved and with a very fair price my laptop is back to great health and working great. There’s very few people like Gar who are so genuine and passionate about their work and honest with customers.

So I had my computer guy (from my work) do a transfer from my old boot drive to a bigger SSD and when I got it back I had not display on my GPU. So I was thinking it was bad GPU but had to be sure, so I took it over to here come to find out its a bad motherboard, apparently my other computer guy must of short circuit the motherboard dont know how he did but it happen. Garnik help me out with a new motherboard a X570 MSI Gaming Edge WIFI ( Had a X470 Arous Motherboard) and I was able to keep my windows and all my stuff. The price was reasonable and Garnik was awesome and quick. Last time I ever let some guy at work touch my computer again. Highly recommend if you need a build or fixing your PC.

Best person to build a PC with. I built one with Garnik 6 7 years ago, he gave me a lot of great recommendations that saved me a lot of time, and he was very fair with his rate given the amount of time he put in helping me.Recently I contact him again because I wanted to upgrade my graphics card, and he was helpful once again. Garnik is awesome. Besides being quick and VERY knowledgeable in his field, his diagnosis of my PC issue was very thorough. He even found a few hardware errors done by the original store who built my PC. He fixed those small issues with no charge, and fixed my main issue with emphasis on quality and time. PC was in and out of his shop in 2 days.Im a bit tech savvy myself and usually troubleshoot all problems on my own. This time was a bit complicated so it was my first time going to a PC shop. First time going there….the owner Gar was very kind, professional and forthcoming with information about computers. He was very amicable and very fast. I own a relatively sophisticated PC that was build in the Pacific Northwest (2015) specifically as a “Digital Darkroom” for my photography business. Twelve hard drives full of digital imagery! I began to have problems with the system stability and finally a motherboard failure. I brought the tower to HeliX PC and dealt directly with the owner Garnik. He is one of the nicest, most knowledgeable computer technicians-wizards I’ve ever met. He redesigned my system so I could use a number of the working existing parts. I wasn’t ready to jettison my entire system so he rebuilt it so I could still use the internal SSD drives and access the data. Garnik took the time to select the components that not only would worked with some of my older equipment but made sure that the new system would “rock” based on my current photography needs. If you game, or have requirements for power and speed to crunch heavy data or media I would definitely buy a new system from HeliX PC over the “off the shelf “ stuff. If you have a problem with your system and can bring it into his shop in burbank, he WILL figure out what the problem is. Thank you Garnik!

I went to HeliX PC to get my computer fixed and upgraded. I had originally built this PC but ran into some issues with the cooler and motherboard, so brought it here. The pricing is very good. They fixed my cable management, cleaned motherboard, Updated bios, installed/moved fans, and installed an air cooler all for 100 dollars! Other places for PC Upgrade had priced it at around 250!! It was also very fast, they got it done in around 2 days.They really know what they are doing. I brought in the PC and told him I needed the motherboard cleaned and fans and cooler installed. I had originally planned to put these fans in other locations, but he gave me some good advice on airflow and adviced to put them different places. Very knowledgeable!In conclusion, I highly recommend going to this place for any PC related issues or needs. I will definitely be going back here if I have issues with my PC again.

Im so lucky to have found HeliX PC through a friend and once I read Yelp reviews I came by! I came in with both my work and personal MacBook Airs because both were overheating and shutting down and I had no clue why. Garnik repaired the thermal paste for both laptops within minutes and since then, both my laptops have been working to perfection! Neither overheat or shut down anymore. Im so impressed!! Garnik knows everything from Apple to Dells to towers, etc. I finally found a credible source for all my computer problems and needs. Best pc repair shop ive been to in years. Gar is a super chill honest guy. I actually brought in my laptop originally because it was having touchpad/keyboard problems. I told Gar that i make music and was in the market for a desktop and he happened to have a used HP Z820 Workstation for sale. I came in the next day and he let me test it out as much as i wanted so i downloaded Ableton and a couple other programs to see how itd perform. I mustve been there for at least an hour just testing it out and he was really chill about it. I ended up purchasing the PC for an awesome price and he even threw in an awesome gaming mouse & light-up touchpad at no charge and he even put a brand new wireless card in at no extra charge. I also picked up my laptop from him today and its working way better than before (no touchpad/keyboard errors). This guys is the absolute man, i couldnt recommend him enough!!Update June 2019:The pc i bought just started not booting up for some reason so i made a call to Gar and told him about it. He had me bring it in for a quick inspection, called me the next day and quoted me a very fair price. Turns out the pc had caught a virus since i had been putting off getting antivirus. My fault haha. Gar got me up and running with a new copy of Windows in no time and we called it a day by doing a little Street Fighter tournament on the arcade machine. Gar youre the absolute man thank you for everything!

HANDS DOWN BEST PC SHOP IN LA!!! Dont wait and go head take your pc to Gar, he will make sure your pc gets back to your hands the way you want it. Hes an expert and can literally fix anything on your pc from software to building a brand new pc for you!!. I took my brand new pc that I built myself (#1mistake) because it wouldnt turn :(. I did everything I could to try to fix it myself (#2mistake) but it was something I wouldve never imagined it was in the other hand Gar spotted the issue right away. It was my pump cooler!!!! It didnt work even when it was a brand new cooler.. Now how in a million years I wouldve guessed that!?!?.. no way.. never.. Gar fixed it within few hours . He replaced my aio with an air cooler and at the same time he installed windows and other programs he knew I needed and were essential for the my brand new pc. Prices are very affordable.. Absolutely amazing! My PC is like got cancer. I took it to 2 places to no avail. One replaced the hard drive but the problem reappeared a week later. Another one straight up offered to do the same thing. Both did not have anything else to think of after their solution did not work out.

Amazing customer service explains everything you need with multiple options to choose from. My custom build came out amazing and exactly how I wanted it. Great place to make a customPc or getting you computer fixed.
