I met with Hearing Specialist Daryl Carrillo at the La Verne Center. It is seldom that one meets such a professional who is so helpful and knowledgeable in her field. She took the extra time to explain the hearing test process and new technology in hearing aids. She provided me with an operating manual prior to receiving the hearing aids to review and become familiar with the new features. I appreciate her help and look forward to working with her in the future. Outstanding employee and service.

I was having a small issue and was able to get in very quickly to see Daryn. The problem was resolved quickly and she cleaned both my AIDS and the case. Its always a pleasant experience to come in and see her and efficient Lupe at the front desk.

OMG. What an extremely great service. HearingLife Hearing Aid Center in La Verne was able to fit my family member in for an immediate need to check and repair the hearing aid charger. Daryne, the hearing aid specialist was able to provide the necessary check of the charger. She was able to do a complete hearing test and make recommendations. My family member was so impressed, she returned later that afternoon and purchase a new pair of hearing aids. My family member is over the top happy with HearingLife in La Verne but also her new perfectly fit hearing aids. Thank you for your amazing services. ❤️

Daryn Carrillo was very patient with me during the exams. She took the time to explain the exams. When it was time to pick a hearing aide set, she took her time explaining my options that the insurance would cover. I highly recommend this office and Darn.

Darrin, the hearing aid specialist, was astoundingly kind and nurturing (which I’ll admit was surprising for this line of work). I was nervous about possibly having hearing issues and she reassured me and provided great care. Very smooth process and everything worked out. Glad I came here! :)

I’ve been coming here for fifteen or twenty years and since a few years before I actually got hearing aids. Under both the former proprietor, Mary, with her lovely poodles and now Daryn, it has always been a comfortable, low-pressure place offering great service and long term care. And Lupé is a charming and efficient office manager. Put it all together and it always feels like visiting with family.

I had a problem with understanding just one persons speech. Without much hope for a fix, i made an appointment with Daryn and brought my person. WOW best thing i could have done. Daryn diagnosed the problem and created a unique program for my person, who i can now understand perfectly. Thank you SO much Daryn! You have immeasurably improved my life!

I went in to pick up a repaired HA. I also had problems understanding to many words. Darin did many tests. Both ears the same as before. She did a test for word recognition that was not good. That found a drop out around 3k hertz. This is the top of the speech range. She adjusted for that. Now my speech comprehension is near perfect

Darrin was polite, courteous, and most of all helpful! She genuinely wanted to help me get the most out of my hearing aids that I had purchased from some one else. Prior to seeing her, everyday I had to go into my app to adjust the settings so I could hear. She was easily able to set my default to something that worked for me. Something my previous person was unable or unwilling to do. I now have a car setting which I am thrilled with! She upgraded the RIC portion to be more powerful so I have room to go up further on the volume if I need it. She is truly an expert in her field adept with working with many different types of hearing aids. If you want a truly individualized experience with some one who wants to help you to hear, you will want to go to her! I am very happy with the adjustments in the settings that she made. I will be going to her from now on! The 45 minute drive is nothing to be able to have some one adjust the hearing aids properly, listen to your input, and help you hear properly!

Great personal service & a large variety of hearing aids to fit your needs & budget. My hearing aid internal part was sliding in when I tried to change my wax guard and I was going to a movie so I drove up to hearing life early and they fixed the problem This was on July 12th 2023. I did not have an appointment but she squeezed me in and I got to my movie on time! Excellent service Ive been going here since I moved to San Dimas over 8 years ago!

My wife had 1 hearing aid stop working and we are from out of town traveling through. We came here and they were so nice. We thought it would have to be shipped out for repairs but they fixed it right on the spot.We have had a few past experiences with HearingLife locations in other cities and every time we were treated very well.

Lupe was kind enough to call me last week and remind me to arrange for a cleaning and a testing, I called Lupe back and was able to get an appointment the next day. Darrin did the testing and explained the process of the testing. After the testing Darrin explained the results and I left the office satisfied knowing that I am not just another patient. I C will always recommend this facility to anyone who has a question about there hearing,

Love the people, love the convenience. My only issue is that the front door is always locked. I totally understand the safety issues, but there needs to be something done. Put up a doorbell, or get with the other businesses and hire a security guard for the center. Makes me frustrated every time I have to pound on the door to be let in.

What a joy it was to find HearingLife Aid Center! Daryn Carrillo is the one whom I see for my hearing aid needs and concerns. I can tell that Daryn really cares for her patients, their ears, and her work. No problem nor question never goes unadressed and is taken care of. She is very patient with me. All of the receptionists are very friendly too. The drive is worth the trip....I live in Barstow.

After three years of coming here for service and parts we will no longer be patrons. We were just turned away from a scheduled appointment and basically told not to come back when we attempted to reschedule. My wife, a very young woman to have significant hearing loss, was humiliated and in tears.We scheduled an appointment to assess and optimize hearing aids, a paid service, and arrived on time. We were told that they were a bit behind schedule so we waited in the lobby. We had explained what the appointment was for when we made it. When we were asked what it was for, we reiterated. We were told by Mary, the former owner and current technician, that she was over it and didnt want to deal with it. She later extended that disinterest to a rescheduled appointment. I very politely tried to de-escalate the situation. Once I realized that was not possible, we left calmly and as we were exiting she said you can complain about me all you want, I just dont want to do it. I told her there was no need for further abrasiveness and sarcasm. Ironically I had no intention of complaining to that point, but her snide comment and, of course, the humiliation my wife felt pushed the situation much further.Mary apologized momentarily but then qualified her apology by restating her unwillingness to perform the service. At one point she also said that she didnt want to perform the service because we didnt buy the hearing aids from her, which has never been a requirement for service. Of course we did not, even with a limited promotional price her price was nearly triple what we ended up paying with our previous provider.What a petulant and unprofessional attitude. Extremely disappointing. To see my wife crying in the car is not something I will soon forget.
