Hearing services of Santa Barbara is pricey, but worth it. You will be fitted properly and HAPPY with the results. Also, unlike Costco, they carry the newest hearing aids with AI technology. You will be very happy with the hearing that you get when you go there.

Knowledgeable, friendly, helped with choosing the right hearing aids for me. The model they suggested is comfortable, virtually invisible, and I now hear things I didnt know were there. The birds singing especially! And I no longer say what did you say? 15 times a day!

Audiologist Mary was amazing. She really listened and took copious notes. She shown such kindness as I struggled with the hearing test. But in the end she referred me for a cochlear implant test. I will be getting one for my deaf right ear.

Absolutely wonderful experience with Dr. Fletcher. We went to a small hearing aid center earlier in the day where there are salespeople but not doctors and it made me feel even more infinitely grateful for Hearing Services of Santa Barbara and Dr. Fletcher. She went above and beyond to get hearing aids urgently for my grandfather, and had amazing bedside manner in the process. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment here, take it immediately!

Staff is very pleasant and helpful. I was able to get an audiologist appointment very quickly. The audiologist, Nicole Mungcal, was very helpful and explained what she observed in the testing. Definitely will be back as I am in need of a new hearing aid.

I am not a patient but a walk-in customer. I was in need of new earpieces for my hearing devices. I was greeted by wonderful staff and they not only replaced the earpieces... but they cleaned and serviced my hearing aids... all for the price of the replacement pieces.I know where I am going when I need my next hearing test and replacement hearing aids!

Hearing Services is a very professional company, and if I needed to do everything again, then I would still use them. If I have problems, it is very easy to contact them, and the problems are quickly fixed. This is a big plus to me.What I like is the service and the periodic meetings now dealing with the adjustments on the hearing aide to further optimize its use for me. I have the in the ear version which they recommended since I wear glasses and I am a fanatic about wearing a protective mask.I am an older person, and friends and family pressured me to get new hearing aides to make life bearable to everyone. It took some time and great patience for me to solve the problem. Hearing Services was a big help in this,.

I experienced super service matched with excellent competency. Starting with the Appointment, I needed to get results quickly in order to have them for consultation with a surgeon. They worked me into their schedule knowing they were creating difficulties at their end. Next, the 2 hour balance test was arduous and uncomfortable, yet they supported me ALL the way with tips about how long each subtest would take, articulated what was important to concentrate upon, and kept me relaxed with constant updates about how far along we were. Super Professional and calming. Results were shipped out in a timely fashion and both Consultations I needed had the results before I arrived.

Because I have unusual small ear canals and one that is not straight, I have been told in the past that I would have great difficulty fitting a hearing device, so I hesitated going in for another (over a year later) hearing test and consult. These women were fantastic. The audiologist was so detailed and professional. She recognized the problem and worked with me to solve it. I have every confidence that. I will have my hearing of a level ideal for me, ( at a great improvement), and that they will take care of my needs no matter what. A wonderful, caring and very professional experience . Hearing Services and Anne Burre and Staff have provided outstanding hearing services to my family for more than 15 years. We tried other providers before discovering Anne and none came close to Annes high level of expertise in helping patients choose hearing aids and setting them. She is a perfectionist and will not give up until the patient is as comfortable as possible. The staff are just as responsive to the needs of patients. They are the best in the area and came highly recommended by several doctors. You will not find anyone better.

I selected these folks hoping they could me assist with the selection of new hearing aids. Mine were 8 years old, and my hearing had only digressed with time. Also, I correctly assumed the technology had significantly improved over the past 8 years.I was connected with Ann Burre, my audiologist, in the Santa Barbara office. Ann did an awesome job of thoroughly testing my hearing and recommending the most appropriate aids for my specific situation. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and user-friendly; above all... a great listener (no pun intended).Ann also covers their Solvang office on Tuesdays, and this is half the distance from my home. I am extremely satisfied with my new hearing aids and with Ann Burre. Highly recommend these folks. tom

I purchased Oticon Hearing Aids through Hearing Services of Santa Barbara with a 50% contribution from Blue Cross--About $3000 out of pocket. During Covid I lost two hearing aids because of entanglement with my face mask. So I stopped wearing them. When the mask restriction were relaxed I tried wearing them and they were dead. Hearing Services sent them back to the manufacturer twice and they were repaired at no cost to me. I am now happy to wear them and Hearing Services has great customer service. I walked in a couple of times to have adjustments made. The Audiologist came right out and helped and had a very pleasant disposition. This organization is very professional and helpful. The receptionist Steffany handled multiple calls from me and handled them without complaint. I would recommend this firm because something always goes wrong when ordering Hearing Aids for the first time. They followed up immediately. Also, the fee for lost hearing aids was $150 each. Hearing Services handled this with Oticon and did not attach a fee of their own. If I didnt get all this service I doubt I would be wearing hearing aids today. They totally eliminated my fear apprehension of wearing them.

Seniors beware.Absolutely one of the worst experiences Ive had with any customer service related company. They truly dont know how to do their job. They are inconsistent and unreliable. The manager Danielle is genuinely abrasive and dismissive. She does not wish to figure things out or to solve problems merely to hang up. Completely unprofessional and incompetent, I have no idea why anyone would keep anyone like her employed. They do not stand behind the products they sell nor over the services they offer.My 95-year-old mother felt bullied by their receptionist when her brand new hearing aids malfunctioned. They tried to blame it on her rather than taking responsibility for selling shoddy merchandise.When I voiced my concern, no one including the manager and audio technicians has felt it important enough or necessary enough to call back. We spent thousands of dollars just a few weeks back and they do not stand behind their products. Or themselves.Beware of this company. They want your money they dont want to give you what you deserve in return.0 out of 5.My elderly mother is afraid of these people. Thats the kind of staff they have.

My father recently moved to Santa Barbara from Northern California and with COVID had not been able to get his hearing aids fixed. He could not hear anyone and moving into a senior living facility without being able to hear was not a great way to start. I brought his hearing aids to Hearing Services and the audiologist rebuilt them and repaired them while I watched. Amazing service and kindness. I cannot say enough about what these folks did, including working through their lunch hour to make sure my father could hear. He can now hear everything! My mom can’t get be,ie e it! Initally I was referred to Hearing Services of SB by Your Hearing Network who had offered a 40% discount on premium hearing aids. There was some confusion on my first visit between the HSSB office and Your Hearing Network. I was told that the office would call me and let me know if they would accept the discount provided by YHNetwork. After 2 weeks went by I called on the status and they told me again they would call. Another two weeks went by with no response so I had a rep from YHNetwork call the office. That same day I recieved an email from the HSSB office stating that they had approved the discount and to come in for a 2nd appointment. After that, it was very smooth sailing. Dr. Ahuja has been very attentive and supportive. She asked all the right questions and answered all of mine. It is a very professional setting. The hearing aids arrived within a week. We have worked very well together. Dr. Ahuja is very personable and has been very patient in helping me get used to the aids. I feel comfortable in knowing that I can call her whenever I have a question or have a problem with my hearing aids.
