I am very happy with the company Hearing Experience located at 701 Palomar Airport Road. Walter’s professionalism and friendliness is much appreciated. I wasn’t keen on getting hearing aids but Walter was very thorough in explaining what the test results showed. It was like night and day, had no idea how much sound I was missing. Walter goes beyond what I expected, making sure the aids were comfortable and the fit was right. I highly recommend this office to anyone needing hearing aids.

Moving from a hearing loss to wearing hearing aids is a gigantic step, and Walter and Suzanne made the transition smooth and enjoyable. Walter led me with little baby steps so I wasnt overwhelmed, and they are both readily available for questions and support. I chose this place just by research online, and when I said I didn’t have insurance they were very generous in offering me a package!The hearing aids are the Signia brand: they are verycomfortable and have eliminated the ringing in my ears!The last few weeks I felt like my hearing was getting much worse and that made life much more frustrating and challenging!Today Walter Kelly worked his magic on the computer and now my hearing aids are more finely adjusted to fit my needs!I feel better and sounds are coming in louder and much more clearly!Thank you Mr. Kelly!

Walter and Suzanne are the perfect duo in the hearing aid business. I was very reluctant to take the step to get hearing aids at age 80, but have had the best experience with them. Walter has been great from finding the right hearing aids for me to adjusting them to meet my specific needs. They made me feel like family and are easy to contact by phone or to get in for an appointment. My life has changed so much for the better now that I can hear my granddaughter, friends, family, TV, sounds in my environment, and conversations in crowds and sporting events. Brought my dad in who’s had the same pair of hearing aids for over 12 years. Within 45 minutes we had done a hearing test and had him fitted with a new system that was reasonably priced, and more importantly my dad was very impressed by! Walter is very personable and easy to talk hearing aids with, and Suzanne is so sweet and will take care of you. We will definitely be returning soon!

THE HEARING EXPERIENCE was recommended to me by HERE.COM for local audiology services and free hearing test. An appointment was set and the first hearing aids were ordered for me to try. This is when I first met Mr. and Mrs. Kelly and learned of their family owned business. Walter Kelly Sr. informed me he had nearly 40 years experience in audiology and hearing instruments. He has a great sense of humor and put me instantly at ease. Hearing test was shorter than I anticipated taking only about five minutes for each ear. He explained the in-canal hearing aids which HEAR.COM had recommended for my first try. Mr. Kelly indicated that he thought they would not be right for me but I could try them for a week and he would order another model which was behind the ear style with Bluetooth capability and rechargeable. And when the behind the ear model came a week later he explained everything fully and made sure in the office that I could insert them, that I understood my mobile phone‘s interaction with them, the various programs, and how to care for my new hearing aids I had the feeling that if I had needed an hour of help he would’ve gladly given me all the time I needed and sincerely wanted me to be happy with my new purchase. I would highly recommend THE HEARING EXPERIENCE to anyone seeking solution to hearing loss.

My husband Bruce has needed hearing assistance for many years! Just last week after receiving a flyer in the mail, I called and made and appointment for him to get seen. Meeting Walter and Suzanne was the best thing to happen to Bruce and me. Walter worked with him and got him set up with the best hearing aid assistance ever! Walter answered every question easily and, simply for me, and got Bruces hearing up and perfect in a matter of minutes after his hearing test and hearing aids were fit. As I mentioned, Bruce hadnt been able to hear well for many yea! What a blessing it has been to find Walter who knows everything about hearing issues and how to fix them. I was referred to My Hearing Centers about two years ago for a hearing exam. The exam was extensive and my results were explained to me in a very professional manner by Walter. He made several recommendations about hearings aids and I chose a more expensive brand when I was informed the purchase could be financed. Following the purchase, I was asked to return in a week to check on my progress, and some adjustments were made. I was supplied with batteries and other accessories for the aids with instructions. I returned the other day for a check on equipment, and Walter did some maintenance, plus a new supply of batteries. Both Walter and receptionist Suzanne are very professional, friendly and accommodating local business people and I would refer them to others who are having hearing issues and are seeking honest options for there own needs.

After my family began complaining about the volume on the TV and radio, and me saying “huh” repeatedly I realized my hearing was not what it once was. I discovered this company that has been a great experience from my very first contact. Everyone is very professional and helpful, they have a delightful staff from the lovely ladies that greet you to the auditory specialist that is knowledgeable and patient in dispensing the hearing aids, they are top notch all the way! Walter and Suzanne went out of their way to help me in my predicament. I woke up one morning, and one of my hearing aids did not work. I am 52 years old, and I greatly depend on my hearing aids for the ability to hear during 30-40hours a week of meetings in my profession. They closed at 5 pm that day, but they stayed open an additional hour just for me. Walter Kelly had it fixed in 5 minutes. I have never met them, but they went the extra mile for a stranger. I got hearing aids at the Carlsbad location about a year ago. After my kitten managed to snag my left hearing aid off the counter with out me noticing, then delivered it to the dog, it ended up in more pieces than I could have imagined could come out of such a small device. I emailed Suzanne and she ordered a replacement right away. Walter got me all set up with the new one in no time at all and I have balanced hearing again. They provided me with all of the warranty and extended warranty options again. Service is fast and friendly, highly reccomended!!

I’ve had a number of issues over the past year with one device (manufacturer problem-not the provider problem) and Walter has been very good about taking care of the problem. We had a wonderful experience here this week! We are visiting from out of town. Our 5.5yr old daughter was having issues with her hearing aid. The tube coming out of the ear mold wasnt secure and they fixed it for us and told us to bring in the other one in when we were back in the village.We were greeted by a very friendly face and the office was clean, bright, and cheerful. I am a huge fan of My Hearing Centers! I bought my hearing aids (Siemens Binax Pure 7 Bx RIC) back in 2015 from another provider but recently needed some help correcting feedback issues introduced after visiting Hear USA (a terrible experience BTW). Walter not only eliminated the feedback, he repaired the volume problem with my right hearing aid and reprogrammed everything to my current hearing profile. In addition, he was able to get my EasyTek and TV Streamer working together so I can now hear my cell phone conversations, music and podcasts plus hear TV audio directly through my hearing aids!

I am so delighted with my new hearing aids. Walter and his staff were so gracious and caring as I went through the process of getting them adjusted to my world. I stopped in to see Walter about once a week for five weeks and each week he tweaked the hearing aids to fit my lifestyle. The adjustments between noisy environments, such as my granddaughters volleyball tournaments, to quieter settings such as a restaurant were all preprogrammed into my hearing aids. Now going to the movies is no problem too as I have a Bluetooth adapter for most movie theaters. He also worked with me to sync my hearing aids to my Bluetooth cell phone and tv devices. I have worn hearing aids for the past 10 years but this is the best hearing device I have ever owned! It turns out that my ear canals are difficult to fit with a hearing aid plug that will stay in place. It took four tries for Walter Kelley to find a configuration that worked. He was, through the entire process, helpful and responsive to the fact that it was a difficult fit that needed to be solved for the hearing aids to meet my expectations. I now can undertake normal activities like golf without concern that I might lose the hearing aids. If you have a similar problem with hearing aids, Walter is a good bet to solve it.

The whole process was simply first rate! Am a 1st time hearing aid user. Walter and staff walked me through the whole process at my pace, not theirs. Had TONS of questions! Im 54 years old. Ive been in construction all my life. Over the years my hearing slowly has deteriorated until I had to turn the tv way up, couldnt hear the waitress say the specials and avoided parties because I was frustrated at not being able to hear.Finally my wife made an appointment while we were on vacation in San Diego. ( she knew I would be in a good humor on vacation,I didnt know)Anyway I met with Cindy Houska. She was very nice and explained everything perfectly.After the test she showed me my results. I was shocked at how bad my hearing was.She had a pair of sample hearing aids she let me try. She programmed them the best she could to my ears. That night I took my wife out to dinner. The place was packed.It was amazing that I could hear the waitress say the specials. what was even more enjoyable was being able to have a conversation in a crowded restaurant and not say WHAT all the time. It truly is a freedom to hear again. For those of you thinking about it.DO IT!!I can honestly say it really has changed my life for the better. In a weird way it has make me feel younger and wished I had done it sooner.If in doubt go she Cindy. She is not only beautiful but she will make you feel comfortable and relaxed.She is very straight forward and although you may be shocked with your results as I was she lets you know your not alone.Again just do it, youll really enjoy life a lot more.

I am retired, age 75, and came in looking for hearing aids at My Hearing Centers in Carlsbad, describing the Widex Evoke hearing aids that I have been looking into – they said they had access to all brands and could sell me any brand – they tested my hearing – and programmed a set of Signia hearing aids (I did not ask for Signia and have never heard of them) and turned me loose in the shopping center to try them out with my girlfriend in different surroundings – they sounded good - they accurately tested my hearing and programmed the hearing aids well - but I was not willing enough to pay the $7,000 they quoted me - for me to buy hearing aids, I need to know they work in noisy backgrounds, which I was not able to test – The only way to test under noisy conditions was to buy them, and if they didn’t work out, they would give me another brand of hearing aids – they told me I could make interest free payments over 2 years, but I still had to commit to buying them first – then they asked me: “What would it take for me to PULL THE TRIGGER”?? – I have been in sales all my life, and that is a “closing” comment – I thought I was in a hearing center, not in a sales environment – they never mentioned the Widex Evoke hearing aids I came in asking about.
