I put off dozens of calls earlier, but couldnt be more pleased to finally take a call and found Health IQ to be outstanding in taking me through the steps of enrollment that provides numerous benefits at no extra costs. Their agent was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in providing the best health plan coverage added to my Medicare coverage 👍🏻

The agent was very helpful in finding a prescription plan that would work for me. Had problems with my computer and the agent was very patience with me and walking me through everything. The agent sent the site where I needed to go so I could finish the application on my cellphone. Thank you so much for finding me a better prescription plan and for your patience.

I would give this organization minus 10 stars if I could. They keep calling me several times a day. They have been asked to stop. I am on both the state and national no-call lists. These people need to follow the law period. I keep see other complaints where the owner gives these lame excuses and needs the phone number. Dear owner follow the law. What do you not understand about that? By the way, because of the excessive number of harassing calls from this organization, I have turned this over for prosecution. I would advise everyone to avoid this company because of their flagrant abusive marketing practices.

My representative Katharine was EXCEPTIONAL!! From the moment she answered the phone, I knew I was GREETED with a smile & I felt a TRUST! For weeks Ive been reviewing ALL plans, have had numerous phone calls (not as pleasant sounding) so that was a plus.Im mid 66+ and had trouble understanding most plans & Katherine had patience, kind & TRULY wasnt bothered w/questions. Even explained a coverage I had that I wasnt aware of!! I did have everything ready, meds, drs etc..(did 4get some,) no problem she never got rattled!! Shes a representative that YOU TRAINED RIGHT/GIVE HER A PROMOTION!! Even told me if I have any questions & my husband getting ready mid year, call her & I HIGHLY recommend her.Very knowledgeable on policies.

Would not recommend to anyone to work here. I was working through an agency for this client a little over a month. Was just getting into the swing of things and before I knew it, Health IQ ended their contract so sudden when it wasn’t supposed to end until March 31. We were all told to log off, submit our time cards, and that we’ve been laid off a week before Christmas. This was very unprofessional. We didn’t get a notice, a warning or anything and they dropped us all. We all have families to provide for and to let us go the way they did, hurt a lot of us. Some of us haven’t even received pay yet, whether through IES or Health IQ. And let’s not forget how our sales that we made, we haven’t received commission for. And they have the nerve to still hire. Do not work here because they’ll let you go whenever they feel like it. If I could get in touch with every senior that I’ve called from this company, I’ll apologize to them all and let them know to block every number Health IQ calls from. It’s ridiculous. Then they had us working 10-12-14 hrs a day during AEP and would get mad if we were to have a doctors appointment or just have a life outside of this company. Don’t work here!

Im a 58-year-old in good shape. I just ran the NYC Marathon, row often, bike, etc. I saw good reviews of Health IQ so I figured Id look into their policies.Well, it has been a nightmare ever since. Endless phone calls -even when you ask them NOT to call. This number, that number, theyll hound you all day at work. When they have figured out that youve shut your ringer off, they start texting. And, when you do get to call them back, the process is very disorganized. No callbacks.I finally told them Im not interested. Way too much badgering.Update -a week+ later and theyre STILL hounding me. 4 calls to my office one morning and they just started again today. Ive emailed them to stop, hung up on them several times. Unbelievable. Do I have to file with the FCC or something? I emailed that I didnt want it. What did they do? They edited the policy and sent it again!Lets think about this, youre examined and found to be fit. Its unlikely that youll die in the term (15 years). If any of us do, it will more than likely be because we were out doing something fun and will probably be excluded. Great business. No wonder they hound you to death.

Just received my 19th call from them. They have called from a 855 number as well as local numbers. I keep blocking them and they go to another number. I have ask them repeatedly to stop calling, I do not need a review, have already had it done. They keep calling and finally acknowledged me after they kept asking questions and telling me what I need and what they can do. Under no circumstances I would ever do business with them.

Health IQ is a big big scam. They mentioned I got hired 10/17/2022, ever since that day I have never heard from no one. No one will respond to my emails but IES keeps sending me email like Ive been working there. Once they collect all you personal information like ssn, they stop responding. I have the HR email, I keep emailing them, yet still this day I have not received any equipment or heard back from anyone. This is a complete wait of time, this company should be reported and closed down.

If I could give Health iQ 0 stars I would. They are money hungry and do not care about their employees or the elderly. If I could go back and speak to all the elderly people that I’ve called I will tell them to never go with this company they’re sick. There are thousands of elderly people that need help NOT harassment. They scammed me and my co workers and laid thousands of us off without reason or a warning a WEEK before Christmas knowing we have families and mouths to feed. I will never work in sales again and I would never recommend a greedy soulless, heartless place like this to work.

One star because we have to rate. Fired 50+ plus people over zoom. Start date was nov 21 & it got pushed back twice. Communication was awful. If you asked a question the answer was “ we will get to it”. Went on lunch break and came back to be Told we had no job. Starting to think this whole thing was a complete scam. I feel bad for any elderly who got scammed by them. They then deleted chats and started logging ppl out of their email so you cannot even access that. Something is sketchy.

This company is a joke. I applied for a life insurance policy when I found out my first child was being born. Passed the physical with flying colors, financial questions, etc. After the carrier chosen was reviewing the final steps for the policy, my Health IQ agent and my policy manager went rogue. I called them both for 3 weeks with no returned calls, not once. I finally get a letter in the mail from the carrier saying they were to move forward but would not get confirmation from Health IQ and I’d have to restart the process.Not sure if this “amazing company” just wants to pass on new business or what, but I wouldn’t recommend Heath IQ to a soul on this earth. I’d definitely go a different route!Hope this helps for any readers!

Excellent in the beginning but beware. Once a basic application is in there is a meltdown in service. The brokers seem to loose interest and simply don’t respond, respond with incorrect information or state they tried to call. On top of this the total reliance on automated calls & texts, pre written emails and standardization is hugely frustrating when you wish to make your application bespoke.In my experience the main issues were wanting multiple quotes across 3 policies that included life and disability. Different departments and brokers.In the end I booked $1.5m of cover for 30 years with them but mainly due to the fact so much time had been invested. I was appalled by the level of customer service. I canceled a $9k per month disability application.Agree with other posts saying spam and harassment is an issue but it’s all automated and on lists. The business has management issues and I’m sure legacy issues as it grows.

I was happy with the all around service. They answered my questions and got me a rate I could live with. Their claim is that the cater to “active” people. My salesman was either an avid runner or had a good script. Either way it was nice feeling like I was talking to a fellow runner. I’ve recommended them to other runners.

I was pleased with both the coverage I received and the customer service. I was slow to respond, but they stayed on me to make sure I completed the work to get my policy in place. And when I reached out by email, they responded quickly to my concerns. Also, I got coverage for over three times my previous policy limits for the same premium cost for an identical time period even though I’m five years older than when I got my previous coverage. Very happy about that.

I worked there for 2 weeks, quit to work a 1099 position. They appointed me with a couple carriers and they added a few states, so I paid them in full $1,000 for licensing fees and returned their computer FedEx the next day. Then COLLEEN PULKOWSKI - Director of Licensing and Contracting, emailed me that they will not release any appointments for 6 months, even with a zero balance, and only being their 2 weeks of training. So I infomred her that I will just go through the self-release process that only takes 3 months. They are spiteful. I still have more than enough carriers to carry on very well.

This team was great to work with. I already have a policy and I am about 4 years into it. I wanted to add on. They were able to provide me an additional policy for the same amount on a new 30 year and it cost cost me about $40 less per month then my other provider. Glad I gave them a call for a quick quote!

Signed up online as I was interested in life insurance. Got a call less then 2 minutes later from a sales guy. Told him I did not have time to talk and would call when I did. I have since been receiving 2-4 calls a day from them from various masked numbers. I am ok with a follow up but hidden caller id and different numbers is shady to me.

I agreed to switch insurances for what I thought was a better plan. Big mistake. I called back the next day to tell the agent I didn’t want it and I continued to call. His supervisor was supposed to call me. The insurance switched and I finally got another agent to speak to me to switch my plan. I am stuck for the whole month on the terrible plan that is costing me a lot of money in prescription costs. I should have did more research. The first agent should have taken my call, but he got what he wanted by my switching. Lesson learned and the agent that finally talked to me was more knowledgeable.

If I could put 1 star I wouldToday is the day the company is supposed to issue out commission for the many transfers that we made during AEP . Not only that mandatory 12 hour shifts thru days of Nov 25 to Dec 7 with no days off. NO DAYS OFF. 12 HOUR SHIFTS. MANDATORY. For us to not get payed. Health IQ calls at seven in the morning they called at nine at night. I did not sign up for this they are just spammers and try to act like they are going to force you to listen to them. They will say this is the recorded line. When I tell them that I am recording to they hang up. Then they act like they are going to manhandled you and make you listen to them. They cannot intimidate me. Because of how they’ve been doing and calling me so much and I have said do not call me I would never have business with them. I don’t know where they came from but they need to go back. This is a predatory place and they cannot say that that’s not the truth.

The sales person was very friendly back when I started the process in September. Four months later, after repeated delays, requesting information that Id already provided, and additional frustration, they finally approved me for life insurance. But the prices much higher than the original quote. Was told I could get Preferred Plus based on my questionnaire but once through underwriting wouldnt give it. Will not do business with this organization.

Spam Alert 🚨 I have called your company 3-4 times asking for my number to be removed, yet your reps still call at all hours of the day - before 7 am and as late as 10 pm. You’re using illegally sourced burner numbers that you think cannot be traced - I have a background in telecom and know the methods you’re using all too well. You’ve been clocked and reported to the FCC and BBB for rogue practices. Full documentation was provided to the proper authorities of your poor business acumen. Stop preying on people under the guise of a government healthcare program like Medicare — for shame. Absolutely unacceptable. Innocent people are being mislead and for what? Economic greed? First off my start date was nov 14th they pushed it back to the 21st of November ok they had us referring people I’m telling so many people about this job it’s the holidays everyone has kids families bills and more and they really scammed us of our time and etc for no reason at all they sent out letters for those that made it to the next step til January only to be laid off /fired today DEC 14th Right before Christmas and I totally understand the consumers that are made we have to constantly keep calling them after adding them to the do not call list this is totally unexpected for everyone it was over 1500 employees laid off FOR WHAT ?? there wasn’t a probable cause on why we were laid off it’s sad for everyone and they started deleting messages out of the chat rooms like they are hiding something … something definitely is not right about this company and I’m digging deeper to find out

They keep asking for Joe Papa to make sure hes getting the most out of his medicare - I thought it was a prank call at first. Seems like a predatory company that targets vulnerable seniors.

My experience is pretty bad. Before you finish the purchase, they are saying all good words to make you pay. After the purchase, they never really answer your phone call responsibly. They always say they are handing it and will call you back but I never receive the call. They even will hands off your phone call.[after seeing the response]:this is exactly what i may not like health iq. They may speak in such humble way publicly, but underneath, i got my phone call directly hanged up when i tried to reach their customer service when i am trying to say I want to switch an agent because of the non-responsive last time. And after i purchased the insurance, the agent is not very willing to spend time resolving my concern regarding my policy. Well, basically, I would recommend people directly buy insurnace from insurance company instead of from an agent company like health IQ.

This company is for sure in violation of the following:The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)The Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR)They for sure use a auto dialer, and its illegal to call out of state numbers using such a machine. I had poor service after my agent connected me to my case manager. The case manager helps you send the right information to apply for insurance and schedule a health exam. My exam was scheduled on the wrong day. And my case manager kept missing information and didnt answer calls and emails. Their lack of attention to detail resulted in a month long delay to getting a policy.I was laughed at by another representative when I called to voice my concerns. Disappointing and unnerving when youre buying something this important.

I got quotes on my own directly from 5 life insurance companies and went through the application process with 3 (had blood drawn and everything 3 times). We werent happy with the high prices we got, so I thought Id try getting a quote from Health IQ. The people I dealt with there were professional, helpful and not pushy at all and they helped me find a great-priced policy. I saved at least 40% compared to the highest price quote I received from the other companies. It pays to shop around, and I felt they worked to get me the best deal.

Not my cup of tea! Do your research on this establishment. Not only is this place misleading they are not very polite and is a shade tree operation at best.Called initially and everything was great, they scheduled a health exam. The nurse was late, her car had “broken down” she arrived an hour after scheduled. She did communicate this. When she arrived everything happened very fast. She brought a long application with her that she stated 95 percent of people keep and fill out then send back. Okay all is still fine. So I have questions about the application and place a call to the company to speak with Ashley who I initially talked to. They have no clue what’s going on and want to provide me with rates that I’ve already received. They finally determine that she is not in and they leave a message to her saying I would like a call back to answer some questions. All well and good.Days go by and I’ve received no phone call. Then I receive a txt from Ashley stating I should have sent the application back with the nurse. Okay, then I ask my questions.I explained There are a lot of typos in this application such as my name, my date of birth is wrong, the coverage amount is 500k not 250k, dates, etc.Response: that’s okay just sign it and we will adjust it.Told her it doesn’t make sense my name is not on the application properly they listed my first and middle name no last lame.Response: well that is your name right? Arrogantly I might add.Then I proceeded to tell her about the nurse being late and telling me it was ok to keep the application and review it. And being rather quick and rushing. I wasn’t pleased with the processResponse: we are not affiliated with the company that comes out and does the exam.Well seems to me the nurse is the only one who sees the client face to face since your out in California, you should care a little bit more about who you do business with.Long story short she had an attitude and I refuse to give my hard earned money to a company who is not appreciative of my business.Shopped around today and received a quote for $1 more a month than what these guys quoted me. It’s a local business that I can walk into and actually speak to someone face to face. They were very welcoming and thankful to have me inquire.Also side note. Did a review search on Health IQ and turns out they are a lead generation for insurance companies. Their rates are not any lower than what you can get elsewhere. The whole “healthy” thing is really just a marketing scam to suck you in. Which it did suck me in.Man if they were this impolite to deal with before I even finished the process, imagine my significant other having to deal with these people should I pass away.I really feel like I dodged a bullet avoiding this company.

Terrible experience. Worked with Don Lawrence... after an hour long phone conversation, he quoted me at a rate $5 lower than I found anywhere else. Set up appointment. Nurse was here for an hour. She messed up paperwork, had to come back. week later, Don called and said I need to show proof that I had run a marathon faster than 50% of americans. Since I didnt have that paperwork, my policy was now $5.17 sense more and higher than quotes from Nationwide insurance. ONLY USE THIS OPTION IF YOU HAVE A RACE TIME, FROM THE LAST 2 YEARS, THAT MEETS THEIR STANDARD. I wish he had told me that at the get go... would have saved me weeks of frustration.

We had the absolute worst experience with using the company. Our representative Cole Vurris stopped returning all calls and emails. We had our physical done at our home and had all paper work,done. Our first thing we thought was odd was going to,access our labs and was told the company we go,through did not participate. About 3 weeks later we would call Mr Vurris and be told each time he was on another call or not available.and would not return calls . there were several of these attempts made so we could start paying our premiums. Then we would try the email route still the same problem. No return after 2 months our only,phone call was the phone call prior to having our physicals done. They took the voided check and all. Ive been receiving up to 20+ calls a day from an indian call center with spoofed numbers to look local. After FINALLY talking to one of the callers to get to the bottom of the barrage of endless calls I was surprised to see I was transferred to a representative with this company. Starting on 06/30/21 I have received 59 automated calls and 4 voicemail messages from Health IQ ranging from 7:08am - 6:19pm on my cell phone. My cell phone has been registered on the do not call list since September 3rd, 2009. Health IQ calls under a different number, or unknown/blocked number each time, with voicemails under both unknown and changing numbers and locations. I have not requested information or provided my information to Health IQ prior to receiving these calls.If you are experiencing something similar, be sure to report it to the FCC and your state attorney general’s office.

A call was scheduled and a rude customer service said he needs my household income and social security to sell me the life insurance (??) which doesnt sound right since if I dont pay the annual premium in advance, the policy is automatically canceled. Incredibly unimpressed. Very persistent salesmanship in the beginning, only to evolve into a highly disorganized application process that never ends. Applied for three policies. Lab work done once yet results came back dramatically different for the three applications. How that happens I dont know. Then MONTHS after the application process I am still being told more information is needed, this piece of information was left off of the application etc. An insurance broker is supposed to make the process SMOOTHER not more complicated. Never again. Even if they had competitive rates (which I have yet to see evidence of), its not worth the painful process of getting to an actual approval and policy.

My experience with Health IQ was very professional. The agent I dealt with, Ryan Vertelney, was very helpful and seemed to have a good grasp on explaining the various nuances of the policies offered. The nurse who conducted my health checkup was extremely pleasant and efficient. The only issue that I encountered is all of the paperwork that was furnished to the nurse for review and signing had my name incorrect. Two days in a row they have repeatedly called my sister while she was at work. I knew that i’d never signed up for this because I don’t use yahoo, and the address where they claimed I lived was incorrect. There was no attempt to push whole life, Keith meticulously worked with me to accommodate my pre-existing condition & I was provided with a white glove service all through the process. Questions were answered & suggestions were provided in ways that best suited my interest. I ended up buying insurance for myself & my wife. Both of us are super happy with HealthIQ & your agents.
