We hired HB to do our master bath remodel and they did an amazing job at a very reasonable price. Communication was seamless - the Project Manager Aidan was always quick to respond via text/email to any questions I had during the remodel, and was was very knowledgeable about the whole process. The crew did their best to keep the house clean (covered floor and carpet with cardboard and plastic sheeting, vacuuming debri/dust, etc) which was much appreciated as we lived there with a toddler during the renovations. They worked very quickly and even finished the project ahead of schedule.Highly recommend HB for any home renovation work - we were very pleased with how everything turned out!

After going to cabinet stores all over the Bay Area and almost going through Home Depot (with bad reviews and unable to reach anyone) my new contractor suggested HB Cabinets on Whipple. These are by far the best cabinets for quality and function. I have a small town house kitchen and Christine N designed a better kitchen than I would have ever dreamed of. Christine designed a custom pantry with the cabinets I ordered that fit in an odd space. She also maximized storage by adding cabinets to the other side of the counter and suggesting extending the quartz a tiny bit. She was extremely knowledgeable, kind and patient. She was very easy to communicate with and I felt very taken care of with her and Jazmine.

We started our remodeling of full house 1 year ago and find HB kitchen and bath online. We asked several quotes from different companies and HB is the best. Also Aidan is very nice and easy to communicate with. He makes useful suggestions on design and details. Then the remodeling started and things moved nicely and steadily. Aidan makes sure we are fine with everything before going on to the next step. And during the final touch up, Aidan helped to make sure we are happy with every single details. And finally we are very happy with the remodeling.We have heard from our friends who did remodeling and their contractor are hard to communicate with and the whole process for them are not satisfying. So we are glad that we find HB and Aidan to help us with the whole remodeling. Definitely will recommend to everyone.

I couldnt have asked for a more stunning master bath, it is beyond what I expected. When I planned to remodel my bathroom I checked some companies and I finally decided to go with HB; They responded to me right away with professional suggestions and fair price quotes. The job was finished on schedule and the final finish was way beyond my expectation. The most impressive part to me was HB did the job as an efficient team, very organized and smooth. Also I was informed of the work description very clearly. They also cleaned the work area everyday (We remodel the bathroom while we were still living there, they tried to make the house as clean as possible, that is very important to me). Our house had completely remodeled by HB Kitchen and Bath recently. Kitchen, 2 bathrooms, living room had huge transformation to modern clean, minimalist style. All Windows and doors had replaced as well as electrical panel upgraded. My project manager Wei Luo had done excellent job to get this project completed in timely manner and good quality. Highly recommend and appreciated Wei’s professional and leading the project and team to exceed my expectation. Back in March of this year, I had started interviewing contractors. In May, I decided to go with HB Kitchen and Bath after meeting Wei and visited the showroom. Wei gave detail proposal on behalf of home owner perspective and helped me to make right decision on every single details. Wei is very nice and friendly, easy to approach. Always prompt response whenever I reach out. Wei also handled the permits and inspections.I would also like to shout out his professional team done awesome job transform my house into minimalist modern home. The designer Miao who assists me in shopping materials, pick colors and build the kitchen cabinet design plan. She is not only detail oriented but also super patience even I changed kitchen countertop material and floor material 3 times as well as bathroom materials. The HB crew also kept the site clean and always making sure trashes and boxes were removed end of the day or whenever job completed. We had the pleasure of working with Aidan on a project in 2023. We interviewed over 10 contractors for our whole home remodel. While HBs bid price was in the middle of the pack, we felt most drawn to Aidans responsiveness and attention to detail. We felt he was very knowledgeable and had a knack of explaining things in ways which we could clearly understand. He worked within our budget and was very accommodating to our requests (even last minute ones). His team was very professional, showed up when they said they would, and the job was completed on time. There were a few hiccups along the way, like when the team mistakenly installed our sun tunnels in the wrong places, or when there was miscommunication on wall placements and measurements, but Aidan always went the extra mile to make sure to resolve the issues to the point where we were completely satisfied. Weve now been enjoying our beautiful home for almost a year. We would highly recommend Aidan and HB!

We hired HB as our contractor based on the good reviews that customers had given on their website. We were told that it would take about six to eight weeks to complete the project, but the project finally finished over eight months later. It was a disaster and a nightmare for us. There were too many mistakes, miscalculations, and damage (on our brand new floor). We paid basically 80% of the total cost of the project in the first six weeks expecting the project would finish in eight weeks. We basically called the contractor every week to make sure that the project would finished in close proximity of the time line that HB gave us. Our kitchen design was changed because of the miscalculation from their designer. Never again would we have them do a project for us. The bad experience we had with them is not acceptable because of the glowing reviews they received. It didn’t reflect on the quality of work they performed for us. The only good thing about HB was the ladies that work at the store, especially Jasmine. Also, their prices on the tiles are very cheap compared to other stores.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!We contacted Wei Luo (Manager of HB Kitchen Bath Inc.) based on my friends referral. Since my friend highly recommended him and mentioned we should prepare earlier, we contacted him half year earlier :) We found Wei is very nice and kindness during our first call.The home we want to do kitchen remodeling is an Eichler Home, which isnt an easy case for most contractors. However, Wei gave us a detailed insight of remodeling plan from the house owner perspective by explaining every plans pros/cons and providing the reasonable estimates. We felt that Wei fully understood our concerns / how we think and our decision process. So we decided to move forward with Wei after interviewing 4 contractors - we felt so lucky to make that decision in the end.Wei made the whole process straightforward and seamless. We also bought cabinets and countertop from HB Kitchen which are all in good quality and price reasonable. Wei helped us apply permit and he was very prompt, detailed oriented, analytical, thorough, and can did in his evaluation of plans. He would answer every single question in full details and explain the pros and cons of each options. The workers from his team are very handy and kindness. They would also help you clean up when they finish their daily work, which surprised us a lot. They made progress every day and I felt so good when I checked the remodeling status each time. They finished the whole project within 4 weeks even though he mentioned it may take 6 weeks - you can understand why they are standout among all contractors in Bay Area!! Recently we had a kitchen remodeling project done with HB Kitchen Bath. We chose them after a bit of comparison and discussion with their project manager (PM) Wei. He was very nice and explained the details in prior regarding the project. Since we were pretty new to the remodeling work, Wei helped to clarify a lot of construction doubt for us, e.g how to level the surface, choose a proper size kitchen hood, etc. We were learning a lot during the process with their guidance and suggestions.In addition, the designer Miao we worked with was also very helpful. She helped design and organize the material supply through the process. During the remodeling, one of our material was over sold and the vendor could not deliver on time. Miao helped finding some alternatives in very short time without delaying rest of the project.Last but not the least, the price they asked was very competitive given the quality shown in the photos.The team was efficient and responsive. It was a great experience working with them. Thank you again for the work and help provided. I would definitely recommend them!

I have a very small kitchen. The old kitchen had unusable corner cabinets and no space for a microwave. HB designed the new cabinets so all the space is useable with room for a RO filter. The build was fast and smooth with very little downtime. There was a few minor issues after the project was complete that they immediately came back and fixed for free.

From the past 2 years, Wei and his crew have become a family to us. Extremely professional and delightful people. He understands customer empathy to the fullest. Recently, we had to replace our vanity lights in one of our bathrooms. Made a call, he got the crew scheduled and replaced it WITH NO CHARGE. I offered money but he said Pappa, no charge for you. Please keep in mind that no contractor would do it for free after 1 year of house remodeling. This is the additional quality of Wei. Its not a fire and forget relationship. We recently completed our complete kitchen makeover with HB Kitchens. HB was recommended by couple of friends. Our cabinets are from an Italian company and were installed by the cabinet contractor, but HB did everything else. I was a little nervous working with two separate contractors but there were zero issues. They worked around each other’s schedules and coordinated the dates of the delivery for tiles and Miele’s installation. HB additionally took care of all permits.HB gutted my old kitchen, removed old tiles. They redid the electrical including outlets for appliances & cabinet lights, new LED ceiling lights, etc. They suggested locations of lights, switches, & outlets. They updated wiring from the main panel (per code) and added for radiant floor heating. They updated my main panel and also added an outlet for my EV car charging in the garage.HB replaced my kitchen window, installed radiant floor heating, new tiles, and prepared the place for the cabinet contractor. After the cabinet contractor had installed the cabinets, Miele came to install my appliances and HB made sure the electrical and gas lines and water connections were ready for their pre-inspection and subsequent install.They installed my quartz counter top, sink, garbage disposal, instant hot water tank, water filter, and the hood over the cooktop. Wei, one of the owners of HB, advised me on the brand for the sink appliances based on what he used on his own home. They grouted the tiles last to avoid them getting dirty.All their workers were very good – each specialized on a different aspect of the kitchen. They were polite, timely, and took pride in their work. During the entire process, they put plastic sheeting as needed to make sure that dust did not go into rest of the house, and also put a special zipped plastic thing for the kitchen entrance so we could still enter the kitchen area to go to family room. We kept our old fridge in the living rom and they put cardboard on the floor to make sure it did not get damaged. Also whenever they left at the end of day they made sure things were left clean and tidy. Wei, one of the owners and the one that gave us the original estimate, visited frequently to see check that everything was going okay. He was also very prompt in responding to SMS and called back promptly to answer questions and discuss dates for next phase etc.I am a handy man with a very good eye for details; HB did everything to my satisfaction (that says a lot). For the countertop, we had picked veined Quartz. I wanted the veins to appear in a particular way for backsplash and the waterfall. HB worked with me on this and I even went with them to the Quartz warehouse to layout the slab cuts with blue tape so that veins were to my satisfaction; in one place there was a misunderstanding in our communication and HB took care of that by ordering a new slab. Wei said, “ I do not want you to compromise on the design - it would keep bugging you down the road as you use the kitchen.”Every thing was timely. Some minor delays because of tile delivery, or Miele’s appliance installation, but HB worked with us around these schedules.. While I don’t foresee any problems, but if they do arise, I am confident that HB and Wei will standby their work. I felt their prices were competitive and reasonable.PS. I can’t resist giving feedback on our Miele appliances. Don’t get sucked into Miele’s marketing. Their dishwashers are not the best (smaller than US/Japanese brands so fitting large sauce pans is a problem); also it does not clean as well as my previous Kenmore, so trust the Consumer reports ratingsMiele’s refrigerator is excellent but other appliances are good to very-good. Miele’s look/aesthetics is fabulous,. In hindsight, Would get a different brand of dishwasher for sure and perhaps even a different gas cooktop.In conclusion, my experience with HB Kitchens was great - they are very professional and their workmanship is excellent. Highly recommend them!

We were referred to HBKB by a friend who had seen their work at other homes and we’ve seen their cars around Union City and Hayward so knew that they were familiar with Hayward/Union City permitting process.We did a full kitchen remodel including with a wall demolition, requiring city permits and architectural design, cabinet design, new flooring, new electrical and new doors. This was a massive project that spanned many months (thanks Hayward for the slow permit approval process…) and was spearheaded by Aidan and Christine.Aidan was a fantastic PM managing our project with wonderful coordination between the electricians, painters, cabinet design, literally everything. He is quick to action and easy to communicate with, always driving over to talk through problems, explaining why things are done a certain way and communicating back to Christine as needed in the HQ office.Christine did our cabinet design and gave wonderful, highly useful inputs into our design ideas from placement, sizing, the nice extras (pull out spice drawers!), Quartz countertop opinions, etc. Honestly, she was a great sounding board and easy to work with. She was patient as we worked through design ideas and modified her drawings accordingly.The team at HBKB are very good at their job, and know exactly what they’re doing. Every project team that came in truly were experts in their craft and were quick and efficient. We are SO in love with our kitchen and happy to enjoy our newly redesigned forever home.Highly recommend HBKB.

Highly recommended.HB kitchen helped remodel our galley kitchen. These folks are an absolutely amazing lot to work with. They went out of way so many times to accomdate our needs and ensuring that we were truly happy. Eva was our main contact person but I can easily say that rest of their team were helping too.Our kitchen remodel was highly constrained as we werent changing any walls or structural changes. Besides it being a small kitchen, we were really particular about space usage efficiency. Eva must have made like 10 to 15 different designs for me, and never showed frustration :) The thing with prefab cabinets is that, while economical, it comes in only limited sizes and often a lot of space is wasted in fillers. Eva really helped us minimize that. There are so many fine things, but if I have to point one, notice the full wall tall 6 inch wide spice rack between the refrigerator and the wall - that was HB kitchens idea to maximize our space usage and give us something functionally usable. No other cabinet store, including the whole lot on Brokaw Rd had ever proposed such an idea.Our remodel was planned to begin just around the time covid lockdown order came in. Unfortunately that meant uncertainty and hustle, as situation was evolving very fast with store closures, stopping all construction work and so on. HB kitchen, on their part, prioritized things for us and ensured that at least I didnt have to deal with cabinet delivery uncertainty. My remodel still got delayed, but at least not due to HB kitchen, who put customer satisfaction above all.

We will give HB Kitchen Bath 6 stars if it is possible. We need to remodel the kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. From very beginning to project completion, we had a wonderful experience with this team.1. On Budget and On Time. The initial quote was received about one year ago, and it is very accurate compare with the actual expenses. Project was also completed on time with no dragging. These are all achieved during this pandemic time when lead time is long and price is increasing. HB has its own cabinet company and warehouse. That could be the reason for such efficiency.2. Effective Communication. They understand our needs very well. Getting our ideas across is very easy. We had a picture in our mind about the final outcome, and it comes out better than we thought.3. High Quality Finish. All works were done professionally with high quality. Never once we have to ask them to redo the work.4. First Time Pass City Inspection. HB is very on top of the regulation and familiar with building codes. City Inspection was passed smoothly. Getting an inspection appointment with City of San Jose sometimes can be one month away. Each failed city inspection could have huge time cost.5. Very Custom Focused. Details can tell how much they care. We have some furniture inside the house which creates more workload. They never complained and all furniture were well preserved during the project. The whole house is very clean afterwards. They also installed a water pan underneath the washer to prevent occasional water leakage without we asking for it. My wife has some extra requirement after the project was done. Updated 2/15/2022: HB Home Decor remodeled my kitchen and half bath last spring. They did such a wonderful job that I decided to have them remodel my master bath and hallway bath this fall. Again, they did a fantastic job! Aidan was my project manager again. He was super friendly and easy to talk to. He always kept me updated on the progress of the remodeling. He goes above and beyond to make sure that the project met my expectation. Christine was my designer. She was so professional and knowledgeable. She helped me choose tiles and shower panels that I would never have considered without her help. I love the combinations of colors and styles that she recommended. We have been working with HB (Wei) for many years, initially started with 2 beautiful bathroom remodels 9 years ago.Over the years Ive used them for other projects such as adding canned lights in the whole house, converting our old pergola to a patio cover with skylights/gutters, and most recently full exterior painting. Due to our HOA requirements they needed samples of the paint colors so Wei made sure that was done and delivered to our door for the HOA panel to review. His crew did an awesome job of prepping, painting, and didnt cut corners. They were also always on time and kept the site clean.I honestly dont think there is anything they wont do, I also recently had a bad plumbing leak in the wall and he sent someone over and repaired it, funny his worker recognized me from my patio project over 7 years ago. I found that he still has the same crew, that speaks volumes that Wei is able to retain them although Im not really surprised since he likely treats his workers the same as hes always treated us with honesty and respect. You should really find an experienced designer for your kitchen design.We went with a relatively new designer who only came for a few months. Multiple mistakes were made from the design which costed us extra time and money. The designer gave us at least one less crown moulding for the kitchen so we had to drive an extra trip to get the missing pieces. Also the designer gave us a shorter height refrigerator cabinet. The standard refrigerator height is 70 and a 21 inch wall cabinet would be better for an 8 foot ceiling. Instead, the designer gave us an 18 inch wall cabinet. It has a large gap in between the fridge and the cabinet in which I ended up buying one another wall cabinet and asked my contractor to reinstall the cabinet. You couldnt expect the customer to examine all the details for a long list of kitchen cabinets. The customer would rely on the designer to make the most sensible decision to some point.Though the new designer was patient and responsive throughout the service, we would have a much smoother process if we went with someone with more experience from the shop.

HB Kitchen is a professional team which would streamline the whole process for you starting from ordering the cabinet all the way to appliances installment. They have dedicated team for each section and area. We were under tremendous pressure and on extremely time-sensitive deadlines of moving into the house. Wei and crew went over and beyond to get us in our home. They left no stone un-turned and overcame all obstacles(and believe me there were MANY!) They do not treat you as clients, they treat you as FAMILY. Extremely empathetic! For example, Wei was more concerned of us living in hotel and he told us I will make sure you move in .You cannot pay money for mortgage and staying in hotel. His crew worked tirelessly as if they are renovating their own house. Amazing passion, energy and positive vibes from everyone (from showroom folks to last person in the crew). Oh, forgot to mention...fast forward 2 years, I called him yesterday as I had an issue with one of my lights. He picked up my phone in < 3 rings, remembered me & my family(greeted everyone) and sent his crew to diagnose the issue on the next day! We are working on the fix as I write this, but how many contractors have you seen who greets you as if you just met yesterday even after 2 years of job completion and makes you feel so much comfortable that you dont have to worry at all. Wei was quick to tell me that my project was too small and he did me a favor by taking my job. Threatened to put a lien on my house.Detail - Hired them to install new floor+paint on half-bath. After some work on flooring was done he was not happy that he didnt get paid for partial work - I asked him to finish the work before I pay him. He sent me some nasty text messages.I had to settle the contract mid-way and finish the project myself.Update:1 .he now claims i was violated payment terms for sub-2k contract! Loo was extremely knowledgeable, patient and forthcoming with any anticipated unknowns.
