I have taken the 24h and the 8h refresher HAZWOPER course. The 24h covers a textbook which I found very comprehensive, but digestible. It is all broken into sections, and the teachers were all responsive anytime I had any questions. I would recommend this site for people looking to get educated in all things HAZWOPER. I just wish that they did the 40h HAZWOPER course online as well. I am having to take it through OSHA which uses a powerpoint/video style presentation instead.

The ease of use is great, I liked the slide presentation and layout. The Information is laid out in a helpful manner. The quizzes at the end of the sections is a good way to review the material. Course was informative and met my OSHA requirement. I took one star away because it was difficult to understand how to begin the course and make it big enough to see. I figured out how to start it eventually but had to call to find out how to make the module big enough to be functional. All in all this was a good course and was a decent price when compared to other similar classes.

The course I took was very thorough (and dense, but when youre talking about safety related topics then its probably good to be dense). I feel like I was prepared well for the final exam for my certification. The humor they inserted was kinda cringy but at least it broke up the density a bit.

I have had the opportunity to train online with many entities in another field in my former career. This was my first time using this company to help me with training and certification. I found the site to be extremely user friendly, there was staff available at any moment when and if you need them, and the accent of the gentleman who narrated the training was soothing. I especially liked the quizzes that are strategically placed throughout the training session. It helps with the retention of what you are learning. I was able to get myself and five (5) of my Team Members registered and into the system in minutes. I did have to call the number on the site a few times as I registered and had other questions, and the phone was answered every time! And the Lady was incredibly nice and professional. I will use this training site exclusively.

I found the information very insightful and informative. The training provided detailed information on RCRA, EPA, DOT, and OSHA. The Hazmat information addressed how to keep the environment safe. respond to spills, self-safe, and other issues, also examples on how clean to hazardous. Quiz at the end of each chapter was good assessment of Course and prepared you for the final.

I enjoyed my OSHA asbestos awareness course but felt that it would probably be better if the quiz were to be integrated more throughout the 2 hour course or if there were small bits of the 2 hour session asking pertinent information, because while the course was definitely informative and HIGHLY interesting I found it hard to recall some of the information for the quiz despite passing it the first time.Furthermore, I would like to have the ability to retake the quiz after getting a passing grade or to know which answers I gave that were wrong so that I wont leave the course without all the correct and pertinent information.

I took the 9hr DOT and IATA shipping courses. The modules were nicely divided to give you digestible amounts of info at a time. The dashboard and site function great and access was a breeze whenever I had to do my studies. However I dont think the course is as comprehensible as it could of been and all the information is giving in the same way, not really accommodating to more than one type of learner. Would love to see more examples, videos, and quizzes over each section. I know this needs to be a course with a manageable hour completion but I feel like the courses couldve benefitted from more of that overall. They do give you a good array of reading resources just expect yourself to do a lot of the info hunting through pages upon pages on your own time.

Ive used the Confined Space, RCRA Hazardous Waste Training, and the DOT Training modules. The training is excellent. I like that the training is divided into separate sections with short quizzes after each one to help solidify the content covered. Really enjoy the graphics and embedded videos. Content is up to date as well. Very well done training tool.

This is a good course for renewing your hazmat certificates because it is divided into sections and has short quizzes to review understanding. I also like that you have to click through the slides so I have to pay attention to the information. Finally they update the content when there are new regulations so it is relevant and up-to-date.

I took the 8 hour RCRA/DOT class and found the instructor easy to listen to, the slides informative, and an overall great refresher course. Some type of handouts would be appreciated as I ended up with a solid 6 pages of notes and used reference materials from past classes for the exam. There were a couple of questions on the final test that were not covered at all during the class (like what the HOT hazard label means). The resource links are great; it was just easier for me to have a reference in front of me rather than online.

This class was very informative. I really like the fact that you could come in and out of the course as you please. This allowed me to take it while being at work. I also enjoyed the fact that the final exam was open booked. There is a lot to know and even with years of experience you’ll find yourself having to resort to the regulations.

I took the online 8 hour Hazwoper refresher course. The material was relevant and easy to follow. I like the fact that there is a quiz after each section to verify what was learned. Also, its easy to scroll back just in case something was missed. The only issue I had was the audible was very low and at times difficult to understand. I did have my speaker volume up to 100% but it did not make a difference.

I recently enrolled in the First Responder Operations and Incident Commander courses. The customer service was actually fantastic after I realized I had initially enrolled in the wrong course. They promptly re-enrolled me and refunded me once I gave them a call. However, when I went to start, I was surprised when both of these classes were essentially word documents that I had to read through and then take a test at the end. One was separated into sections, while the other was just one 220+ page document to scroll through. I was expecting more interactive material, especially for two 8 hour classes. While the material was okay and I did learn a couple things, it was quite repetitive and I dont feel like I got the best bang for my buck. I had planned on using hazmat school to train others in my organization as well, but I will now find somewhere else with more interactive content.

I just finished the RCRA Haz Waste Generator Training and thought there were many useful slides full of great information. Examples were the top 10 Hazardous Waste Mistakes, incompatible Wastes, Packaging Dos and Donts. As mentioned previously, there are no downloadable files or notes, which means unless you are spending the extra hours copying it down like I did, this info will be lost to you. I understand copyrights and intellectual property of the instructor, but feel this material should be available as part of the tuition that has been paid.
