While cleaning out my deceased moms house to get it ready for sale I found, to my dismay, a bunch of paint, pesticides, cleaning products, and other hazardous items that needed to be disposed of responsibly.I turned to Haz Away Today.I called & Marcie helped me set up a pick-up within 24 hours. Within a couple of hours, Technician Javier had over the 400 pounds of various materials sorted & removed!I cant thank Haz Away Today enough for helping me out in such a fast, easy & responsible way!!!

Hazawaytoday took my worries away! My move out deadline was in a few days and I was worried when faced with getting rid of old paint, brake fluid, cleaning supplies and batteries the last owner left in my garage. The Team at Haz Away Today was extremely professional from the first phone call to the end of the process. Javier, the technician in charge of coming to my place called me ahead of time to confirm my address and showed up even earlier than expected. Javier was very professional, helpful and honest in sorting, weighing and taking away the hazardous material. He also gave me professional advise on how to dispose of the material who was not hazardous.I was very pleased with Javier, including his manners. I believe the price I paid was the right market value and it was specified ahead and finalized on location before I authorized the process. Haz Away Today Team and Javier definitely deserve the 5 Stars.

Todd called ahead to give me advanced notice of his arrival and asked for parking tips over the phone to ensure that he didnt damage our property with his truck. He helped me review which paint cans were and werent worth keeping and then transferred them all to his truck and cleaned up such that you never knew he was here. We’re moving, so we couldn’t be bothered with hauling old paint, pesticides, pool cleaning chemicals to various disposal/recycling centers so we found HazAwayToday on Google and hired them to do the dirty work for us. After over 277 lbs. of chemicals, etc., we’re relieved and satisfied now that it’s all out of our garage and our lives. Thanks to Marcie (customer service) and Daniel (driver/onsite worker/hauler) for making this relatively painless. Our cost was $694 for 277.6 lbs. We’re happy to be rid of everything. Ive used Haz Away Today twice to get rid of hazardous materials around my home . Both times, they did a great job and were very nice and helpful. The first time, they helped me get rid of engine oil that had spelled in my garage and showed me how to clean up the spill. This most recent time, they took insectides,cleaning products and unknown powders that were too heavy to carry to a disposal site. Javier helped me today and he was very nice and accomodating. I dont remmber the first technicians name, but he was also very helpful. They provide a much needed service.

Today was amazing! Jacob and his co-worker, Todd, called and asked if they couldcome to my house an hour early. Once there, they were very helpful gathering old paint cans and had solutions for my nightmare situation of paints cans, in a plastic tub submerged in old rain water. The water was brackish in appearance and I thought of it as the next Super Fund site! No problem for Jacob & Todd! They siphoned off the water into a special container, removed the paint cans and that was that! They took batteries, spray cans, paint cans, and household cleaning products, and brackish water, all such a relief to me. Jacob was on time and called an hour before to let me know at what time he would be arriving. I was able to keep all of my gas cans, 5 gallon containers and oil containers. Jacob poured everything into their blue bins and was off in less than an hour. The scale was right in front of me the whole time and I could see the weight of each bucket. I found it to be so easy. I schedule a pick-up for old paint removal and was pleased to immediately have someone call to go over the specific details of what I needed removed and asked if i understood the pricing. I received another call from the technician scheduled to do the actual pick-up to advise me of his arrival time. He arrived on time weighed the product, gave me a total and then removed the product. I had some questions about the size of something and one of the workers (I wish I remembered her name) told me to text a picture to her and was able to let me know right away that they could take it. Evan was friendly, professional, educated in his field, and neat, and he did an amazing job sorting the many chemicals, paints, and cleansers. I was on a budget so he worked with me to take the most dangerous items, up to the price I could afford, until the next time. Total smooth and professional experience. Booked online. Received a phone call to confirm everything. Got another call the day before to re-confirm. Got a call morning of delivery saying they had a cancellation and asked if they could come earlier - worked even better for me! Came masked up, explained the process, reconfirmed price and got to work. Done in about an hour. Showed me breakdown of items and their weight. Pls note that you need to pay attention to how much stuff you have as it effects the price. More pricey than I thought, but I under estimated the weight of what I had. But easier than having to load and transport on my own- dont think I could have transported that weight in my car. Would definitely use again - just wont wait until I have so much to dispose of due to cost. A+ service!

Great customer service! I cleaned out my parents’ garage and my own of all old paint, oil, sealers and some unmarked rusty cans (maybe gasoline). I paid for the convenience of having this company dispose of these chemicals safely and to avoid spending time doing it myself. Worth the moderate cost. Would use them again.

Great experience with this company. Scheduling was easy. They arrived on time. Evan, the technician who did the pick-up at my property, was smart, quick, efficient. He showed how weight totals and costs were being calculated as he went through the various hazard waste materials I was getting rid of (e.g. old paint, household cleaners, solvents, etc). I recommend this company highly, especially since it’s not easy to do the disposal yourself in Los Angeles area. Municipal collection centers are spread out, hours are limited, and I wouldn’t have been able to do the whole load at one time, the way I did with Haz Away Today.

My experience with HazAwayToday was spectacular. From the moment I contacted them, they were professional, courteous, and easy to communicate with. They gave a time for pick up, and met it easily. What a nice surprise to not have to wait till the last minute of the block of time, and then have them call and say there were late. They could teach the cable, telephone, and many other Service providers a thing or two. Each employee was a real pleasure to work with. And what a great service. Wonderful service. very helpful over the phone. I had a large fire extinguisher and could not find anyone who would dispose of it. I was cleaning out my Dads garage after he passed away. He had lived in his home over 30 years and had a LOT of hazardous materials. Very pleased with their same day service The young man that came out was very professional and took time to explain the process. He separated the items and provided a breakdown of the billing. We had 303 pounds to dispose of and our local transfer site is only open two Saturdays a month and limits disposal to 20 pounds per day per household. I would highly recommend this company !

What a fantastic company! Everything was incredible smooth and efficient. I scheduled the pick up, they confirmed with an email, followed up a day before the pick up, and called twice on the morning of the pick up to verify that they were coming. We are selling our house the last things left to get rid of was of course things like old paint, auto liquids like antifreeze and oil, yard liquids like weed killer and pesticides. We couldn’t just trash it so we started looking around at how to dispose of it. Paint disposal at one place, auto stuff at another, and it just seemed like it would take a lot of running around.
