No hassle to add a bunch of stuff. Very personable, laid back atmosphere, no pressure and I got what I requested without any back and forth or nonsense. Very pleased with vehicle but mostly with the treatment and service. Highly recommended.

Everyone I met at this dealership was awesome! I wasn’t able to get financing with other dealerships but they really pulled through for me. Mike was my initial contact and was super helpful when it came to looking at different vehicles. Shaun made the financing portion very quick and easy for me. When I wasn’t able to get ahold of Mike, Kari stepped in and helped, who was also wonderful.I was feeling hopeless after being denied by multiple dealers so I’m beyond grateful for everyone I worked with here.

I bought my third car from Shaun today. The first one I had for 5 years. Never once was in the shop. Aside from tires and oil changes, I once had the battery cleaned because it started slow like 3 years later. Eventually got brakes at the 4 year mark and thats it! Never even did a tune up, changed plugs, no transmission or coolant service, nada. The second car was so quiet you couldnt tell it was on. He even risked the sale by suggesting a newer car and got me approved with lower payments. The car I bought today he got me approved over the phone and when I arrived he got $40 knocked off the estimated payments. Mike, his brother helped with the paperwork and had great tips on getting rid of the interest faster. I strongly recommend going here for a car. Two cars and not one time has it had repairs done over a 6 year period. Kari was also helpful. They have a great team there!

I bought a car for my son this weekend and couldnt be any happier with the experience. My son and I looked at the car on Tuesday and Mike said it needed some work, but it would be ready Saturday. We returned on Saturday and the car was ready. Mike showed me what was done, and he said it had to be done because he doesnt want a car leaving his place that wasnt safe or dependable. He had originally given me a price and then when the work was done, I was leery that the bait and switch was coming but no, the price was relative the same a few hundred more and for what was done it was worth it. Mike was very low key and there was no pressure to buy. He made the purchase painless and had some good stories to tell while we were doing the paperwork. I would highly recommend seeing mike if you are looking for a car.

The best car buying experience ever. When I first called, Mike got the ball rolling on getting me approved for the car. He called me a number of times keeping me informed on the process. By the time I got to the dealership I had an approval. Not only an approval but Sean (finance king) was able to have us reestablish our credit with respect. Big bank loan low down payment and great monthly price and interest rate. Now people I’ve been in over 5 dealerships in the past few weeks to only hear NO, and if not no they would give me $4-$5k down on cars with over a 100k miles. Well not here, they all including the owner Keri (an awesome women to say the least) worked with us and treated us with respect to get us approved. Now we have our dream car with red leather seats and a fast engine to drive everyday and we couldn’t be happier! Great people, great cars, and ever greater customer service! Honesty, Credibility, and Integrity. These are the values my wife and I found upon arriving at Hawthorne Motors. We first began speaking with Kari via the internet and phone, and it started there. There was no pressure. Everything they stated they lived up to. We decided to take the drive from Ft. Irwin / Barstow to their site, about a 2 hr drive. Never in my life did I think I would drive 2 hrs to see a vehicle....but my experiences in Victorville and Riverside left me bitter on many fronts. Upon arrival, was met with the whole crew of Kari, Mike and Shaun... they we all mutually supportive with one another and all focused on helping us. Mike was simply outstanding. Monica and I walked out with exactly what we wanted, exactly what we budgeted for, and were treated with all the dignity and respect one could ask for. It is easy to do if you are honest and transparent and not trying to exploit everyone that walks on the lot...and this crew / family has no such intention. Again, truly outstanding. I would recommend them without hesitation. Funny, we are already working with them on purchasing another vehicle from them this week.

LAST WEEK I PURCHASED A 2011 Arcadia and my experience was easy and a pleasure ..After my purchase a week went by and my ac was not cold ..so I called and they sent me to the mechanic and he refilled my Freon ..Great Customer service and easy to deal with ..not to mention the car was spotless and you can see they value the car and the customer ..Mike and Shawn ..,they were great ..!! We submitted an application for a vehicle we were interested in and they never called us back. When I called to check, someone picked up and I had to pretty much do all the talking the person on the phone was not interested to even speak and told me we couldnt afford the car. Took my business elsewhere the same day and got the same car with less miles at another dealer with more educated staff. Pretty much they never gave us a chance and didnt want our business. Thank God for that. I dont recommend this dealer seems they care more about the money more than anything.

I walked onto the lot because this beautiful gold VW was calling my name from the street, I was looking in the windows to how clean it was,..it was super clean. The next thing I know someone is asking me if I wanted to (get the keys and look inside) and take a test drive. This guy was friendly, I had some time so the next thing I know Im driving this car (test driving) at the same time Im falling in love with how smooth it drives. We return to dealership, we talk, Im signing a contract, Im the new owner of the gold VW I just only checking out on my way to the gym! The entire process was pretty fast and painless including the financing process because I dont have perfect credit, they made it all a breeze. Highly recommended! Keep up the great work guys.

Even harder still to find it locally. I went to Hawthorne Motors expecting a local dealer badda bing, badda boom - I got your car right here sales pitch. Not even close. I loved the car! Left the dealer about an hour later (I had to sleep on it) but came right back 30mins after again!! They were asking a fair price already - easily 20% than what other dealers were charging. You have to be realistic on your end otherwise these places wont be in business. I bought the car and couldnt be happier. Straightforward, courteous no b.s. service. I would suggest still taking your car to get it checked out if you can or work something out with them (I did). You are buying a used car after all. Its been more than 4 months since I purchased the car and I called twice for small issues (not car related). I feel like they still care and I bought a car from a friend. Thank you!!

I bought a 2012 GL450 11 months ago. 2 months later the air suspension went bad and had to replace them. I was advised by the salesman that the air suspension had recently been fixed. I put approximately $2K in maintenance and was shown the plugs were bad, transmission had never been serviced and air filters were bad as well. I had driven the car a little over 5K miles and the engine just went out and needed to be replaced. I contacted Hawthorne motors and they didnt bother calling me back to help with the issues. Horrible experience, horrible car, and horrible service. Buyers beware.

Very friendly staff, which is expected by someone who is trying to make a sale. It turns out that the salesman tried to hide the fact that there were 3 oil leaks in the engine by immediately putting the top down before the test drive. I did ask about the smell, but he avoided giving me a straight answer.I bought the special GWC Warranty, but they won’t cover the $1100+ repairs, since it is preexisting, since I noticed the smell before I bought it.I will be calling the dealership, but am not expecting much. We’ll see.

Dishonest place. They dont honor the deals you negotiate with them. Consumers watch out!!! It is a red flag for dishonesty. Prices and terms were discussed that I was not comfortable with. The manager made an attempt to save the sale and made another offer, I stated I had to consider. Later, when I counter offered and was rejected, I stated that I accepted the last offer made but they suddenly couldnt afford to do it anymore and asked for more $. They wouldnt honor what they offered. This sounds dishonest to me because they were initially able to do something then suddenly couldnt and asked for more $. Sounds like taking advantage and that is part of being dishonest or management should ensure they know what theyre talking about and what theyre offering prior to making an offer they suddenly cant afford.However, it was for the best. Lets all be kind and aware :-)

Would really suggest to take the car that you are buying to a mechanic shop of your choice to have it check out before you sign. this is something I was told by management because after you do they wont do nothing about it and you are also wasting their time after you sign for it also what I was told by management I just bought the car 15 days ago 2016 model so be careful with your investment... i took it back and they heard the noise so they took it to get fixed then gave me a bull**** excuse talking about repacking the axel and re torqued every the noise went away but it came back after 5 day then i took it back but they just played stupid saying that they did not hear anything and every time they heard it they will tell me oh Im sorry i didnt hear anything its just in your mind its a used car that hasnt been used in a while.... be careful when buying .. i am taking about just the management the sales person was friendly helpful... to be honest i could have gone to a new car dealer and get the same model car but brand new and 0 miles and pay the same amount a month because the apr is lower on a new car so it works out but now its too late I just found that out ..... ps I was told by management that they would be happy to take any vehicle to a shop to get inspected before I buy next time .. hope you dont get stuck with a junker like I did
