I have been a loyal guest here for the last two years- staying when I travel for work. Sadly, their customer service and cleanliness standards have steadily declined. Upon immediate entry into my room this was the state of the bathroom- no towels, no soap, and the toilet seat up. The entry floor was sticky as well. The closet had a dirty shirt hanging in it. Despite sharing my concern for the rooms cleanliness, the staff ignored my concerns and seemed annoyed that I complained. They sent towels up but no soap.During an earlier stay here I had to request toilet paper because there was NONE. Again, the staff was annoyed and asked me to come downstairs to pick it up. These are BASIC things. The fact that I even questioned what else hadn’t been cleaned should not occur in a hotel that should be a step above a roadside motel. I emailed the general manager about my concerns. It was clear that she didn’t even read my email and made an excuse that they had supplier issues with toilet paper. I used to love this hotel for business travel but so disappointed with the decline in cleanliness and customer service.

The property was good with no major issues. However, the front desk staff present at 12:30 AM (Vonne) was awful. I have a 3-year-old and a 5-year-old, both of whom were sleeping at 1 AM. My wife has a back problem and my 5-year-old has a fractured hand. I parked my car outside the property to drop off my sleeping children and wife, but she started shouting at me, saying I could not park there. I shrugged as I was carrying a sleeping child, and the front desk staff began screaming at me, accusing me of being rude in front of everyone. I didn’t respond and went back to my room.I have checked into many hotels of all classes, and this is the first time I have experienced something like this. Front desk employees are supposed to greet and help guests, not scream at them. I will not be coming back and will not be recommending this hotel to friends.

Overall the hotel is a great place to stay. Location is nice, kind a busy with all the shoppings and airport right next to. However, there are some general concerns to take in consideration. I would give 2 stars for the food. Breakfast was one of those heated frozen food. It’s a nice and modern hotel, so I would expect to have real fresh made food. Even with all the options around, I would prefer to have a nice meal in hotel, enjoy the backyard, and not go somewhere else. Also the air conditioner in the room is way too loud. With airless feel when turned off. So, it’s ether hot and airless when off, or cold and very noisy when on. I wish they have windows to open end feel fresh air. The air conditioner also blows right into your face while you in bed, not a good feeling. And one more thing, at 9am someone ( I believe the cleaning service or technical service- it was a male) opened the doors and walked in the room, without knocking, than saw me sitting there and quickly left. That’s was weird.

I’m 7 months pregnant and arrived to the hotel at 2:15p. Was told that rooms are ready but if I wanted to check in before 3pm, it would require an additional $50, even for Hilton Honor Members. That’s absolutely insane. There are a number of clean rooms available and unoccupied. Recommend going to Marriott 2 minutes away, similar pricing.

** Thieves** I do not recommend staying here, after paying $300 a night to stay there and they still want you to pay $16 every night you park. On top of that they will steal your room deposit, it have been a month now and still nothing. When I call to ask about my deposit refund they blame your bank. Only thing nice about this hotel was the breakfast and their rooms were not cleaned well at all.

Solid hotel stay. In several previous times staying in the area, I was hit with outrageous parking fees, inaccessible locations, and rooms that were just okay. This hotel stay was different. Beds were clean, rooms were in perfect condition. Staff was ready to handle all of our requests. Parking, while still requiring a fee, was plentiful and reasonably priced.Definitely the best hotel stay in the area. Would highly recommend.

Need to have all ice makers working. For the past 3 past stays, only the 5th floor ice maker was working. My husband reset the 1st floor, its 1 one of the things he did at Southwest Gas, plus did the wash and restarted it and worked perfectly.But this place suits our needs when coming into Long Beach.

Awesome location. Everything you need is a walk away. You have the hangar which is a food court and a shopping center. The stay was great and the staff was vert accomodating getting us a room on the 1st floor.

We checked in here after checking out of another hotel down the street that did not meet our standards. This hotel definitely did! The lady at the desk was very helpful and gave us great restaurant recommendations. The property is either new or newly renovated, the bathrooms were pristine. Our stay here was very refreshing.

This hotel was fabulous. The rooms, interior areas, exterior areas and pool were incredibly clean. There are lots of areas to relax, great breakfast and the location was fantastic. Tons of food nearby within walking distance and the area was nice and quiet. The best part was the level of customer service and staff from start to finish. Every person we dealt with from our initial phone call to checking out had a smile and seemed genuinely concerned that we were being taken care of. We will definitely be back!!

I have traveled all over and usually find Hampton properties to be a safe bet. This hotel room was dirt (I did not remove my shoes in the room). The front desk manager when asked if they would be servicing my room at some point stated I had declined service and due to the fact that I had done so at check in they would not be cleaning our room during our two night stay. Really? a I do not remember during her litany of information upon check in EVER DECLINING a aid service… the manager swears I did so and refused to clean our room. Which basically only needed fresh towels. And had they actually gone into our room would have discovered that. Our beds were even made. The staff was from then on very cold and unhelpful. The breakfast was a shining star but comes and goes from 6-9 am. Moving on…the beds here left our backs wrenched for days, the carpets need a good shampoo, their linens had holes in them and their towels were rust stained and the rooms could use a deep cleaning. Other than that… make sure the $250 a night you pay for gets you something other than a lumpy bed, surly service and no maid service.Good luck!

Stayed one night before a cruise. Amazing property! Super close to the airport and the shuttle picked us up quickly. We had preselected our room and had our key sent to our phones so we skipped the front desk altogether. Love that! Immaculately clean, nice decor, beautiful pool area and a big screen in the lobby/breakfast area with comfy chairs where I watched the game. Our room was spacious with two queen beds and an enormous bathroom with a space saving and cute pocket door. Great breakfast in the morning and a short walk to whole foods and other shopping. California Fish grill and Habit burger across the street. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely stay again.

Had a pleasant stay for 3 nights here. Great location that is close to most of the necessities. Parking was $14 a night and there’s ample parking solace. Rooms were clean and secured. Reps at front desk were responsive and helpful. Would stay again.

Staff decided to help others and I was the only one patiently waiting in line. After checking in to my room, I asked the front desk if I could get my bathroom cleaned as it smelled like pee, they informed us, they could not fit us into their schedule. Parking was $14 a day and room already expensive. As a business owner myself and coming to this facility on business, this was not a pleasant stay at all! Since the hotel was a split hotel, my family and I ended up moving and staying an additional 7 days ( which they consider) on the better side, it was no different. Just wore my review on the Homewood Suites as well. Just horrible! I would NEVER refer any of my colleagues to stay at the Hampton in Long Beach.

This could have easily been a 5 star review but, unfortunately, several factors have instead led to 1 star. On a positive note, I thought that the rooms were very modern and nice. The pool and jacuzzi also looked very nice although I didnt use them. There were several restaurants within walking distance which was convenient. I was also pleased the the variety and quality of the breakfast. However, the reasons for the 1 star are as follows: the most concerning issue are very thin walls. Flying in from the east coast, Im going to bed early and I can easily hear all of my neighbors even though they are only speaking in conversational tones. Second, charging for parking in an area where there is no shortage of parking is simply a cash grab and a hidden fee. My room didnt have an iron and it was quite a debacle to get one. In fact, I tried calling the manager, Gabriela and she never answered her phone or returned my e-mails. Finally, the elevator doors are set to try to close pretty aggressively and they hit me pretty hard, knocking my coffee on my shirt through the lid (I ended up having to buy another shirt). All in all, I wish it would have been a great stay but it wasnt.

Really nice hotel. Rooms are well kept and look nice. Staff is friendly and helpful. Large lobby area, with free breakfast for guests.Another thing I like is they only clean your room on request. You dont have to worry about leaving the Do Not Disturb tag on your door every day.Stayed here for work, and sounds like my company has used this place many times when stuff come to our site in Long Beach. I never thought I would write a glowing review for an airport hotel but this Hampton Inn is no mere utilitarian place to lay your head. We stayed here on a long layover from Hawaii back to the midwest. Although we only stayed a few hours, it was absolutely delightful! The airport shuttle was prompt and the driver was friendly. The front desk staff was warm and helpful in recommending a restaurant nearby that was still open. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with a bed and shower to die for. Just what we needed to rest up between two long flights!

Unfortunately for a great hotel they do NOT have cameras anywhere in the parking lot so if your car gets robbed there is nothing they can do.Staff is great and the area is one of the best to be in but it being safe and having some sort of comfort knowing you are staying at a huge chain hotel but they don’t even have cameras or any security so beware. They do not prove match as well so even if you screenshot Priceline they just auto send an email denying your claim without any help.

I travel 3 to 4 times a month for my company whose preferred hotel is Hilton. In doing so I have become very accustomed to Hiltons standards and this affiliate is not living up to it.First the room I was in was barely big enough to fit my two suit cases which were squeezed into a corner. The lamp shed on the desk was broken and continuously fell down. I did not have an ironing board in my room, however they did bring one sometime while I was at work. The pillows......wow the pillows! I used all four and it still felt like I was lying directly on the mattress.Now lets move to customer service. I headed in to work at 3:40AM and stopped by the front desk to place a room service request for the following day which was Monday. Well, that day came and upon my late return to my room I noticed it had not been touched. Asking the front desk they had determined that the attendant on duty had not placed the request. Then proceeded to ask me for a description of the person. I asked her if it was normal for them to not have a schedule of their staff hours worked. I had asked for towels to be sent to my room and waited for them to arrive so I could bathe and get ready for another early day. Well it took them nearly 2 hours to bring me the towels.Now, I was ready to hear a scripted apology but to my surprise there was no one there and the towels were left in a plastic bag on the floor at the door. Again, very familiar with Hilton standards and this is certainly not it. I have another business trip out there and I am opting to travel an extra few miles just to avoid staying at this hotel. I am going to miss the restaurants across the street as they are very good. It just is not worth being so uncomfortable for my stay.The location is great and the hotel itself is lovely but for me the greatness stopped there. I do have photos but I dont think that it is fair to post them as not all Hilton affiliates are like this. Attitude reflects leadership and this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth that I wont soon forget.

This was a great hotel. We stayed for two nights. The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. We saw multiple rotations of deal staff and even what looked like some training and all was good. The morning breakfast was a treat saved running to the donut shop to spend an outrageous amount. Free coffee was a good touch as well. The hotel is less than a block away from a small shopping plaza with a dozen stores and four or five eateries. It was nice not having a rental to just walk across the street. The room itself was a good size room, clean, AC worked. Staff were attentive if you needed towels or soap. We were happy overall and will stay there again should we cruise out of California again.

Tried to get a late check out and they said we had to get up early to ask for it after getting in really late? Why even be a diamond member? We traveled through Long Beach on our way to Maui for our Anniversary. This hotel was a fantastic find!Not only did we get a spacious room, the bed was comfortable too. There was a sofa with two rolling ottomans so we could both watch tv and put our feet up which was clever to offer. The biggest draws for us were the complimentary shuttle to and from the airport and the breakfast offered. It was a very nice breakfast with many selections to choose from. We also went to check out the pool and hot tub which we didn’t use but would have if we were staying longer.

They gave me the run around for a late check out, and after I ran around, they wanted to charge. As an owner of Hilton Vacation, I would rank the service a 1 and would not stay here again. There must have been a snafu, when another guest entered my room quickly realizing there was a mistake. I walked and picked up food at a local restaurant, upon returning, my card key would not work, possibly due to the snafu. Back down to the front desk, I had to wait in line to reprogram my card key and noticed others with the same problem. Getting back into my room, I only ate half of my cold dinner. Obviously not my best stay at this Hampton. Ill probably stay elsewhere for my next business visit due to this stay, and also avoiding the ridiculous and totally unnecessary $14/day parking fee.

Called in this morning at 6 am to make a reservation I asked for an early check in and was told to call the front desk if a few hours. After calling three hours later was told there would be no early check in. I asked if I can cxl my reservation the representative put the Manager Jennie on the phone who was extremely rude. She kept telling me I was yelling mind you I’m hearing impaired. She told me because I was yelling I was going to be charged for the full night stay. This lady jenni the manager must have something against people with disabilities. I advices they pull that call for HR training.

My family has stayed at a lot of hotels over the years but never experienced such a thoughtful and welcoming front desk person like we did the other evening. We called to request a shuttle from the airport and the woman said she would be there in about 10 minutes and for us to wait inside since it was cold out (which is was). She picked us up right on time. On the drive to the hotel she gave us excellent recommendations for food that evening. Once we arrived at the hotel, she checked us in. The online checkin system assigned us a room but she changed it because she said the new room would be more convenient to my family which included my 3 young children. She was working her rump off and was so busy but still was so incredibly nice.

Beautiful and comfortable hotel that’s close to Long Beach airport. Breakfast wasn’t good but manageable. It’s not at the level of embassy suites but the hotel is modern and clean. The shuttle took us almost an hour to get and it was very frustrating having to keep calling when I’m being told it’s 10 minutes more. The lady who came could have been courteous but instead when we explained our issue with the delays she proceeded to tell us that the hotel doesn’t make a penny from airport transport and they are the only hotel that provides such service. Idk if the fuel comes out of her paycheck but that was tacky and unprofessional. So In essence we shouldn’t give any feedback that’s negative even if true because it’s like she’s doing us a huge favor. Airport is shuttle is offered by the airport and advertised by them. It should take an hour to receive and if it’s such a burden then don’t offer it plain and simple

Staff is very friendly and greeted us in passing throughout the hotel. Our room was much more than we expected. We reserved a room with 2 queen beds and a sofa couch. Upon arriving we got that and more. It was very clean and spacious. We also had lounge chairs and a small table inside. It had a small kitchen with dishes, dishwasher, microwave, small stove & good size fridge. We were just expecting a mini fridge with nothing else. The bathroom had a good size tub & plenty of towels.It had a getting ready sinkBefore you go into the actual bathroom with more towels. Room was so spacious which is nice when you have little ones. There was plenty of room to play! We loved our stay and we were very impressed with our room. Breakfast bar was good too. Went for a seminar, got box lunches, same both days, bread/roll for sandwich was hard/stale, the cookies were burnt. Your hotel should order from outside, cant believe to you served this lunch to your guests. I think your food staff should take a walk across the drive way to see a real sandwich, you should have just ordered from Jersey Mikes it would have been fresher and taste much better than what you are serving.Your staff has no imagination when it comes to providing a boxed lunch, same old, same old, for two days in a row, so sad, they need to go back to culinary school, if they even went.I cant believe the food and banquet manager(s) would serve such an unacceptable meal.Have the managers eat the same box lunch for two days, believe me you will change your cooking / kitchen staff by the second day of eating the boxed lunches you provided.

The service at the hotel was exceptional! The front desk manager, Jennifer, was amazing from start to finish. The staff treated myself and others in my party like individuals and took care of our needs. They saw it was our graduation weekend and went out of their way to make it special for us. Jennifer was at the center of this amazing service! I already started the process of booking my stay here when I come back in a few months. Also, the courtyard/pool area was fantastic, and much better than the hotel named Courtyard next door. We had friends staying there and they kept coming to our hotel because it was better!

So far my family and I love this hotel. Located in a pretty safe area and very well kepted.My only concern on my last visit was the carpet in various areas were obvious dirty.The cleaning crew and management may need to pay attention to this before it gets too out of control.Otherwise, I would continue to recommend this hotel to travelers.

Great stay! The beds were very comfortable, and the room was impeccably clean. The bathroom was big, and spotless. The lotions and soaps were nicer quality than what you normally get, and the soap didnt leave that dry feeling on my skin. The towels were some of the fluffiest I have used in a hotel--very soft. The door to the bathroom was a large sliding floor-to-ceiling mirror, that had a closet behind it. It was a very unique use of the space. The breakfast was delicious and full of many options. The staff were courteous and very helpful. It was too cold to use the pool, so I didnt get to check that out. Definitely recommend!

I was at this hotel for 5 nights and we loved it. The amenities were great, breakfast was delicious, and the parking fee was only $12/ day. Thats a steal in Long Beach. The beds were so comfortable, AC was cold, and I always appreciate a glass enclosed shower. The rooms did not have a microwave, but that wasnt an issue for my group.

Best service I’ve received at a Hilton owned hotel in a long time. The staff are incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming. Everything felt very clean and we especially appreciated the gloves and hand sanitizer at the breakfast buffet. Absolutely loved the make your own waffles station at breakfast. We also enjoyed using the hot tub which was huge! You also cannot beat the location of this hotel. It’s a quick five minute ride from the airport using the hotel shuttle and there are a ton of restaurants walking distance from the hotel.

The room was very nice, clean, and everything was in working order. The staff was wonderful and prompt. The gym and pool were both very nice and clean. Loved the lemon-orange water in the lobby. Breakfast was great one day (waffles, smoothies, eggs, sausage) but the special weekend breakfast (biscuits and gravy, omelettes) was a disappointment. Reminded me of school lunch. Thank you to the maid Maria who was working the lobby area! She was wonderful with helping us and had a great sense of humor. She was always very upbeat and quick to help.

A great place to stay. We had a kitchenette and 2 queen beds with a foldout. Breakfast every morning was good, nothing fancy, and filling. They have an evening get together Monday through Thursday, which includes drinks and a light meal. Our Thursday was Thanksgiving. It was pretty good. Probably better than many restaurants would serve and the best part included in the price of the room. Staff was very friendly and exceptionally helpful. You wouldnt have to ask for something, they would have already thought of it. They were accommodating with every request. Thank you for your service!

Front desk experience was very friendly and helpful, but room left a lot to be desired. Bathroom was wonderful, but bed had uncomfortable springs and cleanliness was lacking. Moved the rooms chair to watch a movie and found a moldy piece of fruit underneath it, and a used plastic spoon inside the cushion. This really deterred me from wanting to stay here, again.Very conveniently located though, I was able to take a short trip down the block to many restaurants and wholefoods for groceries.

Only giving 5 stars so my review shows!I recently stayed at this hotel with family and the room was DISGUSTING!! The bed sheets had yellow stains on it as well as other furniture in the room had bodily fluids looking stains. I know it’s a hotel and plenty of people are coming in and out but housekeeping needs to do a better job at keeping things sanitary! The front desk didn’t even change my room and said it was to late and housekeeping was gone for the day. Completely unbelievableI wish could upload the pictures I took just to show how unsanitary it this hotel is.

Edit 2023: I stayed in this hotel again and the experience was much better than my previous stay. The hotel shuttle from Long Beach Airport was prompt. The room was clean and all lighting worked. The room was clean. Being a newer hotel, the rooms have a nice layout. The room was quiet even though it is located on a busy street. Breakfast was as expected for a Hampton Inn. It was opened up on time ant the buffet area was clean and well stocked.Old Review---This hotel was in surprisingly poor shape for its age. My room was dirty. There was no coffee provided in the room. I was charged a mini bar fee of $12 when the room had no mini bar or water. The lamp on the desk was in disrepair. The bathroom vent was full of black stringy mildew or mold. To make things more frustrating, the Wi-Fi had very poor quality. On the upside, the hotel is in a great location with lots of food options within walking distance.

Nice looking hotel. They have a lot of fees. The remote control to our room had issues changing channels. They didnt stock the room with enough towels. The bathroom door doesnt stay shut. The spa heater is broken so its the same temp as the pool. The rooms dont come with dressers. The shower door handle is wobbly, a hazard for those who depend on it for leverage. Parking is $12/day. I wanted to leave a wonderful review after I stayed at this Hampton Inn for my wedding reception nearby, but I can’t. There were issues with the rooms before we even arrived. I got a call several days before my stay saying they didn’t have the joining rooms (one being ADA) that was available for me to reserve on the website weeks earlier. Why allow us to choose specific room situations and send confirmations if they aren’t actually reserved for you during your dates…? At least put a note saying it’s a ‘request’ not a reservation and you may not be able to be accommodated during your stay.Then, when I arrived at the hotel, my room check in was fine but my parent’s room was ‘unavailable’?? And they were going to get put in the Homewood suites side of the hotel, far from me. But when my parent’s arrived they asked to be closer to me, and could forgo the ADA accessibility because we traveled very far to be together during our special occasion and they’re mobility limited. The receptionist put them on the same floor as me and my fiancé. During the stay, the hair dryer was broken and my parent’s room was missing one altogether. They were otherwise tidy and relatively new/updated rooms.Time to get billed. I got my receipt for our two rooms. Come to check my credit card later and we get billed for THREE rooms! They charged me by mistake for the homewood suites room even tho my parents never stayed there. They only reimbursed me when the cleaning service report said the room was vacant at the end of our stay. What if they double booked, would I not have been reimbursed even though it wasn’t our fault and it wasn’t my parents in that room? What kind of proof could I possibly have showed them that it wasn’t my parents? I can’t afford an additional $500 out of pocket for their mistake. I’m so disheartened. I did get my money back, but I’m also disappointed that even after saying we’d be there for my wedding and referring to our room as the ‘bride and groom’s’ room during every interaction and in the reservation notes, we didn’t get any acknowledgment we chose their hotel for our special occasion - no champagne, rose petals, or even a congrats card. I’ve stayed and smaller, cheaper hotels that have done more for our anniversaries. The receptionists were nice, and they tried to set things right, but from beginning to end our multi-reservation stay was unorganized chaos - and during such a chaotic time of planning and throwing a wedding with a million other things to worry about, it was exhausting and came to haunt me almost a month later with erroneous charges for hundred of dollars. I don’t think I’ll be booking with Hilton/Hampton Inn for any more special occasions, it just doesn’t seem worth it to me sadly.

I suspect I waited in the lobby for 2+ hours because theyd rather talk amongst themselves then radio the cleaning staff. Location is close to airport, but with surprisingly little noise from the airplanes, and right across the street from a new shopping center with a few food options and a whole foods. $11 to park in the hotel lot.

Well, where to start..... First time visiting this new hotel.Hampton inn has always been one of my favorite destinations. However. even thought this site is basically brand new, there are some serious things that should be mentioned.No food available on site or within a reasonable walking distance other than chips and soda from the small store on site. No bottled water available in room. (for purchase or otherwise). Those are two main items to note when staying her. Staff was fantastic, the entire site is spotless and room was great. However, access to food and drink is kind of a basic human commodity. Rood service isnt even available. The closest place for those items are at a competitors hotel or ride sharing to a pub or restaurant. I would stay here only if it was for a short time and I didnt need to eat. Shuttle service from the Long Beach airport is hit and miss. I would recommend ride sharing service, which is quicker. Thats about it.

Check in was easy. We chose the Park and Fly package. The shuttle going to the airport was good but getting the shuttle pickup on our return was a little less than desirable. Our flight returned at 9:30 pm. Before we left on our trip, we notified the front desk of our late return. They assured us the shuttle would be available even if our flight was a little late. The Air Conditioner in the room was very noisy.The sliding door to the bathroom wouldnt remain closed and slid open all the time.No microwave in the rooms (microwave ovens cost ~$70, so this is just being cheap).No microwave in a public area means its very inconvenient to heat up food (asking staff, waiting for them to walk back, discovering you didnt heat it enough, asking them again, etc). I was only in town for one day and decided to stay here because of the close proximity to the airport I was flying in from. I arrived earlier than checkout and was helped to check in early which was super appreciated. I had an appointment that day at 3 PM and was having trouble getting an Uber. I expressed my concerns to Adrian at the front desk and he was extremely sympathetic towards my situation. I had an Uber but they canceled on me after waiting 25 minutes and the next one wasn’t going to be available for another 40 minutes which would have made me miss my appointment, the only reason I was there 2000 miles away from home in Indianapolis. Adrian so very kindly asked his manager if he could use the shuttle to take me to my appointment a few miles away to which she obliged. I can’t think him enough because he saved my trip and my day and did so with a smile on his face. Not only that he got me there safely quickly and was great conversation along the way. He went above and beyond customer service wise and I would never hesitate to stay here again on future trips because of the treatment I received. I was practically in tears and stressed to the max and he handled the situation flawlessly. The hotel was also very accommodating towards my service animal which was super appreciated as well. When I was ready to check out I got a shuttle back to the airport and I did not get her name but the person who took me was extremely friendly and got me there quickly so that I could make my flight with more than enough time to spare. Thank you so much and if I’m ever in the area I will be back to stay again.

The hotel is by far one of the cleanest and modern hotels Ive ever stayed at. The bed is on the firm side for me but my wife lived it. I wont downgrade a star for that as mattresses are unpredictable when it comes to comfort. The breakfast was good and they had an actual belt style toaster instead of a standard bread toaster. Cooked the bagels to perfection. My first impression of this hotel would have given it a decent rating. Its nearly built so everything is still fresh and clean. The agent who checked us in was extremely friendly with a great smile. She was able to accommodate us when were requested a room that wasnt ground floor. When we got to the room is was very clean and well laid out. The bed was comfy with all white linens. Also, the room has a TON of plug ins to charge your devices.Now for the negatives. First, parking is $11 a day, which seems to be pretty normal for california. But the rates were high for a Hampton to begin with, so I felt like parking should have been included. Second, the curtains do not fully close (see photo), leaving a 4 wide gap that lines up directly with the bed. Im not sure the point of black out curtains if they dont shut. Needless to say, I was awake at 6am because of that. On vacation, I prefer to sleep in, not rise with the sun.

This hotel seemed like a decent place to stay and in a good area. My husband and I stayed here for a weekend in July while repairs were being made in our home which is down the street. We didnt take a suitcase with us as we went home to change and get ready. We went out on a Saturday morning and didnt return until around 10pm only to discover that the only 2 items we had in the hotel room (designer belt and expensive bottle of whiskey) were missing. I immediately called the front desk to report it and they said they would contact housekeeping the next morning which was when we were going to check out. I followed up and housekeeping stated they didnt see or take anything. They assumed the room was vacant as we did not have a suitcase or many items in the room. Regardless, this still does not explain what happened with the 2 items I did have in the room. Apparently it went missing and so I reported a claim with the hotel because this has never happened to me before. Well we are now in January and this incident occurred in July, yet it is impossible to get in touch with the claims adjuster, and the hotel staff just says they cant do anything about it. It might seem like a minuscule incident, but for me it is about the principle. Theft occurred (or maybe they trashed it because they believed the room was vacant or checked-out), yet they deny it, the claim process has not progressed, and they clearly have staff that lacks integrity. If you stay here, make sure you keep ANYTHING of value in the safe. I didnt think I would have to put a bottle and belt in a safe (usually Ill put laptops, documents, wallets, etc) but I guess they are now saying it is my fault for not using the safe. This is ridiculous and I should be reimbursed for what was taken or trashed from my room, it is as simple as that. Have some honesty, integrity, decency, and at least treat your customers with respect and repay what has been taken.

Due to Covid 19, pool appts are made 2 hr blocks. No maid service, must call if need any service. Jacuzzi and bbqs closed. Pool very warm. 11 people allowed per 2 hour block. Seems only 5 or 6 go each time?? Masks required. Breakfast served to you from counter and you must take back to your room. Its 12.00 to park, but cant use any amenities. 50. Day incidental charge. Returned if you Dont Use. Nice beds. So if I had to say, anything not worth 100+ to stay. I lost my mask the 2nd day, right before going to pool, called downstairs and let them know I was running late for pool, lost mask! ( have to meet at desk, get bracelets, towels and escorted to pool). They had nor offered me a mask to get to pool. So 3 yr old missed out on pool time. Will try again at 6. Not a good experience.

Seems like an average Hampton Inn, which is to say, a nice place to stay overnight. Points deducted for having no restaurant nor room service, although they do offer free breakfast buffet in the mornings.Only nearby eating spots appear to be fast food places. Ugh.Front desk staff were friendly, welcoming and polite. They had some issue running my payment card but couldnt explain what the problem was. Checking with my bank later didnt produce any answers either so I have to suspect something wrong with the hotels payment system, so points taken away for that also.Room seems fine, average nice and the pool looks good also. The bathroom is clean and the shower looks like it has been well-cleaned. They dont have a hand-held shower head so points off for that too.Finally, no comfy lounge chair to rest or sleep in, only beds plus an uncomfortable desk chair with a low back and a narrow seat pan. Points taken off for that also.Overall, slightly disappointing for a Hampton Inn but a decent place if you just need a place to sleep overnight.=================Added later:It gets worse: the blackout drapes cannot be fully closed, so there is a three- or four-foot gap where you can only close the sheer curtains - i.e., theres no way to really block the sun in the morning.Arrgghh....We should have stayed at the Marriott Courtyard across the street!

Everything was fine until a roach was in my bed, i called the front desk & they didnt believe me but still sent someone to check. He found it of course & took it with as proof i wasnt lying. NEVER GOT A PHONE CALL BACK to apologize or anything’s, i had to go downstairs to see what was going to be done. All i was offered was maybe priority for housekeeping. Nice rooms, brand new hotel!That was my original review on this Hotel and because of the first impression I gave 5 🌟s.As you can guess this is not how it stayed.Today we left our room at about 9 am and went shopping. Until then, we had the not disturbing sign outside which we put back inside when we left. In the hallway, one of the housekeeping ladies saw us leaving the room.We came back to the hotel around 2.30 pm and were surprised that the room hadnt been cleaned yet. We called the front desk and told them that the room wasnt done. The lady at the front desk was really surprised and told us, she was going to send someone. As we just came back to our room we were wondering what we should do while our room would be made. So we asked the lady what she wanted us to do, stay in the room and watch the housekeeping clean our room? or invite us for a small compensation, like a soda, beer or something else. The front desk lady said she would ask her manager and call us back.Instead of a call, the executive housekeeper Irma knocked on our door and told us that the housekeeping is still in progress and that they usually work until 5 pm. So we asked her the same question, what does she want us to do... She said that we can stay in the room or wait outside...This really upsetted us. Irma kept saying there was nothing she can do besides of cleaning the room. So we asked again if there was really nothing she/they can do for us and if not, we would put this in our review.Irma and two of her employees started to clean the room. It was really awkward sitting on the bed, watching the housekeeping cleaning our room. One of the employees kept saying that they werent supposed to clean the room while the guests are in the room...When they left we were trying to call the manager (R.J. Escobodo) again. When we finally reached him he had already talked to Irma. He told us, as we were threatening Irma with a bad review, we wouldnt get any compensation at all. After a 10 minute phone call and being accused of threatening the housekeeping we decided to change the review into this one. 🤐The only thing we were asking for was a small compensation while our room was being cleaned so we could let the housekeeping to their job. Instead, we got an experience we never intended to get.

The nicest Hampton I’ve stayed at out of about a hundred. Also the only one where I have paid for parking ($11/night seems steep for uncovered unmonitored surface park). My street facing room is noisier than I would like.The gym is bright and clean, with plenty of space for a few more machines or benches to complete the workout space and routine (LOCKNLOAD lever machines 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻).

If the food manager only realized that a LOT of the kitchen staff are rude, loud, and said very loudly that white people should go back to Europe. Seriously?
