Popular place to co-work in Silicon Valley. They have a underground vibe, but they have been around for many years, and some of the best startups in Silicon Valley started there.This is an excellent spot to come co work if you are looking to meet like minded professionals. They also host daily events catered to developers and founders which are open to the public.I recently started organizing events at their venue and I love working with Girish and the Hacker Dojo staff. They are friendly and super helpful.If you don’t have a membership, I definitely recommend you check the place!

Great experience at the hacking community. Open to all and very welcoming to all guests and visitors. Apparently I was the first Kenya to visit the place and I really loved it.

It is impossible to stop the billing. Ive done it at least five times this last year and then I continue to get billed Im going to have to cancel my corporate card. Its unbelievable no matter how many messages you send its just impossible to get this group to quit billing you once you join

Wonderful co-working space. Ive been a member here for many months. Very welcoming, clean and fun place to do serious work. You can book private rooms in advance, there are phone booths and lots of free coffee. Ed and Stephanie are great, and will answer all of your questions. Everyone is very friendly. Cant ask for more.

Excellent community of makers, hackers, and curious minds. The new MV location is a vibrant amalgamation of art and function. Definitely worth checking out! They have 3D printing, vacuum forming, laser cutting, electronics, heat press for vinyl, button making, bench grinder, acrylic bending machine, soldering, and lots of other tools.

Hacker Dojo is an awesome communal maker space in the heart of Silicon Valley. The Dojo has lots of great resources for whatever project youre working on. Members are heavily computer science-oriented, but there are tools, books, and equipments for all kinds of makers. You can relax or work in one of the many rooms available. And most organized activities are open to all. Guests are welcome to drop in for free (although donations are appreciated). Memberships are also available for $100/month, although this is pretty steep unless you are working from here at least part-time. Definitely check it out!

I regularly attend a music production meet-up here (every other week). The facility is great for what it was designed for, a meeting place for tech-enthusiasts and entrepreneurs. It has medium-sized meeting rooms and a general area with tables and chairs for collaborating. There are half-built robots and 3d printing projects scattered about (apparently there are 3d printers available to members onsite) making it an interesting place to visit for the techno-curious. The acoustics in the meeting rooms however do not suit our music production meet-up needs well so we are looking for a new location. But for less musical needs I can see the potential this place has for engineer types in this area.

Great place to study or hangout with friends. It is a shared workspace with several various sized rooms. Machinery, such as 3D printers, may also be shared. Membership is not required to use the space, but it is recommended. Guests may only stay until 10 PM unless they are with a member. Events may be held with membership.

This is a communal working space for creative people. I dont really know how else to describe it. It looks like the majority of the users are software developers, but I was also told there are photographers, web designers, businessman, etc. Theres a suggested donation of $10 to visit and work at the area. Monthly membership is $100 and it comes with plenty of benefits like faster internet connection, access to workshops and happy hours, 24 hours access (visitors need to leave by 10 PM) and many more.Its a good alternative for those that need a change in workshop, or just to meet other creative people with same (or different?) interest. Ive visited the facility twice for a workshop and office hour, and it looks like I will be coming back more often for other reasons.

Loved the hacker dojo event with the dark mode. It was wonderful networking with some silicon valley engineers and entrepreneurs and discussing ideas. The host also gave an excellent tour around the place, and there are a lot of free trainings - robotics, startups and more!Would give this place a 6/5 if possible, definitely must visit once and attend their events :DPs: Events list can be found on meetup if we search for hackerdojo

Still not 100% sure on exactly the point of the place, but I think people can rent out certain rooms for a block of time if you need a place for a meeting or have a group and need to get stuff done whether its computer coding, electronic engineers, producing music and whatever else they have going on! They also have some TVs with a PS4, GameCube and maybe other consoles if you need a break or just to chill from the work flow.

The new space at 599 Fairchild in Mountain View is amazing- a great place to work/collaborate/hang out with amazing people with a lot of diverse technical talents. If you want interaction/energy you can find it there. Need some quiet space? You can find it there too. Well worth the monthly cost.

I had a membership here for many years, but they have a new executive director mr Choudhry, he is absolutely crazy, psycho and would randomly interrupts client meetings etc, big problem/trouble, as long as he is around DO NOT PAY for a membership. There are many other co working spaces where paid membership gets you a better environment.

OMG! OMG!!! I brought my friends there for a visit, and looked at this place through their eyes, afresh. What a fantastic place for a one-person startup, or for a small group. To test their new idea, to build a prototype (there is a machine shop there, with a laser cutter among other things), to interact with other enthusiasts there during the short breaks. Short, because most of the time everybody is working, immersed in their stuff.

Moved to Santa Clara. This place changed management and principles a long time ago. I left in 2015 when it was still in Mountain View. Still a pretty decent bargain price for a coworking space - as long as the new location works for you.

This is the is third incantation of the Hacker Dojo. I am a long time member. The oldest co working space in Silicon Valley, HD offers 24-hour access and many membership types, to suit students to coders alike. Group working spaces as well as dedicated desk. Very cool and productive workspace but extremely upset about the internet connection! Paid for a month and was promised 45 mbps. However, they block all speed-test websites and it takes me over 3 minutes to upload a 20MB file which makes me question their speeds. As dramatic as this all sounds, it does slow down my work quite a bit.

It sure is exciting to have this humongous new space. Instead of having the repurposed warehouse look (although it was repurposed nicely) this has the I once housed startups feel which is sooo much more appropriate for a Silicon valley hang-out space.I do think it needs to be filled with more people/stuff, though. Hear that people? Fill it!

I wanted to check out the space (at what I thought was a free event (no mention of a fee in the description)), but after driving half an hour away, was told (by a receptionist that rolled her eyes constantly when I was speaking to her) that I had to pay 40 dollars to get into the event. I was displeased, but I asked if I could at least look around. The receptionist then proceeded to say no, because there is food and beverage out, as if I was just going to run in and stuff my face and run out. Needless to say, there is no way in hell that I am going to come back to this place.
