Its one of my favorite place to go when I want to find Korean or other Asian groceries. Theres a huge selection of fresh food, fruit, vegetables, cakes and even kimchi. The items are very neatly laid out, well organized and clean, even in the fresh meat or fish area there is no smell. The staff are friendly and professional. Its a real pleasure to shop here.

Great selection of freshly prepared food and snacks to choose from. They have the original Deli Manjoo, although a little sparse on their custard filling- could use a little more. They also have spam sushi- prepared just as it’s made back on Guam. 😍

Clean, Organized, Asian Market. Price is OK. The indomie was on sale for $2.99 per 5 packs. I grabbed 30 packs for $18 without hesitation. Miss the days when indomie was $9 on sale for 30 packs at pretty much every asian grocery stores.

Parking is super easy even on the weekends. This H mart is a little bigger than some h marts. There is a section that sells a lot of home and kitchen products. There is also a Tous Les Jours bakery and various food court as you walk in. There are some tables and chairs for dining. You can also purchase HMart ready to eat bento,kimchi,grilled mackerel, food items to eat on site as well. Overall, this HMart is clean, big and well organized. There is a small wine and alcohol section near one of the check out areas.

Ive been to this HMart location many times. They have everything there. Besides the groceries, theres a bakery and other eat-in food options (like a mini food court style where you can order your food from I think 3-4 vendors, then you can sit and wait for your order, pick it up and eat or take out), plus other areas surrounding the main grocery where there are other shops to buy Beauty, & household items, etc. Its convenient to have all these options but be prepared to spend some time there because its always crowded, just walking around getting all your necessities then waiting in line to check out may take some time. They always have enough cashiers, but because there are so many people that shop here, expect to wait to get out. Thats the only reason I put 4 stars.

In the mood for a poke bowl and wanted to make my own from scratch. Went to 99 Ranch initially and came to a conclusion, the sashimi section in the store doesn’t amount to Super H Mart. The seafood is extremely fresh, as well as the produce and everything else in the store. I absolutely love coming here, I should come more often, worth the drive!

A cashier got really upset that I stood there without bagging my groceries and it was not busy at all. I know the same cashier looked upset last time when I was standing in front of cashier as well but I just assumed she was having a bad day. This time she gave my reusable bags to my old mom and told her to bag our groceries. I didn’t think it was right at all. I’ve never had any stores including other Hmart stores in USA get upset over not bagging our groceries. It is a part of cashier’s job. I’m hoping that they buy groceries in other stores and see how it works or just google it. If it is a store policy, then notify customers in front of cashiers to reduce this type of ridiculous nonsense tension.

It is a crowded place on the weekends with cases of people bumping into each other and yelling at each other. They should have available smaller shopping carts rather than full size carts that cause chaos in the aisles. It seems managers are not able to help with the flow of people. Good part of the supermarket is that there are small stores and restaurants inside selling good food and cosmetics.

I never thought I would say this, but HMart doesnt sell high quality foods anymore. I understand that times are tough and the recession and inflation is really causing prices for something as cheap as lettuce (used to be) to double in price! But they have been having really bad produce for the last 5 months. Im not really sure what it is, do the farms they source have a contamination problem or their warehouse, but Ive been getting a particular kind of mold infestation. I thought it was strange that all the vegetables I buy from them start molding in the middle (inside, like the heart of the lettuce) and it happens really fast! Spinach used to last a long time but it molds in a week when purchased here! The green and red lettuce as well. How can I tell? I went to a Food4Less on the way home from work near Pomona, bought a green lettuce and its been weeks, its still okay! No weird middle mold. Today, I bought some Thai basil, and 1/3rd of it already has diseased leaves! Theyre literally passing this on to customers, bundle of the Thai basil is now $3.72.... Im paying for dead vegetables. And I have been losing so much money having to throw all the vegetables away. Its kind of infuriating, because that means Id have to constantly go back to a market or make more trips. Working full time, I have to shop on the weekend, so that line to check out is a big nightmare on Friday-Sunday. Like WOW, theres so many people... And only 4-6 checkout lines for a super HMart (a few only designated for debit/credit cards only). Until they have better quality control, I will not be buying vegetables here anymore. Maybe the meat for Korean style food, the rice cakes, which I freeze anyway, packaged sealed products, and kimchi.

Hmart is famous to be a Korean grocery store. You can find all kind of Korean food over here. Not only that, you will see lots of Asian food as well.They have very wide selection of grocery available. You sometime can find budget buys of Asian vegetables and fruits. I can here a few times try to find Korean style meat. They also serve ready made Korean food. But I found those are price bit high.Overall, I would recommend here and will come here for grocery if I were nearby.

I found 1 kg (2.2 lbs) cream soup powder at $9.99 the best price with this quality in the region. Usually the same kind costs $3~4 for a three oz (0.1 kg) pack.Its good quality, tastes good, and the maker is reliable. One bowl of soup takes only 20 g, so the 1 kg package can make 50 bowls. Never hungry in the morning.

H-Mart used to be much better but it has gone steadily down in quality over the years. This is most evident in the meat and seafood department. I no longer buy meat here because I keep getting old meat sold to me. It looks good in the package but once I open it up, I can smell that they arent disposing of their old meat. Instead they treat it with a bleach solution to wash away the smell and discoloration and resell it. This old meat will spoil quickly again. Ive bought chicken, pork, and beef that have all been treated in this manner. Also the seafood department tends to be overpriced compared to other Asian markets in the area. I still go here due to convenience but the slide is quality has been staggering.

BEWARE on H Mart’s promo strategy: they often advertising promotion items throughout the store but they don’t actually give you the discounted pricing. Talked to the cashier after realizing it’s not being charged correctly and checked twice then explained that they didn’t enter into computer system....... be shopping there every week and now we will pay close attention if we go back again.

First, let me say I am glad to have an H Mart within 15 miles of my home. It’s a nice change from the 99 Ranch market.With that said, my daughter loves this place. They have a ton of snacks and food, which can only be found here. Considering the type of products they have I believe the price to be fair.The worst part about H Mart is the chaos. The isles are small, and the carts are too big and are in need of maintenance. Every single cart moves with a shake and a rattle like there’s an earthquake. The store overall is pretty dirty and is not well kept. Some of the food and veggies are extremely fresh while others. I would not touch with an 8 foot pole.Overall, we will continue to shop here for sealed consumer goods and some occasional fresh food. I’ve gotten the sashimi a couple of times and have not been disappointed yet.

The assortment of foods and beverages to try are astounding but the atmosphere was lacking. The lighting was dim and some of the workers were rude in being short tempered when ordering food. The food from the food court area was very good but was a long wait even though there werent many people ordering. Starting in the fresh produce area, they have the largest produce selection I have ever seen! Due to my American squeamish nature, some of the stuff was nothing I had ever seen before.Next was the seafood area. Live, fresh, frozen huge selection of anything and everything seafood. Again my squeamish nature prevented me from looking very closely to some of the seafood and how it was being prepared for the customers.Next was the grocery section. Again anything and everything you can imagine. Most everything had Korean and English labels but a lot of things I had no idea what it was or what it was for. For example, the variety of soy sauces and other sauces was amazing.Plenty of baked foods, frozen foods, and drinks.Bottom line, it was everything Korean under a single roof. Highly recommended.

I really enjoy coming to this store. There is a lot of good products to choose from here, a lot of variety. They always have tons of fresh produce and seafood. Its one of the few places I can find purple yams. Their meat selection is awesome with thick to thin cuts of beef. They usually have fresh kimbap ready to go and eat. One of the best Korean markets for anyone who is looking for a variety of ingredients and products to satisfy their Korean desire. The place is much more pretty than other Korean markets and trust me, Ive been to a lot. American products are typically more expensive here, so I would recommend only buying the Korean products. If you are looking for variety, I also would recommend this place compared to others. There is also a food court so if you are hungry from thinking about what you could make from looking at the fresh ingredients, make sure to stop by and pick up a snack. Have fun shopping!

Purchased fresh chicken boneless thigh on Sep 22nd in the evening time, but this fresh meat smell stinky and disgusting when I opened it on Sep 23rd. It said sell by Sep 29th on the package; it doesnt make sense to have the stinky smell of the meat within a day to open it. I did bring my ice bag if I need to purchase any meat. This is not the first time that I purchased some spoiled and stinky fresh chicken meat in this hmart. It is unacceptable that hmart is selling spoiled meat to customers. I have been giving chances again and again since last year. Three time of marinated chicken wings ended up tasting sour after cooked, once time of marinated chicken wings that obviously smelled stinky before cooking, and this time the fresh boneless chicken thighs also smell stinky when I opened it. I had to throw everything into the trash. I am very disappointed and frustrated with those spoiled fresh chicken meat in hmart. Will not give any chances to purchase chicken meats again in here.

This supermarket is clean and conveniently located for local Diamond Bar residents. It is the closest Asian supermarket by my house. It has a bakery inside as well as a food court. I love the place that makes fresh kimbap rolls.The produce section has a wonderful variety of normal, plus Asian, plus specialized selection of fruits and veggies. There are organic options too and everything is usually very fresh and good quality. Like bittermelon, gooseberries, sprouts, shiso, crown daisies? Thats just to make a few. They have extensive Korean banchan deli items, marinated meats, and kimchee offerings, of course!I docked a star for several reasons1. Selection. They specialize in Korean grocery but does venture into other nationalities. But the selection is limited compared to other nearby grocers even other Korean supermarkets have more selection.2. Price. The price is higher at this location than others grocers in neighboring towns like City of Industry, Rowland Heights, Chino Hills, etc. Expect to pay 10-15% more for many of the items. When items are on sale here, they then become the normal price at other supermarkets.3. Size. The aisles are very narrow at this supermarket and difficult to navigate.I love this place and appreciate the convenience. But I usually have to stop by another supermarket to get everything I need.

This is the H Mart of my dreams, it has everything that Koreatown, DTLAs H Marts have, and more! More cookware and home goods all over the H Mart, more products, and even some items that I would normally go to 99 Ranch or a Japanese market for. All H Marts have the most beautiful and freshest produce of all Asian markets I go to. Pricing is good, availability of popular stuff might not be as good so you gotta shop early in your prep so that if theres something crazy specific you need, youll probably get it on a 2nd trip before you cook big.

Awesome place. Love all their merchandise and the places by the food court area. The dumpling place is my favorite! I wish the checkout people were nicer or smiled every blue moon. They are not helpful at all. Tried to buy some fresh Korean noodles that were supposed to be 3 for $10 instead of $5 each. Cashier scanned it in and i asked him to fix the mistake he just said no thats not the price and refused to double check with someone. This is my favorite Korean market in the area. They have a wide selection of fruits and veggies and their marinated meat is delicious. They have a large section of frozen and fresh fish. H Mart employees are so nice and willing to help find things. This particular store is extremely large considering it is a Super H Mart. This H Mart has a large grocery section, lots of options for snacks, oils, breads, and so much more. I go to this grocery store for Kimchi, Chili Oil, Snacks of all types and some Bread. I enjoy snacks such as Shrimp chips, Pocky, Marshmallows, etc. I like to try the different Pocky, typically not seen at other grocery stores. I would recommend making a visit to H Mart.

I had previously given this place a 4 star. I am changing it based on my experience with their awful customer service.I was in front of Hmart waiting for my husband to finish check out. At the time, my 4 year old boy was waiting with me. All of a sudden, I hear someone yelling excused me, excuse me! and the next thing I know I saw a bunch of shopping carts coming towards my 4 year old son. When the shopping carts were stopped, they were inches away from hitting my son.I was very upset and confronted the worker about using caution when pushing the carts, especially into the crowd. Not only was he not apologetic, he was blaming me for not moving. I asked to speak to his manager, he directed me to a lady at customer service who was NOT his manager. So, I asked to speak to the manager again. This time, I was told that the manager does not work on Sunday. The ladies at the customer service explained that the carts were heavy and that they only have 2 people. Thats why they were having a hard time stopping the carts. This is not my first time witnessing the workers running the carts fast into a crowd. If 2 workers were not enough to ensure safety, maybe the protocol should be having 3 people? After all, they almost ran over a 4 year old with the shopping carts.I would have been okay with an apology from the worker. It was his irresponsible, nonchalant attitude and lying to me about the manager that had made me want to write this review. Hmart sells quality food, maybe its time they work on training their employees.

I went in to the Hmart store in Diamond Bar on Saturday 9/17/16 at 8:00pm to purchase a few items. I paid for the items and I told the cashier that I had forgot to get some ice cream. I went to the ice cream freezer to get ice cream and the rent a copy Security guard (glasses and a mustache) accused me of taking the bag of paid merchandise into the store and yanked the bag away from me. I told him other people also had bags and why was he discriminating and harassing me. I asked for his name which he refused and then told him I wanted to speak with the Store Manager. They told me the Store Manager was not there and the rent a cop Security guard gave my bag to the Cashier and she looked at the items and told the Security that I had paid for it. I tried to take a picture of the Security guard from inside the store and he had me delete the picture. I tried to take a picture of him outside the store and he chased me all the way to Starbucks threatening to kill me. There were a lot of people including ladies with bags. Do you allow a Security guard to beat the customers up? I told the Security that there were no signs stating that I cannot have a bag of paid merchandise inside the store and he said he can make up the rules. I will contact the Better Business Bureau as well as Consumer Affairs.

Not just an H Mart but a super H Mart. Not all of the workers speak English but theyll try to understand and help with a smile. A nice little food court is situated at one of the market. There are also other small vendors like one selling cosmetics.

The wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables is surprisingly good, and there are great prices to be found. Come in for fruit, vegetables, meats grains. Avoid the dairy and eggs, as they are overpriced.

The selection of food and food brands is extensive but dont ask the staff where anything is half the time they either dont know or dont want to take the time to show you. I was told twice that they had no more of what I wanted but later while shopping I discovered they did have the items after all >.

Less crowded than the Buena Park store, though this store had the same issue - a few areas were not as well stocked as they normally are. Found the cheese dumplings that were not in stock at the other store.

I went here a month ago. I love Asian foods, drinks, candy, etc. This place is so huge, I could have spent hours in there!! Im going back soon to get mix and boba for Thai ice tea.
