I love station grill every time I come by! Their food is absolutely amazing, and the owners of this restaurant are just amazing people! They make you feel at home, and you can tell that the food was cooked with professionalism and time, not just half thrown together. I had the club sandwich on the menu and it was absolutely fantastic, and the French fries they serve with their food is perfectly seasoned! If you are visiting Grove Beach be sure to stop by here for great food and service!!

Any one star reviews are there only because the reviewer was a hater. 1 Im from grover city, Ive eaten all over California. I love real people. I love great businesses, places That treat you right as a customer but most of all as a friend. Places I can take my son. And also go by myself so I can party... Prices that are reachable for food that is delicious and portioned right. And I always eat at a restaurant twice before my personal review. I put this restraunt in the top 5 in the county of san luis obispo. Its hard to find great places like this. Try um out. And dont be a hater.. we dont need you in grover city if you are and google search Justin David Myers.. I almost forgot... thanks you

Im not sure how you can fubar a breakfast burrito, but Grover Station Grill is the place to do it. Called in order for pick up as their website is broken. Pic is of the burrito they served us with (the owner was on the grill). It was a carry out, we discovered the poor quality once on the beach to eat. The inside was cold, dry, and tasted of freezer burn. It quickly went to the trash and we went up to Orcutt Burger for the quality and value. Im astonished that they served food like this!

We chose this place because they allo pets in their patio. So its pet friendly! Unfortunately it was kind of cold when we went there. Anyway the food is great depending on what you order. The staff are very nice too!

Kids had burgers and fries perfectly cooked, Hubby had chicken fried steak, amazingly seasoned and a perfect crisp, and I had the club sandwich that was really good that I dipped in amazing ranch that I am picky about!!! Great friendly atmosphere with live music that took me back to the day. The service was great and friendly and my kids told me after that we totally have to go back!!!!

I went to a mini concert last week to see the Vintage Renegades play for 2 hours. The service was very good, the beer was cold and fresh tasting and the atmosphere was very positive and the energy and vibe was off the hook. I will go back again and enjoy the shows they put on. Delicious. A hidden gem. Relaxed, family friendly environment with delicious food, beer and wine - and a kids menu! There is often music as well! The owners are extremely kind and the food is OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!! Super soft fresh bread on the sandwiches - love that. Im a fan of the marble rye personally but everything is good. Also love the salads and homemade dressing. And definitely give the soup a try!! Also fun to watch the trains go by. They have outside seating as well which is pet friendly. You will not be disappointed with this restaurant!!

I went here for breakfast. Absolutely amazing. First, the trains if you like them youd love the ambience. This place contained some history and as the name suggests. I wouldve spent longer learning more if Id had more time. The food is amazing. It was fresh and delicious. I had the Sprouts Wrap wow! Stunningly fresh and delicious. I also had a cinnamon roll, warm and the right amount of sweet awesome. if you are around Pismo Beach or here for an ATV ride a must go place for breakfast.

Came here because of the amazing reviews and turns out they were not amazing.. walked by to nobody inside and turned back around. We decided to give a shot and should’ve listened to our gut lol. Food is bland and a waste of money. Very concerning that it was out in less than 2 minutes. Just go to an IHOP honestly. The staff was nice though.

Just had the most amazing breakfast burrito Ive ever ordered in the 5 cities . It was huge . Extremely fresh and tasty. Finally a restaurant that grills their burrito on the grill for that extra texture. Oh and they make their own hot sauce!!! PCH Picante. Not to be missed

The Grover Station Grill was amongst the many places to get brunch on a Monday morning in Pismo. We stopped there after seeing the delicious food they offered through pictures on Google maps. The country fried steak and eggs (the gravy was soooo good!) and the honey mustard chicken sandwich (with 🥓!) was delicious! All accompanied by a couple of Mimosas of course. All in all great place and amazing food. Oh! Did I mention the fries?! Hands down best fries Ive had in a long time! 😋

I’ve had their bacon cheeseburger. Reasonable price, burger perfect, tasty vegetables, crispy bacon. But most of all the fries were awesome - creamy inside, crunchy outside. The chef told me that they fry them twice, as it should be. Also very friendly service.

We had our anniversary late breakfast here and chose this place due to proximity to our camp ground and it being dog friendly. I was so pleased with the friendly service, nice patio area, and especially that they were able to accommodate my vegetarian diet (including egg whites and veggie omelet). Definitely a 4.5 star. Owner operated, local small business. Food is always prepared quickly, never greasy, and always delicous. Chicken fried steak and eggs is my go-to breakfast here. Good coffee available from a local roaster. And the couple that run this place are great. Did I mention that they are dog lovers and always give my dog a treat when we are there (outside patio is dog friendly!). One of my favorite breakfast spots in the area.

The good -Coffee. Is was really very food for a small diner. Fresh and something worth drinking a 2nd cup of.Although I have to ding them in this day and age for the half and half being in tiny cups. Flavors yes, but plain, as busy as it was could easily have been in a pourable.The bad -My friend ordered the California omelet on special with avocado (the salsa was added by her). And just. No.Either charge an extra dollar or 2 to make it look less sad or pick a different special. It was so tiny and the avocado slices were slivers.I had the oatmeal. It was good. It was $4 & came with raisins.Our whole breakfast was just over $21. For just over $23 I think they could have kicked it up a notch and got me to come back.Id probably meet someone for coffee and a muffin. Those looked good.

This place is awesome. Atmosphere customer service. But I came for my chicken wrap with Caesar dressing. They make there dressing. But it wasn’t the same they replaced romaine lettuce with iceberg. No croutons. So it wasn’t the same. And they grilled the tortilla. So the salad became warm..

Traveling to the coast to see some friends. Grover Station Grill was not my first choice, but our first choice was opening late due to an emergency. The server was very friendly and the food was ok. The cook was obviously having a bad day and was berating the server through the window when she was asking for the breakfast potatoes that he forgot for our order. They have very limited vegan options. I had the veggie wrap and it was pretty tasty but for $9 it doesnt come with the side and it was not a very big portion. My friend order the chicken fried steak and eggs and for $16 I feel like the portions were still a little bit small. It is definitely a really great location right on Grand avenue and there is patio seating. So if youre looking for someplace to hang out close to the beach, this is definitely a good spot.

Today is my third time coming here and Station Grill is the most accommodating establishment around. I’m a non meat eater and they personally ensure that all my food will not get cross contaminated and I can enjoy eating out like a normal person. The food tasted great, my youngest daughter got a cheeseburger which she loved. My grandson got a tuna salad sandwich which he also loved. My granddaughter got a hot dog. I got a Buffalo chicken sandwich, it was great. My oldest daughter got a chicken sandwich, she liked it. Fast service definitely recommend this place. Its next to The Oceana Dunes State Vehicular Recreation Area which is convenient, so you can go eat at the beach in your car.

This restaurant is not a bad place. I had a pastrami sandwich with some onion rings. The food was good for what it was but not the best. I do like the fact that it seems like a good place to go if you dont want to be around crowds. What I did noticed is that every customer was a regular. Regulars is a good thing but it seems like their customer base will be gone in 5years or less. So what is this restaurant doing to attract new customers? Maybe I am wrong because they are right next to the beach and an Amtrak station. But I feel this place can use some fresh customers before the old ones are gone.

They have the delicious Cafe Ranch dressing, never underestimate the importance of a good ranch dressing. I live in Oregon, but whenever I went to see my parents we had to go to Grover Station Grill. The last time was on June 30th, a family gathering for my moms memorial. I was walking to the beach with my daughter when I saw the sign for Chili Cheese Fries out front of the Station Grill. I was not sure if I should go in because Chili Cheese Fries can be a very risky menu choice. I peeked in the door and the clean cozy atmosphere encouraged me to give it a try. There were several other patrons enjoying themselves at their tables and I took this as a good sign, There was no line when I placed my take out order for one Chili Cheese Fries with two forks, and the service was fast and friendly.We took our fries to the beach for a snack.The bag was packed with two cutlery sets that included salt and pepper. There were also cups of onions and cheese on the side for us.When I opened the box I was delighted by an extremely generous portion of Chili Cheese Fries. The presentation was great and the aroma enticing. The fries were thick cut, fresh, and hot. They did not skimp on chili, which was yummy and, thankfully, not too spicy hot. This is truly an affordable diner whos menu consists of simple foods. The staff is friendly, and the diner is clean with ample seating. I had a 3 egg omelet and switched to fruit instead of toast; for an additional cost of .49 cents. A huge plus is their soda fountain consists of COKE products and they consistently produce a great taste. Hence, they keep the Co2 full, which keeps the flavors true.

If you want a great place where they have live music (Blues) on Saturday night this is the place. Its décor in train themed which is great for kids of all ages. How can you screw up breakfast. I ordered the special. The eggs cold. I added some onions to the scramble but it still had no texture. Soft scramble under cooked. I asked for bacon crisp as I always do. It was totally dry and over cooked, crumbled when I tried to eat. But the hash browns were the worst part. Shredded potatoes fried into a patty but they were mushy and tasted as if the potato was rotten. I returned to kitchen and he immediately handed me another potato plate just as bad. They had them pre-made sitting under heat lamps. The staff rushed us as if there was a huge crowd behind us... and we were the only ones in line. They offered so solution to our complaints. We sell tons of potatoes with no complaints. The coffee is good.
