I love Grocery Outlet. Close to where I live. I got off from work at 5:30 pm and dropped by the store to buy things i needed at home. A lot of good deals and very affordable prices.

This is one of our favorite places to shop, my only complaint is that they dont always have the same items like my favorite pumpkin seed snack from 180 snacks, and the Cosmos Creations popcorn, besides those two they sometimes have the best uncured turkey bacon from Godshalls.Regardless of those, they always have something healthy that we love to add to our diet.

Be wary and check prices. Not as good of a deal as they say. Multiple items priced higher (much higher) than other stores. Buyer be vigilant. Bargain market? Maybe not so much. The sweet clerk did try to price match, manager/owner declined.

Me, my wife, and our 2 kids were in the checkout line today. Our new born was crying and it was a little hectic. The owner Dave walked up to us and asked if we got everything we were looking for. As a random act of kindness he paid for our groceries. Thank you Dave, and all the other employees who are always so nice.

I love this place. Its cheaper then Safeway and Im excited to have a Harbor freight moving in next door. Always get good service here and the cashiers are pleasant to speak with. I dont shop at this placerville Grocery Outlet normally shop at the one in Jackson. But when I come into placerville I make it a point to stop here. Prices are great in this economy.

First let me start by saying the MOD David isnt fit to work with the public. The Grocey outlet in pville quickly became my favorite place to shop. Until David started behaving very odd. So for the last six months Id only use instacart. Great. No problems. But a few days ago I went back into the store. Like clock work i had several very uncomfortable interactions with David. Its to much to describe here. But by the time I checked out several cashiers were loudly questioning him about his wildly inappropriate behavior. Boo. I chaeck out all good. One of my items was 2 whiskey shooters in a bucket. All good. I get home and realize the seal on bucket was missing. I open it and 5 of the 20 were missing. I didnt think about it at the time but I grabbed the top bucket and checked out. It was so upsetting I stopped in to let him know. Id like to Tell the other Dave and higher ups about his insane disrespectful behavior today. Fire David he is high af. NOW I see who was drinking out of the top bucket

Prices have gone way up and they seldom have what Im there for. To many new employees all the time. Used to be an affordable store for lower income but taken over by rich people just like every thing else.( ie; mobile home parks, van life, etc.) 🤨

Every now and then they mislabel their products price and they dont always honor it. But today was the last straw...I told manager JUANITA that my chicken broth was $1 more on my receipt than priced on the shelf. She said shed walk with me to shelf and check. We got there and she clearly saw more than 40 boxes of chicken broth on 2 shelves (1 with a price showing 99c and the other not showing any tag at all. She took down 99c sign and her, along with 2nd manager SETH said Not honoring at all. They know that they need to have their stockers check the tags when they put new items on and they DONT...their excuse is people change them or take them...well its funny how theres no label on either shelf saying Chicken broth...and who in the H-E-🏒🏒 wants to keep a tag 🤬. Got my full purchase refund and NEVER RETURNING TO PLACERVILLE GROCERY OUTLET 👎🏾

We love this grocery outlet. Lots of delicious food to choose from. Nice health and beauty selection, lots of frozen food and staples for the pantry. Great seasonal aisle with cool things to choose from. Plenty of parking. Love the flowers, plants and garden supplies. Excellent, affordable prices.

Grocery Outlet is one of my go-to stores. Though they dont carry everything I need, they do provide a good selection & price fits my budget. Its a quick fix until Im ready to do my quarterly COSTCO RUN.I might add: Placerville Grocery Outlet doesnt offer Senior Discount Day, but the Grocery Outlet in Jackson does, its every Tuesday morning till 1230pm.

Find most other items needed, but availability is inconsistent (clearence/overstocked store) - but given discounted pricing, i dont see that as a problem - Shop there first.New owners are continuing to reorganize the store. I use to shop regularly at these stores but I dont anymore. Their prices have risen so high its hard to find good deals here anymore. $6.99 for a single jar of Alfredo sauce?? Their prices on bakery goods, which we know are pushing their expiration date, are as high, some even higher, than what I pay at Winco for fresher items. Sometimes they have an item that is substantially reduced but its also at the door of its expiration date. You need to really know your prices to get a good deal here anymore.

It a great place to get good quality Vitamins at a very cheap price, just read where they are made before purchasing any. If you find something you really like...buy extra, they may not have it again. Good choice of wine at lower prices. I dont buy meat there...just dont like the way it looks. There are bargains to be found, just read labels and look at expiration dates.

Best prices in town, our go to grocery store. Some items are half the price, compared to Safeway. Might not have as large selection as the large grocery chains, but the savings makes up for it. Also, if you see something you like, stock up on it as it might not be there next time.

I would give this review four stars but upon reflecting on other reviews feel the five are necessary to balance things out. After first experiencing grocery outlets in the bay area, I have come to learn this is not like the others. There are always great deals to be found here. It is also much cleaner and have never had a complaint about the employees.

Discount grocery store that often has great deals. Its well stocked enough that you can find 95% of whatever you need as long as youre willing to make basic substitutions. Always worth checking in every few weeks as their stock changes.

One of the best neighborhood stores in Placerville. Prices better than all the others as long as you dont mind not being able to count on the same products week in and week out. Youll find an ever changing line of various products. The staples like Milk, Eggs, Bread, Butter etc. are always the same and youll find them in the same spot. They carry everything one needs to feed a family on a budget or if your by yourself, youll appreciate the savings. Try them once for your weeks groceries then go to any of the other Big chain stores and see if you save as much as they claim. I did and was pleased to find their products a whole lot less expensive. The checkers are friendly and know their store as well as the stock people. The whole package, products, friendliness and best of all saving money keeps me coming back week after week.

I like the prices at Grocery Outlet and the staff Re mostly nice. However I think they could help in bagging the groceries instead of just standing there. Grocery outlet has the best deals on wines and cheese if you want to save a buck The only problem with these stores is that although you get a good discount from going to a normal store the things that you might like might not be there the next time you go to that store and thats the price you pay. Kind of addicted to this place only because you can find anything here. They have a huge alcohol selection, some fantastic frozen treats and a very pleasant staff. My only complaint is it is not well lit at night and I wont go there in the dark again. Its not in the greatest of areas but its always an adventure in shopping because you never know what you will find.

Store refuses to enforce mask usage and customer volume limits. Store management refused to address several people without masks in the packed store (impossible to maintain even 3 feet of distamce), saying that OSHA told them not to confront people. This store is hit and miss. Im not complaining. It is, after all, a discount store, so you couldnt expect everything to be top quality. The 3 star rating isnt about quality of goods. I find plenty of things to buy that I am completely satisfied with. It is about the service there, which is also hit and miss. More often than not, I feel pretty ignored here. Employees constantly avoid eye contact for fear that they may have to actually help someone.. The worst though is the checkout lines. 2 differeng times I have stood in line for 10 minutes or more to have a new check stand open, and instead of helping me, or anyone else that had been Waiting in line, they helped another employee first! And it wasnt an employee that was on the clock and needed to get back to work. That I could have at least understood. One of the times i said something about how rude that was to the checker and she scoffed at me... Just made a sound. No apology. Nothing. Then again, once in a while, there is a nice, helpful, smiling employee there that off sets the balance. I still shop there. I just dont expect much.

Bucket of masks uncovered for people to use but no one monitoring it. Inside people not wearing them or wearing around neck or with nose out....Not a good place to shop during covid... but what can you do if you cant afford other places. You cant beat the prices overall. Sure, for one or two items you may find it a couple cents cheaper but overall its the place to shop for groceries. Unfortunately its a hit and miss meaning they may have stock of an item today but they may be out tomorrow with no idea if and when they will have that item again. Knowing that we shop there ALL the time and have no regrets. Watch the expiration dates also. If you buy too many/much it may be expired by the time you eat it. I do wish the store was larger...other than the aforementioned we will be shopping there all the time. Great deals.

The produce has been very good, also! Visiting twice a week is minimum. Important to watch expiration dates and plan to use things quickly. The old gray skin head security dude creeps me out. I used to enjoy shopping there but after turning around and seeing him watching my wife and I shopping so many times.. not so much anymore! This dude is taking his job way too serious! Not everyone is out to RIP off the store. He needs to lighten up and try to be more friendly. I think a smile to customers would crack his face. I often wonder if he has a 44 mag in his waist band, ready to blow your head clean off over a pilfered bag of cheetos!
