With the increasing prices of groceries impacting our budget, weve explored other stores, and Grocery Outlet has become one of our favorites.The store is consistently clean and inviting, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Ive been pleasantly surprised by the abundance of affordable organic vegetables and fruits, with cauliflower, broccoli, and lettuces being among my favorites.For the budget-conscious, they offer the cheapest boneless, skinless chicken breasts around, usually priced at $1.99 per pound.Each visit brings at least one new surprise product. During my last trip, I discovered Comfy socks, from the same brand that makes the Comfy blanket hoodies. I couldnt resist picking up a couple of pairs for these chilly days.Additionally, Grocery Outlet boasts an impressive selection of snacks, including several gluten-free options.The shopping carts and baskets are consistently clean and readily available. Ample parking is available in a well-lit lot.I find myself in the store at least once a week, if not more. I love shopping here, and its a budget-friendly choice that my wallet appreciates too!

Rude staff. His name is Justin. I asked to use toilet and he nearly pushed me out of the back and said GET OUT!!!! HE COULDNT EVEN ANSWER ME IF THERE IS A TOILET CUSTOMER CAN USE. SLAMMED BEHIND ME. I am a big customer for GO. This is ONE I Ask people or seniors not to come here. This is 2nd time staff very rude when asking for toilet.

My husband and I love going into this Grocery Outlet. We always find great deals on various products. Justin and the other gentleman who works with him on Wednesday nights are both always so friendly and helpful. We always leave with a smile.

While not a particularly large grocery store they do pack quite a bit of groceries in the available space. Because they rotate their inventory frequently you had better grab all you like while available. We have found their groceries to be as fresh or more fresh and long lasting as anything offered by the big chains. They are constantly adding to their offerings.

I love to buy at this Costco in la Habra because employees are nice. Although I cant say the same about the employees who give samples specifically SUZIE zie and CHRISTINE. My family and I buy a good amount of items during the year. Those two employees that give samples are SO ANNOYING because they are targeting customers, and it makes you feel not welcome to get a sample if you dont buy it. Suzie said to me are you coming to buy a box or a get sample, as she game a mean look. Christine hides the samples or never has them out and ready for the customers and is slow on purpose, time and time again we see her do this over multiple visits, and its really frustrated for me to see someone working like that in Costco. Suzie in one point says this is a sample not a lunch while you only take one sample. Then CRISTINE is even mean with coworkers who want a sample. Also TREAT KIDS BAD and rudly screams at them, she needs to be polite and hopefully Costco will do something about this.

Great clean location with lots of variety.However, the lady working the front register Sunday July 30, 2023 at 9:43am was very rude. Perhaps she was just having a bad day, but if not, her attitude is not a good representation of this store. Other than our subjective experience of her poor attitude, she did not bag our items. She asked if we wanted a bag, my mom and I said yes, and the lady working the register put the bag next to the items she rang up and did not bag the items. She proceeded to the next customer after we paid and I took that as the sign we are supposed to bag our own items. I dont have a problem bagging my items but her attitude about it was off putting.

This grocery store is fantastic.I learned about it from being in Walmart, and heard a manager talking to another manager, telling him to go over to the “Grocery Outlet” and “Find out how bad they are under-cutting us”!I thought WOW if Walmart is spying on another store, there must be something to this! I checked it out one day while passing, and it was!The store was chocked FULL of fantastic bargains and deals.It is not as big, now, as a large chain-store grocery store - and you’ll probably end up going to your large grocery store also to pick up other things, BUT THE SAVINGS WILL WELL BE WORTH IT!Go to Grocery Outlet first, get items on your list, go about 1/2 mile in different directions and pick up the rest. One day, we saved over $100 doing this. It’s crazy! Fully recommend this store!!

Amazing bargains. You never know what youll find there. They have all the staples but they also have closeouts and discontinued at a fraction of the cost of the other grocery stores. This location does not appear to have fresh sandwiches for a quick lunch.

I love Grocery Outlet and this three-star is based on this location only. On here it says they close at 10:00 and as long as Ive been going there theyve closed at 10:00. I went there a few weeks ago and it was about 9:35 p.m. and the doors were locked. There was two Associates moving a pallet of water he said they were closed. Please update your hours on here or slap that boy in the face trying to go home early that night LOL super unprofessional either way. I truly hope that they did change their hours because if those Associates think theyre smart doing that so that they can go home early or get to where they need to go without having to deal with any last minute customer whos there almost 30 minutes before the store closes theyve got a long life of living paycheck to paycheck ahead of them LOL. Entitled mamas boy activities going on right there if the hours havent changed. If they have changed I will gladly edit this review.

Went in there today for some quick drinks. Check out lady was yelling across the store, being obnoxious, sounding crazy and was either drunk or high. It was insane.Store is just dirty and looks like an old dollar store. It is nothing like the other stores. Chino Hills store is so nice, clean and well managed. So is Fullerton. This one is awful. Definitely not returning.

Not really a “go to” place for groceries. Prices are on par with Aldi, Amazon Fresh and Smart and Final, but with the odd staple item not available. Went in with coleslaw and sliced cheese on my list; left with coleslaw and sliced cheese still on my list.

This little treasure has a little of everything. Not everything is carried at all times as shelf space is valuable here, and likely name brands are sold out when found by customers. Nice assortment of meats, deli, cheeses, milks, and even produce. Fairly packed freezer section with nice assortment of fish and shrimp and frozen foods. Most items in store seem to be off brand as far as canned and bottled food items - but tasty nonetheless. Very good chance that if youve forgotten something on a your shopping list, it can be found here. I recently needed a jar of tartar sauce but didnt find any on that visit as the section on condiments seemed particularly sparse on allotment.

The size of the building limits the variety to choose from. Yet, they offer some items I dont find in other stores. It is quick and easy to stop and grab a couple of items I might need for dinner. They are very helpful and super friendly. Prices are the same or lower.

I think I run in at least once a week. They have these smaller portions of salmon for a great price! Makes a great lunch or salmon tacos for dinner. Great place to buy wine wont break the bank and great selection... experimenting is fun!!

I love this place! You can find so many good bargains! They do have a downside, though. Some regular prices are actually higher than at Vons even. So much so that their bargain price isnt a bargain at ALL. Its pretty disappointing to see they try to deceive us.Update: theyve changed owners and prices seem even higher now. They no longer have the bargain bread bin, and the store seems way empty. I hope they improve because this isnt the store I feel in love with.

Really inexpensive. Lots of unusual items that are tasty or come in handy. Wine is 20 percent off on Wednesdays. The service is friendly and very willing to help. I got a bag of small avocados for only $3.99 and so very rich and smooth tasting. Coffee is good quality and is cheaper than any other store.

Its a hit or miss. You basically go to see what you find. Overall you can find some organic products at a lower rate. I wish their meat department was of better quality but with their low prices it is understandable. I generally recommend for when you gotta stick to a budget. I came in today to pick up groceries with my mother. I’m disabled (blind/ low vision)I went down an aisle and picked up a dog sweater I wanted to take a closer look at.The man stocking the aisle tells me “Excise me ma’am I am working here.” Really rude in his tone.I understand that they may have quotas of things needing done but to basically be told I could not look at something while he was “working?” Maybe block the aisle if it’s thatcserious. Or tell us to not come down the aisle right now, something but be nice about it.I was really taken aback by this man’s behavior. I told my mom we would go to another store. I won’t come back here.The money I would have spent peobablycdoesnr mean much to them but it is not ok to treat a customer like this.I don’t believe in “The customer is always right.” But, o do believe in courtesy.I’ve informed may family and friends that I won’t return to this store.

Located in a nice location near other stores and restaurants. Has a decent selection. Not as good as other Grocery Outlets but not bad.Staff are very rude, do not help if you ask for assistance, always act like its an imposition to help ppl out, etc.Most of the time the place is clean but not always. They will have a price under an item and when u get to the register they say We are sorry but that was for another item. They put your item in the wrong spot. Most places will honor it bc its their mistake but not this place.Theres another one not far down the road I recommend you go there instead.

Im new in town and this grocery store was a convenient stop on my way home and I was impressed with how much I felt I saved but also the quality of the store. When you want groceries on the cheap but still has quality, this is it. Its a little like you find new things, and you can try them without breaking the bank. Only thing is that there is about 70% of the products are until supplies last. So you like that sauce you bought that one time from them, ya its not there anymore. You have to look online or other supermarkets. Of course now you pay full pop, when this place had it Super inexpensive. Still, I like the experience of being adventurous with food. Try new things. This place helps you do that without hurting your wallet.

Prices are great, but selection changes rapidly.Its a true outlet store. Oftentimes that outrageous cheap and tasty frozen dinner that you loved will be gone next visit.Almost everything is a bargain. We paid a fraction of what the supermarket would have charged for last minute Halloween candy resupply.Good for cheese, snacks, beer and wine too.

You never know what youll find! If you dig, you can find lots of cheap all-natural gluten-free items! The fact that theres no set stock of anything makes it an adventure every time you go! Just be sure to always check the expiration dates, because occasionally, they try to sell expired goods. The staff are all very kind and helpful! Theres an old man with a long grey beard who will give you recommendations about all the best stuff they recently got in!

I stopped by today before I needed to buy a couple of things I love the new store grocery outlet the gentleman that helped me today was very helpful when I went in the first time they offered online if you signed up for the first time you received a $3 off coupon on your next purchase while I was having a hard time looking for it and he was patient with me great customer service I told him that I prefer coming here my store I used to shop at was Aldi but this is a store that I will be shopping in the future I will pass the word to my family and friends thank you for a great job store was nice and clean I found when I was looking for great prices

Most of the time iv been annoyed with their pricing. I started noticing different prices on my bill when I got home. So the next time I played attention at the checkout and called out the wrong prices. The manager was called. She checked and said that was not the price, it was discription, price for something else. BUT THE SHELF WAS FULLY STOCKED WITH THE ITEMS I PICKED UP. Needless to say she argued with me and did not give them to me. To fill a shelf with ITEMS of a higher price and not replace the ticket with the correct price because the stock is constantly changing seems like a bait switch. Oh and never mind the stuff on the bottom shelf, you need knee pads and magnifying glass to get down and read the small blurry description. I called corporate, only recording no one ever called me back!!! Fyi the mng was African American dont remember her name. 😖

Good news! Its in a very convenient area and the store itself is organized well and maintained. Their toiletries, wine, and some of the dry goods are decently priced.Bad news... The variety of items available pale in comparison to the average grocer (well, it IS an outlet, but still). Also, the deals in place arent mind-blowing, nor are the deals that ARE deals that great. Staple products like milk and bread were on the poor side of comparable, especially if those items at Ralphs or Vons is on sale (which often times they are).Honestly: Its essentially a more grocery-centric Big Lots! The selection of food is also mostly limited to seasonal items that didnt sell at other grocers, which could be good or bad depending on ones mood. Also, the store is REALLY small; I mean, you can get your shopping done pretty quickly... but then again, there isnt much to browse through.

Selection is a Mish Mash of whatever their buyers can get cheap. OFTEN expired items past their dates are sold. ALWAYS check for a date on EVERYTHING you buy here. Prices are pretty good. Buy your hair bushes here. Do NOT buy your cellphone charging cables here

Love the deals here! Might have to pick through produce, but lets face it for the price you can buy twice as much if not more for the price at a regular grocery store. This place is awesome. Its a little bit ghetto but totally worth the savings. You can get some pretty good deals on things here. but it can be a little frustrating because they dont carry things they cant get deals on so they might carry something like sour cream one week and not after that or not have items in stock all the time. Things like milk they always have in stock and the frozen section has some pretty cold frozen foods for good prices compared to Safeway. I love that its right next to the 51B line because that makes it super convenient to get to(51B comes every 12mins but make sure you check the nextbus arrivals for the stop at Sixth in case the bus is coming from Marina and not amtrak). The bathroom is kind of ghetto only because its locked all the time and a security Guard has to let you in. Im not sure why they need a security Guard West Berkeley really isnt as ghetto as they pretend it is. Dont bother calling them last time i did that the person didnt really speak english. Totally recommend this place! I stopped going to target after i discovered Grocery outlet and mainly shop at Safeway(Only things that are on sale and not a rip off which is difficult at Safeway) And here.

My husband went to the store for me and thought he would find quality produce at a discount price and what he brought home was the bottom of the barrel, half rotted cauliflower and wilted kale among other things I refused to touch!If you are supposed to sell fresh food then go back to the farm you picked it from.We, including my neighbors next door, will never set foot in your store again. For the people that whine and complain. Go to costco? This store isnt meant to compete with costco it is the grocery equivilent of Big Lots. That is why some stuff is expiring sooner but also why some things are half the price as at other chains. They have good products that are deli, frozen, and dry goods. Produce isnt where you get the really good discounts but it isnt worse price wise than Albertsons. Im glad they are here and the staff is nice.

Horrible employees. I called to see if they had a product in stock and was transferred from person to person. One person said they do have it and when I asked which products she audibly sighs over the phone. Isnt it easier for her to go look, in the store shes currently standing in, than for me to drive30 miles? No wonder retail stores are going out of business

My favorite grocery store chain. This one feels a little smaller than the Oakland one and they have a little different selection. You cant go wrong coming here but you might need to stop at another store to fill in the items they didnt have.
