We have bought two homes with Gregg and his team. If you want service, look no further! Before we even began working with Gregg, he promptly returned all phone calls and emails. He took the time to speak with us at length about the housing market in San Diego and what to expect when looking for a home in the area. We live out of state, and he was instrumental in advocating for us when we put in an offer. He has also been a great resource for us when we reached out after our purchase requesting recommendations for contractors and other service providers. I’ve had 3 opportunities to work with Gregg Phillipson. The 1st time Gregg was referred to me by my living trust broker because I needed help with an unusual family request for the sale of my home. Gregg immediately looked at the purchase offer and quickly pointed out all the red flags associated with it. He saved me from getting into a horrible, prolonged legal mess. Gregg then was able to sell my home in 3 days, at the asking price, and without me needing to make needed repairs. Gregg then helped me a 2nd time with the purchase of my next home, getting my bid accepted over several others. My 3rd time working with Gregg was the sale of my parents home after both my parents had passed away and I was executor of their living trust. A significant problem developed with the house, making it need an expensive repair before putting it up for sale. Gregg found an alternate buyer for the house, someone wanting to buy it and willing to buy it without making any repairs on the house. It was a miracle that happened in December, so I call it the best Christmas gift I’ve ever received. So, I can say with 100% honesty and sincerity that Gregg Phillipson is an outstanding real estate agent and broker, and a really hardworking, conscientious, well rounded person. And just the nicest, friendliest guy to work with. Since these 3 transactions with Gregg, I’ve stayed in touch with him because he’s always been willing to help me with a referral for a repair person when I’ve needed a repair or renovation job around my house. Is Gregg Phillipson a great realtor? Yep, this one is loaded! My 91 year old wise Dad always told me to interview 3 realtors. Didnt think we would select Gregg because he does so MUCH business, my preconceptions thought he would be aloof, not involved, too busy to respond, lazy, all marketing blitz, no show. One cant ignore all his signs in the neighborhood so I gave him a call. Wow, Gregg blew us away as he addressed all our concerns and we signed him on the spot!We had a nice property but very challenging conditions for showings, and difficult to price since the home wasnt in a cookie cutter division. Gregg and his competent team (including a spectacular photographer) solved all the issues so the process would work with us. The real estate market shifted too, making it even more challenging. Greggs experience and knowledge and network guided us throughout. Id say his best feature is his gut feeling.This wasnt our first rodeo but the challenges made us rely totally on Greggs expertise. He was literally the best coach for our football team! Very satisfied with the entire process and result. Gregg is really fun and easy to work with too, super communicative. Only regret is we moved out of state so we wont be able to use him again!

They got our home on the market in less than 7 days, negotiated an offer on our home $50K above asking and was able to close in time for us to purchase the new one. They fought tooth and nail with the seller, a developer/flipper, to make sure they did everything they promised. They were there every step of the way with patience, perseverance and kindness.
