I have always loved green grub, they have recently updated and simplified their menus. Everything is delicious ! I love their açaí bowls specially the buttercup! They used to only have 1 size they have recently updated to small medium and large and I love it since I was never able to finish it before now I can just get a smallOr medium. The girl in the front was very friendly.They have updated their hours they now open at 7am for açaí bowls and smoothies and I’m so happy about that. I no longer have el wait for 10am to get my açaí bowl.

I’m not a vegan or vegetarian, but this portobello sandwich and salad are incredible. The staff is very friendly, the portions are substantial and the price, with a can of soda, was about $18.

First experience was great! I believe there are 2 different areas, one for shakes and the other is food. A full house when I went there for lunch but my meal came in less than 15 min! Nice hefty wrap, worth 10$ !!

Ill start with the good-Food was absolutely delicious and fresh. We ordered the Chicken Club sandwich, chicken tortilla soup, salads, and a kids grilled cheese with fruit. Place was clean, but smaller than last location. My only complaint was that the person who takes orders in front didnt seem very friendly, and looked overwhelmed. Overall we really enjoyed our meals. We are from out of town, but will be stopping by in the future when in the area.

I came here for lunch and ordered a vegan sandwich and soup and took it to the park nearby. It was yummy and healthy tasting. A good price for what you get, the sandwich tasted delicious dipped in the tomato bisque soup.

All food seemed fresh. Loved my side salad that came with the sandwich. I asked if they can do lettuce wrap, they said yes. But when my order arrived 15+min later, it came as a wrap, not lettuce wrap. Staff that helped us seem friendly. While waiting, seems a little disorganized. And some staff was talking to other customers a little rude. Our food was ready for a while and other customers kept being helped before us. People who even offered after us was getting their food even though ours was out on the counter first.During these covid times, Ive very picky on whom Im going to dine/ pick up food from. I was really disappointed that NO STAFF IS WEARING FACE MASKS and there was no sign it was required to enter, therefore customers also were not wearing masks. And ppl were dining inside. Food was good, but for that reason Im going to hold off on coming back.

My first experience was so so. The black bean burger was served on sliced white bread.? And it was small for the price, a very petite burger patty. Tasted fine and their Chipotle aioli is outstanding. Caesar salad was good, but completely covered in croutons so you may want to keep that in mind if you dont want an actual cup full of croutons on top of your salad. :-)

Should be a little bit more organized after taking your order. They didnt even know I had already ordered and paid, yet served 3 people I was ahead of. A 5 to 10 min wait time turned into a 35 min wait for one bowl. I like there drinks and bowls otherwise.

The wrap and smoothie I got were delicious! I finished a green drink and a detox water and man let me tell you, I was detoxed! Will definitely be going back. I had it delivered so I cannot contest to the customer service, but the food was very fresh and plentiful on the vegetables!

I used to absolutely love this place, and I know the intention is good, but I wont be going back anymore. The service has been consistently poor, and orders have been messed up three times in a row now. Meals were brought out 20 minutes later than the rest of the table, the servers seem too rushed to take time and listen to the customers, and they dont seem to check back in to ask how things are; I consider these things standard in a restaurant. The owner did mention that they cater a lot, so maybe that is where the priority is. The salads are consistently amazing, though.I am really disappointed, since I want to support local businesses, but they need to get back in touch with their old restaurant etiquette and better service, or least make it clear if that is not the business priority.

This isn’t the first time I’ve been a bit disappointed with Green Grub. I enjoy the idea of a healthy alternative and fresh food but their organization at the restaurant lacks lightly and my açaí bowl this time seemed really lazy. The portion of the amount of honey was too much compared to other times, barely a scoop of granola ( when I had asked extra ), and I had to wait 30 minutes because the other lady didn’t bother to check on her orders. Once I got my bowl she didn’t even bother to apologize. Jamba Juice is much faster and more nicer than this. Also, the employees weren’t even wearing masks! I won’t be paying 10+ dollars for an experience like this again.

I really love this place. Ive come here for years. I bring friends and family but I wont come again. I believe the young woman at the counter was unprofessional and rude. I ordered food for my children and a green smoothie and coffee for myself. My aunt and Grandmother came after me. I even prepaid a tip, which I will never do again. Great life lesson learned. well, the young lady charged me for my green drink. I had the receipt. 15- 20 min after my children got their food I finally politely asked for my smoothie. my aunt that ordered after me had already gotten hers well before that time. She accused me of not having paid for it. i remembered what I paid and she continued to tell me I did not pay that. I found my receipt to show her. I believe the young lady had a terrible attitude about the whole ordeal. I felt humiliated. A mistake on the customer service end should not be handled like that. The employee clearly was not fully paying attention to my order, however she was paying enough attention to *charge* me for the smoothie. I absolutely felt like they were treating me like lowlife demanding food I hadnt paid for. The lady I think was the owner or manager finally came to figure it out, but I will not come back if the employees are unprofessional like this. I have no issue with problems with orders if the staff is professional and willing to make the mistake right without being rude or snarky, but Ive literally never been accused of asking for something I didnt order.

The service at this place is horrible. My niece and I went to eat there and ordered separately. We both ordered a chocolate smoothie. I got my but she waited about 20 minutes before asking for status on her smoothie. The employee asked for her receipt. I told her we had ordered two chocolate smoothies but only received one. My niece started looking in her purse for the receipt. The employee told her not worry that they would make her smoothie. However, instead of making the smoothie the manager went on the computer to look for the order. She then proceeded to show us my receipt which showed one smoothie. I looked at her and said my niece ordered one too and paid for it separately. At which time the manager said oh you are the one that left a $5.00. She never apologized for not bring her smoothie sooner nor for accusing us of trying to steal a smoothie. We definitely will never return and will let everyone know how horrible the service is. They deserve zero stars.

The food is fresh and healthy, but give yourself plenty of time. The service is really really slow. To be fair, the one young man at the register(on the restaurant side) was very kind and apologetic for the rest of the staff. He was very sweet. The rest of the staff, however, wow! Wow, in a bad way. First of all, The man taking my order seemed thoroughly annoyed that I was asking questions about the menu. Then, I asked if they could make me a wrap for my daughter with just ham and mayo. Pretty simple. When the food came 20 minutes later (3 sandwiches), they had given my daughter a turkey and cheese wrap and our drinks werent ready. (This was a to go order). I asked if we could please have the sandwich that we ordered, and the young man was very nice about taking it back to the kitchen. Then the lady in the kitchen came out to have word with me and told me that a ham wrap wasnt on the menu and was very irritable. Well, if they couldnt make it for me, then maybe they could have told me that when I ordered it. I explained that I didnt think it was too much to ask for some ham and mayo on a wrap and I didnt understand why she was so upset. Anyways, a few minutes later, another woman brought the new wrap out to me. It was a bunch of chopped up ham in a wrap and some mayo packets on the side. Because I was traveling, I had to open up the wrap myself and spread the mayo on myself, which in and of itself is really not a big deal, but was obviously some passive aggressive move on the chefs part. (Like, whats so hard about spreading some mayo and a couple of slices of ham in a wrap?I would have been better off going to the supermarket and making it myself in the back of my car!) After all this, my smoothie still wasnt ready and the rude kid tells me its gonna be another 10 minutes. How is it taking 30minutes to make a smoothie? So, I canceled the smoothie and the nice kid gave my money back very nicely. Its just a shame. We get good service next door at Carls Jr, but its unhealthy toxic food. Id like to be able to get some healthy food while on my long drive but minus the attitude! To the owners, maybe review your systems of communication with the kitchen and give some customer service training to your staff (except the one guy, he was great, I wish I caught his name). Good luck! Ill be back on my next road trip to see if there have been any improvements, because the sandwich really was tasty!

The three star comes from the juice, quality of food, and environment. It wouldve been 5 if I had someone acknowledge me within 10 minutes that I was in! No one took my order and I wasnt even given a menu. So I did no like the service. But food and juice is nice and worth the shot.

The food is always good. But the service always sucks. And you have to wait forever for anything. I once waited for a smoothie for 35 minutes. If you order for pick up they will say 15 minutes but wait 30 minutes then drive over and if youre lucky it will be ready when yoy get there. The guy at the front always seems really unhappy and like he hates his job and you can tell how he talks to his co workers. Ive also heard inappropriate conversations between the workers there over the sound of the blenders going. So if you want good food and have nothing to do and can take your time then go here.

Took one hour to get an order of the yogurt bowl and a sandwich. When I went up to ask why my order was taking so long, this is after at least five other people had their orders fulfilled, she sheepishly goes of to the back and after another ten minutes brings out my sandwich. No apologies whatsoever even though I had to drive back because she forgot to give me my chips! At least my pesto sandwich was good. But the service was oh so bad. Whether this type of service was normal or not I dont know because I havent returned nor will I ever return ever again.

Some of the best healthy food I have ever eaten sadly coupled with the WORST example of customer service I have ever seen. In example this morning We called at 9 to order food and was told maybe try again at 10. So we called back at 10 and ordered . When we got there the rude lady said they wouldnt start making food until 11. The people working there would be looking for work tomorrow if I had a say. The food was great![There was a hiccup at the beginning of not being greeted or acknowledged while I waited to order (a little before 11 am) but after deciding to stick around and being helped, it was much better! Plus, as I enjoyed my meal, I saw servers coming in to work, with tables after me greeted promptly... So the experience at the beginning of my visit may or may not be common occurrence.] Ill definitely return to dine-in again. Thank you!

Since Ive been waiting here for 15 minutes without asking what I would like to drink I figured I would have time to write this review. GREAT food and only place in Turlock that has healthy food which is the ONLY reason I come back. I have been here plenty of times. Service is the worst thing I have ever experienced. Every employee either moves like a snail, unhappy to be here or never asks you how they can help you. If I came here for the first time I wouldnt know what to do with myself. Sit down? Stand up? Wait for someone to approach me? Good thing I know the drill. Expect a long wait if your here to dine in even if no one else is here.

Food is healthy and tasty. Health smoothies are not bad also.The problem is the service. Ive asked countless people if they experienced the same and the all had the same complaint. The people there are not approachable and clueless about hosting. Ive been meaning to post this for a while. I really hope they can get help with their customer service. The food is great, but the service is horrible. The people are all nice enough when they finally get to you, but who knows when that will be. We waited for about 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, another 10 before our drinks were brought out (iced tea and water), and 15 minutes after we were done for the check. The food is amazing, but dont come here if you are in a hurry.

Not what it once was. Very disappointed we didn’t get those few bites of frozen yogurt at the end. 🙁 Customer service was very slow. Main dishes were were just okay and the pickle slice was dry. Good food. My favorite sandwich is the turkey with kalamata olives & feta. Great housemade soups. Awesome selection of smoothies & juices. My favorite is the Health Nut. Theres reward cards for the the drinks. 😁 You place your order at the counter now & they bring your food out to you so service is a lot faster now.

Confusing restaurant layout, you order at the counter but no one takes a number, so the servers are confused about whose order is whose. more importantly, no food should take an hour to arrive, and when it does, come not as ordered. water took 30 mins to come and silverware was only provided when asked. the taste of the food does not make up for its ineffiency in the slightest.

The manager actually came out from the back and directly handed smoothies and bags of food to masked customers instead of placing them on the counter. Due to this complete disregard for the safety of their customers, theyve permanently lost my business.

If it were just for the food Id give this place 5 stars! Everything Ive ever had here is seriously delicious. My husband and I are just so excited that theres a place like this around here and so we come back all the time despite the lack of professionalism from the employees. Weve witnessed them arguing with each other, huffing and puffing around, and a few other things. But honestly, it doesnt matter as much as the food does! We just kind of laugh the bad stuff off at this point.

Customer service is terrible. Placed an order for delivery and a sandwich was missing. Called and talked to an employee that put me on with the supervisor Shannon. She was very rude and insinuated that I was lying about the missing sandwich saying she remembers packing my bag with one sandwich and one salad, even though I ordered two salads and one sandwich, and ended up receiving only the two salads. She told me they were slammed and would not drive back to replace the sandwich and my coworker was left with no lunch. She said she would remove it from my bill, but she was incredibly rude. We will not be purchasing from them again. Multiple people at our company have had similar experiences.

Food here is okay. If youre looking for a vegan place, this is a nice little outlet with some options. Unfortunately the staff are sub-par. The kitchen side of the house is fine, but the juice-bar side is extremely rude. We get it, youre in college and need to work for your education, as some of us have. A mixed bag. I visited 5 times over three weeks. The staff is friendly and healthy-looking, the smoothies and soups are delicious. The regular food including the salads(!) are very salty; the service is erratic, inattentive, and way too slow for a short lunch break; you occasionally get pop music and radio commercials BLASTED at you as the staff fights over the volume.

Stick with the salads. They put too much meat on the sandwiches. Apple Chicken Arugula with Honey Balsamic is the best salad Ive tried there. They also have some pretty great high quality smoothies. In both texture and flavor, they taste different from Jamba Juice.

Was traveling through for business and felt like having an acai bowl. The place was almost empty at around 9am and parking is plentiful. Got a glow bowl for $9, it was a bit overpriced for what you get in my opinion. Lots of acai, maybe too much, half a banana, two strawberries and and maybe a quarter cup of granola served in a clear plastic to go container you might put an oversized muffin in. It was tasty but acai overwhelmed once fruit and granola was gone. Staff was fine, nothing special either way.

I am working in the Turlock area for the next couple of months, and I was craving something healthy! I try to eat vegetarian for most of my meals, so I got the lunch special salad and soup combo. The salad was so colorful with all of the veggies on it! And then I got the lemon tortellini soup, and it was absolutely delicious. It had quinoa in it and was super flavorful. The soup looked a little small at first, but it wound up being the perfect amount of food. Service was excellent. Healthy restaurants can often seem a bit...cold and uninviting to me, but the atmosphere here was really warm, and everybody was so friendly.

The food is really good but whoever is making it needs to study the menu. My oatmeal which is advertised as coming with toasted almonds and raisens and chia came PLAIN with only brown sugar. The Seaside Bowl which is supposed to include pineapple and coconut had none. Ingredients you are paying a premium price for are LEFT OUT! NOT COOL! I also agree with the other reviews the employees are somewhat snobby and have that I am better than you attitude. I may go back but I doubt it.

Restaurant was closed when we arrived at 1140. They opened shortly after. We placed our order and then waited about 30 min before we decided to get it to go. I was on an hour lunch break. I had to rush back to work and eat my lunch at my desk. While the sandwich is very good, it certainly wasnt worth waiting for almost an hour. I wont be going back.

They have a variety of food but the wait can get a little long so its best to call if you need to just pick up your food. The prices are higher than most places but so far its been worth it. They are closed at 4:00 every day. It said open until 7:00 on thier window, so I showed up at 4:30 only to be turned away. I dont understand why a food service establishment would close an hour before most people are off work. They have lost business for years.

Try it, you wont regret it. Frozen yogurt is to die for. Smoothies/Juices are fantastic. Wish it was closer to the university!

I usually like this place but today I went in and the person taking our order was wearing a trump 2020 hat. It makes no sense to me why local business need to advertise their national politics. Unfortunately this will be the last time I go to green grub.
