We planned a wedding near the beach with Great Officiants from out of state. They were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. They always answered our questions immediately and helped plan every little detail. The gazebo was decorated beautifully and reflected all of our requests. We wanted a micro wedding with only our closest family attending and it was exactly what we hoped for. Our officiant, Michael was wonderful! He handled everything. The ceremony was beautiful and highly professionally done. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Thank you so much!

We loved our wedding! We had our cute Valentines Day ceremony and they made us feel so special. Super easy to coordinate and staff is so helpful and friendly! Alan is hilarious and awesome. My favorite part of the terrace is the bamboo arch. If youre looking for a quick, simple and smooth experience I recommend 1000 times!

I am very happy we decided to use Fredrick James from Great Officiants to officiate our wedding at The Vintage Rose in Orange.He was very kind and genuinely interested in getting to know us, which made our ceremony very personal and tailored to us and our story. We are so happy we booked Maricela for our May 2024 wedding! The whole process of finding and hiring Maricela to officiate our wedding was easy and pleasant, thanks to Great Officiants. The entire team is very communicative and was quick to answer any questions I had while booking.We asked Maricela to do a simple non-religious ceremony with Spanish highlights, which was perfect for us as a couple and our families. The package included two quick meetings leading up to the big day, which helped settle our nerves. Overall, Maricela has a very calming presence and was all-around wonderful. My partner and I highly recommend Great Officiants if you dont have a particular family friend/pastor/etc in mind for your wedding ceremony. Theyre great!

I worked with Great Officiants professionally as a Director of Catering for 10 years. Alan and his officiants were such a great asset to my couples and always amazing to work with on wedding days. Working with him on my sons wedding day was completely different however. Being on the emotional side of a wedding versus the business side is a whole new ballpark and Alan made it so easy for myself, my son and my daughter in law.My son is in the military, we only had 2 weeks to pull off his wedding. Alan not only took the stress off of the couple by taking care of the marriage certificate but arrived early on the wedding day to meet with them and make sure he gave them the ceremony THEY wanted (because of logistics he was not able to meet with them ahead of time) put them at ease and made it really fun for them. Coincidentally the brides Aunt and Uncle that attended the wedding were married by Alan as well and remembered him =)Alan I cant thank you enough for taking such amazing care of Jake and Maddie and making there ceremony so special and such a reflection of who they are. As I said before professionally you were always top notch but working with you personally you took amazing to a whole nother level!!

Great Officiants makes the process super easy and fun, I highly recommend them! When my husband and I decided on our venue at Mt Woodson Castle, we werent sure who to choose. But from our first interview call, we absolutely adored our officiant Jim Patton and his humor and we knew: he was definitely the right guy! He went through our ceremony with a clear voice, a witty and humorous script, and a kindness and care that was felt by not only my husband and I, but also all our guests! I couldnt be happier with The Cute Little Wedding Chapel in Long Beach! We loved our minister, Alex. She was so amazing, including the guests during the service and was all around a sweet person. We requested our ceremony be held outside and we honestly were so happy with it! It was the perfect weather, time of day, and it was so much easier to fit all of our guests! She made the whole experience so memorable, all of our guests couldnt stop talking about what an amazing job she did. She also decorated our arch ways for us and it matched the theme of my wedding bouquet which was amazing since I didnt even send her any inspo pics. She truly has an eye for decorating as well as making everything feel so great. The service was fast and magical and if we could get married all over again, wed do it there!

Amazing, easy and professional! Met with Alan over the phone to discuss what sort of ceremony I envisioned. I interviewed two who Alan suggested would be a good fit for what kind of ceremony I wanted. And I ultimately settled on Reverend Clint Huff who I absolutely LOVED! Rev Huff walked me through the whole process over the phone before I even decided to use him. He made me feel comfortable and happy about the whole process (since I had NO idea what to expect).

Alan officiated our beach elopement and it was nothing less than perfect! We asked for a suggestion for location and Alan suggested the most perfect spot and we lucked out with a beautiful day! Alan made the ceremony short and sweet like we asked but he added his own twist and made it so much fun and so funny he had us all laughing. Father Geoff was our priest for the Catholic ceremony of our fusion wedding. Considering we had two different ceremonies back to back (Catholic and Hindu) he went out of his way to talk to the Hindu pundit to ensure both ceremonies aligned with our vision cohesively. Our guests spoke highly of him, and my parents were so surprised he went to talk to them and congratulate them and give his blessing. He was well spoken and were so pleased with the way he articulated his words to align exactly with the values that we believe in. We definitely would recommend - really punctual and detail-oriented.

We are absolutely thrilled that we went with Great Officiants for their services, and we were so fortunate to have A. Mauricio Lubong presiding over our ceremony. It was easy to work with them throughout this process, and we were appreciative of the chance to talk with a few in their lineup beforehand. It was hard to pick just one among them, but ultimately, we felt such warmth with Mauricio, who then took it a step further to really get to know us and our story. After providing him with responses to his thoughtful questions as “homework,” we were truly gifted with a touching and personable service by Mauricio. Our friends and family still comment on how well he spoke to our love for each other and asked if we had known him personally beforehand. It was also a bonus that Mauricio is a notary who could issue our marriage license, so we felt taken care of with that logistical but very important aspect as well. Suvin Mehta was our officiant and he did a stellar job with our ceremony. We did a modern Hindu and western fusion style wedding and were able to make it custom with Suvin’s help. He was very insightful and helpful throughout the whole process. Despite not meeting Suvin in person prior to our ceremony (flew him in to Halifax Canada from Dallas), our wedding could have not been more perfect. It was exactly what we wanted and we are so incredibly grateful to him for making our ceremony so special and memorable. 10/10 would recommend!

We got married on 9/08/23 with Jim Patton. From the initial introduction via FaceTime to the “I do’s”, Jim is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. We picked a script and made some very small adjustments to it that Jim was open too. He made us feel very comfortable, calm and collected which ensured we were all taken care of. After our wedding, I went to submit our marriage license and the county told us there was a small issue (not Jim’s fault by any means) and we needed Jim to sign a new version. We texted him, and he wanted to make sure we were taken care of. After back and forth mailing, we got it done and I picked up our marriage certificate. We are so happy that we were able to connect with Octavio from Great Officiants and we chose him to officiate our wedding. My wife wanted someone bilingual and Octavio was the one we ended up talking to. He was so entertaining while we were talking over the phone first and fulfilled all of my wife request. Octavio arrived early on the day of the wedding and was able to guide me with the whole process of the paperwork. He had my 2 witness sign the paperwork before the ceremony started to get things out of the way and I really appreciated it. He was amazing officiating our wedding and all of our guest enjoyed having him there. He kept the energy alive and made everything more magical especially with his delivery when speaking Spanish so my wife family who doesnt speak English can understand. Even after our wedding Octavio still respond back to us quickly when we have questions about the marriage license since he handled everything for us after everything is signed.

Regan with Great Officiants was the officiant for a wedding I photographed at Disneyland (The Grand Californian Hotel and Spa). Although I wasnt the customer, I was still very impressed with her professionalism, her eloquence, her ability to command attention from the guests, and her excellent and upbeat attitude. From a photographers standpoint, she was great about knowing where to stand for certain shots, such as the first kiss, and always being on stage and smiling throughout (I didnt have to remove a single photo because she made a face, which is surprisingly rare when photographing weddings). Clifford was absolutely amazing! He was the perfect choice for our wedding officiant. We had him write up a personalized ceremony for us. Neither my husband or I are public speakers, but we still wanted our story told. Clifford went above and beyond! He gave us each a wedding questionnaire. We each filled one out, answering questions about our relationship. He put together a ceremony that was the perfect mix of sweet and funny! Right from the beginning they were so helpful in planning our big day! The owner quickly reached out to me and gave me a number of officiants to choose from on his website. The two that picked out were booked, but he quickly had someone in mind based on the people I had chosen. He sent Rev Gab my way. He did not fail to impress. Father Geoff was amazing. I had a little cough attacks and he took the time to wait for me and water to be brought and a cough drop. Father geof goes thru the entire process of the wedding with you! And gives the best advice to take a day before the wedding off and go away and relax for the day. We wouldnt have wanted it any other way. I reviewed the different ceremony types and their locations where they can have ceremonies. We highly recommend Al-x Buenaflor at Great Officiants! She did such an amazing job officiating our wedding. She was so warm, fun, and engaging. She incorporated humor throughout and made it interactive, but also said beautiful and meaningful words about love and marriage. Our guests were raving about her and told us our ceremony was the best one theyve ever been to because it was so funny and never boring. Al-x was also very responsive and she made great recommendations on how to write our vows and incorporate cultural elements. As a notary, she took care of all the paperwork for our marriage license which made it so convenient for us. She also goes above and beyond. My mom was having trouble walking down the aisle and Al-x walked over and held her hand to help her. When my husband and I decided to get married, we always knew we wanted an intimate ceremony. Our online search led us to The Cute Little Wedding Chapel in Long Beach. Booking everything we needed on the website was so easy. Being able to apply for our license in his office, on the day of the wedding, really simplified the process.We requested the Tropical Terrace chapel, which suited our preference for a simple and intimate ceremony, in an outdoor setting. After going back and forth on having a close friend officiate, we decided it would be better to hire a professional. After a phone interview we knew Roger was the guy for us. He took the time to put together a ceremony that captured us as Disney fans but also fans of each other. We got married in August around sunset at Point Dume Nature Preserve. I was nervous about how everything would turn out I had done most of the planning within a month. What started out as an elopement quickly turned into a small wedding and I am so thankful Lisa Smith was our officiant. My fiance and I wanted to have a beach elopement prior to a destination wedding. The date we wanted fell on a Sunday so we couldnt just head to a Courthouse. Hence, we searched for officiants online and found Great Officiants. We texted Alan at 9:00 P.M. on a weekday and got a response right away. He even gave us the address of a popular spot in Corona del Mar so we could scope it out ahead of time. After figuring out the application and license process (which we did ourselves), we requested an officiant only 1-2 days in advance of the elopement ceremony. Not a problem!Renzo called/texted us the night before to understand what what sort of ceremony we wanted and met us promptly at the location on Sunday. He was very courteous and patient when we didnt start right on time and had a great beach casual look which was professional and appropriate for the ceremony. Alan was INCREDIBLE. Plain and simple you would be crazy not to go with Alan as your officiant. He is hilarious, on spot with his quips, and comedic remarks. If you want your wedding to be filled with fun, sincerity, and an overall feeling of joy and awe you need Alan. Everyone who witnessed our wedding has told us that our ceremony was one of the best they have seen and Alan played a HUGE role in making that day memorable for everybody in attendance.We had the water fountains go off right next to us in the middle of the ceremony and sprayed all over my bride, me, and even Alan! Did he get nervous and freeze up? No way not Alan he was on his game! He was quick to improvise and continued on with the ceremony with sayings such as Let this show you that you need to go with the flow with one another. Remember when you fight to never go to bed angry and that it will all be water under the bridge. He was hilarious and had our crowd rolling with tears of laughter. He turned something tragic into something everybody will remember and quickly made it a positive memory. I recommend Alan to anybody who wants something other than a boring old run of the mill ceremony. If thats what you want then Alan would still find a way to make that amazing.I forgot to mention Alan traveled out of his way for us and worked with my wife and I every step of the way.

People at our wedding couldnt stop raving about how funny and quick Alan is during the ceremony. A helicopter flew by during the ceremony and he instantly threw out a metaphor and incorporated the helicopter into the ceremony and now I will kiss my wife and remember about my wedding day when we hear a helicopter over our heads. My ceremony was a wonderful success and memory and Carolyn was our officiant who helped me all the way down to calling my groom making sure he was on time lol. She made sure I had nothing extra to worry or stress about :). The ceremony she held was capturing and funny at the same time. She made us all laugh and she quickly improvised when my brother in law forgot to bring the sand and bottles for the sand union by having everyone walk up and bless our rings by touching them which was beautiful. We worked with Michael Thieling at Great Officiants for our wedding in April 2014. We had some difficulty finding an officiant, since we were planning our wedding from the East Coast. Our site coordinator recommended Great Officiants and we were very happy with their services. After reviewing the profiles on the website, we set up a call with Michael. He was very easygoing and we got along well from the start. We decided to book Michael for our ceremony, and chose the extra-personalized ceremony. He was very flexible with meeting with us over Skype, given the distance, and was very reliable with responding to our edits as we built our ceremony. On the day of, Michael did such a beautiful job. It was the perfect combination of funny and heartfelt. We got so many compliments on our ceremony, and many of our friends assumed Michael was a good friend of ours since he did such a great job personalizing our ceremony and capturing who we were as a couple. In addition, communication with the Great Officiants service was easy and professional. We decided to apply for a confidential marriage license, which they facilitated. Working with Alan was a pleasure and made the paperwork easy to get through. My wife and I were recently married by Father Geoff Farrow at the Hotel Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica. From the moment we first spoke with him and started to receive correspondence we felt comfortable. After our consultation with him we felt even more comfortable and my wife was so happy we could find a Catholic priest to marry us. Where do I even begin? Firstly, Roger had less than a month to prepare for our spur-of-the-moment Halloween wedding. We immediately knew we wanted him after reading his biography and even paid extra to have him drive to Temecula to officiate our wedding and it was worth every penny AND MORE. Roger honed in on our nerdiness and played into it during the wedding throwing in Princess Bride and Harry Potter references. He was a hoot, too! Everyone was laughing and crying, the perfect amount of comedy and sincerity. I continue to get amazing feedback from everyone saying how much they loved him and our ceremony. Roger really took the time to make it special, he allowed us a moment of silence in the beginning to commemorate those who couldnt be with us (like my Dad who I lost when I was 9, my Grandfather who I lost earlier this year, and my husbands Grandmother who passed a few years back) it was so special to us. Our wedding was Harry Potter-themed and Roger DID NOT DISAPPOINT! He came in full Hogwarts Student garb from the cloak to the tie! When you Google “best officiants” or “best officiants in Long Beach”, Great Officiants is the top choice. There’s no surprise they’re number 1 with 5 star ratings!We requested Alan Katz and met with him several months before our wedding. Alan’s humor is a little over the top…we walked away a little worried. We thought he wouldn’t take the ceremony seriously or that he’d make awkward jokes like he did at our meeting. (Alan, you made us laugh hysterically at our meeting, but didn’t want that for the ceremony).HOWEVER, our ceremony was beautiful, tasteful, and our guests have not stopped complementing us on Alan’s speech and charismatic personality. We had nothing to worry about…and I include this detail in case anyone meets with him and is on the more conservative side, like us.We chose the Greatest Package because we wanted a ceremony that told our story, not cheesy, and no “repeat after me” vows. We wrote our own vows and it was very important that our ceremony reflected who we are as a couple. Alan delivered just that. He entertained our guests before the procession, made us laugh, cry, and told our story exactly how we expressed it to him.You know what I regret? WOW!Yes, WOW!We had the honor of having Alan Katz from Great Officiants officiate our wedding and that is exactly how we felt after our wedding ceremony. Not only us, but our guests too!In the beginning, we were looking for someone who was knowledgeable on cord, veil, and coin ceremony as well. After researching many, we knew we had to go with Great Officiants.The ceremony was a mix of several of the samples Great Officiants has on their website. It was very helpful to look through the different themes and suggested wedding formats that they have on their website. I sent Alan my sample idea for the wedding ceremony and he took it and went with it with perfection! He even made suggestions on the fly to make things go smoothly.We didn’t want the super serious type of ceremony. We wanted a ceremony that reflected us and it was exactly what we wanted and more. Our guests still talk about how wonderful and light-hearted the ceremony was… how it was unique, funny, and not boring. They even questioned if we rehearsed everything beforehand and the answer was no! None of it was rehearsed. That is how good Alan Katz is. He is truly the master of these ceremonies! The day was beautiful the weather was perfect well a little warm you had to keep wiping the sweat from Rick. Lol. The sand ceremony was so amazing. The way you made all the guest a part of it by each one putting sand in the frame was very special. We hired Ralph Barlow as our wedding officiant. He was great throughout the process. We met up early on to discuss everything & to see if he was right for us. He gave us templates for both religious & non-religious ceremonies in which we were able to customize. He never pressured us in any way which was comforting. He even saved us money by telling us NOT to have him at the rehearsal (unnecessary)... Everyone else advised us the same.He showed up to the venue well ahead of time. He performed a beautiful ceremony and kept us comfortable while standing up there. He stuck around for a couple of pictures per our request. He also took care of all the paperwork (less for us to worry about). He sent us the unofficial copy of our license for keepsakes. He was great. Would definitely recommend him!
