Visited yesterday for a walk on one of the 2 trails you can access through the park for the beautiful and breathtaking views of undulating green hills of Chino. This park is clean and has lots of space for soccer, tennis and other activities for children and great place for picnic as well. Now is the best time to visit. Parking may be a bit difficult during weekends as family and hikers come to enjoy the park and trails.

I really like this place. Its a great place to hike. You do get quite a workout. Its probably best to go on a cool day if youre planning a hike. However if youre simply enjoying the park, sunny days are the best.Great for parties, picnics, or just to get away for a bit.

This park is home to one of the few FREE open public skaterinks in the area. I have met skaters and made friends with skaters and hockey players of all ages and from all over Southern California at this skaterink. It is a safe open rink to come out with family and friends to learn how to skate and improve your skills. They also have an amazing roller derby team (Prison City Roller Derby) that cleans the skate rink and teaches you how to skate. They are the friendliest group of women.

This is a perfect park to bring your whole family and friends to. It has a full soccer area and tennis courts, and it also has a trail that you can take. There is also a childrens area where they can play and several gazebos and places I believe you can have cookouts at. The park gets very busy on the weekends but it does have a lot of parking spots.

I Have Been To The Grand Avenue Park Before To Skateboard And Walk Around. Here Are Some Photos From February 2020 At The Grand Avenue Park. This Park Is Located Close To The Los Angeles/San Bernardino County Line Just By 1 Mile And Provides Views Of Both Los Angeles And San Bernardino Counties. I Would Recommend This Park For Los Angeles And San Bernardino County Residents As Well

Came for a 3 mile hike. Not much to see but what do you expect lol.No shade at ALL! Great workout though… the inclines were crazy. Definitely felt it in my knees afterwards.Dogs enjoyed it.The park itself seems very well-kept lots of green and basketball courts… soccer field… tennis court… tiny courts for…. Squash? That new game that’s played on a mini tennis court haha.

Wonderful park with lots of activities for families and children. Great trail that takes you to the top of a big hill you can see the whole city from there. Went on a nice long hike with my brother we had a great time. Pretty steep hill so it was a nice workout. easy to get to from really anywhere in Walnut or diamond bar.

2 full size soccer turf. Brand new and well maintained. There are well organized seasonal soccer leagues weekends and some weekdays. Two tennis courts with lights. One basketball court. Lots of playgrounds for kids. Beautiful hiking trails around. Lots of parking available.Its very clean and safe.I am not sure if pets are allowed here but since its very clean and lots of kids are around I doubt its a dog park.Thank you Chino Hills!

One of our favorite park in the area!Its like all in one. Hiking, Soccer, Playground for big kids and small kids, Tennis, Basketball, Picnic, with an awesome view and plenty of parking spots. Sometimes it can be windy, and thats fine, particularly if you have a nice kite to play.

The direction is a bit off if you come from the east. There is a traffic sign with ltraffic light for keft turn into the parks parking lot located right off of the Grand Ave. You DO NOT NEED to drive past the light to make a u turn very far down the hills and the next light.I dont know how to get Google to fix the pi s on the direction and will try to figure it out but the minus one star is not just for the direction (-1 ⭐), but also for the private coaches using tennis courts longer than an hour (-1⭐).The +1⭐ is for the Grand Avenue hiking trail that we ended up doing instead of tennis. There is a fairly nice view of the mountains in the background, the greenery and wild flowers are withering and turning brown, when we went, there was a nice breeze.

Park looks pretty well maintained. There’s a trail that left side of the park that you can walk into which ends at another park. The view along the trail is nice. There is a bench on top of the hill that people can sit at to see sunset.

1 gazebo with 4 picnic tables underneath. You can’t reserve the gazebo, it’s a first come first serve. Restrooms are.. well it’s a park so it’s like any other restroom at a park. But it always stocked up on toilet paper. Trails her are really nice and the view is awesome

We love Windy Park (as my family has nicknamed this place)! We have visited the playground probably near 100 times in the last 3 years. It is always clean and well kept. No crazy people hanging out, always nice young kids to play with. The fields are also very nice. We have taken several Pee Wee classes through the city. Nice little loop to walk around the perimeter perfect for little legs to burn some energy.

Its a nice little community park. Its not very easy to get to if youre not from the immediate neighborhood. The park seems to be popular with residents. On a Friday evening the basketball courts were all full and there were recreational soccer games going on too. The bathroom was fairly clean and there was soap in the dispenser which is a plus.

Beautiful sunset view. Go earlier than the sunset tine because the sun will hide behind the mountains pretty fast. Its usually chilly there. There is a trail you can walk as well.

One of a kind. If you’re a basketball player, these are probably the best outdoor courts you will ever play on at a public park. Also recommend the trail that goes outside the park. Entrance is at south side behind the tennis courts.

Today was my kids first visit. And it was such a memorable experience for us all! This park has a great trail that leads you over to the other side of the street by going through this rounded tunnel in which they all enjoyed. Talk about a good nature walk as we passed through scenic routes where you can hear the birds in the trees. The trail leads to a top of the hill overlooking the whole park! This park also contains 3 amazing looking playgrounds!! And a nice trail surrounding the park itself! The view from some of the trails is just amazing!! Overlooking the green hills!! Everyone who was there were all friendly ! If you like watching soccer.. they had several games going on for you to enjoy! If you love sports to play. This park offers a variety of basketball courts to racquet ball to tennis courts!! If you like the outdoors and love a good breeze this place is for you!!

Skating is coming back with a vengeance. Parks and Rec need to value the one skating rink left at Grand Ave Park. It needs some loving care. There is other space available for Pickleball. Please lets have a variety of sports in Chino Hills! Did you know that Chino has a roller derby team playing at Grand for the last 16 years?

Im not sure how this park manages to keep idiots with spray paint cans away but everybody treats this park like its their own home. It is immaculate and has some of the best equipment available at any park, anywhere! Its a nice place to start a hike on any of the numerous trails in the area. Its also a great spot to host your young ones bday. While Im on the topic of young ones, ask yourself if youre doing a good job raising yours. Now, do something different because on the whole parenting is in the outhouse.

They got everything you really need. Soccer, basketball, pickleball, hockey, large playing field, playground, and trails to hike on. Great place to also play pokemon go (pogo), mostly red and blue gyms here. Total 5 gyms and 11 pokestops. Super well lit at night as well. Basketball court lights will turn on around 6:15pm (already super dark by this time) and will turn off around 9:50pm. Tennis Court lights turn off at 9:45pm. Gates lock at 10pm.

Very clean, well kept kids playground, artificial grass soccer fields, tennis courts x 2, full court basketball courts. Restrooms are decent for a public park. But the best part was the dirt trail. Walked, light hiked the dirt trail during winter and the hills were green, sky was blue, weather in the mid 60s. . Perfect for a Sunday morning stroll. Will be back!

I’ve been playing soccer at this park on and off for ~12 years or so. They’ve done some great upgrades installing turf on the fields. They have great rec programs as well. Definitely a great park to spend some time at.

Its become really noisy and crowded, and taking a walk is a risk with a ton of soccer balls that can end up randomly hitting me. I dont come here anymore except for early mornings when theres guaranteed to be only walkers.

This is a really nice park, especially if you are into soccer. Most of the field is artificial turf and there are soccer games going on most of the time. This park also has barbecues, a nice trail and a play area for kids. Ideal place for any kind of family activity.

They recently renovated the park. As a kid, my mom and I liked to go to the swings and play set and sit on the grass. The grass is new and they have tennis courts, basketball and racket ball courts. It is also close to a lot of good hikes and has a good walking trail around the park.

Great environment. Park is under construction, so really looking forward to new design. Great place for recreation. Its got all sorts of sport fields. However, the fencing could be higher on the basketball courts because peoples basketballs fly over them too easily. Overall great place to be, whether youre a trained athlete or someone who just needs a place to hang out!

I took my kids there a few days ago to kill some time. We were delighted to find a huge park with several things to do. Grand Ave. Park is a clean and inviting place to bring your family for the afternoon. There are softball and soccer fields as well as basketball courts. There is also a great area for the kids to play. Overall, I would recommend giving this park a try.

Ill be generous and kind and give 5 stars because they re modeled and touched up this park and my children really like going to grand Avenue park, it is a distance away from home. The park has everything it has a soccer field, has playgrounds, has picked me carry is, and a great couple of tennis courts, and a small playground for small children. The best part is that there is a small facility that is for the community as well as an amazing trail around the premitur that you can run and jargon. Theres also a trail that goes off into a nature trail to another adjacent park it is a good 3 mile hike. Its it is a great amazing park in a great amazing location in the most serene and beautiful area in Chino Hills. I should definitely go there more often just to run and train, and appreciate how wonderful it is.

I mostly come here to visit the skating rink. Despite the local derby team paying to book the space twice weekly, the rink and hockey boxes/benches are always really dirty with spiderwebs and leaves. Youd think they could at least come through with a leaf blower.The space is also mostly taken up by unused pickle ball nets pretty much all day. Very frustrating for locals who might want a smooth, flat surface to skate on.This place used to be so much better. Its pretty sad to see.

We parked at the park & hiked the Grand Ave Trail. Great trail. We saw so many hawks and a couple of rabbits. I recommend it. Just be careful, we did see a big coyote.

Grand Avenue Park is a great place but it does come with some consequences. It is right now having under construction for about 4 months and I am doing summer camp and these kids cant play outside on the grass sucks to go all the way around to get to the playground it really sucks and the kids.

This is an incredible little park. there is so much to do here sports wise and parking is a bit tight which is probably the only downfall. i came here and was able to hold/walk around, play basketball and also kick a soccer ball around! and thats not even everything that is up and available here. i hope to come back real soon and enjoy it here some more

A truly sublime stop on a roughly four mile walk through the hiking trail that connects to the hills across the street. Theres not too many places left in SoCal where one feels they are Everlast wilderness that remained unscathed and untouched by human development. This is one of those.

Hockey rink is really dirty and in need of some serious TLC. There are spider webs and leaves/junk in all of the benched team areas and penalty box. Pickleball takes up WAY too much space and time, which is unfortunate since this is a SKATING rink and not a tennis court or a facility meant for racquet sports. The rink itself could also use some sprucing up - lots of old paint lines and cracks in the pavement. For a city like Chino Hills I expect more.
