Yeah I don’t know what is wrong with Google headquarters but my wife and I went there maybe 7 years ago and went to the campus and it was no problem. The employees were having a party and they greeted us and offered us food and were kind.The other day I followed Google Maps to Google Headquarters and I went into the building that said, “You belong here.”Then I was treated poorly by their security staff who took her name badge and hid it from me. I was told I couldn’t be there and had to walk a half a mile to the Googleplex. I asked if they could give me a ride. No.Before I left, after I called them names for being so rude to me, I walked to the Googleplex store, I looked at some products and then a man came up to me and asked me to leave because I caused a disturbance. So I left and in the way out, gave a dog treat to a man with a dog. Then I went pee in their public bathroom which smelled terrible. I then walked back to my car through the same way I just came and 3 security guards approached me, told me I was trespassing and that they would call the police. They then walked right next to me the whole time intimidating me while I then started screaming obscenities at them because Google is a bunch of holier-than-though, velvet rope scumbags.You can see my encounter online on my social media websites. They were out of line and I will never return. Ever.Google is no Apple and those people are a bunch of sadistic psychopaths who told me to leave for causing “a disruption.” First of all, I didn’t cause a disruption UNTIL you told me to leave when I was trying to give you money for your inferior products. And second, I thought tech companies like disruptors?Well not Google. They have a monopoly that the government needs to break up and they don’t want any disruption to their dominating market share and unfair business practices.

Came here for a tour and honestly, it was average. Don’t expect too much and you should be fine. I’m pretty sure if you’re a Googler then you’ll get to see more.It was nice to be there, and we were taken to two cafes, see the plants that employees plant and a Google bike that went away as an employee used it then it was the end. It’s much better to walk around yourself, visit the Google Store and hang out at the cafe next door.I had high expectations therefore gave it 3 stars.

Walked around after a tour of the Vistor Experience. Not really much to see, but I was fascinated with the landscaping and plants. Not too many tech parks have watermelons growing. Lots of pollinators were being visited by their flying friend. Impressive that a company of this size cares enough to do such a good job!

If youre not an employee, you cant see any of theinteresting stuff. So its just a bunch of office buildings in a boring cornerof a not very interesting town.If youre interested in the Computer History Museum nearby, by all means do a drive-by while youre in the area.But dont go there just to see the GooglePlex, it really isntworth the time it would take to get there.

Im writing this as a long time Google user and fan of the company. There are only a handful of things to do here and its an okay experience but it could be better. You can shop for Google merch or devices, eat a meal at the cafe, or get photos with the outdoor art or Android statues. Thats about it. Its a workplace first so know that going in.

So disapointed! Everywhere in the internet is marked that there is a Google Store (similar to Apple) but no, here is absolutely nothing for public - even the water in the public toilet did not work. My family just told me to sell my android phone ... sad all the way from Switzerland, just to see the (pretty nice) Googleplex from the outside

Horrible treatment. Person at googleplex out of the blue told me: HEY MA’AM - YOU CANNOT GO INTO ANY BUILDING.Then I asked, can I use the bikes to explore around?He said, NO!So I asked, so just walk?He said, NO! JUST WALK OUTSIDE. HAVE A NICE DAY.Umm what?.. I felt attacked. He was so rude. No idea why.There was a shop but security told me that it was not open to the public.Waste of time. Not much to see. Just a couple of statues and some geese eating grass.

Google has built their workplace very nicely, in order to create a comfortable space for employees, the park is quite spacious to create an open, transparent space and smooth information flow. Their top management is equally working, regardless of casteThe office is named after famous landmarks: jars field, everest mountain, tokyo tower.Google also set aside a separate room for employees to come and craft miscellaneous items for entertainment purposesEach zone has a corner like the living room in the house.If done here, it will make the brain think more or reduce stress effectively.

Its a beautiful place but you cant go in anywhere! I would have loved to grab some food, buy some merchandise, or whatever, but everything was closed to the public.Still, we enjoyed walking around the huge, bustling campus and riding the bikes. The dino was cute too!

Fun corporate HQ to visit.Set across lots of buildings and well prepared for tourists.Would be nice to have a shop open all week. A visitor shop had loads of signs making it clear a member of staff was required to enter.The Android sculpture garden is pointless so dont bother.If youre prepared to bend the rules theyre unlocked bikes to ride around.

Sprawling campus with lots of greenery and park like atmosphere. Visitors can not enter but can spend time touring and enjoying the beautiful outdoor areas or watching the outdoor employee fitness classes. Friendly security staff. Love this company!

Amazing and welcoming google complex in Silicon Valley. It is open to public. You can take a colourful google bike for free and take a tour in the campus. You can feel the philosophy of google in the campus which encourages its employees to think freely. A must visit place in Silicon Valley. After visiting apple headquarters and experiencing that there is nothing to do there i really enjoyed my googleplex visit.

We took an Uber Pool from Stanford shopping center to Googleplex. The driver was friendly and the car was well maintained so I gave him a 5 star. But when we reached Googleplex we could see the freedom and enthusiasms of the googlers, and I thought of founders like Larry Page and Sergey Brin which allowed technology that drives the many many application like the Uber taxi system which we used to reach this place. We walked around and looked at architecture the sculptures of t-rex and all the activities going on... there were googlers whose hair dyed with the four color representing google to the multitude of ethnic melting pot that is Google. Great place a Great Company.

Google is one of my favorite companies hands down. No other company has given so much control and free information at their fingertips. On a morning walk around my neighborhood, I saw a Google Street View vehicle. Therefore I decided to take a picture of it before it had the chance to take a picture of me. Maybe I will check Google maps to see if we took a picture of each other. That would be interesting.

The main Google campus used to be a great tourist attraction where you could freely walk outside of the buildings. Now the whole area is fenced off to non-employees, and security will quickly come kick you out if they see you wandering outside the fence.

Advertising is very very expensive to get any results. Also, it lowers your score if you do not constantly raise your budget as it ask. We spend $20,000 a month in ad spend with Google alone, and constantly get told to raise the budget.Becoming organic in search results, even when your name is literally in the search term is nearly impossible!One last thing, I’m curious if Google actually responds to its reviewers like it ask us to always do!

After emailing support, video calling and chat support all you guys have done is send me in circles with:Google: Unfortunately we cant fully verify your account because we cant confirm your affiliation with the business listed on the account.I am a remote business with no location or branded vehicle but I have sent you my business License # as a legitimate company in my city. Still you refuse to fully verify my account! Believe me if I was trying to create a scam business I would not be trying this hard to get my account verified!Your support team is incompetent at best and lazy at worst! We went to Silicon Valley when I visited the US. My cousin drove me around and we went to the corporate headquarters of almost all of the famous tech companies. Our last stop was the Google Headquarters. Unfortunately, they were already closed. I saw some Googlers who are about to go home and they said “hi” to me even if they don’t know me. It was dark and we went home with only these photos of the Google HQ, the famous Google bike, and the lobby of one of the buildings.

First, I have been a loyal Google customer since the Pixel 2. Almost a year ago I upgraded my Pixel 5 to a Pixel 7 Pro. I sent Google my Pixel 5 phone back to them upon receiving the Pixel 7 because I got a trade in deal.Flash forward to today: I looked at my phone bill and realized I was being charged two device insurance plans for $8: one for the Pixel 7 Pro (my current phone), and one for the Pixel 5 which I traded in nearly a year ago. After further investigation, I realized they have been charging me this additional $8 for 9 months.I called Google Fi and explained that I was charged twice and that I wanted a refund for the 9 months of Pixel 5 insurance they have been charging me. They refused to refund me. Flat out refused to refund explaining to me that this was an automated process. In fact, its clearly not an automated process. When one trades in their device, that device plan and all its associated fees are null and void. Apparently, not at Google Fi.I switched from Apple to Google a decade ago, and Ive loved Googles services. But this business practice is extremely shady--they stole my money.I am headed to the Apple Store to get back to the iPhone. Im appalled by this business practice, and Googles response.

Purchased a Google Nest cam. I waited a while to install it. After I installed it, I ran a test on it, and discovered that it was not sensing, recording, or notifying me of activity, thus making it completely inefficient as a home security camera. I contacted an employee to help and troubleshoot the issue. I spent over two hours trying everything under the sun, but could not get to the bottom of the problem. I asked her for a return, but she stated she could not do a return because it was out of the 15 day window that Google allows. So, I asked if I could do an exchange and get a different type of camera. She said that she could not do that either. Her solution was to keep troubleshooting. I gave her a little more time, but then it only got worse, as she could never get the cam to properly work and then resorted to asking me routine questions from her guidebook, which were obvious that I had already done, such as make sure the power is turned on. After talking to her for over two hours, we had clearly made sure the power was on and the live feed was showing. The issue was and continued to be that the camera was not picking up or recording motion UNLESS the Google Home app was OPEN (who is going to keep their app open all the time). So, this is a major glitch in the Google Nest product. I am giving Google a 1-star rating because they could not solve my problem, nor would they issue a return or exchange. I told her to keep the measly $272...I will chalk it up as a small loss and move on to Ring. The Google CEO is a billionaire and they are worried about $272? They will lose much more than that from me because I will purchase all my future products from other companies.

This was one of my dream place to visit. Google Head Office / Home. I can say one of the biggest office I ever visited before.I had a great experience here during the LG Summit 17.Quite, clean, big offices, cafeteria, great infrastructure in and out. Very friendly and helpful staff all over the complex incase of anything. Best wi-fi.The great part of outside infrastructure on the parking lot there is parking for disabilities and I was surprised to see expectant mothers parking sign. Just this is an example that shows Google cares so much.

2024 - Why in goodness name can I not copy a folder in google drive! I am paying for 20TB of storage via workspace. It really slows things down not being able to copy a folder. Is this productivity suite or not! :-) Google meet is great by the way.2023 - Do your best work, all in one place. - Except manage domains apparently . Which is very much part of my work. You should not sell to squarespace. It is not a good move for your customers.2019 - Thanks for enabling me to run my own business, for these last 10 years. I never thought i would be a successful person, but thanks in part to Google I am.Feedback: In the UK gas relates to gases kept in pressurised containers (propane for example) . If we want fill a car or truck with fuel, we go to a petrol station. Google maps for UK, seams to use USA meaning for gas, which delivers misleading map search results.

Their Tech support worked on my Pixel phone and he reset my wireless and mobile data network on the phone that caused a hardware error that Google Engineer couldnt fix or troubleshoot. That happened in February 17th 2018 and to the present day Google hasnt done anything to fix my device and they refuse to replace it because its out of warranty. My device was defected by one of Google tech who has done something to my device that causes the hardware issue but Google wont accept it or admit it. Im posting the chat that I had with the supervisor of Google to let you know how bad of customer service this company is and to STAY AWAY FROM THEIR PRODUCTS.

The IQ of every person you meet here is likely to be higher than yours. Its an amazing place. The nearby Charlies cafe has great food and do try that if youre a visiting guest. This place gives you that Silicon Valley vibe. Checkout the nearby merchandise store and TRex skeleton as well. Or just keep walking around and you may run into a CEx come celebrity.

I have an google drive account & I think its making copies of my files on the drive thus increasing the storage space I am not actually using. I signed up for a subscription to have more digital storage on my drive. Its hard to get the fix because google wont pick up the phone & no one in the help community has a similar problem like this. There is not a score for how low that could express customer service.Its been a month since posting this review & they fixed the fraudulent account problem. Now if i could just get somebody who can figure out why my files are no longer visible to me at all, that would be great.

Great architecture, however the main headquarters cannot be entered by guests but only by people invited by employees. You can walk around the building. There are google bikes but they are off limits to guests. They are currently making the Charleston East building into a guest centre.

Visited from Alberta Canada in April and, while I am a loyal Googler, I was very disappointed that there was literally not a single building that a fan could visit or enjoy. The walking areas are very nice, dont get me wrong... But having visited Intel HQ and their museum, and Apple Park with their visitor center (aka apple store), the least Google could do is have a small area dedicated to selling merch or showcasing Googles accomplishments. We spent an hour or so walking around the area and visited the Androids, but even the playground/park is locked down to employees only. Not much for us to do or see other than some neat architecture.

On July 19th 2023 my Google Pay Account was suspended without notice nor a explanation was given. After contacting several specialist I was eventually informed that my account could not be verified and needed to be closed. I was emailed a secured form and asked to input my bank information to initiate a return of the available funds that I had.After waiting and not receiving anything I called my bank and they informed me there were no pending deposits and to ask for a transaction ID I believe so that the deposit could be tracked. I was never provided one and eventually the $ 75.08 was returned to the Google Pay Account that was suspended.I called Google support with mixed results as some representatives were helpful and while others hung up or ended the conversation through chat before I could finish typing. Eventually I was sent another secured form and asked by Google Support to input the same information but using a different account which I did and emailed it back to them.Recently, I received a refund in the amount of $75.08 in the account that was suspended by Google and I placed two separate phone calls in which the first specialist I spoke with hung up on me, I called again and the second representative was somewhat helpful but repeated what every representative and supervisor told me which is I was receive an email.I have been dealing with this process of having my money returned to me and I have not received any viable information that would lead to a resolution to this issue.

As of then Google has gotten worse - now they are blocking my 5 star reviews of 5 star hotels and restaurants in Italy and I think they are suppressing reviews on behalf of other companies that pay them to do it. My reviews were positive and their flagging was that they were false or paid advertising! Really, Google? Wow. I reported this issue ot the venues in question and I hope they get it resolved. There are so many things wrong with google this is just the tip of the iceberg.

I bought a Nest Hello and spent a good 2 hours installing it and getting it to work right. I knew I would need a $50 - $300/year Nest Aware subscription for Familiar Face Alerts and 24/7 video recording. I was OK with that as I dont need these features.Heres what Nest doesnt tell you in their advertising:Without a subscription, you get NO video alerts at all. Not even the 10 seconds of video when someone approaches your door.Instead, you get a single static image. It only captures a face about half the time.Nest deletes the image forever only 3 hours after its taken. So if youre on a plane, in a meeting, camping, sleeping and so on, youre just SOL.Theres a 30 minute non-adjustable cool down period after an alert during which you get no further alerts. So if the person steals your packages, breaks in to your home, etc, you get no alerts or images or anything about that activity. If they leave and someone else comes within 30 minutes, again you get no alerts.This is outrageous to me. Ive got a $230 security product that is heavily advertised as a security product, yet permanently deletes all security logs 3 hours after they happen and they dont mention a word of it in their marketing materials. Frankly, the advertising on this product is false and misleading.Ive historically been a fan of Nest. I have a dozen protects and two thermostats. However, this is obviously a blatant money grab for Nest Protect. Im upset that I wasted my money supporting this first generation Nest product. Also, I cant even return it because they included a 30 day subscription to Aware and a 30 day return policy. So you dont know theyre going to cripple your device until after the return policy has expired and youre stuck with it.

Im a long time Google guide and commercial investor. Over the past few years Ive filed multiple reports against a racist Google guide review of a local business. Google never responds other than an automated message from a no reply address, and the racist review is still viewable. The business in question is a cigar shop and they do not allow food consumption inside their establishment. However the Google guide said, this is more like a place for brothers to go eat chicken than have a cigar, blatantly making a racially motivated reference to the fact that its mostly black customers and a black owned business. Business is nice and friendly, clean, respectable, and in a nice area of town. What a lie.ADDENDUM: As of May, 2023, I started receiving follow requests on GMaps/Google Guide profile. These are from obviously fake accounts. I have recently started my own company and finding out that many people think they have left a Google review and the review appears for them but doesn’t actually show up on the Google business page. This can be very frustrating. Many clients are bewildered when they see it on there phone or computer but it doesn’t really exist. It’s downright fraudulent in my opinion. There is an individual making fake google accounts and posting bad reviews, multiple times per day. It is the same individual leaving the reviews as there are common punctuation errors throughout each review. I searched for a month or so for a 2023 Kia Rio in all GTA and couldnt find one. Google Fi customer service must be the worst on the planet. Ive been trying to get a lost phone order replaced for 10 days now. Nothing but a run around until a couple of days ago when they finally acknowledged the order was lost by FedEx. Great campus. Very pleasant atmosphere. The working environment is one of best in the world. This is the corporate headquarters of Google and its parent company Alphabet Inc. Android lawn statues is one of the good places to visit in the campus. Public visitors can walk around and take pictures. For detailed visit of campus you may need to visit with an employee. They have a gift store for the visitors.

We bought a gift card at our local Walgreens to use on google for books and games. The card wont work despite it having a balance. We were asked (by robots?) to submit a copy of our receipt and the card which we did many times but google says the card isnt eligible and we cant appeal. This is fraud and illegal. We have had zero help from google, all we get is the runaround and we seem to be dealing with robots who cannot exactly tell us whats going on. Horrible experience dealing with google.

Some reviews I’ve posted on Maps have gotten several views and that’s the part I like. Google also sends these little emails that say, “Your contribution is helping!” And it shows how many people have viewed your photos/reviews. So to put it into context-my first review was 5 years ago and over that length of time my review views went up and so did Google’s email to me recognizing my “contributions.” So yea-Google MapsGoogle Photos: It’s a growing relationship but I’m feeling it. My aha moment with Photos was when Apple wouldn’t allow you to copy and paste photos from your IPhone to a folder on your desktop. I’m only comparing Apple simply because that’s the product I used prior to transitioning to Google. Now-if you don’t know what I’m talking about in short-since I started with Apple’s first iPhone and have had each one-you used to be able to plug the phone into the computer, open the phone like a file folder-and copy and paste. Now, there are so many securities and this and that I was fed up (I did reach out to Customer Service to no avail several times). I’ve since gathered all my photos from Apple and transferred them to Google Photos…but Google….I don’t know how many pictures, videos, etc. I have. I can’t find it anywhere-the actual count of items in your storage. So I’m not exactly sure where to send this review. I have posted many reviews on Google. I currently live in an apartment, it can be awful at times. I have posted several negative reviews, as well as others who live here. It’s amazing how all negative reviews are completely gone, including pictures. I love Google and their numerous services that are all interconnected. We are the Christopher Columbus of the digital world. Capturing roads that have been missed on the map or locating ancient sites and putting them on the map makes finding and learning about places most never knew existed. My goal is to map out as much of this earth as possible using drones, 360 trekker cameras, creating KML and KMZ files so others can easily parse through the junk and find exactly what theyre looking for or finding topics/places in a one stop shop via KML or KMZ. Im sure out of all the folks who have commented on this particular review have nowhere near the amount man hours put in, reviews left, new places added, photos/videos added or even points. Google if youre looking for someone to get down in the trenches and find unknown sites or places most wouldnt dare to go to sign me up! Ive lived all over the world and would be honored to do that for a living. Im sure its all great and fun when you work for them, but never buy any of their Pixel products through them. Their support system is incredibly horrible. You cant get someone on the phone. I dont like how anybody can just edit someone elses business profile, or flag it or get it suspended. My husbands business account is suspended, and I cant even get in contact with anyone at Google to help fix it, I did the reinstatement letter over 6 days ago and still no response. Too much to see and do in the limited time we had here. It is definitely a fun and creative campus that brings out the child in you and encourages conversation and social interactions. It is huge so be prepared to do some walking and save batteries for all the photo ops! The staff canteen has such good food and the line moves fast. The souvenir shop has great stationary which is good as gifts. The staff toilets (female one) was stocked with sanitary goods. People are treated well here!

2004 I got my first email to set my Gmail account as a recovery for my Yahoo Mail. But then I loved Google. Over 18 years using various Google products, including extensive use of GoogleOne and its API, I feel Google left its loyal client behind and moved toward Act like Apple and dont let customer control their fate! . Google Removed many complex and sophisticated solutions and reduced Customer Control over the rights and products, and instead force them to update, use and act in the way Google likes. I would appreciate it if Google Maps stopped making the way a lot longer for driving or walking directions! It is annoying and it needs to be fixed. Things like this causes people to have to use up a lot more gas or electricity than necessary, let alone valuable time that could be used on something else! Also, Google Maps doesn’t automatically upgrade the fares of the bus whenever they update it, even if they let people know about it months ahead of time. Worst part is that this is happening in California by centra valley and the Bay Area, places that are near Google headquarters! They claim to be a great company, I would like them to act like it. Actions speak louder than words. One time, I was taking the SF Muni bus, and Google Maps said it was $2.75 for the fare. It was early August 2019 and it had just been updated to $3.00. Google Maps didn’t update it! Also, a lot of times, by observation, it was trying to get me to avoid the freeways, even when there was no traffic! Really? Google Maps has a long way to go still.

People rate things with no disregard of the issues that could have surrounded that business that day or place. Once your negative remarks hit a place it’s no return. Google has no investment in private business and no stake in the game. Class action lawsuit should be entered against Google for false statements and publishing them. Hi. I stopped at Google headquarters while in Mountain View. The campus is very pretty with trees, colorful bikes, a courtyard with people eating including a community garden. I asked at the front desk about customer service and a tour of the campus but they said that unless I know somebody on the Google campus there are no tours for outsiders. I enjoyed sitting on the grass watching the employees play football. And interesting business to visit. Would have really enjoyed a tour of their facility and information about Google and how they run their business as well as the things that they do for our world and the Internet. I recommend checking it out if you are in the area. There are other tourists visiting the campus but again, there seems to not be any services for tourists unless you know somebody who works here.

Here I am, standing in front of the campus, at the pin drop. It is gorgeous and peaceful, I walked around taking in the sites & bikes. Yes I arrived at night to record my connect live video haha I know right? How could I not review it? I’m thinking I am the only one that has done it at 3am. The campus is well kept, grass cut, streets are clean and yes there is construction. The buildings are well lit and clean. There is numerous campers in one section however they do not impede traffic or what would appear to be operations. It’s located in a very convenient location and there’s food across the Interstate!I couldn’t give this a full review because I was only outside.
