I was concerned about this place, but stayed here two nights and it was just fine and safe. I got a good nights sleep. Bed was fine. Bathroom, shower, were fine. TV worked. A/C worked. Staff was very friendly. It is not a Hilton or Marriott property, but it is just fine for what it is.

The buildings are in very good condition. The rooms are spacious. We stayed in a room with a Queen size bed. Perfect for two people. The room was quite clean. It only had a smell of humidity. I am very sensitive to smells, that even when I woke up in the middle of the night, I could smell it. The bathroom is quite ample and very clean. The pool looked very clean, we were not able to get it because we came back late and we were staying only one night. The rooms have TV cable with a variety of channels and Wifi. It is near the Fwy, eating places and gas stations. Would I Stay again? Yes, if it is only hi for just one night.

The parking is a little tight when other guests take up 2 spaces, but the office staff said they had the ability to address that which was nice of them. Office staff was very helpful and pleasant. They were very helpful on late arrival. Basic rooms were safe and clean. Pool area nice. Central location to shopping centers for food, great view of mountains

Beautiful, walkable location and clean rooms. Had an unexpected accessibility issue with a family member and the standard shower, and the staff was super accommodating. They offered a ADA room right away, but we had made last minute plans to stay closer to family already and they made the process of cancelling the other nights very easy.

I was there for a weekend getaway with my family, I have two kids and they were playing the room. Running, not jumping, and i received a complaint. It was 1300, mid-day. The front desk called me and threatened to remove me and my family from the room. How is it that we received a complaint mid-day because my two kids were having fun while on vacation? The rest of our stay was ruined because my kids were unable to even walk due to the possibility of receiving another complaint. I asked if we could be moved to the first floor in order to accommodate the person that called for the complaint and the front desk simply said no, that if we couldnt stay quiet that wed be removed. Once again, it was mid-day, id understand it it was night time or early morning, but it wasnt. This was the worst stay weve had. We do not plan on using this hotel anymore and would not recommend to anybody looking. The customer service was terrible.

Plain but very clean and appropriate for a good nights rest. Small refrigerator, no microwave. The burbles shower needs some help with where the shower curtain is hung. A fair amount of water went into the room. It would be simple to fix that. Very nice choice of floor tile

The Goodnite Inn is on the outskirts about 1 hour 23 minutes from the LAX airport, making it ideal if your destination or area of interest is nearby. The staff were generally great; a blonde lady whose name starts with a K was particularly awesome (morning shifts), quickly resolving our room issue by moving us to a nicer one.We stayed here for 6 days. The inn is affordable, but the cleaning could be improved, we kept finding hairs all over the room from previous guests including the bathroom. The area felt safe, quiet, and plenty of restaurant/fast food options.A downside is the noise if ur room is on the ground floor. The sound from the room/corridors above was extra loud, making it hard to sleep until the upstairs everyone went to bed. The pillows also need to be changed; they are too flat, and doubling them up makes them too high and uncomfortable. Despite these, I would still recommend this place and will definitely return. It offers decent value for the price.

I had such a fantastic time staying at Good Nite Inn Calabasas. I traveled to Cali for a friends wedding and the hotel everyone was staying at was too expensive. Good Nite is an affordable hotel in a great location (10 min from the wedding). Its near a grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants, and fast food. The staff were very friendly at check in and check out. My room over looked the pool and was very quiet at night. I was a woman traveling alone and at no point did I feel unsafe. I will def be staying here again if i make it back to the area.

I was recommended to this place by my friend. I was really glad that this place is nice, quiet and very clean. In fact, I was very impressed! My kids n I checked in pass 9ish at night. Alex at front reception was very nice to accommodate me even though my ID was lost and stolen. He was asking if I had my credit card and another form of ID. I told him that I only have my previous ID. He was so nice and checked us in with no problems! I greatly appreciate people going out of their way to help and provide great service and finding solutions of uncontrollable situations/issues. Thank you again Alex great work! If I was your boss I would give you a raise🙏😇. After staying here 7days. I’ve decided to extend our stay for additional 7days which was told by Jazmine at the front that after 14days I would have to leave for 24hrs in order to stay at this hotel again. But she was very rude and very unprofessional. No customer service! Anyways, I asked Jazmine if they give discounts since I have been here over 7 days and paid over $800. Per Jazmine’s response was “oh we don’t give discounts” “Our manager doesn’t like people that extended stay” I was absolutely offended by her response! But I continued to ignore her rude comments so I can pay for the extension. Even though I’ve noticed she was becoming more and more rude with short responses. Upon agreeing to the rates she provided me, she stated that I would need to provide my physical ID again which didn’t make since to me because the last 2days extension prior to this, she did not ask for my physical ID. I tried to provide her my ID photo on my cellphone and she said she couldn’t help me because I needed a physical ID. I mentioned to her that they literally already have all my records needed. She said that I would have to come back the next morning and speak to her manager. I did not like her response! This is absurd! I had my son bring bunch of dirty towels to give her to be replaced with new clean towels but when my son asked her politely. She responded that they didn’t have anymore towels available to provide us. I asked her for her name and right away her attitude changed and told my son that they did have towels. She made my son walked out office and told my son to go to the door outside where they store the dirty towels. Which that should’ve been her job. She made my son go to that room and had him place it inside. I was furious! She was dictating my son what to do as if he works for her! or her assistant!She should not work as front desk reception she has no customer service and very unprofessional. Her uniform was wrinkle! As if she didn’t want to be there!

Great stay at a great price! Has all the necessities you’d need if you’re looking for a clean place without any extra amenities.For a gym, there’s Agoura Fitness about 6-8 minutes down the road for $20 for the week so all around a good area if you’re visiting anyone in the area and need a good affordable place to stay.

Nice hotel for the price range. The lobby was very clean, the room was clean but the tub had hairs in it. The bed was thin and firm. Otherwise great stay for the price. Check in was quick, I did already have a reservation. Coffee and tea are offered in the morning!

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting LA.It was a good base. Easy access to the highway, I couldnt hear it in our room.The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. No coffee maker in the room which would have been nice. Our room faced inside so was very dark, but we were mostly in it during dark hours so not an issue.The surroundings were nice, some restaurants and supermarket within walking distance.

I came in one night, tired from a long day. I checked in, and the manager was not that welcoming. He checked me in and never gave back my ID. They realized they had it, and never tried to give it to me. I took off the next day, still not realizing they had it. I was already hours away. I called them, and they made me feel it was my fault that I left it behind. The manager told me I had to mail an envelope, so they could mail it to me. They were very hesitant to the idea of even mailing it to me! Well end of story, I never got my ID. Thanks guys.

Its a 2-star hotel next to the highway. The rooms are okay, and the beds are nothing special. The walls and windows are incredibly thin though, so you will hear everything from people walking by, talking next door, and the sound of cars on the 101. If youre looking for a quick place to crash for the night and noise doesnt bother you, then this place will do the job for the price. Otherwise, Id recommend look elsewhere

My friend and I came to visit from Florida, and booked this hotel room for 5 nights. After the first day I called the front desk to see if the cleaning ladies were going to clean the room, and the guy there just said to me. No, we will not have the ladies to clean the room until the 6th day when you are gonne. We will only give you fresh towels and take the trash. The sheets or cleaning the bathroom you are on your own.So if you get this place for one night maybe ok. But if youre planning to stay more beware of what youre going to face. Good luck

For the price, its a great choice. As long as you dont plan to stay too long and dont plan to stay inside much. If you need a place to crash for a night while visiting LA, this one is in a great location. Also the service is really great too. We called them to ask about a missing bag after we had checked out and they worked hard to find it in the room.

The only positive of my experience was the convenient location.The parking is limited. Walking to our room we could smell crack throughout the breezeway. The motel is older, so there are many stairs (in poor repair) to access the second floor rooms. The second floor would not work for a person with limited mobility. The rooms have been recently remodeled to a simple and modern aesthetic. They looked clean at first glance, but there was hair on the bed spreads, on the sheets, and in the bath tub. The sheets were stiff. The pillows were hard. The carpet felt moist and unclean. We arrived very late at night or we would have tried to find a different place to sleep. We did move to another location for the rest of our stay. It did not feel safe or hygienic to continue to stay there.

We were in a car crash and the Hopper and Booking didnt have any reservations here, but we called and Jacob got us situated. He is super helpful. We kept asking for stuff like extra blankets, cups and plates and he delivered immediately. We didnt have to wait for stuff. He did his job wonderfully. The rooms were clean and had plenty of towels. Ive had better service here than at more expensive hotels Ive stayed at. Definitely recommend this place. The only downside was that it was raining and the stairs were wet and I slipped and almost fell. I wish the steps had a better coating for drip instead of the round metal exposed at the edges that makes it slippery. Almost falling was the rains fault, which cant be helped much. Overall, would stay here again.

I have stayed at a lot of hotels lately all over California and this one is the worst for the following reasons.It is next to the freeway and very noisy. It is drab with no art on the walls or anything to make it look inviting. It does not even have a coffeemaker. You can only get coffee from 6-10AM. When you turn on the heater, it stinks. Strong community college dorm vibes.The place is obviously cheap and well placed, but I cant really understand the cleanliness ratings Im seeing online.- very uncomfortable crinkly plastic bed+ great air conditioning- bloody bedbug stains in the bedbug protector covering the box springs+ mini fridge, was clean- vending machines and ice machines in bad disrepair+ masked staff and sanitizer at check-in- its loud (freeway and thin walls, can hear nearby conversations and cleaning)- tiny 20 TVId probably not stay here again, particularly for any long amount of time, but if youre stopping by for the night, the place is serviceable. Marriage rings stolenMy wife and I did a weekend vacation to celebrate our ten year Anniversary. We did our first stop here. Front desk was nice both at check in and check. However, on our way to Palm Springs my wife noticed she had removed her rings to wash our baby’s bottles and left them near the sink. We called the hotel and through we could pick them up the next day. They were not found. We are celebrating our ten year anniversary while losing our 10-year ring. It is sad, disappointing and cannot imagine how someone could take the rings and not return them. They have so much value and now, I stead of enjoying our time together we are figuring how to file a police report.

This is a good value hotel. Clean, somewhat quiet, and in a good location. When I arrived they had the police responding to a situation which was enough for me to want to go somewhere else, but I stayed and after the four police cars left, I actually enjoyed the stay. The room was clean, no insects or bed bugs and good location (15-minute drive to Malibu and Calabasas). The location was quiet and nice, felt safe.Was fit for purpose and good price. Also had a mini fridge which was helpful to chill water in we bought from the supermarket further up the street. Bed was comfortable enough for us to sleep.The only downside we can really mention was there seemed to be an issue with the smell of the water. We are not sure whether this was a problem with the motel or the area as we did see on the local news there were some issues with the water in the area, but it had an awful smell. As previously mentioned we had bought bottled water from the supermarket up the street anyway and opted to get coffee and tea from the local Starbucks at the supermarket.Other than that, good price for a good stay in a great location. Would stay again if we were in the LA area.

Another patron hit a housekeepers vehicle and drove away. The hotel staff and house keepers knowingly tried to attempt to commit INSURANCE FRAUD by filing a FALSE REPORT SAYING I was THE DRIVER THAT HIT THEM. Then tried to ban me from making reservations there. WHY WOULD I WANT TO STAY THERE? My peace over my pockets any day. Cheap lil spot in a nice area if you wanna kick your feet up and chill for a few days. But shady business dealing like insurance fraud makes me a lil iffy as to what else could be going on there.

Front desk lady was very kind. The room was clean. The room had a stale odor. The bathroom sink was very slow draining so brushing teeth was gross. Shower water pressure was weak. Toilet tissue was so cheap and thin that it shredded with use and only one roll given. Walls very thin. Next door guests sounded like they were Walking on the walls, slammed doors, stood outside while talking loudly. Couldnt sleep. Not sure why hotels dont accommodate Elderly to one section of the hotel for peace and quiet so the young people and families can be as loud as they want.without disturbing others. If not for the clean room and sweet lady at the front desk I would have given a 1 star. Also a dirty housekeeping cart was upstairs in the corner leaking a fluid and the grounds were a bit unkept.

I live in Riverside county my husband was doing a job in Ventura for two weeks the drive is so far so we decided to find a hotel. We search for a great price and tried to see which ones looked the cleanest. Good Nite Inn popped up and we decided to book a night to check it out. OMG I absolutely LOVED it, so we booked it for a week and a few days. It is SUPER comfortable and affordable. The staff are very welcoming and professional. I would 1,000% recommend this Hotel. You will NOT regret it at all TRUST ME. Thank you to the staff for such a wonderful, comfortable experience. I will definitely be back!!!!

The rooms are quite small and the beds are only full size, not a queen. The pillows are extremely flat and awful, definitely reccomend bringing your own pillow. The room has a small fridge, no microwave, a desk and TV. The shower water is really hot which was good. The bed was a little hard. Dont get a ground floor room if you dont have to. You can hear everything above you, it was so loud. Wasnt the worst hotel overall, but not really worth the cost honestly.

A great room for the price you pay for! About 20-25 minutes to Malibu and in a fairly quiet and safe neighborhood. The desk attendant allowed us to check in 2 hours early since we were so tired from a long day at the beach and all the driving involved!Unlike most motels, the Good Nite Inn has room that are stocked with more than enough towels, amenities, and soap. The pillows are also very comfortable for a motel. That made my night so much better to sleep!

Good location if you want to do something in the LA area.We stayed for two nights. The queen room was small, but clean and looked remodeled. There was a refrigerator but no microwave. The first night wasn’t bad, but the second night we barely got some sleep because the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from the other rooms. Neighbors were slamming doors and listening to music during night time.Maybe that’s because of the wooden architecture, but as a German I’m not used to such a noisy room.Overall our stay was ok and staff were nice and understanding. Too bad they don’t have breakfast.

Bed bugs. I was bitten over 50 times. Room 250 is infested. They moved me but put someone else back in there the same day... I suspect they did not treat the infestation and they bugs are still there! Despite my best efforts they have come home with me and its a nightmare of itching and nightly waking. Avoid this place!

If youre not paying attention you may miss the turn into the parking lot. The rooms are smaller than the advertised photos. I guess for logistical reasons most of the people staying we were all on one side of the motel. The front office is kind of hard to find. We had to get a couple of items from the front desk since our room didnt have any. The front desk staff person was friendly and professional.

I had the most disappointing and terrible experience at this motel! After driving for 1hr to reach the place, I was told upon arrival that my booking had been canceled. This last-minute cancellation ruined my plans and left me stranded in the night with no alternative accommodation nearby. We were in the northern LA area for a wedding and were incredibly grateful to find an affordable place to stay (relative to other options). This is a clean, basic space with a beautiful courtyard and coffee service. Minus one start just to reflect that it is not a bells and whistles place -- no breakfast, no decorated comfy lobby, etc. But a great location, hot water, clean sheets. Disappointing. Rooms are clean upon check-in but there is no room cleaning during your stay. They claim to do a daily « towel refresh » but it’s our 3rd night and we have yet to receive clean towels and have the dirty ones removed. If you need toilet paper you have to go ask the front desk. Seriously? That’s a minimum even a basic motel should offer.I also booked 2 rooms and we were placed on the opposite side of the property with no option to move closer, unacceptable.I will not recommend it or return in the future.

I had one of the updated rooms and it was clean. The room smelled good and the shades on the windows were nice and modern and not those hideous drapes that larger hotel chains love.The downsides: mattress was very hard. And you can tell the thread count if the pillows and sheets are defiantly low grade. Also no fridge, microwave, or hairdryer in the room.Yet your near Malibu and when you find a rate this good for a clean place they give you affordability for the area. From one business owner to another, we’ll done on managing the finances and cutting costs to provide a clean establishment in a High price area without the outrageous cost of other nearby hotels. Alex is to aggressive on the phone, portrayed the idea that you can’t ask for funds back if you pay for a weekly rate when I didn’t even bring that up. Like why would I want to ask for my money back after staying? This is my first time asking for a monthly rate and the Alex acted as if I was a scammer when he’s the one scammer and charging more than the daily rate posted on websites and google maps. On the website it shows that the daily rate is $91 per day (05/24/23) for a single bed. He told me on the phone the max they could allow is a 14 day max at $1672 which breaks down to $119 per day plus tax. Why charge the customer more than the daily rate posted on websites and google maps? My roommate scammed me and wasn’t paying the landlord and now cheap motels are trying to take advantage when you’re just trying to get a motel before you move in to your new house.

The shining star of this hotel is the staff; the young lady who checked us in was smiling, personable and helpful. The manager responded to my written inquiry before we arrived and was happy to accommodate my familys request...5 stars to them!The 1st room we checked in to smelled heavily of cigarette smoke (as if someone had just finished a couple of smokes), even though it was a non-smoking room. The staff member (I wish I could remember her name) happily moved us. Our room seemed pretty clean, except for some hair and something white on the bathroom floor near the toilet. Our beds were not comfortable. One seemed to have a hard bump then a dip in the mattress. As other people have mentioned, you could hear the buzzer with a mini refrigerator. It did not bother us enough to unplug it. The rest of the hotel where we stayed was quiet. Our room face the courtyard instead of the freeway. Stay here was perfect for one night stay. Great location, close to the freeway and some store. The overall experience was just okay. Our room had nats all over the place, and the mattress was so horrible (very hard) that we could hardly get any sleep. Also the night manager was very rude and unpleasant to both myself and stepmom. He gave us attitude just for asking for towels and tissue. On top of that he told me I was breaking hotel rules because I had a service pet with me which is no bigger than 6 pound. The rest of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Won’t be staying at this location again due to the night managers poor customer service.

So Ive stayed here three or four different times since 2018 when visiting from the northeast and my fondness for this little hotel continues to grow. Towels and bedsheets have always been very clean and fresh smelling on every visit, like almost brand new. Its become very apparent to me they really care about that stuff. Beds, soft and comfy. Friendly and attentive front staff. Layout of the whole place is cute and has character with beautiful views of the hills. And the pool here is the real deal. It has a deep end of 8 ft. with crystal clear water. Most of the hotels Ive stayed at are about double the price of Goodnight Inn and some of those featured a little less cleanliness and a less impressive pool. I love a good pool at a hotel and Im sick of the same rectangular 5ft. pools you get at chain hotels. For the money, this Goodnight Inn FAR exceeds expectations at this price point. Im legitimately sad when its time to go home. Great hotel. Additionally the girlfriend and I have always felt safe here and neighbors have been mostly quite. The only negative I can think of is the soundproofing is poor. You can hear anything going on next door or outside very easily. But that has not been an issue as most patrons here have been very quite. Overall I highly recommend staying here.

After a lovely day watching the xmas lights, we got a room so we didnt have to drive back. We put our stuff in the room and went to dinner. When we came back the room to relax. We saw roaches. I took video and photos for documentation. My fiance and I immediately packed our bags and went to the front office to ask for refund as we cannot stay somewhere that has cockaroches. Staff said he is not authorized to make refunds and it a manager issue. We emailed the manager and left without a refund, we then went elsewhere and booked another room at a different hotel. Im very disappointed that our little stay cation was ruined. Im hoping the manager is a professional and we get a refund. As of yet no email or contact from the hotel. It was around 2Am and my room felt stuffy and I had just opened the window with the curtain partially open to get some fresh air. Literally 5 minutes later I started smelling the smell of cigarettes and I look out from the corner of the window and see the man next door casually smoking right outside . I was upset because this place had no smoking signs all over. I was hesitant to talk to him. Just as I headed out, the security guard walked up and had the man put out his cigarette and told him where he is allowed to smoke. It was great.Later on, I forgot a few things in my car and had to go my car to get them. As a woman I prefer not go out past certain hours, but the items in my car were a must. As I headed towards the parking lot I noticed the same security guard heading there and apparently he was making his patrols. It really made me feel assuring knowing that he was out there, I felt safer.I stayed with my sister at this place for a few days. It was a quiet stay and we enjoyed our stay here. The staff here are friendly.There is a microwave and Landry/dryer room near the check-in office. Not many hotels have security guards, which surprised me that this place did have one. It is very reassuring to see the security guard there every night patrolling. There are a few fast food restaurants and a shopping center and convenient places close by this location. Overall I had a good experience here and will be coming back again in the future.

The goods--the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the AC in the three rooms that Ive been in work well. The bads the cable TV needs to be improved, the water pressure in the showers could use some improvement, the noise from the 101 freeway is to noticeable in some of the rooms. Other than that the rooms are competitive in pricing still a little too high for some of the rooms, good enough for three stars I appreciate the stuff they do a good job at each of their positions.

Very happy with our experience here! We checked in around 1am and there was a security guard watching over the place. He was nice and professional and led us to the check in office. Check in was quick and easy.The parking spaces are very small so it caused a lot of larger vehicles to feel like they needed to take up two spots. Luckily there seems to be extra parking so despite the hotel being fully booked the night we stayed, there were a handful of safe spots still open at 1am.The room was clean and well kept. TV has basic channels. There was a (looooud) mini fridge which I wasnt expecting so that was a nice surprise. Overall its a great little find.

I stayed at Good Nite Inn last year and it was decent even with construction/renovation work going on. This time around I woke up to profuse itching caused by bed bug bites. My room was quickly changed and I was appreciative for the swift response. The 2nd room had a very strong odor or urine, I’m guessing someone had a pet in there, I didn’t notice immediately, because my daughter was sleep when we were changing rooms but it was a continuous annoyance and I didn’t feel like changing again as I was supposed to be relaxing after an extremely trying week. Then I went to wash, I’d already loaded money onto the app, and realized the only working washer takes change only, no change machine and the employee at the front said they’re not supposed to give change but changed enough to wash a load. When I went to dry my clothes the app wouldn’t work, forcing me to request more change from an already reluctant employee as it’s clear they’re instructed not to give change. Getting a change machine would allow you to better serve guests, carpet cleaning should be done regularly and hopefully you’re already on the bed bug remediation.

Overall was a very nice stay. Rooms were kept nice and tidy. Other tenants were respectful and mindful of neighboring guests. Although the rooms were very basic (the cheapest room option, being that this stay was work related) they had rather comfy beds, clean toilets and showers, a nice to and clean fridge. The upkeep and condition of the rooms on the premisis is that of a 4 star or better! It was a quiet environment and they also had a clean and nice pool. Good location as well (in terms of services and shopping locations for personals and/or food being, literally, just a 4 minute walk down the street to a grocery and shopping plaza) I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking in this area. The only reason I give a 4 star rating was because although we booked in advance ( our boss phoned in) when we arrived to check in, they didnt have a room available so we were forced to wait almost 2 hours until they had us setup. Strange, as we clearly saw numerous vacant rooms.. Nevertheless the staff was at least polite and we ultimately had a great stay!

Front desk staff was friendly and professional, no questions asked to get another key card when we locked ourselves out of the room. Easy access to other Calabasas locations and the 101 Freeway. Parking was super tight, pickup trucks I observed barely fit in the parking spaces. Front desk informed us that the parking lot would get full in the evening and we could park next door in the vacant Harbor Freight Tools offices next door, and provided a parking pass. Sunday @ 10:50 pm March 12, 2023.As a registered guest, I called the front desk to see about adding on another 2 days; a total of 7 days.The young man who answered the phone was so abusive and talked down to me. I asked him not to talk to me like he was, talking over me and raising his voice, and he said no he had to explain to me the situation of no rooms available and that he and Regina, a manager, could not make a room appear out of the air for me.I asked him 8 times to stop, please stop and he refused. Please Stop, Please Stop I said over and over. He demanded that I must listen to him and he kept raising his voice. I said no, I do not need to listen to his abuse and I said good bye and hung up.I called the front desk again at 11:20pm and another young man named Jacob answered.I asked him who the other young man employee co-worker was and he did not know his name. Huh? He said he was working by himself. Ok. Who did you replace? He did not know his name. Hmmm. I thought it was Alex. Ummm I don’t know he said. Ok I said, I will ask Regina in the morning and tell her what my conversation was and she will know who was working at 11:50 pm. Uh yea I guess she would know, Jacob said and uh yea I think it was Alex. He knew who it was. He may have heard the conversation. Regardless, telling me he did not know his co-worker only tells me he is a liar. Not a good employee to have in my opinion.What is going on with these young employees? Unbelievable disrespectful customer service.So Customers beware of Alex. He will verbally abuse you. He can say whatever he wants with no fear of his actions having consequences. Night employee was very rude to our friends we brought. We had three rooms. We had our key, but we had to pick up parking pass, they were soo rude and refused to give it to us. We didnt even get it. We endded up parking down the street. My friend suffers from ms and was treated as a Transient and pushed away. Stayed here for two weeks (paid $1250). I was at work most of the time, and when I was in my room, I was very quiet. I had my do not disturb sign on the entire two weeks I was there.I didnt want to bother anyone, and just stayed to myself. Apparently, Good Nite Inn Malibu/Calabasas has a strict last wash/last dry policy for their laundry. I didnt notice the sign. When I approached the security guard (who wasnt doing anything by the way) and explained that my laundry was still in the wash, he unlocked the door and then pointed to the sign that notified when the last wash of the night was and said See that sign? You gotta follow the rules man and walked away. When I brought the issue up to the associate working behind the desk (also just standing there) he backed up the security guard and was incredibly rude about their last wash/last dry policy. I really had a nice stay up until then. I am so sorry I made the security guard do a little extra work. Ill never stay at this hotel again, The customer service is terrible. The staff is very rude, no matter how long you stay or how much money you pay. DO NOT STAY AT THE GOOD NITE INN CALABASSAS/MALIBU.

This hotel posts that it welcomes service dogs however the manager, Greg, locked me out of my room at 11pm and threatened to kick me out of the hotel because of my service dog — mind you I’m 34 weeks pregnant. I also found out he snooped around my room earlier in the day and was taking photos. The cleaning ladies also leave their carts in the middle of the hallways making it impossible for a pregnant lady to maneuver around - or anyone with a wheel chair or luggage for that matter. I brought this up to the manager and he basically gave me a “not my problem” attitude. The best part of all this is be permanently banned me from the hotel FOR LIFE lol because of my service dog. You would have thought I had a rock star party to be chucked out like that but NO - the bottom line is they are not keen to host people to have disabilities, a service dog or who are pregnant. I booked my stay here because of a gas leak in my house and it ended up being a total nightmare and beyond stressful. I cannot wrap my head around how poorly we were treated by what’s supposed to be a manager. I ended up having to book my service dog into daycare while scrambling for a last min hotel accommodation elsewhere. As for facilities - parking is a nightmare, there’s construction, poor customer service, uncomfortable beds with the cheapest linens/pillows imaginable and no fresh air in the rooms. Would not recommend. Oh and save your time calling corporate - the “I don’t care” attitude trickles down from the top. Probably the worst customer service you’ll come by in hospitality. Finally, other guests were complaining about roaches and bed bugs - so I would take that in consideration before booking.

Usually I have an okay time here. I keep to myself, I’m quiet, I stay a few days for work, then leave. This time I did not. The manager decided to come rap on my door the day before I’m leaving and DEMANDED to come in and look at my room. I told her I didn’t need service in my room and all I’ve got in here is a few shirts on the floor, and a trash can with some trash in it (bag of chips on the floor near it). She comes into the room all the way, says I have to let her cleaning person come in to see the bathroom, then wouldn’t leave and starts POINTING OUT THINGS IN MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS that she thinks I need to move and said I have to take my own trash out. It’s literally a tiny trash can with a couple boxes/packages in it from food that is empty. Also, a creepy guy called my room from another room saying he’d been watching me for days and that I was “beautiful”. I will NOT be staying here again and I’ve stayed here over 15 times this year for work. The woman who said she’s the manager can thank herself for that one. I’ve never seen her before today and she has TERRIBLE boundaries and customer service skills. The room itself and the helpfulness of the clerk was great. There was a slight wait while my reservation was located, dispute having a reservation number and online reciept. The only problem was after my stay. My mother forgot her wifi extender, that was plugged in out of view, between the window and bed. When i called the clerk checked the ledger of my last day. Our reservation was lost and instead of trying to accommodate us, they were completely rude (if I wasnt so exhausted, I would have left immediately), they charged us $50 more than we were originally going to pay because an event that weekend. The place is not fantastic, but it is cheap. The room we had was a single Queen and was pretty small. There is a fridge but no coffee machine or anything. The room was non smoking but smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The walls are also quite thin and you can here what is happening outside. Best to bring earplugs or a white noise machine like we did. Rooms werent cleaned regularly, even when we asked them to be. Beds are tough, and creaky. Our fridge froze everything and made really loud noises, garbages werent cleared regularly, doors were being slammed at all times of the day (staff was trying to fix the door, slamming it ALL day, even after 9pm - after we asked them to stop.) Overall, not a great experience.Edit: since we left, the place had burned down from the wildfires in California. I hope this gives them a chance to rebuild bigger and better.

This was a great spot for a quick stay on our way to San Diego. Calabasas does not have a ton of hotels, and it definitely is a higher end area. With Good Nite Inn being quite reasonably priced, we werent sure what we were getting into but we were pleasantly surprised! Some great food close by, and a clean and relatively quiet area. Overall happy with our stay and would stay again!

The biggest issues were poor lighting in the room and there was no iron or ironing board in the room but you could request to borrow them from the front desk. Parking spots were extremely narrow and most people did not park well. Overall though it was hard to beat for price in the area.

Its a cheap place for a quick over nighter. Ive stayed here twice now and both experiences have been the same. The first time was decent. The second time has been an interesting experience. Ive tried to get in contact with them multiple times about the room and Ive been put on hold for an extended period of time. I call back and the phone just rings out forever. I call back again and get hung up on. Its been a chore just to get into contact with them....Also, the jacuzzi has been filled in with a palm tree.

Great little place to stay the night, My girlfriend and I stayed the night after a concert. We checked in very fast, got in the room, turn on the AC, and manage to take a nap even with the freeway right across the parking lot. Ice machine was near by so we didnt have to go to the front office. Room, sink area, and bathroom were clean. TV was a little small but we didnt really watch that much TV. Having the Supermarket and all the fast food place near by helped a lot. Check out the following day was fast and easy. Great experience at a more affordable price than most of the other places near by.

(Attention Bed Bugs!!!) I stayed in this hotel just because it was cheap and I wanted to spent some time away from the city with a friend visiting me. It was decent at first till the moment I felt something biting me and when I looked on the top of my bed there was an adult bed bug. It was 1am so I immediately contacted front desk, they came, acknowledged the bed bag and apologized since it was 1am I just agreed to move to another room till the morning. Of course after finding it I was not interested in staying in the hotel for the second night, since I was scared to bring them home. The most amazing was the reaction of the front desk, two employees were rude. At first front desk was ignoring me than, they just told me to call the manager who was off till Monday. The stuff seemed to be aware of the problem and mainly was concerned with what I did with a bed bug that I caught. After an hour I succeeded to get a refund for the second night. Idk maybe im being dramatic but I dont think its normal to get bitten by the bed bug and than be ignored by the employees who are completely aware of this problem. Dont recommend anyone staying in this hotel unless you are okay to get bitten, especially be careful if you get room 221 because nobody is going to take care of the problem.

Clean, well maintained, mostly quiet and easy to find parking. Its not anything fancy but the price reflects the no frills atmosphere.

This place was okay. Room smelled funny. I saw a spider on the bed. Other than that, it was alright. Definitely has a mediocre motel vibe. Staff was really friendly, and the area was quiet.

You have to install power outlets in few places so people wont have problems with recharging smartphones. Board above bed is broken so it could fall on you during sleep. No breakfast.P.S. Just read about fleas and bed bugs. Consider myself to be lucky. 😉

I basically just needed the hotel for a place to sleep. The bed was fine, and the receptionist was friendly. There was no breakfast offered and no gym but I cant complain considering what we paid.

My girlfriend and I rented a room here this past weekend, August 15th. We had planned a trip to Palm Springs but due to the hot weather we made some last minute adjustments and decided to go to Malibu. We booked a room at the Good Nite Inn in Calabasas thinking that we were going to have a decent one nights stay but we thought wrong! We were assigned Room #176 downstairs toward the left side of the lobby if youre facing the lobby. Upon entering the room it seemed to be just okay. Nothing great and nothing like a Motel 6 either, but it might as well be named Motel 8 or something along those lines.The edges all along the walls of the room were extremely DUSTY and dirty. You can clearly see the white coating of god knows whatever is on there all along. Whatever, we went on with our day and left the room at around 4:30 PM to visit the Malibu Cafe. We got back to our room at around 9 PM.We were laying in bed by 10 PM when I felt something that felt like a hair on my left arm. I looked down and it was a small translucent- Yellowish-Clearish bug. I immediately tried to smack it and kill it but the bug jumped or seem to have gotten away. I tried to find it on the pillows and on the cover sheet but I had no luck. My second thought was to Google what bed bugs look like. After reading I came to the conclusion that it definitely was a bed bug. Worried that I would get bit or attacked by the bugs, My girlfriend and I decided to check out, yes CHECK OUT at 10:30PM. Would you want to still fall asleep on that bed after what I just experienced? Absolutely NOT!We walked to the front desk, we were greeted by DeeDee, she was kind and polite. We explained to her that we were checking out and the reason why we were checking out. She asked me if we wanted to file an incident report and we went ahead and filed it. She informed us of what was to happen within the next few days. She said Room #176 will be inspected and video taped and if they find any bed bugs in the room we would be able to get our $124.00 back. At this point I was way more concerned to inform them of this than to get my money back. I was more worried and hoping i did not get bitten by the bug. We checked out, and we were on our way back to the OC, back to OUR bed that doesnt have bed bugs!Do not stay here, It is worth it to stay else where like in Malibu and pay the difference for a 4 or 5 star Resort/Hotel. I will never ever stay here again and I hope my review brings some attention to other potential renters.

Desk gave me a hassle claiming my id flagged their system from a stay in 2019 where someone smoked in the room. i had NEVER even been to california before this trip in feb 2021. would not stay again due to the accusatory attitude i got FOR NO REASON. didnt even get an apology just a rude attitude even after i explained i had never been there before

Very clean room! A little chilly but the room had a great heater. Definitely recommend!
