Good Green was professional and responsive from the first phone call. And the team: Jonathan, Eric, Miguel, Saul, Clifton, and Aurelio couldnt have been friendlier, more helpful, or easy to work with. I had planned to stay home all day during the packing and moving to monitor their work but after 20 minutes I realized I could trust them 100%. They labeled and inventoried every single item, treated my property with care and respect, and made the move a calming experience. And they continue to be helpful and responsive with follow-up questions. I highly recommend them.

10/10 would recommend this company for your move. From start to finish, these guys were professional, thorough, and friendly. Great care with each and everyone of our items, including being super mindful of protecting services and corners in the homes we were moving in/out of.We’ve used this company twice and won’t hesitate to use again and recommend to anyone in need of a moving company.In addition to being a great moving company, they are also super mindful about their environmental footprint. They loan reusable moving boxes which they will drop off and pick up at no additional charge!We love Good Green movers! My friends and family have used Good Green a few times over the last couple years, we always recommend them to everyone we know who is moving! They are family owned company who offer 2 free months of storage. Offer free green reusable plastic bins for packing that help reduce the cost of moving as well as the carbon footprint! We had a great experience with our move thanks to Good Green Moving. I love the crates and not having to worry about collecting boxes. My learning from the experience is to get more crates than you think you will need and just put EVERYTHING in them. Because moving those crates was so fast, but moving all the little things and smaller items not in crates took a lot of time. So that’s my tip for others.But the team was awesome - super friendly and professional. And booking was also a breeze. Thanks again!

My company has used Good Green Moving on several occasions for large and small moves. The team on the ground and behind the scenes are always so kind and courteous. For our most recent service, the team consisted of Johnathan (the owner), Eric, Edgar, Aurelio and, Jorge B, all of whom were great to work with. We had a bad taste from the previous local moving experience. So we were skeptical at first. However, we were surprised first how easy to schedule the move around the holidays and also making last minute change. Eric was great handling the logistic in the back end. We got free supplied green bins couple weeks in advance so we can start packing the small items ourselves. The movers Shawn and Vinny arrived on time, and they did a great job getting bulky furniture through difficult corners, stairs, and elevator without damages. The items were wrapped nicely transporting through the rain. They were courteous and responsive to our needs. Finally, the price was also competitive. I highly recommend them for your move.

I scheduled last minute and I was quoted fairly and scheduled without issue right away. Everyone from the owner to their team leads kept in great contact thru text and e-mail. Punctual. Priced very fair. I loved everything except being asked to write a review when I was scheduled and not at the end of business. Good Green is great. Would Recommend.

We used Good Green moving services and storage when we sold our house and purchased a new one a few months later. My review focuses on our most recent experience when our household possessions were moved from Good Green storage to our new home.Good Green is a family run company and we got a sense that the people who helped us were all treated like family. Jonathan and Anna Maria provided assistance upfront, gave us an estimate of the moving cost and they were both responsive to our questions and requests. Eric, Good Green’s new warehouse/area manager was awesome. He made sure the delivery was on time and within budget, despite dropping off a few items a mile away to my sisters’ place. He was also very responsive and always followed through.Shout out to the moving team: Edgar, Hector, Jose, Charles, Miguel, Gary and Jorge!!! They arrived on time, protected our hardwood floors, walls, etc. Handled everything with care and with a smile! Edgar was a great lead and showed that he cared for his team, ensuring they do not get injured. They were also very helpful. We changed our minds on where a couple of pieces of furniture were to be placed and they very graciously moved those pieces for us.During the move, we noticed that some of our outdoor furniture was inadvertently left in storage. Edgar made sure the items were listed as missing on the freight bill we signed so they could be located and delivered. Eric was informed and he made sure the items were found. The following day they were located all in one vault; delivered the next morning first thing by Rory and Hector. Again, both were very efficient, careful, courteous and helpful!On the day of our move, there were missing post inserts for our garage shelving. Eric and Anna Maria offered to replace them and have someone come back and re-install our shelving! Yesterday, Edgar, Krishan and Salinas made a special trip to come back back and do just that. This truly demonstrates their great customer service and professionalism!Thank you, Good Green!

I am so pleased with the crew that came (Sean, Derrick and Charles). They were really careful carrying boxes and large items out of one home and into the next. I just renovated a home, and the last thing I wanted was damage to the walls. They did not make a single scratch. They also had a great can-do spirit and worked out how to get bulkier items like exercise equipment into the home. I am really grateful these guys showed up, all of them super professional.The owner Jonathan also had been very understanding of our renovation delays and rescheduled our moving day multiple times. I appreciated the chance to pack up over time using the green boxes. Great way to do a local move!

They should offer zero stars - I confirmed and signed a contract Monday 11/6 for a move already booked for Friday 11/10 at 10am with Jonathan the owner - they helped us move in 2022 from San Rafael to Petaluma and were amazing - however no one showed up Friday 11/10 and at 10:20 I left a voicemail and email - I got a call back from the warehouse department saying we werent on the schedule and can we change it to Saturday 11/11 - I asked if we could somehow still move on Friday and they said they would try - they got back to me and said they can send a partner company at 1pm - we had already placed our dogs in daycare and had a helper scheduled for 1pm - we had to cancel our helper and take car loads down ourselves while waiting for t he 1pm arrival - the partner company arrived after 1 - it was a new partner company new rates - no financial consideration for the stress, grief and inconvenience and not even an apology phone call - like the partner company said they had nothing to do with the original deal they were just helping us out - I will NEVER use this company again

Consultation was easy. They were flexible and accomodating with our changes in time frame (contractor issues). They showed up on time. Nothing got damaged in the move. We had fun meeting and talking to the crew. I appreciate they offer the option of reusable moving boxes to reduce waste and disposal hassle. We paid just a bit more than expected but, with no experience using movers before, we are glad we did. We appreciate finding and supporting a cool and local Petaluma business. We moved cross country from a 4000 sq ft house and decided to move ourselves. We hired Good Green Moving to pack and load our rental truck. Jonathan did a great job in assessing and addressing all our moving needs. Matthew and his crew couldnt have done a more professional job in packing. They worked nonstop until the job was completed. The next day, Rob and his crew packed a 26 ft truck, a 12 ft trailer and a car carrier for us. They did an amazing job in making sure all of our belongings were protected for the cross country drive. Both crews were enjoyable to work with and extremely hard working. We couldnt have been happier. We highly recommend Good Green Moving to anyone planning a move.

EXCELLENT. Needed someone immediately (family moving issue) and Jonathan was recommended by another mover who couldnt meet my timeframe. Turns out they had a crew in the same town I needed and were available in less than 1 hour! they picked up furniture previously consigned, and brought it to another location. all went smoothly and without issue. they were also super nice! the company kept in touch along the way. I contacted good green moving company a few days ago. i am in the midst of a move due to a fire and from the first interaction with eric, i knew i had found the right movers to help. the initial call with eric, who was such a kind, empathetic, clearly competent professional to the telephone appointment with jonathan, (another kind, considerate, compassionate soul) i had a contract within an hour and couldnt feel like im in better hands. some words id use to describe my experience with them so far are exceptional, courteous, professional, exacting, compassionate, stellar professionals who clearly care about what they are doing and how their company works. as a 56 year single woman handling this on my own, i cant tell you how much it means to feel like i can take a breathe and know that i am in the best hands possible to help me. thank you doesnt say enough. cant recommend good green moving company more !! enormous gratitude to you all ~

I had a really great experience moving with Good Green Moving- the customer service was awesome, the guys that helped me move (Ed and Christopher) were on time and had such great attitudes, and the green boxes (totes) that they provided were amazing. I love that we saved some cardboard by using plastic boxes and the drop off and pick up of the totes made everything so easy. Will definitely be using Good Green for my next move!

Jonathan takes extra care not only on making sure the job goes well, but also on making sure the client feels comfortable with the process. Good yes, but not 5 stars for Good Green MovingWhat seemed to make a stressful, demanding chore of moving easier with Good Green Moving was not fully realized.The Good: The team was ontime and exhibited a positive attitude thorughout the day. They were not phased by questions, moving item requests, or the amount of stuff to move.-Nothing was broken, and no home damagesThe Bad: A mixup with long-term storage. As the customer I was told Good Green Moving would provide long-term storage. The moving team did not get this notice. Hence no specific tagging was done for items to go into storage.-Many labeled boxes did not land in rooms at the new location as marked.-Moving trucks left grease on drivewaysThe Ugly: I was charged 50%! more than the estimate and still have not been able to speak with anyone about this.-They solved the long-term storage mixup but I have not heard anything about my stuff being tagged, logged and stored as promised.-After a 8days still no return phone call to discuss any aspects of the move.

I just did a move with this company from Concord to Novato, Ca. I can not say enough about the 3 young men who worked so hard and efficiently. Buyer be ware, I do not write reviews often. I really just do not want anyone else to get put in the situation that this owner did to my family. If you plan on doing any business with them and have any questions, let me know and I can point in in his contract where he can really get you. The owner will tell you one thing and bill you another (knowing he has your goods hostage and you have no recourse, unfortunately this apparently happens a lot with long distance moves as i have now learned). Filed a complaint with federal Bureau of movers and interstate commerce. He knew the max price I had to spend, took possession of all my goods with no mention he would anticipate a higher cost. Then once he had possession of all my property (and I was already on the other side of the county) demanded an additional $24k!! He then threatened my wife into signing another contact or he would not deliver our stuff (a woman with a newborn baby to be left in the freezing northeast with no furniture or baby supplies...great guy). Meanless to say you need to have a lawyer review any contact with this guy, as the language in it basically says it does not matter what he tells you...or even what it says but whatever he decides the new price is what goes...I did not think I needed a lawyer to review in depth...thought I could trust him...boy was I wrong. If you have any questions let me know...it is really sad that there are people like this that take advantage of others.
