Nothing is fresh. Meat smells like dead animals. They have dead fish rotting in the tank. Vegetables is probably below average. Don’t waste your time.

Terrible experience with this supermarket. I just bought two pack of dessert today and it comes like this cracking and broken, it most likely been melted and frozen back. I tried to come back for return but the employee would not admit this is their fault. Really hope the manager can see this.

I bought a watermelon before yesterday and it was totally rotten inside.I came back today and their front desks with no problems to help me exchange or return after they saw photos.It is really good customer service, I count as store credit and used it in store.If they can improve the quality and avoid making customers back and forth waste time, I will update the last star.Thank you.

This is a great store. Im not quite sure why there are duplicate listings for the same location. It is clean, bright, well stocked and staffed with friendly, helpful people.Prices are good, nice selection, butcher, seafood tanks, lots of produce and several aisles offering traditional Korean products. Beer, wine and alcohol too.I enjoyed my trip here and would definitely come back. I made the best pho ever from the fresh ingredients I got at this market.

Much cleaner and more organized than most Asian supermarkets. Produce seems more fresh and bigger selection as well. Price is similar to the rest, but can have pretty amazing sales on certain types of produce.

You closed at 840. When doors shouldnt be closed until 850. I went in and your security guard was rude and told me Everyone wants to go home now, yes we close at 9pm but we are closing now. Not okay. Unprofessional and definitely not hospitality filled. Do not recommend. Whoever was running your night shift security 1) rude 2) Unprofessional 3) immediately aggressive and hostile

This market offers a nice produce section and a good fresh seafood counter. They have a lot of delicious food and snacks. The only downside is that things sell out pretty fast and some popular items take a long time to come back in stock, or they dont come back at all.

This supermarket has a wide variety of Chinese and Asian groceries. Theres a section just for Pho spices and another section with various ingredients to make your own Dim Sum dishes. They have a wide selection of meat and produce you wouldnt find anywhere else.

I don’t understand how can your staff attitude/ service be so horrible. It’s like their life is not going well and they need to take it out onto the customers.I came in to grocery shop with my dad, he was paying at the cashier and asked me to go buy some lottery tickets. I went to the lottery ticket counter, the cashier there was chitchatting with other cashiers. I wait for a few minutes, and one cashier came to me and started speaking Chinese to me. I said Idk… She took my cash and went over to a machine, she put the money into the machine and left. Meanwhile she kept accusing me of something. I said: dont talk to me like that. She started screaming something at me in Chinese.I ended up having to figure out how to use the machine myself because she put my money into the machine and just left.On my way out, she was standing right by the door. I told her: you are not supposed to treat people like that. Thats not nice. She started screaming with a fist, saying: She’s busy! She can’t help you! It’s faster! It’s faster! You dont listen! It’s faster!This is literally so ridiculous.

I have visited this place for many years regardless of what people have said, during their ups and down, however today, I went to go purchase crabs to eat for dinner and for the 2 parties in front they allowed them to choose any crab they wished giving them massive crabs. During my turn I requested for 4 crabs of my choosing their workers would start yelling at me in chinese or spanish, shouting never and refusing to reach a consensus leaving a truly disgusting feeling before I walked out. I will never be coming back here again. After this incident, I visited Arcadia supermarket, which is located on the same street and a much greater alternative.

Im always able to find what I need to make new Asian recipes. The produce is always very fresh. Such a large variety of produce from many other countries. The fish and seafood department is wonderful. Such an assortment of fresh and live fish and seafood. This market is very well stocked with so many foods usually not found in other markets. The huge assortment of Sake is awesome. The market is always very clean and the shelves are neatly kept at all times. The associates are always very helpful and courteous. Excellent market.

I have noticed that several cashiers at this market have absolutely abhorrent attitude. Moreover, those cashiers will often intentionally ignore you and not acknowledge your presence during checkout.This market is generally pricier than other Asian markets. I wouldnt buy meats or seafood at this place.

This is an amazing Asian grocery store. Their fresh fish is the largest selection I have ever seen. They also have live fish, clams and conch in tanks. I have found the quality and cost of their produce very competitive. Also, you have an option on frozen duck and quail. Parking is free and in a strip mall. I highly recommend this establishment.

It was our good fortune to stumble across this fantastic Asian market.The store is clean, neat, organized, and packed to the brim. The produce is a limited in some ways but extensive in others. There is a tone of options when it come the dry goods though.The staff are friendly and will direct you to what you are looking for is you ask, you may have to as well because this store is packed with wonderful things.

The guy works at shrimp department is extremely rude. I spoke to him in both English and Chinese however seems like he couldnt understand what I was trying to tell him in either languages. He was very inpatient, raises up his voice and shouted at me as he couldnt understand.Early in the morning while there was no one waiting in line, I dont know what makes him so inpatient, he doesnt have to be rude and mean when he cant understand.With this kind attitude, I would be very hesitate to visit the store, the management definitely need to be made aware of this incident. Very poor attitude and rude.

Generally a good supermarket for south east asian groceries and produce. Will have common products such as milk, peanut butter, and others but likely limited to what you might expect at a Vons. All items are neatly placed ans orderly. Store is very clean. Most products seemed to be competitively priced. The market can get very busy on Friday-Sunday. Parking lot is average, bit on the smaller size as the plaza shares the lot with many other restaurants and a laundry mat. Best time to go, in my experience, is 11-2 Tuesday-Thursday.

Good fortune is a decent Chinese grocery store. Their produce is fresh and they have a good variety. They also have a decent stock of dry goods. Their freezer section is not very big and doesnt carry some of things I want. And Im not big on their meat or fish selection. Id rather go elsewhere for those items.

You get your basic Asian staples. Their produce is average at best and a bit overpriced compared to other Asian markets. Chicken, pork, beef, and seafood are ok, if you get their more expensive grade, and they have some good weekly specials every now and then. The caveat is that they have monopoly in that particular area and I guess they take advantage of that fact. The grocery selection is nowhere near to what youd get in places like 168, H-Mart or Ranch 99, but then again, its the convenience youre going for here, especially if you happen to live in Monrovia/Duarte area. Prices at checkout sometimes scan higher than whats on the shelves. So keep your eyes open if you dont want to be overcharged.

This Asian super market has low employee training and management.For over 2 years, I often encounter a cashier who has arrogant attitude (for what?) and treats customers like burdens. For example, she never packs the scanned goods for customers, even starts to scan goods for the next customer and push former customer’s goods around to make space, when the former customer is packing goods by herself/himself.Yesterday when I asked her about using phone to do payment, she replied with a poker face:”I don’t know. Some people can, some people can’t.”It’s such a basic knowledge that a cashier should have: what kinds of payments do you accept?I don’t understand why the management doesn’t do anything to make it right. I believe someone has noticed this for a long time.

Open in 2013, been the first Asian Supermarket in this neighborhood. A little pricey but save the trip. Staff attitude is bad, no thank you and smile. Although they label themselves accept credit card, they set a threshold of it as they prefer cash. Just saw a customer in front of me with receipt claim something charge wrong on her last visit. They have all the fresh vegetables, meat and fish at low price. This is my dream come true supermarket as I love cooking Asian cuisines. I come here regularly to buy and taste their products. I use my Google phone to translate the things I need to Chinese and show it to those shopkeepers who have difficulty with English. Thanks to Google translate. I bought the 2 pounds live snails at 9.99 a pound. Shells were closed showing they were alive. However when I cooked them in water a HORRIBLE Chemical Smell spread thru the kitchen. I took a sample snail meat out and it smelled toxic. My husband and son said somethings wrong. Don’t eat. The return policy is just 2 hours and we bought it at 6pm but prepared it at 8pm after rinsing with lots of fresh water. The store closes at 9pm.Very Disappointing.WILL NOT GO BACK AGAIN😡😡😡😡😡

Incredibly horrible service by the female staff at the pharmacy section who speaks Shanghaiese. She was unbelievably rude and simply not doing her job at all - she kept looking at her phone and video chatting in Shanghainese while at work, walked past customers as if they were air to her, and YELLED loudly at the customers. Live seafood here is always fresher and cheaper than most Asian supermarket such as 168/99ranch/GW/hmart. Live fish here does not have the earthy/dirt like taste. They let the fish and most live seafood starve for couple days to reduce dirt taste or sand. Parking is not too bad on the weekend. Their weekly sale/offer is not posted online. Their asian products is not as diverse as 99ranch but their price is cheaper for most item.

This is a Chinese grocery store (if you like labels) and I seldom see another caucasian also shopping inside when I am. The areas population majority are Chinese, but not 90%.If you only like the packaged and processed products like Oreos, or Fruit Loops, or CheeseWiz, you should stick to Ralphs/Albertsons. But if you like a larger variety of fruits, vegetables, live/fresh seafood or sushi, and pay about 30% less than the Krogers, I highly recommend you check this place out.For those who cant stand the small of raw fish, dont go inside, or if you do just stay away from the very back wall.

Shop here for most of my Asian cooking needs. I like the way they sell their vegetables which have been prepacked in plastic bags. No need to fuzz with picking the veggie and put it in a plastic bags. Unlike other Asian markets, this one has everything I need to cook a wide spectrum of Asian cuisines. I can find lemon grass, Thai basil, tamarinds Au earth, Japanese sake, and most herds. Besides veggies and herds, I can also find fresh seafoods here too. Seafoods are kept in water tanks. Right now fresh dungeons crab is for only $9 a pound and lobster is for $12 a pound. One thing I came here for the most is the fresh rice noodle. Whenever I am craving for fried noodle, I would come here to buy a pack of fresh noodle and a bag of Brean sprout to take home for cooking an authentic Chinese chow fen.
