Good Day is amazing! Tanner is an incredible barber. POC this barber is for you, he will have you walking out the shop feeling real nice.Seems like he can do it all! Just moved to the area and was worried I wouldn’t find someone who could cut me the way I like, turns out, he is better than what Ive had in the Bay Area and Hawaii where I’ve move from.He is getting busy and can totally understand why!

I could not speak more highly of Tanner at Good Day Barbershop! My son had long hair and requested a drastic cut; completely changing his “look.” Tanner took his time, made sure my son was comfortable (as he watched his locks fall to the floor).. he lined him up so nicely, took detailed time, and gave him a BEAUTIFUL Burst Fade! My teenager is ecstatic, and he does not impress easily tbh.. You can tell Tanner takes his art very seriously, and he makes absolutely sure his customers are happy! He is definitely an expert in his craft. Professional and genuine. A GEM in Grass Valley for sure!

I first discovered this place on Instagram. I’ve been searching for a Barber who can do a skin fade on my son. After trying several places, I had given up and was cutting his hair myself (to be fair, I was a Hairdresser for 20 years but fades were not my specialty…). So, when I saw that Tanner offered skin fades as one of his services on his website, I was hopeful! Last-minute, I booked an appointment yesterday and took my son in. YAY! Tanner did a GREAT job!! We will definitely be going back! And, BONUS, Mabel the shop dog is the sweetest greeter when you come through the door.

Had my first cut with Tanner the other day and I’ve found my new barber. It’s tough changing to a new person to cut your hair but after a few good questions and some photos he went to work and with his experience it came out great. Shop had an awesome vibe to it, and with ample parking it’s an easy stop for your appointment. Check ‘em out!

Wanted to post this sooner, but havent had the time. I had never been to a barbershop before and I wanted to go to one! I did a lot of research in to which one i wanted to go to and I found Good Day Barbershop. I knew it was the right one, and I was not disappointed. I got my hair cut by the owner, Tanner, and he went above and beyond my expectations. I have never been happier with a haircut in my life. So much attention to detail, so much talent and so much skill.The atmosphere was warm professional and inviting and I felt very welcomed upon coming in to the shop. I will definitely be getting my hair cut there from now on. Long story short, I genuinely enjoyed my experience and if you are looking for a barber to go to? I will recommend Good Day Barbershop 10 out of 10 every single time😊😁💜

Good Day Barbershop is a work of passion and Love by its owner Tanner. He is young but boy is he talented.i have received hair cuts in this town for 5 years and after all my experience at other shops I continue to find myself in his chair looking fresh and having a Good Day.He takes his time and his attention to detail makes you feel like youve gotten the royal treatment. Hot foam and straight razor finish as well as a beautiful, open, bright and plant filled space makes for the best haircut experience in Nevada County. 5/5 Stars.

Tanner cut my hair and groomed my beard for my wedding band in late September. Not only did he listen to what I wanted, but he gave me fantastic suggestions, and made my hair and beard look fantastic for the most important day of my life (beside the birth of my son!). I have been searching for a good barber in the area for entire 10+ years Ive lived here. After finding Tanner about 4 months ago its safe to say my search is over. The care and quality of his workmanship is evident from his approach and demeanor. You can feel the skill as he works. To be supporting a local who is establishing his own unique business in our community makes it all the more worthwhile for me. Found Tanner a couple of months ago after my not so pleasant times at Lather and Steel(they gave me a second hard part). Tanner has been nothing but professional and super personable. His haircuts and beard details are flawless. His attention to detail is impeccable and he will never give you anything but a top notch, quality haircut. I will not be going to anyone else as long as I live in Northern California. I drive from Yuba City just to have him cut my hair and beard. Check him out you won’t be disappointed.

Got my haircut and it was indeed a good day. Tanner’s a pro. Came in with a mop of hair and 2 relatively vague reference pics and tanner got me so right. My gf can’t stop commenting on how sexy/handsome since he clipped my hair into shape. Thanks tanner! Anyone that wants a great haircut from a kind man, go to good day. Just call ahead for an appt bc the gentlemen of grass valley are gonna get wise to his expertise real quick and walk ins’ll be near impossible.
