Weve had the same tilt up wooden garage doors since the house was built in 1964. You know what they say if it aint broke dont fix it. But one of the doors started to deteriorate so it was time.I called around to some of the other more popular garage door installers as well as the ones that have the most 5 star reviews and I got quotes.I havent looked at garage door prices in a while but it was a little shocking to me especially since we had to replace a two car door as well as a single door.Golden Rule garage doors was my last quote and for everything that every other garage door company quoted, Golden Rule was way more reasonable in their pricing and one thing I really liked about meeting with Taylor is he didnt do a lot of fluff and salesy pitch kind of stuff.He was very friendly and kind and just basically said based on what I told him heres my options. I like that.The doors we had to install were custom sizes because back then they made bigger cars. LOL. So it took a little bit over two weeks and we had new garage doors installed. They look amazing and from what I can tell the installation was incredibly well done. Everything is super sturdy and clean.Three guys were here for most of the day but they were super friendly clean and polite. After it was installed they gave me a good overview of how everything worked and then they were on their way.I will be referring them to my clients in the future.

This company is excellent!!! They were Quick to respond. Bob was great as I needed a new garage door opener as my 20 yr old one died. As having owned my own company, Customer Service is a huge deal to me. Everyone was pleasant and responsive. Thank you Golden Rule Garage Door!! Jeanne

This company is outstanding! We needed a new garage door, and I met with six different company owners before I made my decision. Five companies had five-star reviews on both Google and Yelp. But there was always something -- a minor (or not so minor) detail -- that would make me think twice or hesitate. Golden Rule Garage Door was an exception. Taylor (the owner) answered my questions with honesty, suggested a few options, and offered a reasonable price. From that moment on, I have had a feeling that I am dealing with an exceptionally trustworthy and customer-oriented company. The door arrived promptly. Daniel and Mike came over to install it, and they did a great job. The same evening, I texted Taylor with a question about the rubber ribbon on the bottom of the door. He instantly called me back and made an appointment for the next morning. Before I knew it, everything looked impeccable. Thank you so much, Taylor! It has been such a pleasure to work with you!

Jeff was reliable, on time, and most importantly honest with me. So many times, I get quotes from companies that try to take advantage, but this is NOT one of those companies. I will forever use Golden Rule Garage Door. Before Jeff left, he walked me through the completion of the work and made sure I understood all the new features and parts that needed replacing. I appreciate the extra time spent and thoroughness of his work. Thank you!

From making reservations to Nick putting the finishing touches on the work he did, everything went the way all consumers want things to go. Namely, WONDERFUL! Nick installed new springs and rollers and a few other things us lay people are not familiar with. He did it quickly, professionally and all the while he was answering questions I had. You need to hire more technicians like Nick for the good of your business AND your customers. The whole experience was great! I finally have found a garage door company that I can depend on to show up on time and do great work. Thanks so much.

We have had Entry Systems out here at least 15 to 20 times to try and fix our LiftMaster gate system without any success. We decided to try this company and Nick Mendoza came out and in three minutes, solved our problem. We plan on using them for all of our needs in the future. Easy to work with with great expertise.

I was THOROUGHLY impressed when I left a voicemail after hours and received a call promptly at 8 AM the next morning regarding a repair for our garage spring that had snapped. We were given an accurate 2 hour window and did receive a Courtesy call 30 minutes in advance.We went less than 24 hours with a broken garage, and we were so pleased with how friendly and helpful the gentleman helping us was we will certainly be using them again, and will be referring our friends to them as well.

Taylor and his crew of Jeff and Bob showed up on time to replace our garage door opener and bottom trim. They were highly professional and courteous. All around good guys! They installed the new opener and took the old one away. Also programmed my car with the opener code and installed a new keypad. Cost was very reasonable. This is a local small business, not a nationwide corporation, which is a big plus for me to support members of my community.

Jeff and Taylor are courteous, knowledgeable and professional. The spring on our door broke and they provided prompt service with excellent communication and old fashioned customer service. I’d highly recommend Golden Rule if your garage doors need service.

Golden Rule garage door was great! Jeff came out within 45 minutes on the same day I called to replace my springs and I didn’t call until around 3:00 in the afternoon. He did the repair within the 30 minutes he estimated and it now works great again. I would definitely recommend them!!
