Dr Masuyama is very kind and knowledgeable optometrist. She explains information that her patients can understand and relate to. Dr. Masuyama cares about her patients and the visits never feel rush. I trust her expertise in this field, also all the office staff are kind and helpful. They too need to be recognized for being professional!

Everyone from the check in, Dr. and sales were all professional and explained everything in detail. I really liked how Dr. A treated my 7 yr daughter. She was very kind and explained everything she needed her to do in her language, so did the lady that took her others tests. I really appreciated that, as it does not happen very often.

I have been going here for over a decade and they have a lot of frames to choose from and its a very clean facility. Staff workers are respectful. And The doctors are very nice and make sure my eyes are healthy. I re updated my review from five years ago because they have improved a lot. My 2nd years coming here and I love it. Made it right on time for my appointment and the staff was nice, my wait time was about 10minutes of less. My DO was very nice and explain everything every step of the way she also compared my last eye exam to the current one which helps you understand as you age so does your eyes but in my case wasn’t much of a difference.

My visit at Golden Optometric was a very pleasing experience. When I went pick up my glasses I was welcomed and within 10 minutes I was seen by a technician who fitted my glasses and made sure they fit to my liking. I was very happy with there services.Thank you.

Excellent service all around. My family and I have been regular customers since my now grown kids were in middle school. My husband and I love the way we are cared for and treated at this location. Dr. Lee is phenomenal and my husband liked Dr. Gonzalez who we just met. The staff are always professional, courteous and accommodating. Our appts are always met with reminders and timely reception. The West Covina office is open at least six days a week with start times at 7am. Frames are reasonably priced, though more trendy selections are limited. I cant say enough about how pleased we are with this organization and thankful that their doors remained open after the devastation of the pandemic. Bless you all!

Always professional and always a great experience. On a side note, they sometimes have bundt cake samples from next door. Dr. Masuyama was great as always even with things all Covidy and the office one huge sterile field, I had a great time as one can have during an eye exam. If she could have only helped me pick a pair.UPDATE. New spectacles broke on my face while adjusting on my face. Rimless so its no surprise but that had to be defect in manufacturing. They took it to send back to repair wo question.

I’ve been coming here as a patient since 2014 and never had an issue with my care or questions. Recently had to bring one of my sons in (7y/o) and they were so patient and helpful got him all the help we needed. They explained to him all the questions he had, along with my own concerns. I was afraid we would have a hard time due to the difficulties my little one faces. But the techs and Dr. Wong were amazing we got exactly what he needed.

Staff were friendly and informative. Didn’t wait long for my appointment. Dr. Gonzales was so thorough with explaining and answering my question. I always struggle with choosing which is clearer 1 or 2 and once it even caused me getting the wrong prescription, but Dr. Gonzalez was patient with me and switched until I was sure. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend this place.

Visited Golden Optometry yesterday and it was a great visit! I was greeted by friendly staff at the front desk and the wait time to be seen was minimal. The environment was clean and the staff very professional. Martin administered some pre tests quickly and treated me with care and respect. Saw Dr. Wong, who was professional, courteous, very knowledgeable and extremely thorough. He took time to explain and answer all of my questions before escorting me to an Optician. I had the most pleasant experience with Randall, who explained my insurance and all of my options with great patience and a pleasant demeanor. My entire family visits Golden for our eye care and I highly recommend them.

I have been a member for over 20 yrs with a family of 5 at Golden Optometric in W. Covina. I experienced such horrible service from Nancy, the Manager and Juana the receptionist. When I called, I mentioned to Juana that I could not hear her and when I mentioned it the second time, she cut me off with What can I do for you so rudely. Secondly, I spoke with Nancy regarding issues I have been having with my new prescribed glasses. I indicated that since I got them in February, I had been back 4 times for the same issue and reorder my progressives as the measurements were wrong. Not to mention, Id drive from Lake Elsinore and all theyd do is adjust the temples everytime. I went to see a Professional Eye doctor yesterday as I was so desperate from the painful blisters Ive developed these past 7 months on my nose. The doctor indicated that my glasses were too small for me and was surprised that they didnt see that. So, I spoke to Nancy and she mentioned that they could not do anything for me as they would not redo the lenses. The frame that I ordered were Michael Kors and they were not cheap but I was not asking for my money back, I just want a better frame. I mentioned to Nancy that I was very disappointed and that my family and I would not be back and her response was OK.So family, friends and readers, be aware before u go spend ur money just like I did for over 20 yrs.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Ruezga and the staff at Golden Optometry. Dr. Ruezga was very professional, friendly, and showed great care towards me. Her bedside manner was amazing - she greeted me with a smile and made me feel comfortable and welcome. She helped me understand the results of my eye tests and went into detail to ensure I understood everything. I appreciated that I was able to schedule an appointment with her last minute. The optical technicians who assisted me were also very sweet and friendly, although I didnt catch their names. I didnt have to wait long for my appointment, and the whole experience took only 20 minutes, allowing me to go about my errands. I would highly recommend Golden Optometry to anyone looking for great service and care.

Ginny is a gem, very friendly with great customer service skills. She was so patient when I couldnt decide on frames and lenses, and probably took up more time than I should have, and I thank her for that. First thing this review is not directed to the employees there, they are great and really nice and attentive I have no issue with the staff there. My issue is with management and the new owners.Recently went in for my yearly check up and everything went great and fine with no issues or anything. But as soon as I wanted to order my glasses I was informed that theyre not able to order them since the size of my glasses since it isnt something they stock and they cant order that size and that Im only able to get the sizes that they have. That didnt make sense to me since I have the size I need on my current pair, but that theyd be able to switch the lenses out if I order the glasses elsewhere but I wouldnt be able to utilize my insurance if I did that. I mean thats completely unfair to the customer, Ive been going there for the past 6-8 years and every time Ive gotten a pair of glasses I havent had any issues like this. Ever since they went corperate it just been downhill.

I was referred to this office by my coworker. I will say this was a great experience for daughter and myself. Dr. Lee is professional, patient and funny. We definitely will be back next year for our yearly exam.July 2023 This is our annual check up we arrived 30 minutes early and was seen right away. The front desk staff are on point with their customer service. The technicians that helped me and my daughter were great. Once again Dr.Lee remembered and thanked us for returning for our annual check up. I ended up buying glasses and shades for my daughter and I we hope these next few weeks go by fast for our order to be ready. Highly recommend this office they have early and late appointments.

I highly recommend coming to Golden Optometric. They are open every day if the week with early hours. The staff is well trained and look after your needs; and the doctors make sure they inform you of what needs to be done and what’s best for you. They also have a wide selection of affordable glasses and nicer selection if you spurge. They tell you it can take up to two weeks for your glasses come come in and sometimes, it’s not that long.

From the moment I arrived the staff took all the precautions to ensure social distancing was practiced. I felt safe and comfortable. Everything, including the seats, was sanitized. The staff have a great system so all concerned know which exam room and station is sanitized.The doctors are always professional, personable, and knowledgeable. I always feel comfortable discussing me concerns or asking questions. I do not usually ask many questions because the doctor usually answers my questions before I have a chance to ask.Great people. They really know what they are doing. I recently moved but I refuse to change my optometrist.Finally, you cannot go wrong with the selection of glades frames. What took the longest at my visit was looking for the frames. The staff does not rush you because they want you to be happy with your choice.

I have been a loyal customer/ patient ... each year this place keeps showing how important and understanding WE are. My son didn’t have such a good experience a few years ago when he attempted to get fitted for contacts. So he became overwhelmed and frustrated and chose to wait. Yesterday, Nancy was so patient, supportive and continued to work with my son. She shared with me at one point ( after probably an hour with him), when I was extremely thankful and thanking her... she replied, “no problem, this is my job. You know you’ve got to love what you do...” And it showed he he finally got them on and off..!! The office is well put together with greeting, to answering all questions. I was there for some hours and the quality of professionalism is TOP NOTCH!! May I add my Dr. Continued to work with me and helped make sure I had the correct type of contacts... Booking an appointment over the phone was easy and they had a spot open that same week. The staff were all very friendly! I noticed them when we were looking for a new place to go after having moved to the area. They had excellent reviews and several of them. There was an assortment of mostly positive experiences with a few hiccups. After reading the few negative comments, I realized that these were people that go looking for problems. However, I have seen a major decline on the quality of service over the years and I had to finally leave this clinic for good.For example, I have a Blue Shield Insurance and I was really enthusiastic to make an appointment to see doctors there. Ive been going to the West Covina Golden Optemetric for years and never had any issues before now. When I went for my exam Saturday, its the first time that the front desk attendee informed me that aside from my exam fee, it would be an extra $75 fitting fee for contacts. Now ive been wearing contacts for over 20 years. I also know my prescription hasnt changed over the last few years. I decided to go with the regular eye exam and order contacts elsewhere. When I asked for a copy of my prescription, Christian refused becasue he said I would need to come in for another exam and fitting. Why? I placed an order for just reading glasses my vision is 2020 but sometimes get tired when doing work on my computer or reading my glasses were ordered February 9th 2022. Today Its March 15th. I have called about 4 × 2 ask and they just keep telling me that my glasses havent arrived. I Came in for my exam they were able to take me in a little earlier than my scheduled appointment which was great ! I had my eye exam with Dr.Yang she was very sweet and educative about my new changes in prescription I also asked her if I could be a good candidate for Lasik the fact that she said yes was even more exciting. After the exam I went to see their selection and they had a wide selection of frames, I found the perfect pair ! My glasses got here so fast and I’m now adjusted to my prescription. thank you so much Dr.Yang and Golden Optometric!

I could go on and on about how wonderful everything is here, but I’ll keep it short and to the point. The optometrists LISTEN to you, genuinely do their best to meet all your needs, and take their time to do a thorough vision screening. I have a lot of trouble with my vision, have been to several optometrists, and this is the first office I visit where I leave feeling and seeing wonderfully! They also have a large array of frames and sunglasses. You will NOT be disappointed. I’d leave my doctor’s name, but then I’d never fit into his schedule again; luckily, I’ve had great experiences with every optometrist I’ve seen there over the years. You cannot go wrong!

I’ve been a patient at Golden Optometric for years. Two years ago I decided to find something closer to home (it’s a 45 min to 1hour commute). It was no where near the same experience. From the service to the care and follow up. The service and experience at Golden Optometric was by far the best I’ve ever received.Even during these difficult times, they made my visit comfortable and easy. Very unprofessional. Dr. Wong has to be the most ignorant person in the medical field and I have worked in the medical field for over 15 years. I have personally left him messages (around 13) and have yet to receive a call back (not a single call back). I called again and asked for him without saying my name, they said yes hold on he is right here. The receptionist got back on the phone to transfer me. Instantly they put me on hold and came back stating that he was with a patient. Typical... If I could give (-)5 starts I would. Thank God Im not a patient at this place, I feel sorry for the patients who have to deal with such ignorance.
