I had never heard of a public adjuster until my home was flooded, and a friend recommended looking into it. After reaching out to and meeting with several adjusters, I decided to go with Patrick at Golden Coast Claims, and it was the best decision I could have made. Patrick guided us through the entire process of dealing with the insurance company, leveraging his extensive knowledge and connections with many of the insurance agents involved.Not only did Patrick assist us in finding a reputable contractor, but he also saved us a significant amount of money by uncovering insurance funds we didnt even know we were entitled to. His services were worth every penny. Despite the financial strain we were under to complete all the necessary repairs, Patrick and his team were patient, professional, and understanding throughout the process.If youre reading this and need help with an insurance claim, stop what youre doing and give Patrick a call. My home had extensive water damage that destroyed about 75% of the house. The insurance wanted to pay about 60% of the cost of rebuilding it.Im not going to go into a long detailed review, because the only thing that matters is how much more money they got me than my insurance was willing to pay. More than double and Ill leave it at that.Kevin handled every aspect of the insurance claim. I had little to no involvement in the process. He also helped guide me through other aspects of my loss. I cant say enough about these guys, Kevin in particular.I recommend them 120%.

A little late on this review but I wanted to share our wonderful experience this past summer with Patrick at Golden Coast Claims.As first time homeowners, we were really nervous about coming across water damage in the kitchen and had no idea where to turn and how to file a claim with our insurance. Our contractor Jonathan from JW Home Care (also local and exceptional) referred us to Patrick to help us with the claim. I had never even heard of a public adjuster and had no idea just how beneficial it could be to have one on board.Patrick came to our home the next day and gave us some information about how he could help. Not once did we feel like he was pushing his services, in fact he was genuinely friendly with his advice. We signed him on the next day and are so grateful we did. He took care of everything on the insurance side and guided us every step of the way, always available for questions. In the end we were left with a settlement much greater than we would have ever been able to get on our own and were able to restore our kitchen exactly how we wanted.If youre in a similar situation and nervous about the lengthy insurance claims process, I highly recommend reaching out to Patrick and his team for guidance. Patrick and his team at Golden Coast Claims are the absolute best at what they do! We hired them to help us work with our insurance company on a recent water leak that we had in our home.Our mainline leaked into our kitchen while we were at work and luckily our front camera alerted us to movement at the house which was the water overflowing our patio area. Thankfully we got home in time to shut the water off before further damage was done to the home. Unfortunately, we ran into some issues with our insurance company and thats when my search for a PA started. I called and left messages with three different Public Adjuster companies but Patrick was the only one that called me back.We met with Patrick at our home, and he made us feel seen and heard, never once made us feel like we were just another file on his desk. We appreciate the time he spent with us to reassure us that we would be okay, and our home would be taken care of. A few months ago a water pipe burst in my home. My downstairs flooring, which was only 3 years old, lifted and buckled in several areas. The thought and stress of dealing with this was completely overwhelming. I was awakened to a sudden pipe burst (slab leak) in the middle of the night. There was water gushing out from the hardwood floor, the walls… the entire downstairs was flooded! Completely stunned, we found the water shut off then began making frantic phone calls to plumbers, water restoration companies, and Googling what to do in such an event. Eventually, someone referred us to Patrick at Golden Coast Claims. Thankfully, we found him early (second or third day after the incident) and he was able to give us good information from the very beginning. The initial call was free and for about 45 minutes, Patrick patiently and clearly explained the steps of this process and how his company can help. Although unsure at first, we knew that without his expertise, we would not be able to navigate this complicated and overwhelming process on our own. Fast forward to 3 months later... my home is rebuilt, the insurance claim closed (with maximum payout), and life is getting back to normal again. During the 3 months, the GCC team fielded all the calls/negotiations with the insurance company and kept me in the loop of everything that was going on. Patrick, Kevin, Lynn - the whole GCC team exceeded my every expectation and did it all with kindness and professionalism. While we were at dinner, we received a call that water was coming up from our bathtub through the master bathroom. We called our trusted plumber, Gary from Westco Rooter. Gary informed us that there was a broken pipe under the slab. It will be an expensive fix and it would be better to call insurance company. Because of the nature of the pipe break, it will not be covered by the insurance. Also, dealing with water damage in your home is quite a process. So we were advised to contact Public Adjusters. We spoke to a couple of them but Kevin O from Golden Coast seemed to fit our personality . He explained the process which is quite lengthy and this was the first type of claim we had ever made. We so appreciate Kevins help. Once you hired a PA, all communications to Insurance company will be done by Kevin. It takes the burden off of us. The process: Basically, the Restoration company will come to assess the floors and walls and the slab to check how much water has been absorbed in the walls. They will then place fans to dry out the area and the testing for toxic stuff. LA county residents need to register before testing for mold, lead, and Asbestos followed by Demolition. We are grateful that Kevin guided us through this complicated process. Our insurance company adjuster came to check out the damage and Kevin took charge and communicated what needs to be repaired and for what we needed to be compensated. He came to look at our damage, did some measurements, and explained to us what to expect in the coming weeks. Again, this is the first time that we have had such a significant water flooding and Kevin helped us through it. Kevin followed through on compensating us, highlighting items and expenses that we would never thought of claiming. As you can see in the pictures, it was quite an extensive water damage and Kevin helped us to so that we can pay for the repairs all and bring the bathroom back to its original condition. At the moment we are living in containers and our house looking like a storage unit, we are glad that it is about to be over and we get to have our life back to how it was before this all came up.Btw if you get a chance to meet the owner (Patricks) father Lynn, you are in for a treat...he is a great conversationalist and full of knowledge . A great family owned company!

Call Kevin and the team at Golden Coast First!!!As soon as you discover water - call Kevin first! I cant say enough good things about Kevin and Golden Coast claims. We made the mistake of calling a mold remittance company and trying to deal with our insurance company directly and what a mistake. We didnt understanding the processes of dealing with a water leak and insurance companies desire to deny your claim. We didnt realize that this was going to be an adversarial relationship with insurance out the door. The remittance companies are there to get their hand into your claim before you realize whats even going on. Stay away from mold remittance companies or anyone who wants to pack out your house.I reached out to Kevin after we were already knee-deep in our claim, and hes given us the best advice and has helped guide us through this horrible process. If I could go back in time, the first call I would have made when we discovered our slab leak, would have been to Kevin. Hes worth every penny and is the only person in this entire process whos actually advocating for you and your family.
