We hired Golden Age Builders to build a 2nd bathroom in our home. From the beginning of the design process to the finished bathroom, we were very impressed with the professionalism of Danielle and Tomas. Absolutely an amazing experience!!! Finding a good and trusting contractor is very hard to find. From the jump Danielle and Tomas made us feel like family. Then came along Michael. He was wonderful too! We truly love this family and their crew. They were able to work with us through these trying times and worked with our budget. We had two additional rooms, a master bathroom, a small deck and tons more added to our house. Very easy to work with and very organized from beginning to end. I plan to use them for future projects. Our project was to remodel 3 bathrooms, paint inside and outside and add siding to the outside, tile in the entry and fireplace. The time quote was 3-4 months and we moved back in after 3 1/2 months. Good customer service and a very fast response when I call or texted. They gave me a lot of guidance picking the light fixtures and bathroom faucets. Golden Age Builders is a great choice for any remodel!

Let us start by saying that before we chose Golden Age Builders to work on our home we had never heard of this company and had no relationship with the owners or any of the workers. Since we bought our home 6 years ago we have had several companies updating or upgrading it, but by far Golden Age Builders did the best job for the best price we found. Only the highest quality materials and labor are used. The project was actually completed ahead of schedule. The clean up was perfect; not a trace that they were even here. Thank you Tom! You absolutely nailed it.

I was never going to write this review but after 2 years were still uncovering problems Golden Age Builders put upon my wife and I.We hired GAB in the summer of 2020 to do some home remodeling (specifically: building a fence, installing/creating a new window that wasnt there, building a roof deck, installing a new entry doorway). After about 4 months of work and nearly $100k spent, they “finished”, however, my wife and I were severely disappointed (an understatement) in the work.As shown in the attached photos, they completely destroyed our outdoor space (I mean any all plant life decimated. You can see before and after in the photos), left numerous projects uncompleted (ceiling fans detached, drywall unfinished, filth everywhere), not to mention the new window was and still is a mess. For comparison in the photos, there is a photo where an existing window is on the left and one they installed on the right. Also, it took them 3 visits AFTER our work was completed to fix the window (as it had been consistently leaking whenever it rained) only to discover they had installed the wrong type of window to begin with. So on the 4th time around they finally installed the correct window only to now rediscover the window still leaks (see attached).I’ve hired other contractors since, and gotta say, I’ve never had any trouble compared to what we dealt with with Golden Age Builders.I can’t even remember the last time I wrote a review for anything but I felt it necessary to warn any potential customers about what they’re getting into with this company.

Great contractor!We had nothing but a positive experience. They started work the day after we got our quote, and within days we had a beautiful new kitchen. They did such a good job that we had them back for a bathroom and for the back yard. Their prices were very competitive and they delivered on everything they promised. They even went above and beyond to fix any little thing that bothered me. As with any construction, there were minor, unavoidable hiccups. Each time they made sure we were happy with the result. Were so happy with their work. Thank you so much to Tomas, Ron and the whole team. Excellent work.

I worked with Golden Age Builders on two separate projects, to renovate both bathrooms in my condo in LA. I worked with Sebastian who managed both projects, and I could not recommend Sebastian & his team more!He was extremely communicative during the entire process - from project scope through completion - answering all my questions, keeping me updated on project updates & timelines. He and his team were experienced and were able to tackle both bathrooms - they both came out great! Sebastian and his team advised me on the finishes as I was designing both myself and purchasing all finishes.Lastly, Stella was also great in communicating with me on timelines & managing payments throughout the project.Incredible team, 10/10!!

We just had 3 showers installed by Golden Age Builders and we are very pleased with the outcome. The showers are beautiful and a fantastic upgrade. Our project manager and designer Tomas and Danielle, were professional, on time, and very hard working. They kept us apprised of the progress of the job at all times. I love Golden Age Builders for transferring my kitchen into a beautiful and exceptionally functional living space, They listened to what I hoped to accomplish with the renovation... a more open floor plan. They were so detail oriented, The fact that there would be no additional costs once the project started and that Golden Age Builders uses their own staff for all the work, helped me make my decision. The project teams who worked at my home were dedicated and professional. They treated me like they were working for their own family. At the end of each day, the jobsite was neat and organized.

We worked primarily with Danielle for the design and planning of our 1940s era kitchen renovation. Coming into the project our goals were #1 to add a dishwasher and #2 rejuvenate the kitchen and breakfast nook without destroying the existing charm. We were pretty hands-off and open minded; Danielle came up with a tasteful refresh that seamlessly blended with the existing style. Tomas our project manager was professional and made sure we understood his plan. The project finished on time and on budget and his work crew was clean and professional. Communication with Tomas was easy and timely. Everything went as planned. We have received compliments from everyone who knew our kitchen before.We LOVE our kitchen!

After meeting with several contractors, I chose Tomas with Golden Age Builders for a 500 sq ft addition to my house. His bid was very reasonable, and after meeting with him I felt reassured that he knew my needs and that I could trust him with my project. I definitely made the right decision.We ran into a few snags along the way with permitting, because of some inconsistencies in the plans (not their fault, I already had the plans before I hired them). Tomas took care of working with the city and the engineer to straighten it all out. He was very good at communicating with me, and keeping me up to date on what was going on.One of my biggest concerns in doing the addition was bugs - I really can’t stand them, and was worried about having parts of my house opened up while they were working on the addition. Tomas went above and beyond to satisfy me at all times that everything was sealed up, scheduling work however he could to make me the most comfortable. Even if my bug fears weren’t really warranted, Tomas understood and worked with me at every turn, always with a smile.As for the quality of the work, it is excellent. I am so happy with my new room - it turned out just like I imagined it. And if there were any little things that weren’t exactly how I wanted them, Tomas always took care of them, never stopping until I was satisfied.Tomas and everyone at Golden Age Builders were a pleasure to work with. His workers were all very friendly and helpful, and did a great job. I would definitely use them again.

We hired Golden Age Builders to do a renovation on our home in Santa Monica. The job included kitchen renovation, 3 bathrooms, tiling, and roof replacement. We met with several contractors before deciding to hire them. As soon as we met Tomas, we felt like we could trust our home with his company. Golden Age Builders did a room addition to our house, it was clear that additions are their specialty. This is our first time remodeling so we were new to the process, Ron,our project manager took care of everything and it went smoothly. We are really satisfied with the results and are so happy we went with them. They were always on time, honest and open to ideas and questions we had. We knew we wanted to add another bedroom to our house but were not really sure about the specifics. They shared their ideas while working with ours, they truly know how to work with their customers which made this whole experience so much easier. We heard stories in the past about companies surprising customers with hidden fees which results in paying more for the project than originally planned. Just like the saying goes: its hard to find a good remodeling company. But we got lucky with Golden age builders!We used Thomas and his crew a little before Covid 19 hit (back in January 2020) to remodel our 1970s old kitchen. During the whole kitchen remodeling Thomas and his men had made it Super Easy for my husband and I --from designing the kitchen, different options of the kitchen cabinets, to different colors of the countertops. They even brought sample kitchen materials for us to see at our house to choose-- This really helped us save some time driving around to different places checking out materials.We were so happy with the result of our new kitchen and how hassle free the whole kitchen project was. We even added new flooring and bolted down our entire house. Thanks to Golden Age Builders we were able to live comfortably during the whole stay at home Covid-19 quarantine.Now Fast forward to now January 2021, after a year of using our new kitchen I called Thomas to come back and help us relocate the kitchen air vent from one spot in the kitchen to another spot . And Thomas agreed and honored his kitchen remodeling guarantee of ONE yr and relocated our air vent for FREE! And the next day he sent his guy Rahul and took care of it right away! I honestly loved how quickly Thomas worked his magic for his customers and his workers always does an excellent job! I am truly thankful that I found Golden Age builders on our first remodeling project! This company is a One stop shop for remodeling newbies like us, who wanted to remodel their house but doesnt know how/where to start. We chose Golden Age for a large kitchen and bathroom project that took 2+ months. It was a fantastic decision because Tomas treated us like family, was incredibly communicative, and his teams were all very professional, kind and did a fantastic job. Even when they did the initial demolition, they left our house swept and ready for us to walk through. It’s a best case scenario for having contractors in your house everyday. Golden Age just completed a total renovation of our hair salon. We had to start from scratch by updating the electric, plumbing, walls, windows, and floors. It was a huge job, and Tom and his crew took care of the details at every step. Everyday the team would clean up, so we never came to the salon and see a mess. I am so glad I hired Golden Age Builders, they have fair prices and the quality of their work is beyond perfect. The thing I liked the most is that right after the first meeting with Tomas, every idea I had about my future bathroom was completely put into a 3D design, so I can visualize my plans. Tomas is the best contractor I have ever dealt with. I had plenty of questions and special requests and he was always responsive and understanding of all my concerns. Its as if he treated my bathroom remodel as his personal bathroom remodel, emphasizing every single detail and staying true to the promise of his timing. Even went something went wrong (due to 3rd party manufacturer), Tomas used his connections to fix the issue and make it better. Hes the best in the business, simply put. I just finished remodeling my bathroom yesterday with George and Abel from Golden Age group.After I did my first bathroom last year and had to deal with two contractors from different company, who gave me nightmares and stress and end up with high cost, I knew what it was like to go through remodeling and how hard it is to find a good and trustful contractor.And, I ended up being so lucky this year with doing my 2nd bathroom, choosing Golden age group for the job after getting quote from 7-8 different contractors initially.I can tell you these guys are the best. They gave me the best quote, and very fast getting the job done and tried all their best to make me happy and get things done the way I want. Everything was smooth and even though I was being picky several times, they did all the things to make the way I wanted. All the workers, George and Gilbert and Abel, they are super professional and trustful and did awesome job. They even came back a couple of times to fix things that I didnt noticed even after the project was completed. Thank you so much For all the work. I give you guys 10 out of 10. Now, for the all my future home remodeling, I dont have to look for other contractors, I can just ask them to start.

We purchased a new home where the previous owner had very old fashioned kitchen and bathrooms, that were rotting away.I searched on Yelp and called a few different contractors, and we picked Tomas from Golden Age Builders because he was the most responsive via phone and text,had solid reviews, plus gave the cheapest price (the trifecta!).My husband and I couldnt be happier with the quality of work and service that he provided... I called him on a Thursday evening and he came by the very next day, provided the quote the following morning, and started work a few days after that. We had to go out of town during the job but Tomas made sure to keep us updated daily with progress updates and pictures/videos via text. The design of our kitchen and 3 bathrooms was done with such great taste and classy touch. Tomas kept in mind all our needs and requests, applied them with professionalism and great care.If i had to do it again Id hire him in a heartbeat. If you have major construction work to do, definitely consider him in your bids, you wont be disappointed.

My kitchen appliances were horribly outdated and the kitchen was so messy looking. It was such an embarrassment when I had friends over. Finally I realized that it was time for a change. The remodel included new cabinets and drawers for my pots and pans, a new marble countertop that goes perfectly with the wooden floors in the space, and brand new appliances. I am incredibly happy with the work of Golden Age Builders workers. I definitely recommend this company !!!

I am very picky about my bathroom space because I am a FEMALE and I spend a lot of time in the bathroom. Its my second happy place, so of course I want it to look superb. I contacted Golden Age Builders because I was in high need of a good air conditioning system. Now the Californian sun doesn’t bother me anymore. From finding the most experienced installers to making the proper adjustments in the room for installing the smart thermostats, they dealt with everything. I am a busy person and having artificial grass seemed like a great idea to me. Now I don’t have to think about the aesthetic of my house, not even when it’s raining, because it doesn’t get muddy at all. My boyfriend made an appointment for a special consultation and I said oh no, but when it came time for Ron to come to our home he was such a personable man that we were put to ease right away. After finding out our needs, with their help, we decided on a bathroom that was perfect for us. We were told it would be the middle of May when the crew would be out to put in the bathroom but to our surprise, they showed up the first week of May Instead and had our bathroom done in less than a month The crew they sent was so pleasant and fast plus efficient about keeping our home clean at the same time, it was wonderful. I can never thank you enough for one more step to a more comfortable & pleasant living!
