Gold Country was always on time, protected our yard plants, and house and porch and prevent any other possible problems. They made sure any required access to our home was available since we have mobility issues.Job was actually completed slightly ahead of schedule. Each day and when totally complete cleanup was perfect as it was on the final day. Very easy to work with overall so would definitely recommend them to anyoneneeding new roof.Mary and Wally Krill

We are so pleased with Gold Country Roofing. We first asked them to replace the roof over our back deck and add some skylights as the ones we had were always leaking during rainstorms. This was over a year ago and since they installed the roofing and new skylights, we havent had a single leak. We then asked them to come back and install a new roof on our 2200 sq. ft. house - they were in and out of here in less than 2 days and you would never know there had been a contractor on the property. Superior workmanship, integrity, honesty, great value for the money, and above and beyond are the words I would use to describe the entire Gold Country Roofing team including the office staff. We highly recommend them for any roofing/skylight/gutter needs!

My neighbor had his roof replaced 1.5 years ago and was really happy with the work Gold Country Roofing did so when it was time this spring for ours to be replaced, I knew I had to give them a call. Ben, the estimator, showed up on time and was very personable. He spent a lot of time on the roof checking everything out. When it came time to make a decision on which roofer to use, Gold Country was the no brainer choice. Their bid was competitive, theyre recognize by both Nevada and Placer county as high quality roofers, and Ben and Shannon were easy to work with. Couldnt have been happier with the crew that came out. They were professional and went above and beyond to make sure that everything was done right. I would definitely recommend Gold Country Roofing.

First off, I was unable to get any other roofing business to come out and give me an estimate for getting a completely new roof. One local Grass Valley company that will remain anonymous set an actual appointment and then did not show up. From the very first phone call to Gold Country Roofing, I had immediate results. Ben arrived and walked on roof and answered all questions and pointed out a few things that needed to be addressed. he was very polite well mannered, helpful and knowledgeable. I was impressed. Ben left us with a stack of options and information and his personal number if we had any questions. Within a few days we received a price which included more work than we had planned on as we got new gutters as well and we knew there were repairs to be done to our badly leaking roof. The price was much less than we expected for all the work that needed to be done. We also had a skylight installed that I was concerned about as they are notorious for leaking. The roofing crew were polite, well mannered, fast working and efficient and cleaned up the entire sight each day. They actually painted our ugly roof vents which I had been nagging my husband to do for years, that was truly an unexpected, pleasant surprise. Topped off with easy financing, I couldnt be more thrilled. The final recommendation was that the skylight was installed at 3:30 pm and it began to rain heavily at 5:30 pm. and has continued to rain for 5 more days NO LEAKS ANYWHERE!!!!

From the very start, Gold Country Roofing has been amazing. They’re extremely courteous, detailed, punctual, and honest. Their rep, Ben, took the time to explain things, sometimes more than twice and went though every detail. The design recommendations were on point as we were changing the color of the roof. My roof is gorgeous! Who knew gutters could be beautiful?! We had 7 different roof companies come out and Gold Country outshined the rest by far. Their team was quick, efficient, courteous and cleaned up daily. Their warranty can not be beat. They paid attention to what was important to us as clients and treated us so well; we could not recommend them more!

A neighbor had recommended Gold Country Roofing to us so we asked for a quote to replace our roof and gutter system. We also asked two other local roofing companies. All three had great reviews, were very professional, and offered comparable product and pricing. We chose Gold Country and are very happy with the quick (2 days) job. We had the work done in August of 2020. Our roof looks fabulous and we are so happy to have a new, fire code compliant, gutter system that wont clog with leaves or pine needles. Ben is a very responsive and professional rep and Shannon is extremely helpful with all paperwork. I recommend Gold Country Roofing without reservation!

They showed on time with a crew that was well organized and efficient. My roof needed some repairs due to dry rot and they did a great job fixing those issues. They left my yard and driveway cleaner than it was when they arrived. The roof looks great, the gutters look great and included a leaf guard. They had the best price amongst 3 bids and theirs was the only bid with leaf guards on the gutters. The whole process was easy to handle from start to finish.

We have a very large and steep roof, such that some roofers would not take this on. Gold Country was very professional and skilled and have access to a large crew which enabled them to complete the whole house and garage in less than 8 eight working days. They were very capable, thorough, respectful, and cleaned up their work areas every day. We could not have been more pleased.

I am completely happy with my gutters Gold Country Roofing installed. The color is exactly what was expected. The gutters are wide and have a topper which will make fall leaf cleaning a breeze. Gold Country Roofing proved to be professional and responsive from their first visit to video our roof to show us its condition and provide an estimate of the reroofing job, to doing the a job, to cleaning up after the job and thereafter responding to what we thought was a problem. As it turned out, the problems was not with the roof or their work, but they solved it anyway.It has been a number of years since they reroofed out house and we have remained problem free. If their business model is as it was when they did our roof, we like the idea that the company is employee owned. Highly recommended.

Gold Country Roofing went above and beyond to keep to best practices and quality work. After starting, it turned out that the old roof was covering several problems from past attempts to avoid having to pay for proper upkeep and maintenance. The house is over a hundred years old, so I wasnt surprised, but the good news was that Gold Country Roofing addressed all of the problems without adding a small fortune to our initial agreement. During the days that the work was being done, I remember that there was a heat wave. Too hot for me to want to go outside, but the work continued without interruption. I contacted Gold Country roofing to give me a quote on a new roof. The quote was for Owens Corning shingles with Ventsure ridge venting. They were prompt in coming out and giving me a quote. I have had some other roof projects done in the past and by experience I know that venting the attic space properly is very important. Cool air needs to come in from the soffit vents at bottom and hot air needs to escape from the top ridge vents. So when I had further questions with Ben the estimator on if the roofers were going to calculate the proper venting ratio for net free vent space from the soffit vents to the ridge vents he said no. So needless to say I would stay away from Gold Country roofing unless you dont care about cooling your attic space properly. Go on line to find out proper venting formulas. Its not rocket science. In some cases you have to ask yourself if title 24 makes you spend more $$$ for cool roof shingles why does your proper attic venting become unimportant. Proper venting is the key to a cooler attic with no mold issues.
